Why is grimace emoji not available as topic message icon?

Because you can't, i tried to create a topic in the latest version of smf^[1] which is v2.1.3. Emojis that can be used on topic message icon on the latest version is still the same on this old smf forum software, unfortunately.

I don't depend on the emojis forum has by default. You will find more than enough on emojipedia.

It's not possible to copy and paste an emoji from another site to the message Icon field, which I think was OP's interest.




OP. I think the reason for limited number of emojis available by default is probably for the sake of the forum's functionality, like loading speed. Imagine that drop down menu having over 50 emojis
