1761  Economy / Lending / Re: Interest Free Loan Service [starting Jan 7] on: December 15, 2023, 10:47:46 AM
Man, I'm pretty happy to see members like you who lend others in need without any interest. I'm sure you'll soon have many people who need the loan and they'll pay you back and they will also send you some tip for your generosity. No one is offering such service other than you but I must warn you to be careful from scammers they always try to scam positive people like you. Be careful that's what I would say and best of luck from my side, I hope you'll lend money to those who need it the most.

To update, i will be handling this for Balkan-Casino
When I looked at your post history then I found that you made this post after March 2023. Are you sure you're handling the Balkan-Casino or you're the real owner of it? Whatsoever, I still recommend everyone to have an escrow to deal with Balkan-Casino because without an escrow it could be a little bit risky.
1763  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is leading crypto exchanges in 2024? on: December 15, 2023, 09:29:19 AM
Your website says it's "the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange". Isn't that a bit of a big claim? Especially since it does not correspond to reality. With such slogans and such boasting, you only push potential clients away from your exchange. By the way, the translation into Russian of your website leaves much to be desired.
The website isn't the largest crypto-currency exchange out there and the claim is just for marketing purpose I guess. Although it's a pretty ranked website and it gets good traffic on monthly basis but it's better to be honest instead of using such words that aren't a part of reality. I've personally never used that exchange and it's the first time I'm hearing about it. Does anyone else used that exchange?
1764  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why Ubuntu? on: December 15, 2023, 08:29:21 AM
What is the advantage of Ubuntu over other Linux distros?
Ubuntu has no advantage over other Linux distro but since most distros are based on Ubuntu that's why everyone recommend Ubuntu. I personally don't like to use Ubuntu as its interface it too fancy for me and that's why I use derivatives like Lubuntu which is a cut down version of Ubuntu for low end systems and it works smoothly on high end systems as well.

The difference between Lubuntu and Ubuntu is the desktop environment, the Ubuntu uses Gnome as its desktop environment while Lubuntu uses LXQt as its desktop environment. You can install same applications on both of those distros but I would still go with Lubuntu as it's interface is easy and it runs pretty fast.

You can also check also distros which are designed to do specific tasks. I prefer you to try Puppy Linux that's one of the fastest distros out there and it loads directedly into the ram. Just 300 MB in size but a good one. You can also try Ubuntu Mate as that one is also a good distro with Mate desktop environment. The Ubuntu Mate works like a charm on my old Raspberry pi 3B and it works similarly on my old laptop.
1765  Other / Meta / Re: How did you know about Bitcoin and Bitcointalk? on: December 15, 2023, 08:14:51 AM
  • How did you know about Bitcoin? From good news or from bad news?
  • How did you know about Bitcointalk?
My straight forward answer is that I learnt about Bitcoin from Bitcointalk forum. I'm not sure if anyone else has learnt about Bitcoin by joining this forum but I'm the one who learnt about Bitcoin and crypto-currencies from this forum. Basically I was searching for ways to sell some digital goods and when I made a Google search I got a thread in this forum. I was not aware about Bitcoin or crypto-currencies but once I started reading some threads in this forum and then started reading some books I learned that what Bitcoin is and why it was created.

I'm very thankful to that guy who posted that digital goods thread on this forum because of that thread my life changed. This forum and Bitcoin has given me a lot in my life and I'm very thankful to Bitcoin and to this forum. I was basically active on digital goods board in start but overtime I started browsing various boards of the forum. Now, I rarely visit the digital good board but it was my pathway to learn about Bitcoin and this forum.
1766  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump make world peaceful place on: December 15, 2023, 07:19:50 AM
I don’t think you can trust any politician. Trump will just say things he thinks will get votes & as it’s election year he’ll be trying extra hard to get votes. Biden will do exactly the same, they’re all full of BS & don’t care about us. Most of them are just trying to line their own pockets at our expense.
I agree with you but sometimes a few politicians are better than others and in case of Trump I would say that the guy didn't do anything that would harm someone. I know he's a businessmen and he would do all those things that would profit him but in his tenor there were less wars and the inflation wasn't that high. Let's see if he gets elected as president once again then what new things he will bring with him. I believe those politicians are good humans who stop the wars and think about economical progress and Donald Trump is one of such politicians.

