1761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [POW] LightningCash Gold (LTNCG) -- CPU -- Hive Mining -- Discord Mining on: August 04, 2020, 06:11:33 AM
Your website is still down. By the way the buy order at unnamed starts at 2 sats, do you think you can increase your coin's value in the next coming months? Bitcoin already surpassed the $11k mark so this is good timing to provide updates on your project, while people are interested with the good movement in crypto market. They are looking for potential coins in the market. You should start working on your website, at least make it up and running.

Also, the wallet is not syncing, do you have active nodes running for this? Thanks.
1762  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Recommended Trading Bot. on: August 03, 2020, 11:58:24 PM
If your an advanced user: Open-source trading bots such as Gekko[1] exist, whereas you can freely configure the software and implement in your strategies and indicators.
What guarantee is it that it will go property especially when it is going to go through the traders strategy and indicator? In percentage, what do you think can be represented in performance.
It's difficult, as what majority knows that using trading bot is not 100% guarantee, but if you will get use to it and your configuration on the bot is better as you continue to use it, then it your winning rate could increase. But using such as open-source trading bots are somehow useful compare to some trading bots that asking for a payment but the difference of it in the open-sourced trading bot is almost the same.

Most of these expensive trading bots are not worth buying if you will not optimize the use of it. So using the open-source is the best one when you are starting to learn about the tricks. It is still on the trader how can you maximize the potential of the trading bot. However, on my side, I still do manual trading so I know what's really going on with the particular coin. But some who have no extra time opt for trading bots. And if you're one of them, you can try first their free package before moving on to their premium package.

The below sites will give you idea of free crypto trading bots and  the best paid ones.

1763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: uvwFi - The Real DeFi (ANN) on: August 03, 2020, 11:34:45 PM
Nooo. This all looks like a big scam. There is no team or normal site.In the wake of the success of Defi, I am not surprised that such projects appear. This all looks like a big joke, does anyone fall for this?

DeFi projects are getting their bright spot these days, but only few of them are real and legit. Now, having their title thread as uvwFi- The Real DeFi. Don't believe outright on such claim. Anyone can say they are real but in reality, they are not. And if you checked their website, I don't see any solid foundation for this project but it seems like a money grab to me. No explanation as to whether how they can be the real DeFi platform. The content of the website can be done by an 8th grader.
1764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opera expands the possibilities of buying cryptocurrencies on: August 03, 2020, 11:09:42 PM
Opera is one browser that is integrating Crytocurrencies into their platform, even better than what brave is doing, it is the first browser to integrate crypto wallet into its platform, this is very good for the growth of the space and I think more and more browser and going to jump on this because Crypto is the next big thing

If we believe the statements of the Opera, then about 170,000 people use their built-in wallet every month, which is quite a large figure for a wallet built into a browser.
But it is a rather small figure in relation to the total number of their users, which is about 55 million.

Actually, as of June this year, they already have about 200M users. So the number of adoption may be bigger than 170k. This is quite good addition in crypto users if a lot of them will try the built-in crypto wallet. Many of them will try its usability as a lot of them want to avoid using fiat because of this pandemic.

https://investor.opera.com/news-releases/news-release-details/opera-news-sets-new-record-200-million-users

And with regards to Brave browser, I think they will follow this move very soon because they are already have BAT integrated within their system so inclusion of crypto wallet would be easier for them as most of these brave users are already oriented with crypto.
1765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitfinex hacks BTC are on the moved on: August 03, 2020, 04:38:39 PM
You mean they're tracing the bitcoins? But what I was made to believe is that bitcoins or any cryptocurrency or blochkchain transactions cannot be traced. I'm a newbie though. And I seem to be learning on daily basis most especially with this forum.

