the breakdown has started.

Based on the isolated and linear notion of price action? Is there a reason you do not share details for your method of analysis?

don't be mad at me miscreanity.  its just that when i talk to you, it feels like i'm talking to the wall.

now that we're up and out of the bear flag we should start trending; you know, that everyday up a little thing with a down day every long once in a while.  LOL!
17404  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold: I smell a trap on: October 18, 2011, 07:20:50 PM
if you're a stock bear this should scare the shit out of you.  2 of the most bombed out sectors; financials and housing both doing an outside reversal on massive volume and with leverage.

what we're seeing is the Age of Deleveraging out of debt to equity investment; at least for the next few months.

USD's just pouring out of UST's and into stocks.

as long as $DXY behaves itself, this will go on for months.

OMG, this is beautiful. Cheesy
17407  Economy / Speculation / Re: Warning: How many of you Bears have ever been a victim of a Short Squeeze? on: October 18, 2011, 06:54:51 PM
i just want short sellers to realize that a short squeeze is a predatory manipulation meant to kill the short seller.  if there's money to be made doing it, it will happen.  and right now, there are alot of people offsides.

17410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chase Bank to offer deposits for MTGox on: October 18, 2011, 05:32:51 PM

When I get a check I deposit it by taking a photo of it w/ my smartphone so it seems kinda silly to have digital funds -> paper check -> postal mail -> smart phone deposit -> digital funds.  Grin

how do you do this?
17411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Media : Bitcoin is Done on: October 18, 2011, 05:29:19 PM
The Guardian article can't even get their numbers right; it never fell to btwn $1-2.

when its in your own best interest to get things wrong, you'll get them wrong.
17412  Economy / Speculation / Re: Warning: How many of you Bears have ever been a victim of a Short Squeeze? on: October 18, 2011, 04:20:08 PM
shorting it at 2.x is crazy...  the most you can make is 2.x ...  most likely .x

But long it could multiple if held long enough....

yes.  being short here could lead to infinite losses when the price turns up.
17413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $10,000 Bet that Bitcoins will outperform Gold, Silver by 100X !!! on: October 18, 2011, 04:05:14 PM
why wouldn't he be?  pm's have topped out and Bitcoin has or is close to bottoming.  the metrics for this trade have never been more favorable.  anyone taking this bet now would be crazy.
17414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chase Bank to offer deposits for MTGox on: October 18, 2011, 03:45:52 PM
Good luck keeping your account open without a FinCEN ruling excluding you from liabilities regarding reporting the personal information of depositors...

Double-huh?  You write your Mt.Gox account information on the deposit, Mt.Gox has all the information necessary to report to FinCen (because only upgraded Mt.Gox accounts can use the service) if required (if depositing more than whatever the daily/weekly FinCen requirements are, yada yada...).

What's up with the attitude Matthew? More ways to purchase bitcoin is a good thing...

i agree.  what is with the attitude?

17419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: GET OUT! on: October 18, 2011, 03:21:20 PM
Trying to predict where the price is going to fluctuate is fun and increases my investments, which of course will probably go back into btc.

So basically cypherdoc and I agree on that point but that's about it, he's just a dumbshit fanboy who can't help but make cheerleader posts and talk about the bad men.

ah, so i'm at least able to pull some positivity out of Stupid.
17420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: GET OUT! on: October 18, 2011, 01:56:00 PM
I believe bitcoin is in a decline, and will be in a decline for the near future.

It's the price of Bitcoin that's in decline.

The features of Bitcoin that make it a great alternative currency are still there regardless of price.

Also if your a speculator which some people are, then surely this is a great oppurtunity to go short ?

Obviously yes, I was talking about the price.  And yes I am a speculator, and no this is a bad time to short.  There will likely be a small bounce and some stagnation before the next crash.

since i'm so stupid and you're so smart, as well as a speculator, how about a bet?  $1000 that i think the USD price of BTC will be higher one year from now than it is today, the money to be held in escrow?

Roll Eyes  That's not how speculation works.   Besides, I have said before (I understand if you have problems retaining information) that I do believe bitcoin price may rise again, just that the price is declining and the bubble isn't fully over yet.

Furthermore, I make my market bets on bitcoinica and mtgox, not against random crazies on the forums.  Like I'm really gonna let my money sit in some escrow account for a year when I could be using it to make more money.

just another BadBear who has no conviction and isn't willing to put his money where his mouth is.  it IS an opportunity to make money, Stupid.
