Gambling can swallow you up even if you think you're in control. Using your own money to bet can be just as risky if not managed properly. Fun? Fun fades. Fun develops into tension, stress into obsession, and you spiral out of control. Or "seeing your luck" ? Please!

The idea that you may have pleasure without winning is too popular. Winning is euphoric and addictive. Once you taste it, its easy to get hooked. Oh, so easy. To make money, many gamblers without money risk losing everything. But guess what? Even wealthy people can fall for it. The risk is losing oneself in the pursuit, not simply money.
Gambling can be fun if you can treat gambling properly. But when you lose control, you become increasingly obsessed with getting a clearly difficult win. You will only experience many losses, especially if you cannot control your gambling. Moreover, if you don't have money but decide to gamble, it will only waste all the money.

But when you can win from that little money, you will start to get addicted, and it will be difficult to decide to stop gambling. You have discovered the pleasure of winning, but you forget to stop, which can cause you to lose all the money, including the winnings.

Gambling, gambling... A wonderful and dangerous world, right? You're right about casinos' VIP appeal. VIP status is appealing, especially with its advantages and bonuses. However, as you noted, financial considerations are crucial

VIP status takes money—a lot of money—not just time. Don't you think the journey should be as good as the destination? Why race to VIP when you can appreciate every game, bet, and moment? Isn't setting limitations wise? Time and money constraints... Limits safeguard us from pitfalls

Why pursue the VIP dream so hard? Why not enjoy the ride, set limitations, and keep gambling fun? Gambling is about having fun, right?
Gambling offers people the opportunity to gamble and win a lot of money. But they don't realize the danger behind gambling, which is ready to take their money. And when they try to chase those offers, they will only become addicted to gambling. Chasing VIPs? It didn't look good if they weren't prepared for defeat.

People who chase VIPs by using a lot of money think about the prestige of their story of getting that VIP. Even though the person doesn't have much money to get it, it would be better if they just gambled for fun because, in the end, they will reach VIP too, and they won't even realize it. Their journey to reach VIP will also not be felt because they only gamble for fun. And they can also enjoy every moment they get when playing gambling.
1743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If we lose in gambling, what do we need to do? on: October 12, 2023, 02:42:54 PM
It's also a place to earn money as well as long as you will able to win the game. That's it. Losing money is also a part of process in winning the game. If there would be lose and there is also winning as well.

Other gambling gamblers have no other source of income, but somehow they win. And if there is no win, there is no profit. The only problem is that even though we know that the number of losers is greater, we still continue to gamble. Why is it?

Because there are still gamblers who hope that one day they will get lucky and get the jackpot. But there are still only a few who win, because there are still other gamblers who have a tendency to stop playing or betting when they win.
If they win, that's good for them. But if they lose, they should not consider recovering their losses because that will require more money. And it's best if they lose. They can rest first. Perhaps they need a few days to rest and be able to return to the casino again. But they shouldn't return to the casino, especially if they do not see any opportunity to make money from the casino. They will only experience more losses so that all their money will be gone.
1744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Winning Wisely: Strategies to Protect Your Bankroll on: October 12, 2023, 02:15:15 PM
~snip~
This is a lot easier said than done to be honest with you. Winning leads to a spike in adrenaline which leads us to keep wanting more and more which is why it's extremely difficult to stop no matter what the amount is.

The easiest way to counter this is to gamble with a bankroll that you are willing to lose in one session.
It's true, but we'll never know if we don't try. Apart from that, if we can overcome it, it will be useful for us because we will not be tempted to chase the next victory because it will be difficult. We should try to learn for our own good so that later, we can have good self-control.

We can also remember that we cannot win easily in gambling. And we also have to limit the money to prevent excessive loss of money.

