1762  Economy / Economics / Re: 13,500 Mining Rigs bought by Merkel Standard on: January 24, 2022, 07:25:03 AM
LOL. It's Merkle, not Merkel. At first glance I thought it was the former Chancellor of Germany buying mining equipment and I was like WTF?

Going to the news, I think this should be generalized. Many anti-bitcoin voices are hiding behind the energy expense to ban mining favoring PoS. This could be an excuse, as governments know they can control PoS but not PoW. But the fact is that if more and more mining is increasingly sustainable, this argument is dismantled.

Just noticed it.

It’s technological mistake, Auto-correction. Stupid algorithm. LOLZ
1763  Economy / Economics / 13,500 Mining Rigs bought by Merkel Standard on: January 24, 2022, 06:42:30 AM
In the recent news, Merkel literally pre placed an order of 13,500 ASIC miners to set a new goal for their company.
The company’s CEO Ruslan is way determined for his work in the mining sector and wishes to become one of the best mining firm around the globe. Nonetheless they already have huge set up and in addition to that they plan to extend this farm to next generation ASICS to be fired up by July to December period.

In talks this is what Ruslan said:
Quote
“This purchase from our strategic partner, BITMAIN, reflects Merkle Standard’s commitment to becoming one of the most efficient and sustainably focused miners,” said Ruslan Zinurov, CEO of Merkle Standard.

With this partnership BITAMAIN is also getting its success on the financial side as the Merkel gave out Purchase Order for this mega project. This true flagship of giant technological partnership in true sense and I think this will also bring big up surge in the market during the spring by 2022 and first quarter would be crucial for future plans.

The happy comment from BITMAIN:

Quote
“Our growing strategic partnership with Merkle Standard reflects the continued success of the company and how it positions itself to become a market leader by leveraging BITMAIN’s latest Bitcoin mining technology. The acquisition of new and powerful machines will lead the company into greater heights and solidify its growth in this digital era”, says Irene Gao from BITMAIN.

1764  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy low, Sell high? on: January 24, 2022, 04:57:06 AM
If many investors think that bitcoin is still costly to buy then they have the option from hundreds of legit altcoins too. It’s none like they don’t have options to buy at cheaper cost. All they want is bitcoin to be bought at hundreds of dollars and begin the journey towards million dollar. That thing was from the past and it’s not gonna come back.

It’s better to amplify the portfolio with alts now if you don’t have money but stop saying that though the crypto is at discounted but it’s not worth it.

Everything is possible right this movement.
1765  Economy / Economics / Re: Efforts made by the US actually provide a new problem for inflation. on: January 24, 2022, 04:12:29 AM
I am really thinking that there should be RESET button in the White House somewhere and it’s time to press it. Rest the whole economy and start from the scratch. Amid the COVID hospitals are not doing well and this is one of rib from system which keeps everyone going on. I’m not saying that everything must be reset but there should be a proper planning to resume the whole thing with the help of big industries, giant ventures, and billionaires within america. They should boast the things as greatest contributors in the country.

Things which are really zero priority should be stopped in US. Medical and healthcare staff should be increased, equipment’s and instruments related to the field shall be imported from other cheaper countries at discounted rates.

They need to improvise rather than deprive the whole situation by stuff like increased rates, printing money etc.
1766  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good moment to buy btc or eth? on: January 22, 2022, 01:47:17 PM
Good period to make your neat and clean portfolio. If there is someone who regretted the buying of crypto specially bitcoin then here you go they have bestowed upon us with showering discounts. Completely out of imagination and don’t know how lower it would go.

This is gonna be win win situation as many of the millionaires gonna buy in this dip as they see it as an opportunity for the future trades. So walk hand in hand or loose the chance to buy it all.
1767  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have any favorite superstititions when trading crypto on: January 22, 2022, 11:44:43 AM
Lolz, that’s funny but yeah many of them are having some sort of superstition after reading the thread. Idk it may be more or less lucky charms. I mean if we went with the above calculation then everyone has different lucky charms. Not everyone is wearing their lucky charms everyday day so coin status could go rogue. Lolz.

