Several UEFA Europe League playoff round matches for 1st leg will start on next Friday, have eight matches will held on playoff round and four winner teams will get drawing schedule with another team have been qualified as the leader group stage. Seems Barcelona vs Manchester United most waiting for Europe League playoff round matches because both team have to face early in Europe League and one of Manchester United or Barcelona have eliminated early.

Here completed matches playoff round

  • RB Salzburg vs AS Roma
  • Barcelona vs Manchester United
  • Ajax Amsterdam vs Union Berlin
  • Shakhtar Donetsk vs Renner
  • Sevilla vs PSV
  • Sporting Lisbon vs FC Midtjylland
  • Juventus vs Nantes
  • Bayern Leverkusen vs AS Monaco

As Roma are just not a. Consistent side to gamble with I will advise everyone to avoid them and observe how they go about the game. Salzburg are in a better position to win the odds may not decide that.
Barcelona plan on frustrating Rashford not to score we shall see if they do that correctly. I expect them to be held to draw at the end of the game. Juventus and Nantes didn't the last game well respectively, they will both pose a threat to themselves in the game.

Games of the week

Tuesday 14th February

AC Milan 20:00 Tottenham Hotspur
Paris Saint-Germain 20:00 Bayern Munich

Wednesday 15th February
Borussia Dortmund 20:00 Chelsea
Club Brugge 20:00 Benfica

In red my winning predictions.

Tottenham ? This is never going to happen, Tottenham couldn't match up with Leicester City and you expect them to face up Ac Milan? Good they are not playing so good but you don't expect the londoners to win this game.
Paris Saint Germany are playing tactically, I still expect Mbappe to play, they already lost a final to Bayern Munich in thr last five years, this might be another. I cannot give a conclusion for the Benfica game, but Chelsea has no good coach to beat Dortmund tactically. They will loose to Dortmund

Quote from: rojan
I think that the match I enjoyed today between these two teams Liverpool vs Everton in the Premier League is really a wonderful game. Because Liverpool is a strong team, everyone knows it. Since the start of the Liverpool game, they had the ball in their control until the end. In today's match  Liverpool won by 2 goals. I bet in favor of Liverpool in this match and I won the bet today. All in all I am very happy today. If Liverpool lost the match I would have been upset.

Liverpool really prepared well for this match, because their display from the beginning made them to achieve the first goal at 36th minutes to encourage their fans that they are in good mood to achieve victory from the match. Everton strikers applyed many strategies to ensure they achieve a goal from the match but Liverpool defenders never allow such thing to happen till the end of the match to prove to people that they can still make it before the end of this tournament. Many people predicted for the favour of Liverpool, because they believed that Everton cannot stop Liverpool not to achieve three points from the match.

Finally they scored which is the best way to win, when you start scoring and you make sure of resisting your opponents from equalizing the goal.
So far that was that was Liverpools best game and performance since they returned from the world cup. Salah scored and Gakpo, he was happy to do so against one of the clubs best rival's in the premier league and he cancelled the run of seven games without scoring.
Liverpool fans did welcome Jota back with baby arms, after seeing him for the first time after four months due to long injuries.

The fact that they spent 500+ million pounds on transfer and still saying that they are lacking a position is beyond funny to me. If you gave me 500 million pounds today, and gave me a team with zero players in it, I would have built you a team that had at least as much points as Chelsea, who knows maybe even better.

We're in a search of a goal keeper doesn't mean we're urgently in need of one. Don't forget we have about three goal keepers already. Mendy our previous number one has been injuried for quite sometime now and the talks on the renewal of his contract isn't progressing on a positive note which means he's likely to depart in the summer so we're now in search of a replacement for him so we don't fall into the same situation of panic buying like we did in January which clubs take advantage of and increase the value of their players knowing we're desperate and will pay the fee.

Chelsea is undergoing a rebuild with a new owner that wants his own players and not those inherited from the previous owners. Chelsea is a big club in Europe and known to be big spenders so you don't expect them to get their players cheap. The 500+ millions we spent got us about 8+ players and not all are available for the season so when you look at it we didn't over spend. The quality of players that were bought are brilliant so it isn't a wasted investments. We just need a quality coach to get this boys playing well again, Graham Potter isn't giving the vibe the squad needs.