~snip~
But to be very honest It's not that easy ending the gambling just like that for that very day, it really demands great discipline to usually stick to the idea as there are occasions I get carried away by my own enthusiasm in the game and snob the thought of stopping since I have managed to get  a win.  It's as if I turn out to become my own obstacle to my subscribed idea. Lol.  Nevertheless, if we're able to keep to standards we have created  to guide our conduct, behavior and decisions on how we would handle our gambling life it will earn us a healthy gambling lifestyle.
That is why we need to learn self-discipline to end gambling without wanting to chase more wins or recover losses. It's difficult, but at least we have to try not to sink too deep into gambling for our own good. You already know how to treat gambling so that it doesn't negatively impact your life, so you always try to limit yourself. There is no point if we become addicted to gambling because our family will also feel it. After all, that is the impact of gambling.
1745  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: October 12, 2023, 01:54:17 PM

I agree with that. It is their life and they know their situation the most more than us. There are people who are comfortable in showing that he/she is a gambler, one example of it are streamers, they stream and flaunt their gambling experience over their streaming platform or social media because they want to interact with people who are also interested with gambling and also to gain followers and casino deals of course. It is just depending on how you see your situation and on how it can impact you as an individual who gamble.
They will choose to interact with people around them or hide it from people because this will depend on their comfort. And when they are comfortable hiding their gambling activities, they will continue to hide it and will not say anything to other people, especially when pressed to tell the truth. Well, it is a choice for them, and we cannot force them to choose what we suggest. It is better to just let them choose their choice.

~snip~
The only way we can keep our gambling habits secret is when we make sure that no one in our family knows about our gambling activities. There are some people that do see gamblers like irresponsible people so if we eventually exposed our gambling activities, we might end up making things worse for us and people will see us as irresponsible.

Since we are all different from each other's with different mindset and interest, it is good not to justify people especially when they are already addicted to gambling. Some persons do not have a job so the only means of survival they have is to bet and try as much to make profits that can be use to settle there bills and responsibilities.
Perhaps they will only gamble when alone, where they will feel more comfortable gambling so that no one bothers them. Perhaps people who hide their gambling activities can still be responsible gamblers without people knowing, so they don't experience any problems while gambling secretly.

And each person's mindset is indeed different, and there will be those who disagree if they know someone is gambling, let alone gambling secretly. However, it is each person's choice, and they can only give suggestions.
1746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Relying on gamble wins is dangerous to mental health on: October 12, 2023, 01:28:02 PM

As we know in any case, if you instill a sense of greed, it will usually lead to things you don't want, such as downturns, especially in gambling, it is very dangerous if you bring greed to gambling because it is clear that winning or losing greed will always bring problems for you, especially in finances and also mentally will definitely be disturbed there too. For gambling itself, greed is usually for those who have experienced addiction, are never satisfied with what they get, as you said above and always want more. Basically it is very difficult friends if the person is already addicted, it is difficult to resist that greed even though well indeed avoiding is a better way, but their curiosity always encourages them to continue their gambling.

I think only a few can apply full control and responsibility in their gambling. Agree, if you have won then it is better to immediately make a withdrawal, greed comes out of your curiosity and of course for the final result will not always be in accordance with what you want, it is even very likely that you will lose the victory again. So the point is even though your winnings are a little no problem, it's better than you lose.
Greed will not do us any good, especially if it is gambling, and they will not get anything and will even lose all their money. But many gamblers don't pay attention to this and instead try to chase bigger wins. This will not be achieved easily because they have to face losses that could become bigger. That will only cause even bigger problems because they can experience a gambling addiction, which will be difficult to cure if there is no desire from within them.

Indeed, only a few can apply full self-control and responsibility in gambling. They want to get an even bigger win even though it is greed they are unaware of. And if they still can't realize it, they will get deeper into gambling, and their gambling addiction will get bigger. At that time, they will not think about stopping gambling but will gamble more often.

If maybe its too bad because you are addicted, you have to need help from all means, such as help from psychiatric doctor and we have to provide close support and if everything seems to have improved, it would be better to give him activities or a little work to divert his mind, not only focus on gambling and someone I know used this method when they wanted to quit their addiction and look for alternative brain therapy by working.
Getting a professional to help cure his gambling addiction is necessary, apart from the support of his family members, so that the gambling addict sees that he still has other people who care about him. He will see it as an encouragement and support for him to be able to undergo the healing process and will not find it difficult to go through it. And maybe there is a healing process that requires him to do activities to divert his attention from gambling. And everything will go well if there is attention from everyone so that without realizing it, he manages to cure his gambling addiction.

