1761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH to zero? This guy is dreaming! on: December 01, 2019, 03:55:51 PM
Well what's new about it! It seems like this person was just needed an attention or publicity from the crypto communities, All of he was saying are pure nonsense a stupid crap. so why we should mind that in the first place, we all know that if Ethereum or Bitcoin value becomes zero, It was mean that cryptocurrency industry is over. But as we see it today, It was continue to shine despite the weak market sentiment.
1762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just a question on: November 30, 2019, 03:54:47 PM
Can someone pls answer this question? presently the problem of decentralized exchange is liquidity and enough volume, if people start leaving cex for dex will the volume increase ? if Yes then what is stopping people? because dex exchanges is the perfect answer to stolen fund on exchanges and exchange scam exits
That's not an easy task to do. most people are using the centralized crypto exchange for the long time already, and It wasn't easy to till people to leave and stop using a centralized exchange in favor of using decentralized exchange. Dex is good but it needs time to accept it with everybody. for the meantime just simply use those trustworthy bearing Centralized exchange for your trading needs to avoid losing of funds.
1763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You think that governments might adopt cryptocurrencies to replace fiat currency on: November 30, 2019, 03:46:42 PM
Currently, in this day and age, all governments around the world have adopted fiat currencies as a means for its citizens to trade with one another and to trade with other nations around the world. However, would it be possible for in the future for governments around the world to create a cryptocurrency as a means of trade to replace fiat currency?

I can see that fiat currency has many flaws as all types of currencies before it, but with the new “government cryptocurrency” would it be able to solve the problems that fiat currency has and make a better economy? I’m not really sure myself as I can’t really predict the future.

Considering that fiat currency replaced all the previous currencies before it, would cryptocurrency replace fiat currency in the future?

I think both cryptocurrency and existing fiat money can be use in any form on every country if it was permitted by the government itself. cryptocurrency was using blockchain, and why the government didn't try to use the blockchain to make a digital form of fiat money? sounds good but its hard to do. I think the main reason why governments are dont like cryptocurrency because they consider it a treat to the existing system that they are using.

1766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain-based Elections? on: November 29, 2019, 11:28:02 AM
With the advent of smart contracts, it's possible to create decentralized applications which allow people to vote on candidates of their choice. The censorship-resistant and decentralized nature of Blockchain technology, makes voting online practical like never before. After all, it's nearly impossible to rig results in Blockchain-based elections.

Now, it's up to worldwide governments to decide whenever they'll adopt Blockchain technology or not in order to improve the way we vote. Ethereum is the best public blockchain that would serve the bill nicely if governments adopt it for elections. So far, I haven't heard of a government announcing Blockchain-based elections within the mainstream world. If this becomes a reality, I guess that there would be no need to vote for candidates of our choice in a physical manner, as everything can be done online. In the US, it'd be amazing to vote for a presidential candidate using Blockchain technology. The possibilities here would be endless. But it seems, that the government doesn't trust Blockchain technology yet.

Do you think that in the future we'll be able to experience Blockchain-based elections more thoroughly? Or is it a bad idea? What are your thoughts? Huh
I like that concept blockchain base election why not? Blockchain is very useful in election since it was promoting transparency and the transaction was broadcast to the entire network so it will be impossible to altered the results of the election. It was badly needed in my own country since every election it was shaded with doubt about the results. i'm excited to wait until make it into a reality.

1770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think crypto world needs... on: November 28, 2019, 06:59:00 AM
What do you think the crypto world needs at the moment? (I'm talking about projects)

In my opinion there is no real platform/website that offers everything you need. For example, news, some kind of trading tools or indicators, educational program maybe hot articles etc...

Most of the ICO projects and idea's nowadays are repeatedly use , it means that it was already been implemented at the moment most of the ideas are not original but just a mere copycats from other existing platforms, that's why for me nothing anymore to be added. the Cryptocurrency world was badly needed for a truthful regulation that can protect its investors and users from frauds and scams.
1771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💩 We are now in the “shitcoin” season? 💩 on: November 28, 2019, 06:49:23 AM
You must define first what was the characteristics of a "shitcoins" as we all know altcoins was the dominate cryptocurrency in terms of its number but in terms of the market capitalization no doubt it was bitcoin. But i was confused which altcoins are we calling a shitcoin nowadays Ethereum,XRP EOS are altcoins are they consider a shitcoins too!
1772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Upbit exchange was hacked. 342,000 ETH lost on: November 27, 2019, 02:39:40 PM
Its a bad news again! I hope it will not cause another dump? I was wondering why korean base exchange was always suffer from these unfortunate hacking incidents. I think its a high time to upgrade all of the current security protocols to avoid another incident like this. Why not using cold wallets instead of Hot wallet? Cold wallet is much safer so its a good choice to store most of exchange cryptocurrency holdings.
1773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The ridiculous projects of this year on: November 26, 2019, 10:54:49 AM
Now 2020 is already getting nearer i want to know which projects are the most ridiculous this year, either through investing or bounty hunting, for me its BlueNote, a bounty project from a well known bounty manager called 'Arteezy'. With due respect Arteezy have conduct good bounties as well like tokoin among others, What about you?

