1761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 11, 2022, 11:15:42 PM
Otherwise, if negotiation falls apart then definitely this fight might not be made again. Crawford has been very vocal about it, severing his tie with Bob Arum and then maybe accepting the lesser purse. But if that is not enough to make this happen, then I don't know what will be the hindrance.

Agree with you. I don't think of any more reasons aside from the purse split on why these fights should not happen.

Even though I tried to think hard I really can't think of that big hindrance that will make this fight not possible. Just by reading every article involving both boxers' statements towards this fight, they are positive that the fight will happen. It will be shocking news that suddenly the negotiations will be failed.

I also remember reading an article before but I'm not sure who stated that the fight has no reasons why it should not happen. No hindrance, no things on their way, not being influenced, almost all are set. That leads me to think that things are now close to happenings but they are not just giving any information yet to the public as that's not a good action while everything is still not officially signed.

No spoilers indeed lol.
1762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Recent Experience at a Land-Based Casino on: July 11, 2022, 11:07:20 PM
Strange that he always lose. Never seen such a guy that has a terrible luck. Maybe winning in gambling is not for him? And the reason why he keeps on gambling is maybe not because of the profit this time but because he only want to have fun.

I'm sure there's a win in between. Not all have terrible luck but the timing to stop is not just executed properly. Since that person might be aiming for more profits, even though luck is always there and giving him chance to win, he still continues to play and the worst thing happened. The same cycle will happen again over and over again the next day and so.

As always, there's a thing in the gambler's mindset about why should we stop if we are lucky never realizing that it's now the start of the trap as they will just continue to bet. I admit, even for me, it's really hard to stop when we feel lucky and it's obvious that it's there while we play.

Just a while ago, I'm playing in a fiat casino with a capital of $20, spare funds on my fiat wallet app that is popular here. I managed to get winnings up to $300 for just a short time of playing because of that big multipliers. Since I'm feeling lucky and my capital is small, I decided to play more but someone got hit on my head that I need to take a break after experiencing no winnings in about, maybe 30-40 spins that I never experienced playing at crypto-slot games. I end up taking $200 at the end lol. Just imagine if the amount involved is decent.

Really hard to stop when we feel lucky.
1763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 11, 2022, 10:59:08 PM

What do you think guys of Andy Ruiz's prediction here:

Canelo vs. Golovkin 3: Andy Ruiz gives his prediction for the fight: "Nobody can beat Canelo in his weight"

It's make sense for me to "The Destroyer" having that kind of prediction since he knows personally Canelo as they worked along for a long period and they are really close. With that said, we should expect him to know at least his strengths and weaknesses of Canelo. It's a good point too that Canelo is undefeated at 168. But even with that, if Canelo is really dominant at that weight, his first 2 fights against GGG result in a controversy that results in organizing this trilogy.

Out of topic but Andy Ruiz is set to fight Luis "King Kong" Ortiz on September 4 and no doubt he's the Favorite to win this match.
1764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 11, 2022, 10:47:27 PM
Have you seen the SMB vs Blackwater game?

That game was really entertaining and Blackwater really prove that they are a championship team.
SMB needed an OT to beat the Blackwater because of Fajardo's 2 missed FT when only 3 seconds left in the game.
Overall, it's a good game by Blackwater, they are a threat I believe.

I don't think that just in one game, even against SMB, Blackwater already proves as a championship team.

I watched that game and it was really thrilling. But I doubt if that's a series game against SMB, BW will have the same performance.

I even appreciate BlackWater since we all know they are being popular for having the longest losing streak that lasted from 2020-2022 and their first win since then is against the Top Seed Magnolia in Governors Cup the last conference.

A series game is the best measure of whether a team can handle the pressure. Of course, I like BlackWater to reach even at Semis for new looks in the competition whereas always it's usual to see top teams in SMC and MVP.
1765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Kazuto Ioka vs Donnie Nietes II on: July 11, 2022, 10:33:08 PM
Nevertheless, this is a very experienced boxer.  He knows a lot of clever boxing tricks that can lead him to victory.  At the same time, he lacks aggressiveness and pressure.  His punches don't lead to a knockout.  They are not accurate or powerful enough.