Since they know the addresses that were involved in that hacked. They tagged it Bitfinex Hack 2016 like for example below -

https://whale-alert.io/transaction/bitcoin/5b6bc2368138c2cb40126f041b90b3d0730d8feb11edf9384a00115087cf3245

So if in case an exchange will receive it, they know where it is coming from and they should flag it down immediately and report about it.
There are ways to check if the btc address is a fraudulent one-
https://news.bitcoin.com/how-to-check-bitcoin-address-scam/

And if you want to tag certain address -
https://bitcoinwhoswho.com/tags

Conjoin or mixer services should also see where this is coming from. And if these scammers are not careful, they will be traced as they are now starting to move.
1766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ruletka (RTK), the Russian Roulette ERC20 Token on: August 03, 2020, 04:43:45 AM
This is quite interesting. A token which is seemingly useless is trading at Uniswap at $0.15. I am having the impression that Uniswap is like Etherdelta before. I hope the Uniswap's fate will not be like etherdelta, wherein later on, a lot of crap tokens are being listed and traded.

1767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Quantum X Chain - Xchain on: August 03, 2020, 01:55:30 AM
Is it a joke? Website and social media addresses do not work.

403 Forbidden upon checking the website. But there's activity already in Uniswap. let's hope this is not just a money-grab project. Deflationary yet what is the use case of this token? The "dev" should first rectify the error on his site and see what's going on here. Telegram and twitter accounts don't exist also. So I don't know why the OP gave those links?

1768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DEB] Drivers Earning Benefits - Token of a future ride-share platform on: August 02, 2020, 11:58:51 PM
Latest screenshot of progress below. We are very close to completing functionality in that will allow a rider to pay with crypto for rideshare.

We have since received only ~$30 of funding for our project! Very thankful for those investors, yet we are requesting help from the crypto community in order to realize this project. DEB's goal is to be an uber competitor. Please if you have funds and are interested in supporting us, our tutorial for purchasing DEB is here: https://drivedeb.com/HowToBuyDEB.pdf
-

this is sad to hear dev. while other substandard projects can raise thousands to millions of dollars, you just only got a measly 30bucks. I guess don't wait for investors to come to you but look for them and  offer about this service. also, since you have circulating supply of 2B, maybe you can allot some to bounty programs because up until now this thread is still in the first page. and considering that this is under stellar platform, not many users are comfortable in dealing with stellar network.

And also, are you still running solo for this project as no additional name is added here?

1769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRI] Priexchange - Official Thread on: August 02, 2020, 11:30:43 PM
Is this some kinda joke? 50% off Bitcoin? Like you're Satoshi himself giving out Bitcoins. Anyone who falls for such a low life scam as this didn't deserve to own that money in the first place.

People should research more about this project. A very shady offering - 50% off in bitcoin? I guess if you buy from them, you'll never get out your money. Or are they selling stolen btc here? Why would someone sell it at 50% off?

Also, they are saying no KYC until Sept 1 but they are going to be live at Sept 1st? Whew! Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes  Of course you don't need KYC if your exchange is not up and running yet. People should be careful in signing up in this exchange. Something is wrong with how they present this exchange.

Primary Exchange is a new Chinese exchange that is going to be live at: First September 2020.

-

2FA is enabled on default, but could be turned off in the security tab.
KYC not needed until atleast First September 2020.
-
Bitcoin 50% Off until First September 2020

NOTE: We only have 80 BTC to offer and the limit is 3 BTC for each person to buy.

1770  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Golda.store Plagiarized Whitepaper on: August 02, 2020, 06:59:10 PM
This is an outright copy of somebody else's whitepaper and yes, their team profiles is quite doubtful. I have sent inquiries to some of the members mentioned on the website and let's see if they will confirm or refute the claim of golda project. Will post here once they responded. Also, I hope this project will not post this on the forum because they are already busted even before setting their foot here.
1771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] - HIVE - the worlds first decentralized social media network on: August 01, 2020, 11:55:17 PM
@OP, can you post clickable links like this

https://hive.io/

And since you are not part of their team, I am guessing you can't answer relevant questions here. It is better if you can invite one of their staffs to create their official thread here so users from the community will have direct contact with them. And all possible questions can be easily answered from their side.
1772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Shiba Inu, the DOGE Killer: a Decentralized Deflationary Store of Value on: August 01, 2020, 11:18:19 PM
i really like this words, the doge killer,
but seems impossible to kill doge, even a full features altcoins can't beat doge mate
anyway good luck for your mission

