1761  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: January 17, 2023, 10:34:19 PM
I'm not very sure about this post, but I believe we might be starting to be in the part of the bear cycle when it's time to BUY EVERY DIP, and HODL. Although, I'm not very confident because of Macro Economic considerations, like Deflation, which could be coming between the start of the second half of 2023 and the end of 2023. But whatever path you decide to take in your current Bitcoin journey, DON'T BE HIM!

 Cool
Well let him be with all his doubts at this time because this will only make us lose if we are really affected by something like this.
Keep our minds healthy no matter what happens because selling at a loss is not something that has to be done especially with the current conditions.
btw I have pretty good pictures for the depiction which I think is pretty good at the moment.

Though this thread is not about trading but the statement of this thread encourage people for buying and holding Bitcoin. But in real life (everyone situation/condition), is it really possible for everyone? I don't think so and in my opinion
Isn't that back to self-choice.
In the end it is us who decide whether we are still able to be here or not. Many people always suggest buying and investing with cold money, which means that the money is not used for a certain period of time so that we are more comfortable without thinking about future conditions.
As for in the end, you are not too able to hold it, so let it go with a note, don't when you are bearish and in a loss situation, because what are you releasing your bitcoins for when you are experiencing a loss. wouldn't it just be a waste of your holding up to this day if in the end it is sold for a loss.
1762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 17, 2023, 08:46:06 PM
Yes, I quite agree with you on this. Manchester City will definitely not be playing under pressure at their game with Tottenham. Manchester City under Pep, has always been playing beautifully and tirelessly till the end of any game. They play with so much composure that I doubt they would be easily rattled by an opponent.
They certainly do bounce back from any bad spell they may face and I think they still have a good chance of catching up to Arsenal at the top of the league table. I have little doubt that they would come out victorious.
It would be funny if they played under pressure, especially with the defeat they received last week, that's no reason that they will be under pressure in this match.
Manchester City is still Manchester City, regardless they are a strong club with all the star players.
Pep just needs to get back to winning ways in this match and 3 points is a set price for now especially I think with the defeat in the previous derby they will be more motivated now.
1763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My First Bitcoin on the New Year Day 2023. on: January 17, 2023, 08:24:02 PM
But is that even possible? I mean as a newbie in any things that we do, we can't always avoid to commit a mistake but that was fine. Selling our coins at an early period of time to earn a small profit isn't even considered as a mistake. This is why there are short term investors and traders.

What is only wrong is if they buy at high and then they sell at low because they will surely lose that way but again it is part of being a newbie. They will soon realize that this was a mistake. If we are serious about long term investing then we shouldn't touch our assets or the money that we already allocated for it but we should set aside for our personal use too.
I think in this case we should be able to determine our goal in the end whether to be in long term investing or just day traders.
Even though the conditions are slightly the same, the path taken is clearly different in this case.
When we focus on daily trading, maybe you should pay more attention to the conditions where the market is currently fluctuating and this can't be done by just studying one to two days, it's different from long-term investing. the simplicity is still the same as buying at a fairly cheap price like now and holding it until the time period we specify.

If you find more of this, please post them here as examples.
Sorry in advance, are posts like this really allowed?

I don't really understand the language the OP uses, but if you look at the post, most of it is like that, even though there are a few quotes there as well as a few pictures, but looking at the whole it looks like you will understand what I mean.

1765  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC bulls back? on: January 16, 2023, 10:44:01 PM
Regardless of whether this is a bull trap or indeed bullish, now it has happened, I think it doesn't really matter.
Maybe for some people this is important but I personally don't feel like it's now something that really interests me because regardless of anything as long as they haven't touched $30k I think it's still worth it.
As for the steps taken now, it's clear that I will do the same as before DCA and continue DCA until the conditions really become bullish and pass the $ 30k mark, regardless of future conditions whether it will return to $ 16k or worse than that, I'm not too sure I don't care, I'd be happier if something like this could still happen.
1766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 16, 2023, 09:21:21 PM
It was very difficult to get 3 points from Tottenham.  Arsenal managed to do that.  With this win, they have taken a very important step.  Getting this away win was even more important.  It was an unfortunate match for Lloris, and he inadvertently made a mistake in conceding a goal.  Now there is a big difference between them and Arsenal.
No doubt a tough challenge for the leaders which give them full three points and now lead is almost eight points from the second spotted Manchester City which is going to be good for them and pressure is on Manchester City because they are suffering from poor run and lost five points in four games after the break.

