Spiel/Wallet läuft aber sehr gut, ist also ein Problem auf deiner Seite (nicht bös gemeint )

"Waiting for Daemon" bedeutet, dass dein Wallet nicht mit dem Spiel verbunden ist. Also müsstest du erstmal dein Wallet auf Vordermann bringen. Und es ist ganz wichtig, dass du erst ein vollständig gesynctes Wallet hast, bevor du Taurion startest. Wallet version muss 1.2.4 sein.

Dann hast du eine veraltete Taurion Version (0.2.9). Wir sind mittlerweile bei 0.3.5, da während der Competition laufend Bugs entfernt werden und Verbesserungen eingebaut werden. Somit gibt es ca. alle 3-5 Tage eine neue Version, auf die man updaten sollte. Die neueste Version ist immer hier zu finden und wird auch in Discord/Telegram entsprechend angekündigt: https://taurion.io/tech-demo/ (zur Zeit ist die Seite down für ca. 30 Minuten).

Also falls du es nochmal ernsthaft probieren möchtest , dann empfehle ich folgende Schritte:

• Falls nicht schon getan: Wallet update auf 1.2.4 und vollständig syncen lassen. Wallet nicht schliessen - es muss immer laufen während Taurion.
• Alte Taurion Version deinstallieren.
• Löschen des Ordners "tauriondata" in c:\users\<user>\appdata\roaming\xaya-electron\tauriondata
• Download von Taurion Competition Build 0.3.5 und Installation
• Optional: Temporäres Abschalten von Antivirus/Firewall und Taurion als Administrator starten.
• Taurion starten und warten. Das Spiel muss erst syncen, der Fortschritt kann unten bei  "catching-up" verfolgt werden. Wenn vollständig gesynct, steht dort "GSP is ready".
• Dann entweder "select name", wenn du schon einen Namen in deinem Wallet registriert hast oder "add name", wenn du einen neuen Namen via Taurion anlegen willst.
• Wenn du "add name" gemacht hast, dann kurz warten und dann in "select name" diesen Namen auswählen. Das Spiel sollte dann kurz laden und du kannst loslegen

Die Competition und auch das Spiel an sich ist nichts für schwache Nerven btw. Gab schon einige rage quits, da pvp combat ein Teil des Spiels ist. Die Preise, die man während der Competition auf der Map findet, sind erst sicher, wenn man sie zu einer banking zone gebracht und dort entladen hat. Erst gestern wurden einem User $500 von einem anderen Spieler "geklaut", während er auf dem Weg zur banking zone war. Damit muss man rechnen und das muss man abkönnen. Genauso kann man anderen Spielern ihre Preise klauen, solange diese noch nicht "gebanked" wurden. So ist das Spiel (bzw. die Competition) und es gefällt nicht jedem. Es ist ein Strategiespiel und man muss auch rechnen und analysieren. Der Kollege, der die $500 in seinem Auto hatte und noch abgefangen wurde, hatte eine 8-Stunden-Fahrt vor sich und musste sehr gut kalkulieren, welchen Weg er nimmt, wie lange das dauert und wer ihn potentiell noch abfangen könnte. Er wurde dann von einem Mitspieler seiner eigenen Faction geblockt. Innerhalb einer Faction kann man sich nicht gegenseitig angreifen. Der blockende Mitspieler ist dann mit seinem Zweitaccount einer anderen Faction gekommen und hat den Preis geklaut.



In der Mitte das Fahrzeug mit dem Preis, geblockt von den anderen Fahrzeugen, so dass es sich nicht mehr bewegen konnte. Im Hintergrund der Obelisk, wo man hin muss, um seine Preise zu banken.

Taurion ist immer noch kein richtiges Spiel, sondern immer noch sehr rudimentär. Die Competition enthält ca. 10% des gameplays wie es bei full release sein wird.