Giving out the responsibility of looking after your kids to some one else from outside is not ideal because it's definitely not a guarantee they would do their job exactly as expected of them, at some point they could be negligent or better still the kids could device means to get away with what ever it is they are doing around their guardians and you wouldn't get to know.

In the case of gambling addiction the kids could have gotten this trait and possibly hide it from their hired guardian and it will never come to their notice as they will not be with the kids always except during their official working hour's. So I don't think leaving them to a hired guardian will do any better on them as some guardians in the bid to act professionally will have restrictions and can not possibly monitor the child enough as you the parents will do.

In the case of the parents, you have full access and control over your kind at almost any point in time and you can take decision for them  without been cautioned and to a very large extent you could possibly pip into their privacy to get a glimpse of what they do, something your hired guardian could possibly not do, this way you can spot these habits earl enough to curb them.
Apart from that, we will not know what we will teach our children, so there may be differences with what we teach our children when we return to our children. They may not really care about our children and only teach our children as they are without giving our children genuine love. And it is clearly different if the parents give love to their children.

Yes, that's because the hired guardians only work according to their jobs, get paid, and are no longer responsible for their children when they return home. They will hand the children over to their parents and will return the next day as usual while the children are already asleep when their parents return. The guardian cannot decide everything and must wait for approval from the parents when something needs to be decided, so it may take a while before deciding something for the children.

And that is why parents should take care of their children and not hand them over to guardians. It will also bring the relationship between parents and their children closer so that there will be a special feeling that cannot be explained.
1748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do anyone have done this? with gambling platforms on: October 12, 2023, 12:39:34 PM
You know that some of the casino doesn't required KYC verification and some of the casino also take verification very necessary so if they can take it necessary that means you most have done your verification before you can make any withdrawal in their platform, but some times the customers is the caused of the problem of having issues with casino and mostly those people who rush new casino platform without reading the rules and regulations of the platform very well, so it's good for someone to read the teams and conditions of any casino platform before depositing money, so that withdrawal will be as easier as it's.
That's the point for us to read the regulations at the casino so that we know whether we have to do KYC at the beginning, when we want to withdraw money, or whether verification is optional. That way, we will not experience difficulties when we want to withdraw the winnings. But when we want to withdraw winnings, we have to do KYC first, especially if we want to withdraw large winnings so that the casino knows who we are. But for small wins, the casino may not ask you to do KYC, and it depends on each casino. So they should check the regulations first before registering themselves.

Poor thing, she is a person who Had no Experience at all and thought she was going to win , I am sure that the lady Wanted to win so much that She Forgot that the bets could lose , or the other issue is that she only had her money , the only money and She lost it , these things are what may have Affected the lady , I feel sorry because there are many who trust that by making bets they can make more money than they have , for some it doesn't work out for Others , so this is what can do , I'm not one to bet a lot When I don't have Money because it's Worse , I spend it on what I need or I try to stretch the Money.
Perhaps he had bet on sports betting several times, but unfortunately, that time was not the time for his luck to come, so he lost. He may be so eager to win that he forgets that this is gambling where anything can happen. And if he uses big money to bet and loses, he has already lost the big money and probably won't get it back easily. And if it is money for his family's needs, he will definitely have difficulty because he no longer has money to meet his daily needs.

If you are a successful businessman or a boss, maybe you have a lot of time to pay attention to your children and supervise them all the time because you can just stay at home watching them and let your subordinates trust you to manage your business, but if you are a worker it will obviously be difficult. because it will take up your time while working, but no matter how hard you watch them it won't help you more, you might also neglect your business or work

The point is, just entrust it to someone who looks after them or your wife because they might understand them better and be able to supervise them full time, whereas you are a man who has to work and do business outside the home to support them so it won't be possible to always be at home, the point is to give a message to your nanny and wife about the dangers of gambling and keep them away from there.
At least we have a partner who can help supervise and pay attention to our children so they don't do bad things. This requires cooperation with our partners so that each can do their job well because it is all for our children. And every parent is willing to do the best for their children.