Brother, Certainly, Bitcoin year-2024 k last quarter mein $80,000 k mark ko hit ker sakta ha mgr yeh level hlaving k baad hee achieve hony ka zayadeh imkan ha. Early 2024 mein agr Bitcoin k ETFs approve ho jatay han, toh yeh bi mumkin k Bitcoin k price mein bri correction aai jis se Bitcoin $31,500 (200 DMA) tak neechy drop ho jai. DYOR
Bahi mai apke tajziye ke sath itefaq rakhta hu aur haan ye o sakta hai k Bitcoin $80k tak ponch jahy 2024 mai in fact 2025 me to mujy confirm laghta hai k Bitcion $120k ko bhi cross kar dega. ETF jab approve o jahengy to start me Bitcoin ek acha upward moment show karega pir uske baad correction hony ke chances hai. O satka hai ke ETF ke approval ke baad Bitcoin ek dam se hi apna pichla ATH cross kar le magar huske chanes bhot kam hai. Bitcoin abhi bhi $50k tak ponch sakta hai December me agar aesa hota hai to $80k to confirm hai pir 2024 mai.
1768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All thanks to my family they contributed and bought bitcoin for me on: December 15, 2023, 05:00:21 AM
I am waiting for my friend who will help me buy it by the weekend.
Why you are waiting for your friend when you can buy it yourself? I would suggest you to learn about Bitcoin buying and storing it safely in a wallet yourself because in the world of crypto-currencies trusting someone else is always going to be a risky thing. If someone gets access to your private keys then they can do whatever they want with your Bitcoin.

Although, you have taken a good step by investing into Bitcoin but it seems like that you don't have much knowledge about Bitcoin storing or how to have your own personal wallet or how to purchase Bitcoin your self. I would suggest you once again to learn about Bitcoin purchasing yourself it's not that hard and then you should also try to learn about Bitcoin wallets.

I suggest you to learn about Electrum wallet and air-gapped systems. You should also try to save your private keys and seed phrases secretly because if someone gets access to those then they can transfer your Bitcoin without your knowledge. When it comes to private keys and seed phrases then it's better to store those at 2 places one should be a proper SSD or flash drive that only you can access and that should be totally disconnected from internet based system and the other should be a paper. I would also suggest you to not keep your Bitcoin at online exchanges.
1769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is wiser? on: December 15, 2023, 04:44:51 AM
I would say that the third one that you named after the Legendary Theymos is doing a good job by investing $100 per on Bitcoin by following a DCA strategy. But, I would like to add that instead of weekly DCA he should follow dip buying strategy because that has been known to give huge profits and the average price get better with each dip.

The 3rd one is obviously wiser because he knows that it's crypto market and the price can go up and down. Although, I firmly believe that Bitcoin is going to go up in coming weeks but still we can't just be right 100% most of the times. It's always better to follow a time-tested strategy that would allow you to accumulate for long term.

I hate every word of this post
Yeah, I also have every word of that post in fact anything that contain those ordinals make me feel sick. Those ordinals are the cause of huge fees that we see everyday. Those useless tokens and NFT's are only present to disrupt the network of Bitcoin. Shame on those people who created ordinals and unfortunately we can't do anything to get rid of those ordinals.
1771  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Quickest way to earn merit? on: December 14, 2023, 09:02:34 PM
I'm new here.
Welcome to the forum I hope you'll learn a lot from this forum.
What's all about this merit count?
It's the number of merits that you get and which people can see on your profile. The number of merits you get for your posts = merit count.
How is it earned?
It's sent to you by those users who have sMerits and they send those sMerits to users who make good and informative posts and also to those members who regularly contribute to the forum.
I'm assuming it's linked to the quality/usefulness of your posts/replies?
Yeah, when someone posts high-quality stuff that contain valuable information then other users send merits to those posts which are somehow helpful for the community. If you make good posts then you'll get merits from all those members who appreciate your work. The better posts you make the more merits you earn. I suggest you to avoid thinking about merits as a newbie and focus on making good quality posts. Try to help others with your posts and then you'll see the merits flowing like air to you.

Don't beg for merits as that's not needed at all because if you make good posts then there are so many generous people on this forum who will send you merits.

I'm ready to promote all those services that are allowed to be promoted on this forum and I'm also ready to go for long term deals.