Jo. Der Kollege, der hier, in 2018 war es glaube ich, von Preisen um und bei $0,1 gesprochen hat, wurde damals nur müde belächelt, aber im Endeffekt hat er mehr oder weniger recht behalten. Coordicide scheint sich ja durch das Jahr 2020 hindurchzuziehen (und vermutlich darüber hinaus ), somit sollte der Preis dann auch endgültig an dieser Marke irgendwann kratzen. Chapeau, hätte ich im Leben nicht mit gerechnet.


Das ist mMn nicht wichtig und wäre dann auch nur eine Randnotiz, für mich zumindest. Bitcoin und IOTA haben eine kleine Schnittmenge und IOTA ist einen anderen Weg gegangen und geht ihn nach wie vor, so dass ich einen Vergleich mit den anderen Projekten auf CMC nur schwer machen kann. Äpfel und Birnen.


Das wird denke ich nie kommen, zumindest nicht im großen, "universellen" Stil. Einfach aus dem Grund, weil a) die Oberen etwas dagegen haben und lieber ihre eigenen Online-/Kryptowährungen rausbringen und b) das breite Volk eher Lösungen nutzen wird, die ihnen von ihrer Regierung/Bank vor die Nase gesetzt werden. Mit allen eventuellen Nachteilen, derer sie sich nicht bewusst sind und wenn sie es sind, ihnen keine schlaflosen Nächte bereiten.

IOTA ist ja auch so angelegt, dass man es benutzt bzw. damit bezahlt, aber man es gar nicht merkt. Insofern freut man sich dann darüber, dass das Auto immer schön Dinge selbständig bezahlt, aber "Kontakt" zu IOTA wird man nicht haben. Und daher wird es in den Köpfen der Leute nicht drin sein und sie werden weiterhin in Euro oder Digital-Euro denken.


Blogchain bringt mich immer wieder zum Schmunzeln IOTA kommt mir oft wie ein wissenschaftliches Institut vor, die Papiere über Papiere veröffentlichen, aber am Ende kommt nichts bei rum. Mir ist schon klar, dass diese Arbeitsweise nötig ist, viel Zeit braucht und das Gebilde einer Stiftung derartiges Vorgehen bedingt, aber irgendwann will man auch mal Resultate sehen, die man als Nicht-Dev auch "anfassen" kann. Ellenlange theoretische Abhandlungen sind zwar nett, aber irgendwann sollte auch mal was handfestes kommen - zumal wenn man den Mund immer so voll nimmt und Zeitplänen und Versprechungen aus der Vergangenheit weit hinterherhinkt.

Bei aller - berechtigten oder unberechtigten - Kritik, bin ich aber nach wie vor auch von IOTA überzeugt und bin gespannt, was das "große 2020" für uns diesbezüglich bereit hält.

Markets just gonna do what markets do, but often times it feels like they do nothing at all in the end I hear rather lots of pessimistic voices regarding the halving; on contrary to the last halvings. This is possibly a result of the overall bearish mood among a lot of people. But I think, there is another good reason to be pessimistic.

China will be working towards a low price and keep on surpressing the price through the halving and thereafter. This will put a lot of smaller miners to work at a loss and force them out of business subsequently. China will be able to extend their monopoly through this and they will be looking to raise the price again afterwards.

So my guess for this competition is: $6001 - $6050

Bei den Unentschieden im FA Cup bin ich im Prinzip bei dir, weil die großen Vereine da ja oftmals ihre B-Elf spielen lassen. Andererseits kann ich mir dann doch nicht vorstellen, dass man sich dann auf ein X einlassen möchte, denn das würde ja ein Rückspiel bedeuten und ein zusätzliches Spiel mehr bei den eh schon vielen Spielen, die englische Teams absolvieren müssen (die auch international vertreten sind). Und wiederum andererseits sind Spieler, die sonst Bankdrücker sind, natürlich super motiviert ihr Können mal zu zeigen und sich ggf. für eine Vertragsverlängerung oder einen anderen Club zu empfehlen. DFB-Pokal finde ich schon schwer, aber FA Cup ist da nochmal eine andere Liga

Dieses Pokal-Spiel in FRA liegt mir auch quer im Magen - und die portugiesischen Spiele, hmm, na ja

For the poll I chose the Seahawks too. Looks like everyone and their grandmothers are on the Seahawks and the ML line has already gone down a bit. I think this could be a trap game and the line set by bet Vegas looks a bit fishy somehow. If the Eagles are able to advance somehow, I think it will be their defense that gets the win for them (FF's, INT's).

