1781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Perfect Dice experience on: September 29, 2018, 09:47:56 AM
I try pretty much every dice site that hits the market
yes, I like to try them new sites out, they got to be:
1.provably fair
2.trustworthy
3.decent interface that I do not have to ask in chat how to use
these are the minimal requirements for me to start playing there

but to stay, the sites got to have some extras like:
1.community and social aspect- chat, forum,blog,youtube/discord/twitch channel,so a player "lives" there after he finished gambling
2.promotions and giveaways-so if I don't have coins to depo at the moment, I can spend my time there
3.support-I love sites that give answers to your questions ASAP and their stuff is friendly
4.betting speed and variety of games-I'm a diceman myself Smiley but love to try other games from time to time ( #plinkoneveragain)
1782  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to win in Freebitco.in on: September 29, 2018, 09:10:22 AM
Is there anyone still play https://freebitco.in
I can see the last post related to freebit is very old.

If you still playing freebit. Can you share how to win?

Here's my own rule to win. Lets discuss about that.

1- Bet at 1/1000 your balance
Exp: you have 1000 sat => bet 1 sat per roll
2- If you loose => x2 your bet
         Exp: you bet 3 sat and loose => bet 2x3 = 6sat
3- If you win => return to base bet and change type of bet
Exp: Hi -> Lo, or Lo -> Hi
4- THE MOST IMPORTANT: after 4 times you loose, its time to stop lost. Return bet to exactly 1sat untill you get green. After that, back to step 1.

The 4th rule is the most important to keep your balance. But its is really hard to keep us in rule. You need practice very much.

======
Any one else has your rule to win freebit or any new idea? please share here, i will happy to practice with it.

you must be new to gambling  Wink
got to read about Martingale systems first and the house edge
freebitcoin is a great site, just not for gambling your coins at
as it has been mentioned above, 5% house edge makes your chances to win very low (in the long run ,I mean)
you would be better off saving whatever satoshi you get from their faucet and either investing them
or withdrawing and gambling at other sites that have only 1% house edge
1783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why investors invest in bitcoin though some of them loose it ? on: September 29, 2018, 08:20:27 AM
They still investing in Bitcoin for they knew that they only lose the value of their money for just a period of time, they Bitcoin volume is still the same and still remain and they are just waiting for the proper time when they would get the value of their money back and get more when the Bitcoin accelerated to it's previous $20k price.

this is everyone's dream- for bitcoin to return to 20.000$ levels
it could be just a dream for the time being though, investing in Bitcoin is more than just trying to buy cheap and sell after
it is investing in the future, fiat money is the thing of the past , or will be sooner or later
cryptocurrencies are the next step and bitcoin is cryptogold
1784  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▶▶ CryptoBet.to ◀◀ Transparent Ethereum Betting powered with ▶ Smart-Contracts ◀ on: September 29, 2018, 06:07:34 AM
thank you for the chance to test your site Smiley
go go Khabib
p.s. sadly, blockchain wallet prohibits sending to smart contracts directly, grrr
will have to try to find a different wallet to participate

I'm highly recommend to use Metamask. Super easy to install. Easy to buy ETH with BTC. It works smoothly.

maybe you can also set a non smart contract addy that auto resends the amount to the smart contract one? just a suggestion, do not throw stones at me Smiley

Simple address contradicts for the whole idea. Smart-contract is an independent automaton entity that works in the ETH networks and you could easily see it's code. Non smart-contract address can't transfer funds. It could be done only manually and as you see it's a bad idea  Smiley

I see, yeah the whole idea revolves around smart contract and automation
I was just frustrated blockchain.com wallet doesn't send to smart contracts somehow
but I will install Metamask (finally) since many of the sites require it to function nowadays

Hello guys,

We are now making the last tests before getting back online. We plan to open the site to all players on Monday with some gifts and promotions to celebrate this new start!

Our dev team is finishing up with the rebuild of the site. All servers have been changed and upgraded, and everything has been set up to make the site easier to develop and improve (including to add new games and features).

A brand new landing page will welcome you in this new step of the Bitsler history which we are expanding upon and will keep on expanding on in the future. We also had to change all our wallets. This is a long process which will continue after the reopening. We will continue to add more coins after this step has been completed as well. Please notice that all the deposit addresses will change (do not send coins to the old ones).

We also updated the provably fair formula and all players will have to change their seeds before making any bets. You will still be able to check the previous bets, but you will have to use a new verifier for the new bets.

We worked hard to make all the changes as smooth as possible for users and as always, if you have any issues then please contact our friendly support that will be here 24/7/365 in order to help you.

Cheers,
Baryom

fantastic news!
so happy to see that everything is getting back on track for my favorite gambling site!
excited to see the new look, wonder if the interface will be same or different?
also if the old stats will be available for players or we will have to start anew?
anyways, a little patience and guess we all find it out soon Smiley
1786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS IT BAD TO CHOOSE BITCOIN AND BITCOINTLAK FORUM OVER MY GRADUATION CEREMONY? on: September 28, 2018, 05:33:39 PM
Fellow commrades,
It just happened that my graduation ceremony out of college was some few weeks ago but yet I did not attend this ceremony because i needed to watch over my investments in cryptocurrency and also engage in activities of this noble forum. My parents think i am a SCAMMER right now because i am always with my laptop and chatting online. I wish i could explain things to them further but it seems they have already taken side just like the haters of the crypto community out there. But come to think of it guys crypto is helping me a lot and this is where my investments are not some white collar job so was it wrong for me to have stayed home and watched over my investments in the crypto community? Please help because my conscience is really making me feel guilty now but I know i did the right thing.