I will just bet that the good and long experience of Nietes will beat the strategy of the opponent.

Nietes already knows what's lacking for him now compare to us. He already knows his disadvantages and for sure already understands that his body might not cooperate and catch up with him wherever he wants. Just come to think of it, he knows already the experience of fighting Ioka and probably watching some mix tapes on how Ioka was changed and improved since their last fight where Nietes won.

Since there's no way I will support Ioka, I like to believe that at some point Nietes has some advantages in technical terms. Let's wait and see if Nietes' age is really a hindrance in this fight or as the famous quote in the Philippines, only Carabaos aged lol.
1766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 11, 2022, 10:23:09 PM
Man, rumors are so exhausting. Just get it done. Kyrie trade for Westbrook in Lakers has been in the news for only God knows how long. Get it done please. In my opinion the Nets and Lakers are in bad situations and this could be a win/win for both. Westbrook is not as bad people now portray him, he was just a terrible fit in LA. He's still exciting, brings fans in and recently helped the Wizards get into the playoffs with not much else other than Beal. The Nets can't do any worse than getting swept in the 1st round, have Simmons and will get pieces for KD. Make the trade deal happen.

Just get it done? lol. That's not how it works and not as simple as you think.

Although I agree with your statement that Westbrook is not that technically bad but most people are expecting good from him that's why he becomes a big deal. I'm even with the idea to keep Westbrook rather than go ahead and get Kyrie. No more drama should be involved in Lakers. Believed me, if Kyrie's signing will happen in the Lakers here in the off-season, I'm sure he will create again another drama with this team.

And for let's say, even if not, I don't see Kyrie will be fit again working with LeBron James as it's not that secret why he even left in the first place from the Cavaliers and decided not to play anymore with Bron. Chances for Kyrie to change? I doubt. He is a good and talented player but his pride is really to the next level.

Kyrie is more fit for a team that doesn't have a specific main scorer. He is acting as a leader in every team in the first place.
1767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: July 11, 2022, 10:14:31 PM
This could be a good band aid solution to stop gambling for a while. However, after living the mountain side or seaside life, they'll just go back to their old ways and bad habits. As much as we want to deny, the truth is people who didn't experience proper rehabilitation will later on experience relapse.

That's why while in an environment where no gambling stuff is around, those who are helping people under addiction should do their best to change them at all costs so that once these former gamblers back to their usual life before, they are now responsible for their actions and won't become the worst gambler again.

Actually, for me, I don't mind if these gamblers will come back again at gambling once they are now back in reality. But at this time, I expect them to be more responsible and know already what those things under do's and don't. If they learned something back when they are out of the gambling world, I'm sure they will slowly stop their gambling activity slowly but surely.

I appreciate those people, organizations and institutions who are always there to help an addicted person to change for good.
1768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Careful With Your Slot Activity! on: July 11, 2022, 09:15:16 PM

What is so special about slot games? Words are not enough to explain it to you bro. Smiley

I'm a pure sports bettor but addicted to playing slot games in some cases. Why? You need to try for yourselves. It's not just about luck but the experience of thrill especially if you trigger the multiplier. Of course, be responsible and learn to stop the moment you hit that.

I'm a fan of buy-in anyway as I'm tired of manual spins.
Well, right. If it has triggered the multiplier that's where the main thrill is. Adrenaline that will make my heart beat faster when it get 500x feels like being slapped by a pile of fiat, that's how I feel when gambling slots. Also I often say rude when playing slots, when the multiplier comes out but is not caught.
I'm sure you just want the thrill with doing a buy-in, I'm not interested in being with a buy-in because the manual is more reliable, but I understand that different people have different ways.

Honestly, in terms of reliability and chances of winning, I don't see any difference between the manual mode and buy-in. The risk is there are both.