Tottenham having three London derbies in last four matches and able to won just one point with now after break they are also suffering and now staying at the fifth spot which is surely setback for the Conte and rest of the team because before break they were doing impressive job and staying at the third spot but suddenly things going on wrong way for them with next match is against Manchester City which is also looking for the positive way and this can bring more problems for the Tottenham.
But on the other hand everything is still possible for some surprises.
In fact, we saw a surprise in the previous game. Even though Tottenham haven't had a good performance so far, but when they can take advantage of counterattacks like what Manchester United did before, I think this could have other possibilities for Tottenham, even though at this time Manchester City clearly has a very clear advantage.
1767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be banned or stopped by governments on: January 16, 2023, 08:16:10 PM
Even if it's like that, it's not a guarantee that they will ban it forever.
We may even know how many times there have been some regulatory changes to legalizing or illegalizing bitcoins in recent years.

As for those who have bigger economic conditions I think as long as they have the thought of buying bitcoins at cheap prices why not because regardless of what I use your words even though in China it has been banned but there are still a handful of people who are still in Crypto and it is possible that there will be several people with high ranks not because we also don't know what is there as a whole because information about China is sometimes always limited.

I believe all governments will not be able to ban bitcoin forever, including China. Simply because of taxes, with the rapid growth of bitcoin, it is almost certain that bitcoin will grow bigger and bigger, and if they still want to continue to ban it, it will only take more effort, time, and money. Meanwhile, they can legalize and regulate it so they can earn a huge tax. Whether bitcoin is good or bad in the eyes of the government, it is less important than the tax they will collect from it.
I thought so too but indeed for now it seems a bit inconvenient because when there is fud it is clear that China has always been the country most often in my opinion making some things that can actually have an impact regardless of anything.
But on the other hand see some discussion about china like the thread Bitcoin & China time to time waving History
Quote
the high cost of electricity for the miners and discouraging new firms in this field are unsatisfying. China always manipulated and triggered some policies on Bitcoin during the bull run. China was 50%+ Mining Hub of the Bitcoin network but due to time-to-time, changes in policies currently china is contributing 22% to the Bitcoin network.
With such a high mining rate for them I think china is still a bit wary of the electricity supply they are spending even though it's clear the taxes are going to be something profitable and I think even if they re-legalize bitcoin in the end their manipulation will still be the same as year after year previously.
1768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My First Bitcoin on the New Year Day 2023. on: January 15, 2023, 09:53:55 PM
I was surprised to see my 0.00031254 bitcoin to be soaring when I converted it to the Fiat currency yesterday. What a nice move. I am still planning to buy more this week. According to stories, bitcoin had changed and touched many lives. The soaring really motivated me. I was very much Happy that I didn't waste my money in any other thing but in bitcoin which I will be reaping to my satisfaction in 6-7 years to come

Bitcoin is the best
Good choice.
This must be done even though now the price has started to turn green but for DCA in this case it is still worth it.
I'm also still doing this in the last few months and this week it's still the same as usual regardless of how much it costs as long as it's not $ 30k so I think this is still very worth it to keep buying even though in this case there are still many people who keep saying they will waiting and waiting which is not very certain though.
1769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 15, 2023, 09:20:52 PM
-snip-
Real Madrid is 2 goals behind Barcelona at the moment in the first half. Obviously this is the fault of Madrid's defense. Barcelona played well in the first half and as a result they managed to create some good chances to score.

I hope Ancelotti can rack his brains to change the game strategy in the second half because I think in the first half they were too bad. I remain optimistic about Real Madrid in this game, we still have the second half. It's not an easy job after going 2 goals down, but I think we can do it.
The match was over and Madrid had to accept the fact that now they lost by a score that was actually quite striking.
My expectations were too high with the composition of the Madrid players in this case so I had to accept the fact that I had to lose the bet.
The performance of the two teams is actually still very good but seeing from their condition, Madrid really made a lot of unnecessary mistakes so that Barcelona took full advantage of it. Congratulations to Barcelona for their trophy after so long several seasons always absent in lifting the trophy.
1770  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Btc get to $12k or $10k on: January 15, 2023, 09:01:09 PM
I don't like to speculate on this because I'm just going to continue to enjoy the current flow, whether it's a temporary increase like now or it does come back down to the price you said I don't really mind about that at the moment. Instead of speculating on very old stuff I prefer to focus with my DCA on this as I really think it's still very useful to me. because at this time, rather than waiting a lot, it's better to buy a lot Cheesy

My take: BTC will be somewhere between $500 and $1,000,000 at the end of the year.