Hard to kill a veteran in this crypto community. Even if doge started as a meme but it already evolves into something useful for the community. And since this Shiba is using eth network, I don't think they can compete with doge. One major use case of doge is for transfer purposes due to its low transaction fees. So what is offering by Shiba here? Can it beat the tx fee of doge, even if they are using eth network? As your major goal is to kill doge but you forgot to laid out your plans on how to attack an old project. I don't think you will be successful on this one. Just my impression here. Would be impressed if you will get to at least half the number of exchanges where doge is currently listed with.
1773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regret always comes late, is there anyone who has experienced something similar? on: August 01, 2020, 10:46:18 PM
When the market is bullish, people regret selling or not buying, when the market is bearish, people regret not selling. It's very easy to get frustrated, because few people make perfect trades, so it's better to not think about it and be happy with the profit that you have made.

Also, this thinking can lead to FOMO, and FOMO can lead to losses if you recklessly buy in bull  market and fail to sell because you get too greedy. Trading is about making profit consistently rather than maximizing profits every single time.

Greediness is one reason why a lot of us failed to sell our tokens when there's still active market. I guess a lot of us at one point is having the thought that maybe someday this token's value will still increase but the reality is most of them die down after couple of weeks of trading. What I did before with my tokens was that I put a list in an excel file and have the info of the exchange/s where it is being traded (direct link), their ANN thread (because this will be helpful in tracking the progress of the project, if there's any). so from time to time I checked those potential tokens that I can sell in the market. And unfortunately, most of them didn't get listed in the exchanges. But if you have token/s that you feel you have the chance to sell it in the market, follow their social media channel like telegram, so you will be updated with their news. Because sometimes they will not update their ANN thread but they are active in social media.
1774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥GX Blocks🔥 Cloud Mining Contracts powered by 💦renewable energy sources🌎 on: August 01, 2020, 10:32:24 AM

Dear Community:

Team decided to extend the Pre-Sale period until 30 September 2020
as Soft Cap is not reached yet.
This is to allow sufficient time for consumer confidence to grow back due
to the economic uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Thank you for trusting GX Blocks.

Just a hypothetical question here. If this extension period will not give the the soft cap that they are aiming for, what are their plans to raise sufficient funds? Or will it dictate the development's timeline of the project? Raising funds these days is quite tough as a lot of investors/crypto users are still in tight budget because of the uncertainties that most of us are facing owed to the pandemic. Do they have private investors that can suffice their financial requirements in case of financial setback from their gxblocks sale?
1775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] - BrainiacChess - Online Chess Gaming Platform on: August 01, 2020, 06:59:56 AM
When will the chess games be live?
https://t.me/BrainiacChess_Network/26041, based on their group telegram, it seems like hopefully their Dapps will be live soon, because this is quite interesting considering that at the moment most chess games look boring.

I have some in my ledger, lets see how it does. Hopefully it's not a scam (grab and run). I got burned a few times here.

Their platform is a promising one if they truly develop this into something useful for the chess community. So far, I have seen this project as the only blockchain project dedicating to the chess sports. But browsing their 5-page whitepaper, I don't know how serious they will be in pushing thru this project. Though they are not holding any type of crowdsourcing here, we will not be expecting a very fast progress in implementing their goals here.

@Dev, do you have roadmap for this project? At least give us idea about the timeline and the items that you want to accomplish for this project?
1776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More than 50% of bitcoins from Twitter hack have been sent through mixers on: July 31, 2020, 11:29:10 PM
If anything, I'm actually quite surprised that some of those hackers/scammers risked moving out the funds(14.4%) without actually mixing/coinjoining them lol. It just shows that some of those scammers probably don't have the slightest idea on what they're doing and some just got lucky tricking security-illiterate Twitter people by using the typical giveaway scam.

Have you read the thread that the twitter hacker and his accessories were already arrested? Relatively young fellows so they may not fully know how to hide their stolen funds. They don't put all those stolen funds to mixer services. Some they cashed out without using this service, so maybe this was the reason why their movements were traced. Not too smart on their side. But the question here is - are they going to return those stolen funds to the users that were screwed by their fraudulent activity?