It's just that, and I already mentioned it, I'm tired of doing manual spins and even using the auto-bet won't make me feel thrilled and excited. By buy-in, there's already an automatic free spin and my instinct always tells me that, this is it. Of course, there are losing experiences but I really prefer to buy in because that's where I always hit good multipliers.

Tip: Choose slots that have a buy-in feature where it gives more free spins and good multipliers. Not saying it will increase the chances of your winning but we do like more free spins right? I literally end up checking different slots, trying their buy-in, to feel the experience, before choosing that slot game.

Anyways, this is regardless of the game provider.
1769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Grand Lotto Winner on: July 11, 2022, 05:59:49 AM
I hope that the Lotto organizer never mentions their names since these people who just had a life-changing experience could be in danger if they ever revealed their names.

Prior to that, there are several people who won the jackpot too within just a few months.

Don't worry, if you are not used to following the PCSO lottery, they never ever tell or mentioned the names of the jackpot winner in the public. I'm sure you are watching some news before and you don't remember that PCSO named the jackpot winners.

If they will be in danger, then they can't control it anymore. They just have to keep it secret as much as they can and always be safe. But personally, for me, that's not the issue they will face but surely, if they will be known as a jackpot winner, lots of people and strangers might try to ask for "balato" on their home. Another one is, and that's common here in PH, they will be having more relatives if you know what I mean. Cheesy
1770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Kazuto Ioka vs Donnie Nietes II on: July 10, 2022, 11:43:26 PM
Hopefully this would give Nietes a wake-up call to step up and bring back his old self in his fight with Ioka in Japan.

I hope so too and I'm looking forward to that. Mark Magsayo losing his title and PH doesn't have any champion now should give more boost and confidence for Nietes to bring his very A+ performance to this fight. Although yes we have to admit that it will really be a tough one for him because of some changes and characteristics on him that are not present now during his prime days.

Not used to seeing PH doesn't have any world champions. I hope we will have other rising stars too that will conquer the stage of world boxing.
1771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 10, 2022, 11:37:18 PM
What is wrong with the exhibition matches?  It is there to provide entertainment to the boxing fan and possibly give the boxing fan another chance to have a glimpse of a legendary fighter before he fully hang his gloves.

Many professional boxers voiced out before about their concerns about boxing now associating with non-sense exhibition matches.

Of course, it's not wrong for having an exhibition match but for boxing enthusiasts, are you fine watching a true legendary boxer against a Youtuber?

We won't feel the disappointment of real boxing fans about this. Remember when Tyson was supposed to fight against one of the Paul brothers? If I remember it right, he said that it will be easy money for his opponent since it will be a drag on his popularity.

Actually, Pacquiao can come out of retirement and sanction his next fight as a professional one like Oscar DelaHoya did last year although it didn't happen because he contracted a Covid-19 virus. Much better to see it that way.

But yes, we are just here to give our own comments and if Pacquiao really wants to push on that exhibition match, then so be it.
1772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 10, 2022, 11:27:55 PM
I'm just saying that the most chances is that GGG can only afford to win by a decision either SD or UD or even MD, but a knockout chance is also possible even if he's already 40 years old. I still believe that GGG can still bring more load even at his age.

I'm looking forward to GGG winning this fight as Canelo still has lots of chances to rise in stardom even though he will lose here. But even though I'm biased with GGG here, it's difficult for me to think that he can KnockOUt Canelo for the win. Canelo might currently still be in the effect of losing against Bivol and for sure, he might be more careful now in his next fight and won't do some aggressive actions without caution.

GGG is surely the underdog but it doesn't mean an upset will not happen.
1773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 10, 2022, 11:19:20 PM
in terms of Crawford, he will have now that chance after moving partway from Arum, if this negotiation
materialized the money that at stake will give him a decent amount of earnings.

