I don't know if it's legal or not but yes it does have their logo on it , however there is a weird thing ... how come that it's written Bit-x.com on as Cardholder and not my real name as I sent it ?? I mean now it's like they own the card and the money on it or some shit ? scary stuff
You can have your name on there if you pay extra. They work along similar lines to prepaid credit cards. Quite a few of them don't have your name on there either.

Don't fret. As soon as it drops $5-10 we will once again be reminded that the sky is falling.

Considering how rabidly against BTC Mastercard is, I find these cards something of an anomaly. They shut down Neteller within a very short space of time. I guess the only reason some of these other cards are still going is because they're so small. I wouldn't want to be caught with my pants down with one of these.

I had a 2FA failure with a couple of websites. They were able to bypass and reset it with some extra info including an email from the registered address and an educated guess of my balances. It's totally down to their discretion though.

So 4 customers instead of 1. Sweet.
Running a Greek exchange right now would make sense. You can transfer all the EUR you like inside Greece. You just can't send it abroad or get it out of the ATMs in decent amounts. There's a lot of money there looking for a way out. It's a shame it had to come to this.

I find it bleedin' incredible that so little information has come out about what happened. It's been over a year. No mention even of all the fiat that was sent there and that's directly traceable. People were still transferring thousands after they'd halted coin withdrawals.

That time is done. Not to many people knew about it's efficiency because not to many were mining as they are now. Now it's the time of normalization because it is more common to see it being used and commercial entities are using it now. So no, it will never reach it's peak again. Think of it the same as the tech bubble, will there ever be another microsoft being the first? Sure facebook, but now more people are using it so it is just another tech company. Just like litecoin is to bitcoin, their will never be another first. So no, it won't surpass $1200 ever again unless the other economies have what is happening to Greece happens to them too, which will never happen.
I think plenty of people on here have a hugely inflated idea of how big BTC is in the wider world. There are also no shortage of those who massively underestimate how minuscule it is as well. The dotcom bubble consumed trillions of dollars of investment capital. The $1200 peak consisted of maybe a few tens of thousands of enthusiasts and barely one single finance professional or one cent of their money. If you think it has already shot its potential bolt that's just as delusional as thinking it'll be $1 mil a piece by the end of the year. In global finance terms it's still less than nowhere. If a dotcom esque bubble occurred, and I don't think it would be a healthy thing so I hope it doesn't, minds would be blown to the edges of the universe.

I liked millibits. When bitcoin was $1000, 1 mB was almost equal to 1 dollar.
How many bits does $1 get you?
I think it was 100 Satoshis. Coinbase and Bitpay etc tried to get rolling with 'bits' but that seems to have petered out somewhat. I agree with you. There are many on here who often say it doesn't make a difference but they're probably up to their eyes in coding. The average human does not want to contend with 6 zeroes before they get to the meat of their payment.
Just build a giant baby creche for them. I'm not a fan of the endless zeroes myself yet here I am on this forum. It's just not how most minds are comfortable conceiving numbers.

Most of the people that say silk road or any usage of bitcoin in the dark web is bad for bitcoin, i seen quite a lot of people saying that the dark usages of bitcoin are a cancer for bitcoin to grow in the general public.
There's still a ton of dark web usage for it. It doesn't seem to pop up as a subject very often any more. All the mainstream stuff has drowned it out somewhat.

Satoshi has a Japanese name, not a Chinese name. I thought the Chinese hated the Japanese. Why would they give him a Japanese name if they secretly invented Bitcoin using him as a front? I don't know what the Chinese equivalent of the CIA is called but I don't believe they invented Bitcoin, or that the US CIA invented Bitcoin.
Misdirection. If Satoshi was a bunch of sinister Chinese folks then you may as well choose a name from a country you're not hugely fond of and use a style of English from a place far, far away. We'll likely never know anyway so there's no point in getting our knickers in a twist.

Effectively, bitcoin can become worth $10K-100K, but, in my opinion, it would need to reshuffle its main unit from 1BTC=10^8 satoshis to a bit (or equivalent)=10^2 satoshis. Large denominations monetary instruments tend to be solely for investment, not trading or usage. Example-BRK-A at $205K/share and volume of just 600/day. If, for example, BTC is 35K, then a cup of coffee is just 0.0001 btc. People are not very good in dealing with so many zeroes after the decimal.

As given in the article, BlockTrail Mint does not accept payments in the form of US Dollar. You need to pay them with (old) Bitcoins, to receive freshly mined Bitcoins. It is like paying $110 in old United States Dollar banknotes, to receive a freshly printed $100 banknote of 2015 vintage. They are trying to fool normal Bitcoiners and that's all.
I'm sure there'll be a few suckers just aching to immediately devalue their brand new coins. What is the premium if any? I can't find any mention of it anywhere.

Though bitcoins haven't disappointed much so far, I still believe that when it comes to a huge investment one should consider the old, more reliable means such as gold and property. Also, its quite obvious that the prices of gold will shoot up in the coming years so its safer to invest in them.
It's a different type of investing though. Or I would hope people had a different approach. It's effectively a bet compared to gold or property so you have to allocate how much you put in accordingly.

I'll be waiting for his proclamation on the subject. I look up to him a great deal and have remodeled my home and hair in a style I believe he would approve of. I'm hoping he will eventually buy me. I think the Chinese have a tad more to worry about when it comes to the environment.

Maybe. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FOshusTQ.png&t=663&c=eepcmkLwDA4zGg) Is that a real quote? I can't say I'm quaking in my boots yet but maybe the fragrant Donald is exactly what the US needs right now. It's about time it had a leader worthy of true respect.

But if it doesn't even worth with a GPU why would I mine with my toaster?