But if they already have a gambling addiction, getting them out of there may take more work. And even though we don't know how long we can help the healing process, we must continue to accompany him so that he knows we are always with him. We as parents, might be able to ask him to do something to divert his attention so he can focus on other things.
1751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: October 11, 2023, 04:14:17 PM
234 from 20 cents is a lot
imagine if it was 2 dollars, it would give you more than 2 thousand bucks

but I'm a bit more curious on how many times you played with 20 cents to get this win
once? or many?
if many can you share a bit more on the story, like, you spent 20 dollars (100x the 20 cents bet) or more to get this win?

I'm not really into slots, but after seeing some rare big wins shared on this forum and in the casino chat sections, I decided to give it a try. When I was betting $0.10 per spin, I usually only got back around $0.02 to $0.05, which is less than half of what I bet. Occasionally, I did win double my $0.10, but then I got greedy and kept spinning in the hope of recovering my losses, which eventually wiped out my funds.

A few days later, I thought maybe it was just an unlucky day, so I tried playing slots again. Unfortunately, I ended up depleting my account twice, just like that first day. I repeated this process about four times and ended up empty-handed. I really can't figure out how to win at slots. I was playing a game called Olympus God or something like that.
These tips helped me so I shared here.
Playing slots requires luck, so it is normal if you only get a small return compared to the amount of money you use to play slots. I also often experience this in slot games, and that is the price I have to pay to enjoy the slot game. Perhaps other days, I can be luckier, and there are times when I can win more than $10-$15, but that rarely happens to me.

But in any case, I enjoy my gambling activities well, regardless of the results. But @Betwrong was very lucky to get his big win, which rarely happens to most gamblers.
1752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Relying on gamble wins is dangerous to mental health on: October 11, 2023, 03:40:50 PM
That is the result of greed and your friend is greedy because he wants more wins. If he had stopped in time, he would not have lost all his money and now he could still enjoy his winnings. But it has happened and your friend should realize his mistake and not repeat it again.

If that happens to you, you should be able to stop and leave the casino. That is the best advice you can do so that you don't lose your winnings and can enjoy it with your friends or family. Greed will only give you defeat, especially when you are gambling, so you have to really understand it.
1753  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: October 11, 2023, 03:13:29 PM
I don't really know where to place my gambling habit in this question because, one, I don't gamble if I don't have money, and two, I gamble most times to try luck if I can win more money, so I don't think I have a direct answer to the question as I can use any to justify my gambling habit.

There are people who gamble so well not because they don't have enough money to sponsor whatever lifestyle they want to live, but because they gamble as a result of having enough and looking for places to spend a few of that money on others for them to have fun while spending the money. Sometimes I fall into that category, not because I have more than enough, but sometimes because I have a little left over in my spending budget, I can just use that to try my luck in gambling to see if I can win more.

People can gamble either to make more money or to spend money; it all depends on who the gambler is, but in most cases, gamblers tend to try more luck because they want to win an amount they believe can help aid their financial life a little bit further.
It's good if you don't gamble if you don't have money. That means you can control yourself well and not try to borrow money from other people to gamble. And if you can win more money, your luck may be different from other people. But being able to control yourself well means you don't have a problem with gambling. You can gamble whenever you want, especially if you already have money.

As long as your goal in gambling is just to have fun, you will not be influenced by the desire to win. And if you want to see your luck that day, you can just spend your time gambling. And if you win, you can also stop to enjoy the winnings. But you must know that trying to see luck can turn into chasing victory if you can win in a row. And if that happens, you should be able to stop before things get bad.

Most gamblers who don't have money will try to gamble to make money. But they don't realize that by doing that, they have the potential to lose their money. And if that happens, they won't be able to do anything and can only regret it.
1754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Credit card gambling fuels gambling addiction on: October 11, 2023, 02:45:50 PM
Even though we know that house always wins, people still wanted to challenge that thought.  So gamblers will keep on trying to beat the house every time they wagered on any gambling games.  Sadly most people are carried away with the thought of beating the house and end up spending more and more money and having access to credit card make it worse.