Over/under is always hard to predict. You often get two underish teams scoring like crazy against each other and then otoh two overish teams having kind of a borefest. O/U lines are normally somewhere between 40-50pts and that already tells you, how close it is. This is just 1TD+1FG difference, no matter who plays. Each game has its own dynamics, there is interceptions, fumbles, missed FG's, battles for field position, brainfarts, drama, missed penalties etc. So I rarely bet on points these days - and if do, it's just overs. I can't stand betting on unders.

My guesses:

Bills@Texans - under: I think the Bills will want to keep this one low-scoring, as this gives them a better chance to advance. Both teams had quite a lot of games this season, where they weren't scoring a lot and with so much at stake, I think both teams will want to control what is happening on the field (i.e. take care of TOP). Not very meaningful stat, but the H2H matches I could find, finished all under being played at Houston.

In a shootout I wouldn't be so sure about the Patriots winning. In a low-scoring game I would rate the Pats chances way higher and that is exactly what BB will be looking for imo. Not that he doesn't want to put up a lot of points, but the Pats offense just isn't clicking for the moment.

Vikings@Saints - over: I can see the Saints running away with the score here. They averaged 40ppg in their last four and I don't see the Vikings slowing them down a lot. The Vikings should be able to put up a few points themselves and with some vanilla defense from the Saints in Q4, this should go over in the end.

Seahawks@Eagles - under: Eagles are no scoring machine right now due to their injury troubles as we all know. The Seahawks haven't really blown out anyone this season. They won 27-10 at the Cardinals, but other than that they weren't able to win any game comfortably. The 17-9 win in regular season at the Eagles was actually the biggest win in terms of points they managed apart from the Cardinals game. They often won very close games with like 1-4 points. And I expect something similar here. Eagles can't score, Seahawks can't win comfortable, so under here.

Looking forward to the tennis season as well. Hard sport to bet on with very competitive markets, but lots of possiblities and very liquid markets. And you have matches nearly every day, so it doesn't get boring. Some time zone issues every now and then, but well, you can't have it all I gues. More a fan of WTA betting in the end, because it makes for more drama, brainfarts and bitchiness. ATP matches can get a bit boring, if you have two good servers.

I notice you didn't put any stakes; so you play flat stakes ? What bookies do you use ? You just do prematch betting or some inplay trading as well ? What are the players on your black list ?

Seattle is the only line that caught my attention too at a first quick glance at the odds. Not a whole lot of value there, but it's been some weeks since they beat a good team (@Bills). Their injury woes are just really bad right now, but still this will be no walk in the park for Seattle. And being so depleted can also do wonders to a team. The win at the Giants was already a bit wobbly, despite looking easy on paper. The fumble TD came just at the right time for them and Giants just folded afterwards. While I think Seattle will prevail, Eagles will give a good fight, so not sure if I will jump on them prematch.

Saints should take care of business against the Vikings. Patriots are priced quite high, maybe a bit too high. Patriots struggle, yes, but I just can't see the Titans leaving Foxborough victorious. They are no world-beaters. The most balanced game is Bills@Texans for me. If this would be played in Buffalo, you could probably just switch the odds. Home advantage very important in this one, so I see the Texans edging out the win.

Don't know why, but I just don't see the Packers doing anything in the playoffs. I didn't follow them a lot this season, but they strike me as very average this season, tough their record says else. If we indeed get a Saints@Packers game, I would be ultra curious how Vegas is pricing that one. Seahawks will be priced very high at 49ers as well and this should give a good opportunity. Back to back never comes easy.

