1761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Realizing the value of holding cash on: November 01, 2022, 08:11:09 AM
There are so many people during bull runs that run out of cash because they like to buy all they could buy to ride the wave, which results with them losing a lot of money when the crash finally starts, it could go up a lot, and I mean A LOT, but eventually it will go down, so having a little bit of your profit cashed out could benefit you.

Same people sell a lot during bear run, whereas you should have cashed out at the bull run to take profit, and during the bear run when its low like this, you should go out shopping. Its low right now, and everything is looking delicious to me, I am running out of money from buying all these amazing coins and tokens, because I know they are at the bottom.

Have cash after you profit a good sum, but do not have any cash during bear run and buy it all.
They are newbies who don't know how crypto market runs, when ever a bull market is alive its not the time to start buying unless you are investing on a new project that just launched and you are one of the few that get into the project very early, also it's wise to take profits as more people gets in..

A bear market is for buying and holding, A bull market is for selling and taking profits, if this doesn't sink into anyone's brains they will be doing everything wrong.
1762  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stupid or Not on: November 01, 2022, 07:11:06 AM
The best solution is to have a wallet where you only send tokens and coins to, for a long-term hold, you won't be sending your assets out until the day.

Now have a separate crypto wallet for connecting to dex and joining airdrops/testnets, you will be safe since this wallet will always be empty.

Having more than two wallets is like expanding your risk because you have to safely secure their recovery seeds.
1763  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: THE UNNECESSARY PRESSURE FOR MERITS on: November 01, 2022, 06:27:31 AM
The truth is always bitter

The reason why there is pressure on merit system is because some people are joining this forum to make money, some are referred by their friends but it's all about making money and the only way to get this up and running is by earning merits by all means possible, this is the truth that few people are going to ignore but I will say it anyway.

I have seen a high rank member sending me a PM to send them merit and they will return the favour, if merit is nothing to take seriously why are they doing this?
1764  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchange platform with lowest fees on: October 30, 2022, 09:34:29 AM
Strangely, nobody is talking about Dex, Isn't Dex suppose to be the most cheapest way of buying crypto coins? I use DODO Ex and Metavault trade because they scan for the cheapest transaction, I know there are other good alternatives out there but I like prefer these two.
1765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I predicted Chainlink, Pancake and many others right. Heres my new prediction on: October 29, 2022, 04:47:38 PM
Chainlink did so well for early adopters but what makes you think that this modefi will do so well like Chainlink? Do you know how many new projects are like modefi? Tons of them OP.

Doxxed team members don't mean the project will succeed, even if they have all the money it's still risky to bet on the project, it's why we should never put all eggs in a basket. Modefi might look good today but its success tomorrow remains a mystery.

1766  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to guide a 10year old on the blockchain journey? on: October 29, 2022, 07:01:51 AM
Do not force the kid yourself, if he is smart with computers then he can be a programmer one day, forcing him to go blockchain can shake that dream out of him, one step at a time OP one step at a time, with Kids there is no need to rush anything, when the time is right he will know about blockchain and make a choice himself.
1767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the value of SANTOS token increase? on: October 28, 2022, 09:29:18 AM
Santos Token doesn't go up when Bitcoin surges, this token likes doing things on it's own, I think you should be aware of this.

June 2022 was the best time anyone should have buy Santos Token, it was trading for 3.5$ at the time and now it's 11$, I think buying now is too high risk.