So there are some governments that implement restrictions on the use of credit cards in order to save their citizen from having huge debt.
That's because they see that several people have succeeded in winning at gambling, so they also want to feel that victory by playing longer and using more money. But the reality is that they cannot win from home because they are just players and not the owners of the casino. And this is done by credit card owners who use their credit cards to gamble. But they don't realize that credit card users use company money to gamble, and then at the end of the month, they have to pay their credit card bill. And the credit card bill will depend on how much money you use. With the government's ban, there is a step to save its citizens from unwise use of credit cards.
1755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Changed the game you gamble on? share your story. on: October 11, 2023, 02:17:34 PM
I think all games have their good and bad days, so some people sometimes keep playing even though they know that they won't win that day, or feel they are too unlucky to bet at that time.
What you have to do is be patient or try another day, but that's difficult for those who are used to having to play without ever thinking about the target.
In gambling, you don't know good days or bad days because it all depends on your luck and your analysis. If you are in a good mood when you analyze, you can analyze it well and find a team or player with a chance of winning and vice versa.

But we indeed have to be patient and try another day to win. But most importantly, we can enjoy our gambling activities to have fun in our free time. Don't think about winning, but try to enjoy your time gambling. And if you are lucky, you can win without thinking about it.
1756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casino Crypto gambling on: October 11, 2023, 01:52:25 PM
We are on the bitcointalk forum, and many casinos are crypto based, so we place bets in bitcoin. We also have other options for placing bets in altcoins, but many use bitcoin. Whether you're lucky or not, it depends on each person, but for me, maybe I can still break even. And I can still enjoy my time playing gambling, whatever the results I will receive after I finish gambling. If you bet on sports betting, it requires analytical skills, so you don't need luck. But if you play luck-based gambling games, you really need that luck.

Yes, just as you say, for me things when it comes to how to enter a casino and be a VIP is Not something that is so Easy , but you have to do many things , first of all play, play and have fun, yes we In a casino we seek to win and win , it will go badly for us, because we cannot chase profits all the time, we have to accept that Sometimes in a casino we Lose , and the fact of losing does not mean that things are done wrong, but that have to be Considered because it is money that has to be invested, and if we want to be VIP, then things can be quite difficult, when doing different things in a casino it can be determined that a person has to be clear about what they are doing. does.

If a person seeks to be a VI P, that is not bad, they are good things, good things are rewarded over time, but if a Person loses control just for being a VIP , then in my Opinion it is very Bad.

That is as similar as when a man likes a woman, if that woman makes you do things that go against what you like or that you know will harm you, it is simply not advisable to do it, because first the What they are for you as a ´person are given without further ado, not at once, but if in the time that God has planned, sometimes we want to speed things up because they go wrong and nothing can be done, it has to be done. things under natural schemes, because otherwise it is very likely that it will not turn out well, and let's remember, this thing about casinos has to do with money, and by always pursuing VIP Status you are not going to Enjoy much of the pain that it takes to do so. , the bar loads up the more activity there is, the more bets, the more money, the faster, and the idea is not to become decapitalized, the idea is to enjoy the truck so that many things can be taken into Consideration , First to enjoy, second to win something of money and then the legal Status Alone.
That's why if we only focus on gambling, without realizing it, our account will increase in percentage so that over time, our account will reach VIP level, and that is an achievement that we don't realize so that we can finally get the bonus we want. But in playing gambling, we also have to realize that we need to have limits so that we don't use a lot of money at once, but we use it for several days, weeks or even months until we can reach the VIP level. But we also know the risks of continuing to gamble because gambling will not give us easy wins, and we have to manage our gambling so it doesn't disrupt our finances.

It's not bad to be a VIP, but we must realize that reaching the VIP level requires a lot of money, so we don't need to chase it in a short time. Let us reach that VIP level normally without rushing so we can enjoy our gambling time.

We can only enjoy every moment in the casino, so we don't feel we are chasing VIP levels. Limiting the money and time we use can also prevent us from experiencing losses so that reaching the VIP level will not burden us. Reaching the VIP level for some people may be something to be proud of because it is difficult to reach that VIP level. But we don't chase it but just enjoy our gambling time so we don't feel burdened in reaching the VIP level.

