If you have free electricity and you live in an apartment you should consider getting a KNC Jupiter. Those are silent power hogs.

SP20, S5, S3 will drive you nuts if you sleep in the same room.

This is probably the best silent miner on the market as long as you have free electricity.

17743  Economy / Gambling / Re: Make 20x profit in 30 minutes on: May 30, 2015, 08:11:28 AM
how long it takes to withdraw? wait 5 hours ago and still processing.. Undecided

We do not use hot wallets and manually process all withdrawals in a few batches everyday because as we know nearly all hot wallets in all big sites were hacked. This is safer but also slower.

You are wrong about this because you do use hot wallet ofcourse but you are not using automatic withdrawal. Hot wallet is a wallet that is connected to the internet, if you are using cold wallet to keep on send the fund then it will take a lot of time to download the block again.

Our wallet is not connected to the internet. So it is a cold wallet. The machine storing the cold wallet does not need to download the blockchain. It's only used for signing transactions. We have an online machine with a full copy of the blockchain and all the addresses in our cold wallet. But that's only used for monitoring and creating unsigned transactions. I don't know what is wrong here.

I asked this earlier and didn't get a reply. Will you be adding additional pairs like EUR/USD, GOLD, or any other pairs besides BTC ?
17744  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling sites offering free signup bonus? on: May 30, 2015, 08:09:31 AM
Almost all the casino sites do this. Check out my sig.

However before you can withdraw any bonus, you need a high rollover amount.

You can also try gambling with play money.
17745  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: i need a cheap effective rig on: May 30, 2015, 08:06:57 AM
I guess people like the OP are the reason why miners are overpriced on eBay and Amazon.

Because they are lazy and don't want to do research and buy the first miner they see and only months later they realise that its costing them more money then it makes.

17746  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Summer Mining - Fans/Other summer equipment on: May 30, 2015, 01:36:17 AM
I posted this in my other thread but what works for me is basically using vinyl tubing for the exhaust. The heat from the PSU is small.

Basically went to a few stores and for such a simple part it was very hard to find but one location of Home Depot had exactly what I was looking for.

http://www.homedepot.ca/product/flexible-vinyl-ducting-6-inch-x-10-foot/968350

Its 6 inch by 10 foot and fits both the S2 and S3 perfectly with no air escaping.

For the S3, all you do is slide it right in. For the S2, you use a few zip ties to get it to hold around the fan grill.

But now at least I can keep them running during the Summer.

I find it odd also that they wouldn't publish their cold storage wallet. However with the large amounts of BTC invested in their signature campaign looks like they could be fully invested.

Their site is still new and most likely didnt turn profit yet from the sig campaigns.

17748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: May 29, 2015, 07:28:01 AM
adaseb, yeah, that sounds about right.

I used JDCAPI by Seuntjie. https://github.com/Seuntjie900/jdcapi

Any reason why you are betting with CLAM instead of BTC? Just curious
17749  Economy / Gambling / Re: Make 20x profit in 30 minutes on: May 29, 2015, 04:50:49 AM
https://coinut.com just added 30-minute binary options. Please join and make 20x profit in 30 minutes.

Are you the administrator of CoinUT or do you just promote their company with your signature?

Find it odd that there isn't a dedicated thread

Do you think in the future you will make people be able to open an account and keep a balance and bet directly from the balance instead of sending BTC from their wallets? It would be faster and cheaper since there are no fees.

i agree with you. and we have tried to make the system. but there is some  security issues.
after we find out  solution of the issues, we will make the system..
thank you.

If you can't do that then maybe allow users to bet in alternative currencies like DOGE. Doge is good because the transaction fees are very cheap compared to BTC.

Here you go:

http://sportsgambling.about.com/od/basketball/a/basichoops.htm

I am not banned from google so I was able to find this link.  If you need more I can search again, there are plenty of resources.  You could also try Bing if you are feeling adventurous.  Stay away for Yahoo though.  They are always trying to install a toolbar on me.

Yahoo doesn't install a toolbar. That usually happens when you bought a 3rd party computer with installed malware or you downloaded some program like Mcafee which automatically installs some tool bars.

https://coinut.com just added 30-minute binary options. Please join and make 20x profit in 30 minutes.

Its nice to see a site that finally has Vanilla options instead of just binary.

Will you add any Forex or Commodities pairs in the near future?
17753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: May 29, 2015, 03:41:59 AM
Just for fun, I'll add my thoughts to the thread.

Dooglus was spot on with the details of the 'method' used, but I'll recap so you can judge my sanity.

I decided to try this 9% martingale technique to see if I could reach 10k clams before I busted. That should make it pretty clear I was very much aware that busting was inevitable. (I guess  Grin)

First, I created a little bot that would bet on 40 accounts up to 10 clams at 9% over 110 losses. At this point, I would get a message on my phone and JD chat that would alert me of a bust. I would then transfer 100 CLAM to the bot that busted from one of my primary accounts. At that point, I would just hope lady-luck was on my side and bet cautiously.

I had countless people tell me to quit and take my winnings and run. However, I see no thrill in that and I was on a mission to 10k. Someone asked how much I lost, my answer is 5.5k. Once clams are won, they are yours to lose. (About 4k of that was profit. I had won a little over 1k from a previous failed martingale I finished up.)

Dooglus, I still think the system can be beat.  Shocked

I'll accept your challenge of 'put your money where your mouth is' and give it another attempt soon. I have already started simulating millions of bets with a modified strategy and maybe this time I'll get the 10k.

Oh, and I wouldn't think of playing anywhere other than Just-Dice.com!

(If there is anyone out there with a brilliant plan of attack, jump on JD and message me and I will code up a bot to carry out the plan.)

-TigerTatas

So since you made 4K profit and you lost 5.5K, you only lost 1.5K of your personal money?

What program did you use to run your auto bot? Did you use JD API?

17756  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Lifespan of Antminer S5? on: May 27, 2015, 03:21:31 AM
You will most likely throw the miner away before it burns out due to the difficulty increases.

Like how long will miners off the shelf like the S5 last before its not good enough to make money anymore aka trash it??

Nobody can tell you a true timeplan. Could be as long as one year or could be as short as 3 months.

That;s pretty much what happened to most ASIC buyers in 2014. Most ASIC buyers in 2013 made great money.

You can't predict what will happen in the future.
17757  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. Rated # 1 by Bitcointalk Members ! on: May 27, 2015, 03:19:45 AM
They will be constantly losing money by paying out the losing parlays. A monthly leaderboard like Nitrogen would be a better option.
Yeah thats what I meant by the post above you. But seems Nitrogen pays only the big parlays. But what Directbet can do is payout(half or something) the parlays with max odds or just payout a small amount just like Nitrogen.

What is max odds and I am not sure they will pay even half of these parlays because these will still incur loses?
By max odds I mean, someone with 20 games in a parlay with all above odds might even have total multiplier at 500x or more. They will ofcourse incur losses, but will be able to get parlay guys betting big on them to come to this site to do so , as they will have an extra incentive for the extra award that might be possible for them to win.

Yes but what are the chances of someone actually winning all of bets. Its highly unlikely.

17760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: May 27, 2015, 03:17:25 AM
Looks like he lost 3000 Clam which is like 15 BTC. But looking at the chart, it looks like he started from 0. So did he actually lose any money or break-even?

The y-axis shows his profit. It started at zero, went up to 3k, then down to -2.5k. The final loss was a loss of 5.5k, 3k of which was pre-existing profit, and 2.5k of which wasn't.

Well looks like in the short term his stragegy was working but he really should of just took the profit and left.
