Hey impee.
Need a bit more info. Your wallet certainly shows that you have that balance, but it's probably on a different address from the one you provided, which has a 0 balance. The first 5 tx times correspond with the ones made to the address. My immediate guess is that you used several addresses to receive and you also have default change addresses in your settings. When you made the spend, it emptied out the address you provided.
From the Electrum menu, select Wallet > Addresses. It should create a tab with all your addresses in the wallet, with corresponding balances. You should see a sum equalling 2088.73415

Just checking in to confirm participation. I'm okay with 0.01, no need to mess with the BTC amount, makes for a nice round number. Looks like we got an extra player for 21 so a nice 0.2 pot!
Also, repeating offer to work out the spreadsheet. I sent a sample with the schedule for first two weeks.

And then came this: http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-40826056According to BBC, Shapeshift had been alerted to this and frozen the accounts. I'm not sure if this only because of the alert and ends up being a good PR move. They could have conducted a sting operation instead if they really wanted to catch these blackmailers beforehand.

I definitely think that Segwit is already priced in, and has been for some weeks. This ATH had less to do with that than the fork. Four more days at least before SW locks in - we may see yet another ATH, provided BTC maintains levels above $3k. Any dip below that and SW will probably only restore the levels of this weekend. It would be nice to be proven wrong!

Previous to this, the big blockers had always seen missed deadlines as Segwit Supporters (I don't like the term but will use it as the article did) reneging on promises. But I'm not sure that even with Segwit2x there is any promise - rather a commitment to compromise. There is one more possible outcome I believe. Post SegWit, some would hope that a few from the big blockers side would be convinced that SegWit is enough and a block size increase not necessary. Perhaps they might switch sides, or at least further postpone 2MB? From what I can tell, there is a softening stance on both sides. I don't see any reason for this compromise not to take place, but assuming there are still plenty of reasonable people on both sides, you never know how the outlook could change after each step of the way. Things should get clearer after full Segwit activation. I'll check back when http://segwit.co/ says yes.

I'm going to assume that you did not get the numbers wrong here. Assuming your reward is profit. If so, then:
1. The reward for 10% does not match the risk. For a $10 wager at 10% chance, you should get roughly $80 profit (minus wager), depending on house edge. 2. The reward for 30% chance on a $30 wager should get you roughly $60 profit (minus wager).
So, Option 1 pays out $50/$80 = 0.625, Option 2 pays out $10/$60=0.166.
To sum it up, both options you have give you really bad deals. Extremely high house edge? But the option with the least disadvantage is Option 1.

Hi guys, what do you think of the rally for over the past week? our coin finally broke the 3000 threshold and it had a baby call BCC.
Do you think the rally will continue?
More like the other way round: It had a baby (or a sudden sprouting of an ugly Siamese twin) and then the rally came. I thought it would take at least a week before buying pressure mounted but the sell-off probably helped create a demand. I still think there's room for the slow burn that I initially expected. I believe this will carry it all the way to $4,000 by November.

If you really think there's a bit of future value, just hang on to your free BCH.
They didn't bother trying too hard to mask it as a speculative coin either. Didn't see any effort to rake in merchants. No visible outreach.
It's probably not going to be profitable for a while yet. They need more txs on board, they need more markets. Good price for an alt, but probably the most expensive alt to mine.

Why stop there? If the flag day fork in November is avoided $5 to $10k seems reasonable.
I said I'd post a special gif of myself once we surpass $3000, and this was quite some time ago (I think it was around the first time we hit 29xx on Bitstamp). Here it is: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fmedia1.giphy.com%2Fmedia%2FIcJ6n6VJNjRNS%2Fgiphy.gif&t=663&c=ntMt9C9iFmm0Nw) This week showed that whatever doesn't kill Bitcoin will only make it stronger. I definitely feel $5k is within reason, given everything that's already happened so bring on November! Special gif request please.

Well done to the winners of micgoossens's ATH contest, kudos for being correct with your predictions. Sometimes, being overly optimistic pays off eh? I don't really benefit much from new ATH so soon, but can't say am not pleased!

Can't say if a big ride is coming or not, but I'd be hard pressed to find a reason for even a substantial stoop. Bitcoin's been overperforming for so long now. The way it weathered ETH's threat and now this storm says a lot about its resilience.

Cute app ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) How about a more positive side of things and create a similar what ifs for coins that are dead today? Hint hint ponzi coins and hint hint yesteryear ICOs. Just need to ground the dreamers with a glimpse of the nightmares they avoided!

In a matter of hours, the price lost +50%. Give it a few weeks or a months max and you will see it nowhere on Coinmarketcap. Its destiny is the graveyard, I told it already, and I think I am ready to make a bet... 5$ max ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) So far I wonder why exchanges don't enable deposit and withdraw, or what exactly are they waiting? Via enabled the earliest but deposits have been enabled for more than 12 hours on Yobit and Bittrex, I'm pretty sure most others would have by now. With the former, they had an issue with address generation. Volume was really small during the highs anyway, so even if people had been able to sell off BCC early, wouldn't have had made a lot with small orders.

Welcome back guys! Just missed out on this bet... Score is currently at 3-3 at HT!
P.S. Seems to be some design updates to the Bitcoinrush sportsbook site... looking more like the Monsterbyte colour scheme. 1% tokens left to share, looks like they just about hit the nail on its head.

Hello minerjones! Thanks for the quick order, which arrived today. Don't have any frogs to own my dice but a very curious 13-yr old boy now has them and hears for the first time "Bitcoin". ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FzVN4kmC.jpg&t=663&c=_9VnIemsshwKug) Dice are of a good weight, solid finishing and the colour/pattern, as I had hoped, appealed very much to the recipient. The sticker was a nice bonus too, thank you!

what is happening with bitcoin cash is very different. the problem is with finding blocks. nobody is finding any in long intervals. there has been 1 hour blocks, there has been 13 hours too. and when nobody finds any block your transactions won't confirm! and the reason is because of the high difficulty and low hashrate (few miners are mining it). of course the difficulty was programmatically changed to fix it but it is not yet enough.
Thread from the mining section noticed a drop off in hashpower, speculated that miners were moving to BCC to try take advantage of the price. Doesn't seem to have resulted in BCC finding blocks faster though.

Got lucky on the Danish call, Austria will rue the silly penalty miss from early on. Drab game and penalty shootout win. But whoa for Netherlands! England seems to emulate the men's when it comes to choking on the big stage. Guys, it's got to be Netherlands winning their maiden championship.

I don't know if this is normal practice in "the West", but in Southeast Asia in at least two countries I've experienced, this happens:
When people are facing bankruptcy as a result of defaulting on bank loans or even credit card payments, it can happen that the bank forcibly deducts salaries paid into the bank account to help pay off debts. If, for some reason, some amount of cash enters into the account, it is also held. Customers can't access their funds until they agree to some sort of repayment.
It's a similar sort of situation, just situations switched.

One hour for BTC is great for me, I'm normally happy to wait but this is a different matter isn't it? Anyway, as mentioned, let's give it a chance to adjust difficulty. It's really early days yet. Can't wait for exchange wallets to be ready for deposits. Yawning hole there.