World cup is coming, Projects like Santos Token and others should appreciate in value.
1768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on GemPad on: October 28, 2022, 07:40:59 AM
I'm just hearing about this project for the first time and I've checked the project out, I am surprised that a launchpad still have some new projects running on its platform right now, I am a fan of seedify and makerDAO because they don't introduce crap projects, they are better than Gempad, liquidity and volume wise Gempad has failed.
1769  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what happens to bitcoin if the electricity and internet goes out.? on: October 27, 2022, 04:43:09 PM
If you meant literally 100% no internet and electricity, then Bitcoin would halt — as well as the banking system, the world wide web, and a lot of other things that could be far more important than Bitcoin. Bitcoin would probably be the least of your problems in such a scenario.
We are now in a world of green energy, if I can run my BTC node on solar energy then I can still make transaction for myself, the halt will not be worldwide, only those how have no electricity will be affected, correct me if I am wrong with this idea.
1770  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some coins or a hardware wallet? on: October 27, 2022, 03:10:14 PM
Since your uncle is a trust wallet user then he knows how to operate a hot wallet, I believe gifting him a hardware wallet will do, the danger of using a hot wallet is high compared to using a hardware wallet. A hardware wallet all the way.
1771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100X Altcoin for the next Bull run on: October 27, 2022, 09:20:35 AM
This topic is created to shill jobchain project it seems, coming from a newbie I think going for such project is the last thing you should be doing right now, why not look into metaverse project with good use cases? Web 3.0 and Metaverse projects will take the lead next bull market.
1772  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Problem posting images on: October 27, 2022, 08:44:18 AM
OP things will be easier for you if you can download imgur app on your phone, this is what I use for any image related posts, go to Google playstore and search for imgur app or go to https://imgur.com and you will see Get App by the right down of your screen, it will direct you to download link.
1773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins and Memecoins on: October 26, 2022, 04:44:36 PM
At this point in time I refuse to believe that meme coins are shitcoins, not all meme coins are shitcoins, if you can do your own research you will understand that some meme coins are now having useful utilities and they are doing well even in this bear market, this is something many people don't want to see but the prove is up on coinmarketcap, projects like Doge coin, Shiba inu, Baby Doge have better liquidity and Volume than many coins and tokens that aren't meme coins.
1774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will This Habit Lead You To Chase Your Losses And Addictive To Gambling on: October 26, 2022, 11:31:09 AM
Do you think it's unhealthy to always post your winnings on social media and forums because this habit will lead you to chase your losses and bet more so you can post your winning, I find this habit forming and this is bad especially if people are following you and always looking forward to your winning posts.
There are different reasons why anyone would do this..

1. The person might be doing so to promote the gambling website, maybe the dev are paying him or her.

2. The winnings might not be genuine, they might be doing this to lure people like you who can't take their eye off others winnings online.

Also someone talking or posting their winnings doesn't mean they will end up losing I have never heard of such before.
1775  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want the best hardware wallet on: October 26, 2022, 09:10:11 AM
The Ellipal Titan is the best hardware wallet, do not let anyone tell you something else, I've watched countless of YouTube videos about the best hardware wallet and nothing beats Ellipal Titan, it looks more like an Android phone and it's more easier to operate than the rest, security wise it's even better, do your own research using Youtube or Google search engine.
1776  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I like a post/comment on: October 26, 2022, 08:47:48 AM
You can't like a post or comment on this forum, it's way different from Twitter and Facebook, if you want to show that you like a post or topic you can send them a merit but looking at your profile you are still new on here, you will have to create good posts and get smerit first before you can merit someone else.
1777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto-assets can have significant environmental impacts on: October 26, 2022, 05:47:56 AM
Banks around the world uses more energy than the entire Bitcoin mining farms worldwide, those who are trying to make BTC looks like a destroyer of mother earth are just haters, BTC mining hurts nothing in this world and now we have green energy too and this is what I am using now that mining is not that profitable like before. Let's stop this hate.
1778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won 9600$ in dice by mistake on: October 25, 2022, 05:12:02 PM
Congratulations, my advice is take your profit and leave the platform, if you want to gamble on this website again make sure you use very little amount, there is no way you are going to ever win like that again, not using 200$ to win 9000$+ that's certain, erase greed and enjoy your reward.
1779  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of fake Coinmarketcap! on: October 25, 2022, 04:20:12 PM
Lol, there's no reason why we need to connect Metamask or Walletconnect since Coinmarketcap isn't an exchange. If the phishing site didn't ask to connect a wallet and only allow user to sign in their Coinmarketcap account, many newbies will get tricked since it's same like the official site. I think if there's a newbie get phished in this site, they're don't have any brain to thought before randomly give access their wallet.
You are wrong, I have my metamask wallet connected to coinmarketcap website for airdrop participation and also to claim free NFTs using CMC Diamonds, I have over 2800 Diamonds on the platform and I can use it to claim some free spot/NFT or tokens in future.
1780  Other / Off-topic / Re: What about a smartphone keyboard on: October 25, 2022, 03:31:53 PM
Always stick with Stock OS that comes with your smartphone.

Do not download keyboard app on playstore some of them will store the words you type through them.

Avoid unlocking your phone through Rooting process, many do this but they don't know how dangerous a jailed broken smartphone is.