1777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LONG NETWORK on bitcoin blockchain with secret correspondence and marketplace on: July 31, 2020, 10:42:25 PM
The development version of the core has been updated.
Now LONG is also a platform for posting content on the blockchain.
4 LONG-specific RPC commands. The new commands do not break compatibility with all code ever created for bitcoin  Wink
https://github.com/longnetwork/LONGNETWORK

Are you going to buy your own domain name for this project, and not under github? It is better to see a project with their own domain name. Also, don't try to list this coin to crap exchanges. If you can just focus your listing in at least couple of decent exchanges, that is more than enough. But if you will just list and list it to unknown exchanges, it will not bring any good for your coin, because it will be dead in a matter of few weeks. Also, where is the marketplace that you are talking about here?
1778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MANTRADAO - Community Governed DeFi Platform on: July 31, 2020, 04:06:25 AM
I believe this is one the DeFi projects that is pretty serious with implementing their objectives. With several partners onboard, testing their network would not be a problem. And having your own type of token which is RST-88, do you think this will give you advantage over other DeFi-related projects. And are you gonna release additional items for your roadmap by next year? Because only the Q1 of this coming year has listed items to fulfil. Any long term plans in the pipeline?
1779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: VN Token: Welcome to the Vietnam cryptocurrency investment community, VN.NETWORK on: July 30, 2020, 11:49:03 PM
Wow, they are listed on Binance and some others famous exchanges. That's pretty impressive i think, especially binance is like quality mark for the project Smiley
I see that in OP thread and yeah that was is quite encouraging achievement, but it looks like it just happened, because I didn't see it on coinmarketcap market pairs. Hopefully the price is becomes more stable because the current selling and buying price are much different.

They are already listed in several exchanges and with other ranking sites. So that means, they have been working on this project for quite a while already. However, I hope their OP will be improved soon. Need to at least give visual images on their boring ANN thread. But I am still in doubt on this project. Can they really survive in the market? What are their strong points to sustain their operations?
1780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥[ANN]Tagion - Elastic|Decentralized|Scalable on: July 30, 2020, 11:21:07 PM
hi @cavo32

Yes we have started reaching out to different companies and organisations.
Countries we have access to include: Ukraine, Denmark, Pakistan.

Examples of businesses that can benefit from our proposition include full ecosystems that can develop an economic component (example: independent movie marketplaces, coffeeshop chains, e-commerce) or that have a solid community and are looking into deploying a transparent loyalty program. These are the immediate propositions.

Longterm, banking as a service, payment as a service, and finance sectors are the target. This depends on the health status of our network and how stable it is.

We are an open monetary system, at the end of the day, we depend on market validation and progress.

Since we are not a dApp platform, our competitors are mostly DAG based projects that focus on monetary solutions with non-mining non-staking consensus, the ones that focus and measure throughputs per second.

-

For the part about edge over competitors:
We are not just building a protocol, we have a full tech stack (which btw we're open sourcing through monthly releases as we pen test it) that includes 3 patents, Tagion protocol with proprietary monetary currency and elastic supply, DEX protocol with fair price matching, API modules, wallet.

We have improved the governance by implementing a digital trust layer and a proof of community consensus.
Customers can customise, mimic, or use the main DART (distributed database) and governance model.

-

DART distributed database explanation proof of Community and digital trust layer implementation explanation from senior developer Carsten Keutmann

-
DEX protocol explanation in the 2nd part of this article, explaining fair price discovery.

Coming soon, article on elastic supply Smiley

Thank you very much for that elaborate answer. In my opinion, you need to reach out those businesses like those movie marketplaces, coffee shop chains, ecommerce in the first stage. Because if you will get at least couple of them to be on board, it will be a perfect example that your system will be beneficial to them. And if it really works on their side, they can easily endorse it to other businesses. Word of mouth is a powerful marketing tool.

Also, you've stated about 3 patents. And that shows that your project here is indeed sincere as you are going to the extent of filing patents. Very few projects can actually go to that route.

Looking forward to see company logos on your website that will be using your technology. I hope you will have long list for that. Because that will cement your existence in crypto community. The more companies deploying your network, the more valuable your platform is.