When we talk about difficulties, this is not the end of everything and what we need to do is fight harder and more extra. Fight against all the impossibilities that exist if other people say that you will not be able to get through all this to be able to have full control over yourself in gambling, then don't pay attention to what other people say to you and just do your best, stay focused on the main goal you are gaining control over yourself.
We are fighting against all the impossibilities that other people say is a process to prove that we are truly capable of doing it so that later we will experience it by being able to fully control ourselves. As a result, we will enjoy it and not other people, so we can silence the words of people who say we can't do it. They won't believe we can finally do it so they will salute us. We have to stay focused on living it and not give up before we achieve the main goal we want to achieve. And if we can master it well, we won't have any more problems with the previous one because we can handle it well.

First, let me say that it takes someone who is sick to first and foremost, realize and accept that he or she is sick, before he or she can proceed to visiting the hospital for possible tests and medication based on what the doctor found out through the test, to be the ailment the patient is suffering from.

What am i saying in essence?, A gambling addict who have refused to accept that he or she is addicted, helping such person can most of the time be just you wasting your time, because addiction have everything to do with the mind, and if the gamblers mind have not come in agreement with you that he or she is addicted and truly needs help, trust me when i tell you that, trying to force help on such individual is a waste of time.

Better to leave such a person to go on with whatever he or she is doing, hoping that one day, the person will indeed realize that he or she needs help, this is when your help can indeed yield good result in the gamblers life.
Realizing that he is sick is the most important thing so that he can complain about it to a hospital or rehabilitation centre so that a psychologist can help him find the right solution to cure him. Otherwise, he will not be able to get a solution from a psychologist or even from other members of his family.

This requires concern from his family members to make him aware that he has a gambling addiction and must immediately get professional help. Otherwise, his gambling addiction will get worse and will disrupt his life. It will indeed be very difficult to make him aware, but this depends on his family members so that a gambling addict can be aware and willing to follow their advice to cure himself who is addicted to gambling.

Yes, leaving it alone might be possible,, but if there are family members who still care, he might still take a different approach than he has done because, he is still part of the family.

I agree with the fact that it depends on the people who wants to help the addicted gambler cure his addiction, firstly coming with a judgmental approach make the gambler less responsive to solutions, when you judge him and exact all blame on him for been the reason everything happened to him/her, the gambler becomes less Open and will conceal most information that's need to help for fear of been judged and blamed again.

Approaches matters a lot as this will determine to a good extent how responsive the gambler who needs help will be responding to solutions offered them. They have to be treated with care and a good level of confidentiality especially for one who has hidden their gambling habit for a very long while, if they don't sense confidentiality they will open up less, but if the security of their information is sure they will speak up more.

Gamble addiction is not a plague and has solutions so we should learn to treat people who suffers this addiction with love, care and hope to get better after. I think professional help dose the job better because they know how best to offer solutions that will be tailored to various levels of addiction and how well to fix it fast enough.
Perhaps people who want to help gamblers who are addicted to gambling should take various approaches that might be successful in making the gambling addict aware. Most gambling addicts who close themselves off from other people will not open up to other people easily, so this requires a different approach than what has been done. And of course, it will also take longer because those who help will try many different approaches.

This approach will help gambling addicts open themselves up to talk more so that people who want to help them can start to sit down and listen to the real problem. After that, they can discuss what the gambling addict can do to start healing. And of course, gambling addicts would prefer it if their gambling confidentiality could be maintained properly while healing.

Yes, gambling addiction has a solution, and that is why people who want to help must be able to help and support gambling addicts to cure their gambling addiction. And if necessary, they can go to a professional to ask for treatment and find a more suitable method for their gambling addict.

It depends really on the preferences of a person. Some person might be comfortable with many people knowing their gambling habits, however some might find a hard time sharing it with others. And no matter what reason they might have, it's all valid. Perhaps some people have a negative experience about others knowing it such as others invading their privacy or prying too much on their personal lives to the point they feel like suffocating because others have so much opinion for them or controls how they should act. So I totally get it if some prefer to keep being low key and have only few people know about their gambling habits.
For reasons that each person has, they will continue with their choice because it makes them comfortable. The important thing is that each person who gambles will know what to do and see the reaction of the people around him and his environment. If they see it is better to hide their gambling activities, they will do so and vice versa. But whatever they choose, we should not blame them because we don't know the situation and conditions in their environment and what they are facing.