Personally I don’t have anything like this. I’m all the time on the screens once I wake up early in the morning. I don’t even choose daily fashion, accessories etc. Just go with whatever comes in my hands.  Grin
1768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solo Miner Bags $ 540,000 as reward for ETHEREUM BLOCK on: January 22, 2022, 07:06:32 AM
Wow, that was a huge reward, But my question is how they do that and how does that miner defy the difficulty issues? Is the miner's machine is more powerful compared to others who use the pools or it was just a bit of pure luck? Anyway, Im just asking it because I'm not knowledgeable enough about crypto mining Anyway $540K worth of Eth reward is already big-time that's why all I can say is congrats!

This is definitely pure luck and nothing else. At the current difficulty level it’s way hard to end up solving complete block!

Imagine the hash rate that is being used by mega farms around the globe. His mining rig could be just drop in an ocean yet he was able to separate the whole thing and mine it solo.

Very lucky guy. His all set for his new adventures.
1769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Solo Miner Bags $ 540,000 as reward for ETHEREUM BLOCK on: January 21, 2022, 10:52:08 AM
Could not resist myself to share this news but this solo miner got huge reward of 170 ETH by successfully mining the Entire block of ETH.

In the days when the mining difficulty is at its peak and miners are literally throwing TH or GH of mining power at pools and yet they find it very difficult to mine the entire block.

However, this guy got so lucky to have found the block and solo mined it entirely.

Quote
Ethereum mining has emerged as a great way for individuals with powerful graphics cards (GPUs) to make some money while they aren't using their PC. With congestion on the Ethereum network driving up gas fees, mining profitability has been fairly decent for solo miners although the average profitability has seen a dip. However, an Ethereum miner appears to have hit a rare jackpot after mining a single Ethereum block that earned him a reward of ETH 170 which is valued at around $540,000 (roughly Rs. 4 crore).

The mining difficulty of Ethereum is not as high compared to Bitcoin, but it is still a difficult, energy-consuming, and computationally intensive process that may discourage an average person. Even so, a lot of solo miners continue to thrive in the Ethereum ecosystem and continue to draw profits from their mining activities. However, very rarely does one hear about a miner mining a single block that delivers a reward with Ether worth a fortune.

As per a report by BeInCrypto, this solo Ethereum miner had found a block and then proceeded to mine it independently got a total of ETH 170.65 in rewards for this. The value of Ether at the time the miner was rewarded was cumulatively worth around $540,000 (roughly Rs. 4 crore) which went to this miner.

This post is way more inspiring than any story telling from legends. Full respect to that tweet actually. It’s telling the whole story in blink of an eye. What bitcoin was thought to be and how bitcoin is being considered today.

Totally scrambling post. Thanks for sharing this.
1771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto NFTs, what are your thoughts. on: January 18, 2022, 06:26:03 AM
All of them to me are amazing especially when they're being sold to anyone. The idea that there are people that are willing to buy those expensive NFT arts tells me that you expect something unexpected.

Just like this guy who sold a likely beeple of himself.

22-year-old Indonesian boy makes $1M by selling NFT selfies on OpenSea

It's amazing when there is a child who is still young but can have assets of $ 1 million just by selling the picture alone.
What if we also try sir who knows we are also as lucky as him 😊
Because nothing is impossible if we dare to try it what more if we have our own ar.t

Well ideally we have lost the chance because that child has already gotten the idea registered with his NFT. It’s all unique for him now and if we try to do something similar then it would be nothing but copying him and won’t be much value.

Obviously it may get value if someone sees our selfies as the attractive one or may be some characteristics which the buyer wanted to see.

Don’t know I’m suspecting that some IT giant might have bought it because they wanted to test the facial recognition software by feeding his data into it.

Who knows, million possibilities are there for this to happen.
1772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto NFTs, what are your thoughts. on: January 17, 2022, 01:27:53 PM
Gosh these NFTS really making everyone rich I see. Just a 22 year old kid getting 1 M? Wow I’m just so naive into the world of crypto I would say. It is astounding to see how anyone can get into crypto these days and make their way all the way up to millions of dollars.

It’s also applauding to the bidder who actually bought the selfie’s from this. Not at all sure why he would need it but I’m sure he had his own passion behind it.

Kudos to NFT world.

