1741  Economy / Lending / Re: 200 for 250 & till the end of January. on: January 16, 2023, 10:29:23 AM
Some may know some may don't, but im gonna be open again, i was released from prison after 6 years and 3 months served time for mining crypto, more specifically btc. My motherland is Bulgaria, there mining is not illegal, nor legal, but yes, they did charged me for money laundering and tax fraud, draining all i had accumulated from mining and trading. Destroying my farm and all, and here i am. This is the time where having some cash is crucial for me. Openly said I turned from rich to rag. But it is what it is. If someone is in position to lend me any amount will technically help me get on my feet at this part of the month. If not, it is what it is. Thank in advance and i do understand if no one reach his hand, i know trust issues best.

Ps.
200 is the max i need, but every penny count.
Forgot to ask is there still a way to buy crypto or something i can turn into fiat paying with my monthly phone bill in Europe? Ifz double edged sword, but this is my life for now, and im trying to adjust it while holding my self from not completely losing my self.
Let's assume your story is true and you get a loan. Imagine how many others will create fake story and ask for loan. Eventually this board will become a spammers and scammers paradise.

Sorry we can not let this place to be a spammers paradise.

Maybe I'll create my own platform and offer maximum RTP to players and steal all their customers and bankrupt them instead Smiley

Thanks.

Will update you on my journey.
Many established betting company's owner have long history of gambling. I know few of them and all were high spenders but at some time when they were pissed with the similar behavior of the casinos they decided to have their own. Casino business is very profitable if you can do it right. You need a good amount in the bankroll to pay one or two big guy who may accidentally hit a life changing amount. It does not happen regularly though.

When you have your own platform then you turn into a bookie yourself. Gamble as much as you can on your own platform while you are making money from your clients.
1743  Other / Meta / Re: How many forum members do you know by real name? on: January 16, 2023, 09:38:16 AM
I know three users by real names. Unfortunately, they are inactive now and have disappeared from the forum. How about you?
Over 10 is really a very low number 😉
I know a handful number of users in the forum by their real name (if that's their real name that they said), very few trusted me with their living address. But I don't think none of it matters. End of the everything we know we all like to stay away from personal touch. Keeping it anonymous from each others.
1744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction touched forum users in a very sad way... on: January 16, 2023, 09:07:35 AM
Anyway, stories like the one present on this thread show us how gambling addiction can become a serious problem involving a lot of people besides the addicted gambler himself. Sometimes the person is blind by his addiction that he will do anything and everything to continue wagering. In this case the person stole funds, and in some more extreme situations the person can even kill!
I saw many people to sell their car, house, divorced their wife even abandoned their children and many bad ending of gamblers. I grew up in a place where young starts were addicted to weed, scamming, hijacking, killing each others, ending up jail. I knew exactly where I was going but it was no easy to control yourself unless family and people close to you support you. I was lucky.

Gambling is supposed to be a fun, an element of entertaining. But because there are money to lose and people don't like to lose money that they earned hard way, they starts chasing the lose. The chase never ends but at some stage they find that they lost everything. Some people thinks it's an way to make easy money. But it's not at all. A gambler always lose and the house wins always.

This is the reason why I will never invest in buying those Casascius coins... you just don't know if the creator of those coins has access to the Private key. They usually tell you that it is done electronically and that they have some kind of method that hides the Private key from the creator, but I think it is all bullshit.  Roll Eyes
I never looked at how the whole collectible coins work. But it could be done better than loading the address by the creator.
1745  Economy / Collectibles / Re: My Cold Keys Just Got Swiped! All Halving Sets!! on: January 16, 2023, 08:52:06 AM
He also borrowed money from me, and still owes me $1500 (+ interest). I had no idea he borrowed money from so many different people.
Sorry to hear that...I wonder how many more are out there! You should ask Loyce as he might have the answer to this.
Sorry, I have no data on loans. Common practice to avoid taking multiple loans is leaving neutral feedback until it's paid back, but in yogg's case, there's nothing.

To me it makes no sense to post a positive trust feedback saying you had a great experience buying a product, then posting a second, negative trust feedback that says you were robbed by the same person.
By leaving the positive feedback, it shows a timeline of events. Some people have removed their positive feedback already, yogg dropped from +33 to +24.

Quote
@LoyceV can you recall if yogg and or cygan ever posted in the numerous vanity wallet generation threads at all?
I don't recall, and can't easily check that.
Why there is no type two and type three flag yet? I suggest anyone who was involved in the direct trade to create a flag type 3. Currently it is showing the yellow warning and created by someone who is not directly effected by the scam. Yogg needs a bright red warning flag on his profile and every topics he created in trading sections.