Source: trust me bro
Let me check my crystal ball and I'll get back to you.  Cheesy
btw I am amused when I read this lol
1771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 15, 2023, 07:42:37 PM
They always do the same strategy by only making defensive schemes and taking advantage of counterattacks. against Barcelona this was indeed quite good because Barcelona played attacking but when facing a team that was actually under them like Almeria it was clear this was not the right thing to use this scheme.
Unfortunately this match destroyed my multi bet. Angry

It's true that Atletico Madrid only took advantage of the attack again but they weren't able to press the same as the game with Barcelona, was it because Diego Simeone's strategy was no longer effective enough, after I noticed when playing big teams Atletico were able to perform well but when playing with a team under Diego Simeone's troops also not so optimal.
Maybe what you said is true Diego Simeone did the same scheme again.
I avoided betting on this match because sometimes for Altetico things like this can happen.
If it is said that Simeone's strategy is too monotonous in my opinion and always does the same scheme regardless of who the team they are fighting against.
For some strong clubs like Barcelona or Madrid maybe this has an advantage. But when facing a team that incidentally took advantage of a big team for a draw it was clear that it was a loss because Almeria knew they also had to secure points so they continued to be careful in attack and Atletico only focused on their defensive area as without having the desire to score additional goals because they were only focused survive hoping Almeria attacks with full force.
1772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 15, 2023, 05:22:41 PM
I do not understand why Atletico Madrid is so unstable, and it happens all the time. In the previous match against Barcelona they played well, although they lost that game. But now against Almeria, why do they play so badly? They also got a red card. I guess Atletico was lucky that they didn't lose this game at all.
They always do the same strategy by only making defensive schemes and taking advantage of counterattacks. against Barcelona this was indeed quite good because Barcelona played attacking but when facing a team that was actually under them like Almeria it was clear this was not the right thing to use this scheme.

btw a little off the mark because I'm going to talk about the final which is about to happen.

SOURCE

It seems that Madrid really intend with the final that will be done today because they come down with a complete set of players.
1773  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did Miss El Salvador cause the Bitcoin price to spike last night? on: January 14, 2023, 08:53:32 PM
I don't think so, indeed in this case it's a little surprising when the miss who represents El Salvador really amazed me by daring to make a bitcoin-themed concept but I think it's not a suitable thing to see bitcoin now being lifted.
The condition and the news about the statement from the CPI and the US's announcement of its inflation data has lifted this, I think.
1774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 14, 2023, 04:32:50 PM
Manchester United gave a good fight to Manchester city despite that the opportunity that was gotten by Rashford was not utilized well in the first half but that is football you make mistake to learn is only when you always repeat the same mistakes that you are tagged an unskillful and bad player, manchester city got the total possession of the match but the fail to defend the first goal the scored in second half which caused them the victory, the rate at which Manchester United aqualized the game was surprising, congratulations to Manchester United for a well deserved winning.

Manchester United are back in the fight for the Premiership title and from their performance today I think it would take only Arsenal to stop them from winning the title. It was a massive defense and a massive attack strategy and it was very effective. Erik Ten Hag's team was always marking the Manchester City players that they had little chance or space to make an impact in the match.

I thought the coach would have substituted Marcus Rashford after it seem he had picked up an injury. But the coach still had confidence in him and it turned out to be the avenue for their victory. Rashford is gradually entering into the same history books as some of United's great strikers like Rooney and Ronaldo.
This was quite an astonishing match because Manchester City was destroyed in just 3 seconds.
Actually, I'm the favorite for Manchester City in this match and I'm quite happy when I see the score is already ahead for them.
But those hopes were dashed by a goal from Bruno which was followed by Rashford 3 minutes later. This is a bit not so good for Manchester City because regardless if Arsenal come back to win against Tottenham, they will be further away.

Btw at this time Liverpool is still a clown again it seems. 75 minutes to go but they are still 2 goals behind.
1775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be banned or stopped by governments on: January 14, 2023, 04:17:29 PM
Well, isn't it already in some countries that prohibit it but for now bitcoin still exists and I think this is only made to make it as fud and does not rule out countries that prohibit it only to weaken it in terms of price so when it goes down they can buy it pretty cheap and re-legalize it.
We already know several examples such as China which continues to try and even change regulations regarding legal and illegal several times but still things like that don't really have much effect on crypto lovers because developments on this matter are still ongoing and bigger.

China has completely banned bitcoin, but there are still many Chinese investors who are still active, there will be people who are against the ban even though they are not the majority.

Today, the market is recovering, and the total market cap has just reached 1 trillion, and the capitalization of bitcoin is over 300 billion. It can be said that this is too small a number for a national economy like China, bitcoin capitalization is smaller than 1 of their business, so there is no reason for them to bother finding a ban and legalizing it just to buy cheap prices. Bitcoin is not big enough to impact a large country economically.
Even if it's like that, it's not a guarantee that they will ban it forever.
We may even know how many times there have been some regulatory changes to legalizing or illegalizing bitcoins in recent years.