NOTE: do not rely on bounty managers when selecting bounty projects, do your own research
As we all know 2019 was not a good year for the most ICO projects, as well as for Bounty Hunters, Since most of the projects are not successfully raise its needed funding so it was failed, Because it was failed the Bounty hunters are not getting paid, All of the sweat and effort was vaporized. But some projects are successfully raised some money for funding like you are mentioned," Tokoin hype is getting much attention from the investors that's why it was successfully finished the campaign with flying colors.
1774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: November 26, 2019, 10:40:44 AM
As information from CZ: 1.2 billion dollars BNB is transferred in 1 second, which takes less than 2 cents

On June 26, about $ 1.2 billion Binance Coin (BNB) was transferred in 1.1 seconds, for a fee of only $ 0.015 on Binance Chain, disclosures of this data were published on WhaleAlert , a platform that tracks important transactions. The exact amount of BNB transferred is 32,888,888. As a Twitter user pointed out, 8 is a number unlike anyone in Chinese arithmetic, quoting Wikipedia: "Number 8 is considered a good number that even some 8s are considered is very lucky ".

With such successes do you think BNB will become the All coin king?
For me that's a huge achievements of the Binance chain, having successfully sent that massive $1.2 Billion dollars worth of  BNB's in just 1.1 seconds that's pretty fast for sure, But it doesn't mean that BNB will be de throne Bitcoin as the "King of Cryptocurrency" don't under estimate the power of Bitcoin Network, It has a secret weapon to catch up with the fastest Blockchain in the industry, and it was the Lightning Network so keep watching and it might be lunched soon.
1775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin Dominance Has Topped then Ethereum Will Blast on: November 25, 2019, 03:52:53 PM
Eth will rise as part of the new alt season, eth 2.0 has failed and delay another 9 month. Also dominance chart not a trading chart I'm not sure but some people call that critical support . what do you think?
Bitcoin dominance will stay remain no matter what happen, Its the king cryptocurrency and the pioneering one, in the crypto market. I'm a huge fan of Ethereum and i strongly believe that Ethereum will rise sooner and it will lead the top altcoins in the market. But its the trend that dictates (*support from the community) not about the delayed implementation of Ethereum 2.0, Its the community who was driving the trend and If the Bitcoin will be topped soon, I might Guess Ethereum will follow the same trend and same for other alts too.
1776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reality of some Deflation tokens on: November 24, 2019, 02:03:19 PM
Deflation tokens also known as self destroying tokens are quite a new entered concept in crypto where supply decreases with the time and price is speculated to go higher if demand remains at least the same.
For example BOMB.
BOMB is one of those deflationary tokens where there is no real product and admins are just hyping the token over the concept of deflation. Have a look at twitter handle
twitter.com/bombtoken
Point for all the talk is these projects are just a waste of time and funds if you dont have any real product and rely on just creating hype.
And another lesson is these things cannot work and this concept is failed with no real product.
That's true how can you choose to gamble on experimental token like "Bomb Token" its risky because its just an experiment and no guarantee or value. in other words its a hallow project, Bomb was created for an experiment purposes on how deflationary token works. no product, no use case and no development it means nothing.

1778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs/IEOS/STOs generating funding in 2019? on: November 23, 2019, 11:34:25 AM
Are token sales pulling investment still, or is it dead?

Sources to facts and stats to support opinions would be great
According to some shared statistics if its proven truthful. some ICO's are still able to raised some money, But its just a small amount comparing before, But in IEO's those projects that listed on a well known exchange like Binance, Kucoin was able to raised much funds and sold its tokens in seconds, for me its quite impressive achievement so far. But in STO i don't think its still alive or its just not publicized form of fundraising.
1779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listed exchange matters on: November 23, 2019, 11:23:56 AM
For every bounty hunters who are tired of new bounty projects that ends up been a total garbage after they are listed on exchange pls do find yourself some time and do research on past bounty projects because the Exchange they used for IEO matters alot, that exchange is where they will list after bounty ends, i haven't seen a bounty project that get listed on Kucoin and Gate that is not profitable, in terms of good volume or even 2x+

I have learnt a lesson here again, have you? top exchange matters especially in this bear market, look at all the bounties listed on p2pb2b, exmarket etc  Cheesy
IMHO! exchange really matters, agree! but how it was really matters if the bounty tokens are locked for 6 months to 1 year,? even if it was a well known exchange like you mention (kucoin Gate) it will end up nothing if was unlocked after 6 months or 1 year. as we all know price are not stable after it was listed it keeps falling day by day. Did you notice it most of the bounties nowadays has creating a new norms changing the rules after the bounty end, Locked the tokens and unlocked it when it was worthless! let me say that bounty hunting nowadays was changing a lot and it become worst. that's why before you join you can ask the team via its telegram about the bounty payment arrangement, if it was locked for a specific period its up to you if you join But for me i never join in those bounties  it just a waste of time.
1780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your best investment in crypto since 2018 on: November 22, 2019, 10:31:44 AM
Hello Bitcointalkers,
What is your best investment in the crypto space since 2018? As the 2019 year is ending, so, we can have a discussion about it. For me, my best investment was the Counting House ICO in 2018. The sale price was 1100 CHT token for 1 Ethereum and later it's price hit more than 3 USD per coin. I am still finding a project like Counting House, but haven't seen yet.