A scam accusation topic is also needed. I am sure there are many users who do not visit the section don't know about it yet. If fact, I would miss it if I did not see a link in a gambling discussion topic.

Last few days I was not online.

I, Poker Player and many other members were regular in SWG o SwC poker back in the start of pandemic. I can not remember when did I add him (I think few days ago I did a revise, too lazy to check) but if I added him then it's a must that he was accurate in his feedback giving. People changes especially when they start tasting some kind of authoritarianship. I hope this is not the case for Poker Player.
1748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ballon d'or Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 15, 2023, 01:01:00 PM
I do agree that Messi had a decent year, and that world cup thing is definitely an important aspect of being a good player, being the best player in a team that won the world cup definitely gives you a chance. But at the same time, we are talking about being the best player for a whole year, and I think Mbappe was a lot better than Messi even though they lost at the finals.
It's hard to separate who is the best between MBappe, Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar and many more. Receiving an award is not just an individual performance but the team, country, club the player is associated with. Everything ranks up their public PR. Do you hear much name of Luka modrić or Robert Lewandowski? Because not many people from around the world is watching Croatian and Serbian leagues. As a county they are not as strong as Brazil, Argentina or France. Ronaldo made it exceptional for Portugal though.
1749  Economy / Collectibles / Re: My Cold Keys Just Got Swiped! All Halving Sets!! on: January 15, 2023, 12:33:36 PM
My knowledge about collectibles are zero. Always saw cool guys in the collectible sections, love each others and collect things from each others. They do free raffle, giveaway and many more things. One of the reason I never found the section interesting is because even if I buy anything I will need to provide my postal address to someone (I trust or not). I don't know if I should feel better for myself while I see many of you lost your coins because you trusted a trusted guy who had years of positive history on the forum.

But I defiantly feel better that I did not have to trust anyone and later to regret. Isn't bitcoin thought us to verify not trust?

For all who are in the collective section, this should be a lesson. You did not pay much for the mistake though.

So after all these years, yogg decided to sell his reputation for money. Sad as fuck.
And that's for $50k (I read it somewhere). What a fucking cheap price.

1750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction touched forum users in a very sad way... on: January 15, 2023, 12:22:21 PM

What Yogg need is the support from the people around him. Once he is sober then he can rebuild his career and settle all the debts. People are not going to trust him anymore but at least he can take steps to make things right.

Definitely yogg needs the support of his relatives, friends, and families, gambling addiction is hard to overcome since it is a serious condition that has a significant impact on the person's life. I hope yogg can be able to overcome his addiction and set things straight.

Yogg should have destroyed his copy of the private key so that he won't be tempted to steal the funds deposited at those addresses.  It is sad to think that yogg, being one of the most trusted people in this forum backstabbed the people who trusted him because of the said gambling addiction.

The problem is his malicious intent because he was supposed to destroy them and told the buyers that he did but it was a lie. I don't think that it's just addiction. Addiction leads to destruction of your own wealth. When it leads you to steal from others it makes you a criminal. He's not just another addict. He's a thief.

Since I follow the don't trust - verify rule, I'd never get caught up in this scam. I'd treat the item as a gadget, maybe an investment since they can go up in value.

Now it's a strange situation where on one hand these wallets were involved in a scam but on the other there won't be any more of them made so they could go up or down depending on the community's approach.

I am curious. In my life I never had an interest for collectible. The collectible section seems very interesting place for few members, not sure how large it is. When they buy a collectible, the address of the printed coin/metal/card is pre-filled with coins? Then whoever buy it, they are trusting the sender.

If this is the case then how it's even going with the concept of bitcoin LOL
1751  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are we legally associated with advertised services? on: January 15, 2023, 12:13:06 PM
I'm not into the law, and there might be differences in each country's legislation, but I'm concerned about this. Am I considered a co-worker of the services I advertise? If the authorities strive for shutting down one of these services in my signature and avatar, am I subjected to this activity as well? If the CEO of either ChipMixer or Betnomi (as examples) is proved to be guilty, am I guilty as well?
Let's say you are and the CEO of the projects were caught for illegal service providing. How whoever the authority it is, will find you. You are in an anonymous forum, most likely browsing using TOR. It's not easy to find you.

May be a lawyer will tell you better. But personally I do not care. I live free, die free. It's hard but bitcoin gave me an opportunity.

I am assuming this is the transaction from OP's wallet?

That address you mentioned has already received over 55 BTC. The person knows what he/she is doing.
I was checking the out bound transactions. It seems most of the out bound amounts have a pattern. 0.1180xxxx, 0.0990xxxx, 0.1190xxxx, 0.1200xxxx etc. Clearly he is using Mixer. Mixers are needed to break transactions but the same tool is helping scammers to hide their crimes.