I'm pretty sure that this fight between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence will be a blockbuster fight and expect more money to flow here. No need for any hype honestly as these fight takes several years in the making and most boxing fans waited for this. Aside from that, Spence Jr.'s PPV and ticket sales are impressive and always sold out early right away when his fights were just officially announced.

Money is not a problem here. Legacy is the most and being an undisputed welterweight champion is a great achievement.

1774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: General Information: Bet-at-home license suspended on: July 10, 2022, 11:10:52 PM

Is this Bet-at-home is quite popular and mostly used in UK or nearby countries?

If yes, then their competitors might be happy with their suspension as their customers will now shift to other platform. But I think they will soon be back in business and now that's a work in progress. If that platform is operating for a long, why have just now the authorities found a breach of terms.

Good thing also that they are allowing withdrawals and pending bets will push through and if win, it will credit to their client's account.

these days i wonder how there are guys who like slot games so much and what is so special about slot games? I see people say they put in less than 100$ and spent hours playing these slot games and won thousands of dollars, and I wonder: how do they do it? because slot games have no strategy, it's something that involves luck, so why are so many people putting money into a game that depends on luck? about your case, well this is something normal, which has been happening a lot

What is so special about slot games? Words are not enough to explain it to you bro. Smiley

I will give that worker a special treatment among my other workers because I like the attitude that he is showing towards our customers.

Do you mean that yelling in front of many clients there is a good attitude for you?

Always be professional if you are at work and don't make sh*t out there.

If that employee is concerned about his relative, he can grab that person into another spot in the casino and do a confrontation there. Regardless of whether the employee care for his relative or not, it's not appropriate to just shout there in front of other gamblers. The employee should know the limit.
1777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: July 10, 2022, 10:25:38 PM

Mark Magsayo started to show some stamina loss in just the 4th round. That was unusual to him.

Rey Vargas really put a tough job on the champion making Magsayo release much effort right at the early rounds. Magsayo's quickness that supposed to be his advantage, isn't utilized much. However, even with that situation, the Champion was able to put some damage too on his challenger in the later rounds but Vargas owned him in the end.

115-112 Vargas, 114-113 Magsayo, 115-112 Vargas - almost a unanimous decision for Vargas.

So unfortunate for Magsayo but Vargas deserves the win. Big Respect to him.
1778  Local / Pamilihan / Re: PBA Prediction Tournament [7.5k php in BTC prize pool] on: July 10, 2022, 12:31:24 AM

Today's pick:

SMB Beermen -6.5

1779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 09, 2022, 11:17:05 PM

Regarding the exhibition match about Manny Pacquiao, I just ignored those feeds before that I saw from random articles. But since our top local news agency here also posted that, can't believed it's now close on happening for real. It's something that I never thought Pacquiao will consider to participate.

The first rumor is much better, that was Pacquiao against Mayweather Jr. in an exhibition match but as always, that mega bout requires lots of considerations and pure efforts before it will be organized.

For other boxing event, Mark Magsayo and Rey Vargas bout is now approaching. The first title defense of Mark Magsayo as a WBC Featherweight Champion.
1780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Kazuto Ioka vs Donnie Nietes II on: July 09, 2022, 11:02:11 PM
In terms of achievements then yes both Donaire and Pacquiao are on the higher level but with pinoy fans the credits are always for the boxers who bring pride to the country and Nietes is always part of that pride, he's well recognized by the fans and the name already established accompanied by his accomplishments inside the ring.

Again, he will be supported even in his possible last ride. Pinoy fans will keep risking their money t bet for this guy.

I think it's already guaranteed that Donnie Nietes will be soon established as future Hall of Famer.

There's no way he won't be listed on that although it might take around a decade before being listed there.

Moving forward, regardless if Nietes is the underdog here, the majority of PH community obviously will disregard any technical analysis in favor of Ioka and will just focus and biased supporting Nietes. It's not the first time that PH bet is underdog.

Anyways, what's the speculative odds or official odds, if available, for this fight? Should be out now for fiat sportsbook.