I have been in L0tt0.com signature campaign for almost 25 weeks but the campaign is currently on pause and that's why I'm looking for good deals.

I have been into various signature campaigns and avatar campaigns during this year but for last 25 weeks I was in L0tt0's campaign.

I'm a regular poster of this forum and I give proper time to write my posts. I accept Bitcoin, Monero, Lite Coin, and other Stable coins.

I have around 2230 posts and I make around 30-80 posts per week.

I assure you that your project will get good exposure on my profile because most of my posts are in 1-3 pages of a thread and I try my best to post in first page of the threads when possible.

I believe in best quality posts and that's why I give proper time to create my posts and reread most of my posts to fix minor issues if I find some of those.

Feel free to send me a private message so we can discuss more.
1773  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: December 14, 2023, 12:22:56 PM
Sadly that is not about football. Football is not only about skill. Speed and reflexes matters also. Who cares if you are uber skilled, when you cant steal the ball
You're saying the truth in football the reflexes and speed matter a lot but a player also need skills to perform good in ground because without skills the speed and reflexes won't help at all. A boxer or a MMA fighter has speed plus reflexes but they aren't skilled in the game of football and if you bring them on ground they won't be able to perform at all. A skilled footballer with speed and reflexes would do much better than a young one with just speed and reflexes. Ronaldo is old in age but he still performs better than the ones who are still in their 20's.

We are all satoshi, plain and simple. We didn't come up with the code, but we keep the dream alive everyday.
Yeah, I believe yahoo62278 is right we are all keeping the dream of Satoshi alive and in a sense we're all Satoshi. The original founder of Bitcoin made Bitcoin for us and left it for us so he may not get extra priority for his innovation. Such a brilliant mind and a freedom lover, where-ever in the world he is I would thank him for Bitcoin.
1775  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much do signature campaigns work? on: December 14, 2023, 08:18:49 AM
How do these companies know you pasted their html in your signature and that they should pay you?
Companies don't need to know that you have pasted their code in your signature space because they hire campaign managers from this forum who look after the members who apply the signature code on their profiles. It's basically the campaign manager that looks after the participants who are into a campaign and the company pays manger for that hard work.

Do they pay a fixed amount per post or a fixed amount per week?
In most campaigns the amount it fixed per post but not all of the posts will get paid. Someone campaigns pay 20 posts of a users while others pay 50-60 posts that a member makes. The paid posts should be constructive and should contain valuable information.

How much do they pay on average for each rank? Or is it not the rank but the merit which determines your income?
The rank is an important thing in a campaign the higher the rank the better the payment. In some campaigns merits also play a big role, in a few campaigns the members with 3k or 4k merits get higher pay as compare to other Legendary rank members. They get that pay because they are the most active and contributive members of the forum.
1776  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Biggest risk of P2P trade on: December 14, 2023, 07:40:21 AM

I never faced an issue like my crypto doesn't arrived in wallet after making the payment. but my binance account got blocked because of p2p where there was no mistake from my side.
That's something new I'm hearing but that's something we must think about. Sometimes it's not our fault but because of someone else we get blocked from features that we love to use. That's why people hate the centralized system and want to have everything in the decentralized way.

So far my experience with Binance p2p has been good but once I also got a problem with a seller and it took me 4 days to receive my money but the support team was cooperative and the seller was also cooperative. I think you should contact their C&S team once again and share your issue with them and who know you may get access to the p2p trading once again.
1777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Passionate gambler keeps the gambling boards rolling even after retirements on: December 14, 2023, 07:34:01 AM
From your story, those who gamble come from far away places and I'm sure those who take part in gambling are not only aiming to win. It's an activity they enjoy.
Actually these days most gamblers are into gambling for money not for the fun part. The gamblers enjoy when they win and they get sad when they lose. There are still a group of gamblers who play for fun and or who play with friends but most gamblers in online casinos want to get rich with gambling.

Those gamblers who are into gambling for fun part won't get addicted but those who are into gambling only for money tend up losing most of the times. I think it's okay to make money as a gambler but it isn't okay to waste a lot of money because you want to cover up the previous losses.

Just play and have fun and when you think you're overdoing it then take a rest for a few days and do something else instead of gambling. That way no one will get addicted to gambling and when someone's luck gets better due to their own positive mindset then they start winning the bets once again.