Das war eine recht "einfache" Runde beim MultiMaster, der Gewinner hat 13 Richtige Und dahinter 18 Leute mit 12 Richtigen Von den 15 Spielen hat 12-mal der Quotenfavorit gewonnen, bei zwei Unentschieden (Tottenham, Southampton) und einer Niederlage (Celtic). Leicester war nach dem Ausfall von Vardy zwar auch nicht mehr Favorit, aber die ganze Woche über waren sie unter 2,0.

Meine Würfel-Kombi ist schön abgestunken, von den nicht gültigen Kombis hatte eine zumindest 12 Richtige.

I have put some bucks on the Giants now. As I wrote earlier this week, I expect the Eagles to struggle at MetLife today and offensively Wentz really has only few weapons with Ertz being out too now. Even if the Eagles lose, I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the playoffs anyway. With the circus division the NFC East has been this season, I can see the Redskins spoil the party for Dallas and Jerry as well. Lets see.

Tbh I would never base my picks on something like a poll, so I think this poll in here is just a bit for fun. You could actually use this poll (or any other public poll) as kind of contraindication I don't think there is something like swarm intelligence when it comes to sportsbetting. The overwhelming majority of betting people is losing longterm, so why would a poll give any +EV insight.

In general it's pretty hard (read: nearly impossible) nowadays to make any kind of money prematch in mainstream leagues. Markets have gotten so tight, every information is available with a few mouse clicks, news spread pretty fast, bookmakers have all statistics available, they have their own algorithms and AI. And the odds are centralized, with a few knowledgeable frontrunners and the rest just copying them.

The people I know, that are making a living out of sportsbetting are either covering non-mainstream leagues/sports (with low-ish limits) or are doing live betting/trading.

Regarding the Steelers@Ravens discussion, I don't think the Ravens are interested that much in the outcome. I can't imagine them or the fans caring too much about winning the last home game - they are in for something bigger this season. They would surely love the Steelers not getting into the PO's, but they don't even need to beat them for that to happen. If Titans win @Texans, the Steelers can do whatever they want and won't get in. And judging by the odds, it seems very likely for the Titans to get the W
Like in any sports, motivation plays a big role. Only point I could make for the Ravens in terms of motivation is their backups that will get a chance to show themselves. Some of these guys will want to prove themselves and maybe play for a new contract or get other teams interested in them. But 5-10 super motivated backups won't do anything, if the rest of the team just plays not to get injured. So these matchups - and we have a few of them today - are always tricky. The best advice is probably to just stay away from them or watch how things unfold live and place a bet accordingly.

Two reasons:

1) Taking advantage of deposit bonuses, freebets, promos etc. If you look around in the gambling section of bitcointalk, you will find gazillions of people being addicted to any kind of gambling. • Alter der Trainer: Älterer Trainer gewinnt. Liegt das Alter der Trainer weniger (oder gleich) als 7 Jahre auseinander, gibts ein X.
• Gesamtmarktwert laut Transfermarkt: Team mit dem größeren Gesamtmarkwert gewinnt. Liegt der Gesamtmarktwert weniger (oder gleich) als 25 Millionen auseinander, gibts ein X

Und dann mache ich noch paar Kombis nach Bauchgefühl, die ich hier aber nicht poste, um keinem die Chance zum Jinxen zu geben

Ich oute mich mal, dass ich nicht abgestimmt habe, wie in der Vordiskussion bereits angekündigt. Einfach aus dem Grund, weil es mir wirklich "egal" ist. Finde alle Kandidaten gut und geeignet, also würde ich entweder allen meine Stimme (geben wollen), oder halt gar keinem. Anders wäre es, wenn ich einen Kandidaten für ungeeignet hielte oder persönlich schlechte Erfahrungen mit der Person gehabt hätte. Dann würde ich abstimmen, um meine Stimme "gegen" diesen Kandidaten zu verwenden. Aber so alles tutti.

Dem zukünftigen Moderator wünsche ich auf jeden Fall viel Erfolg bei seiner - sicherlich teilweise nervenaufreibenden - Arbeit.