1776  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Updated] FTX on: January 14, 2023, 02:42:56 PM
They are now not colleagues and of course saving yourself is still possible because indeed in this case the difference of opinion between the two of them makes this drama even bigger, of course.
On the other hand, as for SBF, who is now bringing in bigger lawyers, of course to make himself really strong because if he loses, it is clear that several more people will be dragged away, of course in this case his family also does not rule out being dragged along and for To minimize this, there must be a strong defense to defend his argument to the end.
Honestly, Caroline and Wang need to work hard on saving their ass because the way this FTX case is going I don't see SBF going to jail although he may be penalized in the end but the penalty won't worth the damage is done to the FTX customer let's not forget that his father is also a good lawyer, he also hired a powerful lawyer and backed by some powerful people.
In the meantime, let's wait and see what will happen when his case continues since $5Billion have being recover.

I don't think they did this to make them completely free because in any case their sentence was waiting for quite a long time if I saw from some of the news I read.
Quote
Together, the seven counts carry a maximum sentence of 110 years in prison.
Source
With those who are currently cooperative, the hope is that they will receive the leniency of their sentence so that they are not imprisoned for that long because this is like spending the end of their age there.
As for SBF, I actually feel that with his current condition he still won't be able to say he is completely right and I actually hope he is cooperative and doesn't prolong this matter because regardless of anything he actually has to realize that he is clearly guilty.
If it was only Caroline and Wang who were punished without SBF, I think this is outrageous because in plain view of me, who can be said to be blind to the law, it should already be seen that what he did was a mistake.

even if some of that show of value ended up being fake.  A lot of us.. including the public were snowed by their bullshit, including their trying to influence American politics while locating their business off shore and using their high connections to engage in manipulation behaviors, and likely the parents of each of those fucktwats have quite a bit of involvement that may well need to be punished too.. even if the parents of those twats might not get any jailtime.. which those kinds of manipulating designer (and advising) folks likely deserve some of the punishment too..
I don't know why I agree with what you said, regardless of anything a crime is still a crime and this cannot be tolerated. Even though his parents had quite a close relationship with several high-ranking officials and influential people, wouldn't if he was released for reasons like this, it would actually create a bigger reaction in the end.
I can't imagine if indeed he walked freely and seemed innocent of the impact he had done which was actually detrimental. At least his conscience was broken if it was like that.

On the other hand, I think that even if they eventually get up, I don't think that many people will trust them again, whether it's trading or saving money on the stock exchange, because regardless of their important reputation, their current reputation has been damaged. That's not to say there isn't a chance, it's just that it's very unlikely.
Kevin O'Leary publicly said that SBF is a brilliant guy and the he would hire him again so don't you worry about them, they will be just fine. After all,  an average crypto investor won't remember any of this in a couple of years and would use another exchange started by SBF.
I'm not too strange about this because indeed if you look at it from the beginning this case sticks out he is one of the people who most vocally supports and defends SBF so he will definitely do something like that. But with this condition, can't we judge when a businessman supports someone desperately, of course there are things that make him feel benefited in the end because it's impossible for him to do something like this when he doesn't get any benefit, especially since he is a businessman.

Some rumors about Depay now seem to be starting to interest several clubs.
Since there have been rumors that several Barcelona players will be sold in order to save on current salary expenses, Depay has started to be looked at by several clubs.
Previously, there was the name Rome, now Depay was lyrics by Atletico.
This is a little fair in my opinion. Joao's position is still vacant now and inevitably Atletico must find an alternative.
Depay's condition is also a bit favorable because at least at Atletico if this is indeed an agreement then he will get several opportunities to play bigger.
Memphis Depay is still talented and experienced player, a very important characteristic that will be needed in every team. Before the world cup I would have doubted this news but after putting up a good performance at the world cup with Netherlands what would you expect. Atletico Madrid seem to be very interested in the player judging by the number of times and places I see this headlines. Depay will fill in for Joao Felix if he joins.
In fact, previously there were several names that could be options, such as Auba from Chelsea and Borja Iglesias from Betis. But Atletico still chose depay in this case because indeed there might be some affinity between Barcelona and Atletico who have previously made several agreements between players like Griezman and Suarez.
At the moment it looks like it's only a matter of time because seeing Depay's condition which is not really needed and Atletico who are serious I think this transfer will be fast.

Even if they banned all centralized exchanges and declared it illegal, it would be difficult to ban it outright. But if that happens, the global acceptance of bitcoin or the expectation that bitcoin will become widespread will be gone, and the one who has the most difficulty is us, no one else. So let's not expect that to happen.

Although the government cannot completely ban bitcoin, we do not need to make a public statement against them. We will be even more disadvantaged when we deliberately go against them, they are still the strongest in this world.
Well, isn't it already in some countries that prohibit it but for now bitcoin still exists and I think this is only made to make it as fud and does not rule out countries that prohibit it only to weaken it in terms of price so when it goes down they can buy it pretty cheap and re-legalize it.