it certainly is
you should invest in your education and self-develpoment more time than in anything else
including reading bitcointalk and watching your trading investments Smiley
seems like you do not know how to prioritize things in your life just yet , but you are still young and will learn
once you realise that money is something secondary ,you will see things differently
1787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why investors invest in bitcoin though some of them loose it ? on: September 28, 2018, 04:48:36 PM
investors invest in bitcoin due to the fact that it is the best perfomming asset
if you compare its growth to, say gold , bitcoins beats it hands down
or pretty much any asset for that matter
investors are not only some individuals who want to get profit, it can be huge hedge funds or companies
they have specially trained people who calculate risks and I do not think they are that stupid to overlook bitcoin Smiley

Are there any plans for a reward system or something here for those who are betting a lot? I like the site so far but that would be a big deal to me.

there is a monthly competition tailored exactly for the players who wager alot
actually , you get can  get cashback  on your bets if you place first five https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5035436.0
1 - 0.2% of the players total wager - 1 BTC -max reward
2 - 0.17% of the players total wager - 0.5 BTC
3 - 0.14% of the players total wager - 0.3 BTC
4 - 0.12% of the players total wager - 0.2 BTC
5 - 0.1% of the players total wager - 0.1 BTC

funnily enough, bettors from Ukraine are not blocked
although their legislation prohibits gambling, especially gambling online
the owner should consider altering his business practices since blocking IPs of 50+ countries is not very good for business
and even if I wanted to use a VPN to test the site, I had to go through at least 20 countries to find one that works
only to find the odds are not competetive at all, I would rather bet at Betking or Jetwin -they offer higher odds , at least the ones I checked

pretty obvious that McGregor doesn't stand a chance in this ,so I would love to test the site and earn some ETH in the process
while watching McGregor getting demolished,too

Hello all. So far, we do not see any errors on the website.

Unfortunately there are many reasons why we can not offer our services specific countries. That could be to do with local laws , license conditions from a supplier or a specific country could have banned gambling.

The full list can be seen here - https://everybet.io/en/amlpolicy under "Forbidden Countries".

Residents of the following countries are currently forbidden to use everybet.io: Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Australia, Cambodia, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Ecuador, Estonia, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kuwait, La Reunion, Laos PDR, Martinique, Myanmar, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Pakistan, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sudan, Switzerland, Syria, UAE, Uganda, United Kingdom, United States of America, Yemen and Curacao

If your county is not seen in the list, but you are still unable to use the website in full, please let us know here, or contact us on support@everybet.io.

We apologize for any inconveniences caused by this.

oh wow basically most of the gamblers are exempt
51 countries? why the hell Switzerland and Italy or Spain? probably the first betting site to not allow these countries
do you require KYC verification for withdrawals?
not very interested myself  since it seems that I'm not allowed to gamble here as well, but others might be interested

night mode forever Smiley I love to turn it on
number one is my choice!

there is a nasty visual bug when you are autobetting ,not sure if it is fixed already
but yesterday it was like this:

probably due to the speed of bets not being throttled, same bet is displayed 2-3 times in a row
it is very confusing for new players and can lead to misunderstanding
if I were you I would disable it or at least have an option to turn it on/off

1797  Bitcoin / Press / [2018-09-25] Cryptos Crash After "Mt.Gox" Tokyo Whale Renews Btc Liquidation on: September 25, 2018, 12:22:29 PM
Bears are in charge following reports that the trustee liquidating the defunct exchange Mt. Gox has offloaded another 25.98 billion yen ($230 million) of Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.
While Bitcoin is the best-performer (down around 4%), the rest of the crypto space is collapsing faster.

some more cosmetic features :
no deposit pending notification, only when it is confirmed
no info about min deposit figures in FAQ or deposit tab, if the site accepts any min deposits-mention it
investment tab should be more informative, maybe its own FAQ or popup info
to return to playing dice you have to click on the site's logo, a separate link with Play dice or similar is a must
1799  Other / Meta / Re: Discover new title(rank) introduced by Jet Cash- "spambies" on: September 23, 2018, 07:42:53 PM
New title(rank) introduced by Jet Cash called spambie. Thanks to JC for discover new title. Really it's not fun, I realized the title and just want introduce to all. Recently so many accusation or complain regarding new merit system. But if you visit their profile you will realized that they are spambies instead of call newbie. Most of them are one line spammer and they are complaining about merit and meriting post of high ranked account. So I think it's really appropriate title (spambie) for them. Problem is they just want earn merit, never try to change posting behaviour. We are every one was newbie here. But we try to learn first then try to contribute something. Unfortunately current situation is different. People's just join for earn from here, especially bounty. I know it's not wrong. But once they see they need merit to be rank up than they start complain which is not fair I think. So called them spambies isn't wrong (IMO).

Those people's are just made complain instead of contribute something really they are spambie. Few people's are joined less then week and they are complaining about merit and meriting legendary. Actually they are not aware about all of rank and required. They just like to make complain.

you can award this rank to the ones who were demoted from Jr. rank to Newbie
some manage to go several hundreds posts without a single one that can be merited   Shocked
these are the real spambees
and all the drama and crushed dreams https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5035544

Site has been down for a couple of days. Will it be down forever? Are player funds lost?

there are several  topics popping up discussing whever its an exit scam
or just poor and unprofessional handling of a force majuere situation like DDOS or anything else
admins or support stuff should have announced in this topic what was the reason behind the site being down
in any case, I hope they resolve their issues and come back , but personally, I would never bet there even if they do