Sorry for your lose OP. Let's hope it was not all that you had.

1754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 14, 2023, 05:24:40 AM
Come one Chelsea, all the time I go for a win for them and they lose. Totally disappointed. I was at the top 10, now moved to 14th position. Let's see what Liverpool do today. These days it's risky to earn points with them too.

There's a game tonight don't forget. 18 people still need to do their scores for it.
I thought I missed it last evening. Logged in and found I did not LOL

Here you are: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5434506.msg61586158#msg61586158

There is also one more post, few pages later, when someone else writes about his talk with Yogg.
I was browsing the board until the topic got my attention and then left a response for Yogg and others on that topic. It's really unfortunate and I can think how hard it is for a gambler to accept everything he lost and how he is destroying himself.

Long ago I was a gambling addict. My life was a disaster. At some point people who are very close to me they came forward to help me. To start I had to disconnect myself from all sorts of gambling websites, banned myself from all the local bookies. Then I was taken to a psychiatrist. The process was long but eventually I was able to give up the addiction. Those who follow me knows these days I do not gamble. do not even take free bets if I win from any competitions.

What Yogg need is the support from the people around him. Once he is sober then he can rebuild his career and settle all the debts. People are not going to trust him anymore but at least he can take steps to make things right.
1756  Economy / Collectibles / Re: My Cold Keys Just Got Swiped! All Halving Sets!! on: January 14, 2023, 04:47:10 AM
What a fucking nightmare. Yogg you are reading it even though you said you will never come back here. What a waste of everything earned in years, everything was done for bitcoin and the community.

I can imagine how it feels like, how it looks like, how it thinks like. I have been there but not as bad as you. I did not have to sell my house, car or business but things were moving that way that if in the right time I was not seeking help then I could lose everything.

Listen, nothing is too late. Everyone have family. Surrender to them and ask them to help you. It's a mental disease and it needs treatment.

If you want to to report this to his local authorities, you can contact the Rouen FR, Police Dept here:

[...removed to make it private..]

Thanks... & sorry, I'm just as pissed and angry as the rest of you, probably even more so... Sad
It's better to remove the personal information from here and post in it the investigation section.

I feel bad for everyone who lost value of their favorite collections.
1757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ballon d'or prediction thread 2022/2023 on: January 14, 2023, 04:33:08 AM
I mean, Messi won the world cup, right? Isn't that what this award is all about? It's not really a judgement of the player itself, it's what they've achieved. It sort of ignores individual qualities, and what they've done individually for that year, and only really rewards the players that have actually achieved something. Messi, obviously is one of the best players to play the sport, but ultimately winning the World Cup likely sealed the deal.
I heard in the commentary of the final match they were talking about it.
Argentina wins then Messi will get it but if France wins then it will go to Mbappé. Messi is the deal here.

I don't think these awards can define players like Messi, Mbappé, Christian Ronaldo, Neymar Jnr., Robert Lewandosk, Luka Modrić. All of them are great in their styles and achievements.

1759  Economy / Gambling / Re: Satoshi Auction - Bid on a prize where 98% of each bid is added to the prize. on: January 10, 2023, 05:46:43 PM
Bids don't accumulate. It just takes the maximum bid that you sent.
Interesting design choice, that makes it an entirely different game play. I expect people to be less likely to overbid by a tiny amount this way, but it levels the playing field for everyone: nobody can build on their previous bids.
Maybe, when your site has many active players, you can experiment by adding "accumulation games" to see which one is more appealing.
Accumulation means adding up with the previous amount?
In that case in a regular auction how do we play it? You call 2 then I call 3, then you call 4. Basically you are adding more 2 with the previous call. So it's accumulation. I was expecting the same but it seems it's not the case.
1760  Other / Meta / Re: Why are account farmers still left to roam free in the forum? on: January 10, 2023, 05:39:29 PM
Selling merit may seem bad but not forced to be prohibited. Only if a merit source found to be involved in selling merit then Theymos will remove him from the list.

Merit system was introduced 5 years ago, it's pointless now to continue talking about it. We accepted all pros and cons.

I know that it is not prohibited but they should be hunted down and negative tagged to stop such activities. I understand that the merit system is already old, I was an active member when it was first introduced and I understand all the pros and cons, but we need to keep filtering such stuff to further clean up the forum.
Feel free. I don't think it will make any change. Theymos himself forbid the community to tag anyone for merit abusing. Maybe you were there when the system was introduce but surely you missed the development or you wouldn't even create the thread. Get yourself upgraded LOL