Saying that NFTs make "everyone" rich is taking it too far. It's just like saying that "crypto is making everyone rich"; whereas we know for a fact that only a very small minority actually makes money in the end. It's just the fact that we only mostly hear about the people winning.

This kid got hella lucky though. Someone on crypto Twitter managed to find his collection, and it got a lot of traction simply due to how absurd the collection is. NFT collections are mostly graphically designed images, then here we have this guy with his selfies.

Yes exactly. I’m just making my point but we gotta say this is something miraculous that guys are winning hell lot of money for something that we may never buy with Fiat money.

Who would go in the market and buy someone else’s selfies. Lolz.

And yup, it’s all about the crypto which is making them rich. I just hope this trend continues and the whole crypto gets benefits from the same.

1774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin City on: November 29, 2021, 03:44:19 AM
I am amused what is the status of this countries wealth by today’s rate?
I mean they have invested heavily into bitcoin infrastructure meaning various investment such as 200+ bitcoin machines and also bought bitcoin frequently.

All this happened when the rate of bitcoin was ATH (the new one) and as we see bitcoin has dropped heavily, this might have hampered the El Salvador investment in worst possible ways.

1776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or hardware wallet ? on: November 27, 2021, 11:36:33 AM
Read:

tl;dr
  • exchange gets hacked, you're screwed
  • if you use a hardware wallet and not store your wallet's seed phrase digitally, your funds getting hacked is near impossible unless you make a big mistake

There is good example of this happening in the past and it was no one but the famous exchanger Binance which got hacked and millions were swiped in a blink of an eye. According to the sources around $40 million were stolen. Not only this, API token and 2FA codes were also got stolen by them. Imagine even with such high security by the binance it was not safe to keep the coins there. Now whether it was a conspiracy theory or real stuff I am not sure but things like can happen. Better go for hardware wallet.
1777  Economy / Economics / Re: Firefighters pension fund invests 25$ million in crypto on: November 14, 2021, 02:01:37 PM
This one is both positive and negative in many senses. I mean they are staking the government funds which are supposed to fund the pensions of fire fighters. They won’t like it if Singh loses it over crypto currencies volatility. I am not concern about the bitcoin that much but imagine ETH being unlimited in number could have down turn in the future and they could swap the whole 25 millions in blink of an eye if ETH fell for stupid reason.

The positive stuff here is easy, you have staked the money, you can grow it with the time of bitcoin and eth grows and this more money to spare on government pension schemes.

Although they might have thought this through and staking just 0.5% money it’s worth a shot.
1778  Economy / Economics / Re: 6 billion to solve world hunger? on: November 11, 2021, 08:59:52 AM
That is a huge amount of money but I am not sure if it is worth selling the Tesla for the whole thing? I know, I know humanity before the immaterial things but honestly let’s not forget that Tesla is huge company and it feeds N-number of families around the globe. With Tesla all set to create more plants around the Asian countries it will also become amazing opportunistic Center for those Asian families.

I’m not sure why would he need to sell Tesla, if he can just give share from his personal wealth. I hope you guys understand what I really meant here. I support the donations and charities.
1779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all the money in the world entered the cryptocurrency market? on: November 09, 2021, 04:08:27 AM
This question has been on my mind at this times ..
Will we see the price of Bitcoin at fantastic prices? i'm talking about +1.000.000$ For 1 BTC
And then what will happen to the other currencies (ALTS) ?
Will this be a positive thing for cryptocurrency!
Or is there risks and negative things that will happen in this market?
Because eventually there is a chance that this will happen
I mean If Crypto-currencies win and become one of the foundations of the new economic system.
Not Today , Not Tomorrow ,But this will happen .
Think about it ! It will be a good opportunity if we invest a small amount and leave it to our grandchildren in the future Wink

You say what man ?

It is the foundation of the new economic system? No it’s not. It’s not even close because it’s infrastructure is too poor to handle the whole worlds transaction. I mean MasterCard and VISA, look at the infra and the work force needed to run the whole dam thing. Now that’s what you call as economic system. Crafted and upgraded with classic touch.

No one is going to put all of their money into crypto. For example, I would always put only 10-20% of my salary into bitcoin that is also after I have fulfilled my household things.