Graham Potter is not different from a shit poster , he should be flagged red trusted and banned from being Chelsea's Coach. If you look at the project new head wants you will notice it's a long time plan which will definitely get the club enough titles and awards to player's. The problem with Chelsea is currently Graham Potter he deserves the sack letter. Player's like Cucurella should b dropped for a while.

Mendy wishes to leave indirectly, I was thinking like he must have forcefully claimed to be Injured not to play because he wants an improvement in what he receives as salary

Sheffield Utd vs Middlesbrough
I would be careful with Sheffield Utd for this round, they play hard match against Middlesbrough another team that is in great form now and they have Apkom, best goal scorer in Championship.
I think there is good chance both teams will score in this match and for me this is best bet I could make, but we could see surprise result.
This could be one of the last chances for Middlesbrough to try and attack second place position and direct Premier League promotion.
My Bet: Both Teams To Score.
It might end up been a closed game where both teams play carefully to avoid making errors. If this be the case then their will be no goals in that match and that is my fear.
I would also bet on both teams to score but I'm not really confident. Games like this are the kind of games that make people lose bets.

Burnley vs Watford
Few years ago this would be totally different match, but this is Burnley era and I am betting on them with this odds.
Pressure in this match will be on Watford that needs points to stay in playoff zone and chance for Premier League comeback.
With great coach Vincent Kompany I can't see Burnley losing at home stadium.
My Bet: Burnley win.

I totally agree with you on this. It's a straight win for Burnley. They might not win by a big margin but they'll win. Take nothing off Watford though, they are a worthy opponent but I still believe Burnley will have the edge because of the kind of form they're in.

Seeing the condition of Madrid in the last few seasons, they prefer to look for young players who have potential compared to players who are already old.
Indeed, they have brought in several players such as Rudiger at the age of 29, but I don't think they will bring in old players for strikers, especially considering Salah's position, in fact Valverde, Asensio and even Rodrygo have filled it so even if Klopp is there there is a very small possibility to bring Salah.

If I were Madrid I'll get Salah, even if it for a short term. They need a left footed winger on the the right wing and Salah is also a goal scorer. What they should really be looking for is a striker that can replace Benzema and I wonder why they're not looking at Vlahovic. He's got the profile for that role. If they have Vinicius, Vlahovic and Salah up front that's a very big plus for them but I don't think his name is even on their table.
Salah to Madrid is possible because players of that quality are hard to find. You can find young players to fill that role but they have to be extremely good at a young age for a team like Madrid to trust them.
1787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: February 13, 2023, 08:55:59 PM
The hot topic for the Europa league is the game between Barcelona and Manchester United but there are other exciting fixtures in the competition that I am also anticipating.

Ajax vs Union Berlin.
Union Berlin have been in an unbelievable form this season. They are in a 9 games winning streak this year and if you add the friendly matches they player during the break that makes it 12 games winning streak. They're currently 2nd on the Bundesliga table, only 1 point behind Bayern Munich.
Ajax on the other hand are kind of inconsistent this season but recently they are getting their form back. They too are unbeatable since the start of the year with a couple of draws.
It's definitely a fixture to look out for.

Seville vs PSV
This is also an intriguing fixture for me. If this match was player a couple of weeks back I would have been sure Seville would get their ass whooped but since they changed their manager they've been trying to get back up and they've been impressive. Let's not forget the fact that the Europa league is their favorite trophy.
1788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 13, 2023, 08:41:31 PM
True, therefore Dortmund must make good use of the bad situation that is currently being experienced by Chelsea. I don't even have good hopes for Chelsea's performance in the match. Dortmund must be able to secure aggregate points at home, so that when they continue the second leg match at Stamford Bridge in March, they have very good capital to maintain their advantage.

I think the major problem Chelsea are having on the pitch is that they are unable to score goals. They've scored only three goals in eight games this year's. That is a major problem and a very bad at for a team to have. You can't win games if you don't score goals.
I've been saying it since, they need a natural world class striker and a very creative midfielder. They are just signing players without signing what they really need. No matter how good your defense is, if you don't score goals you won't win games. The last time Chelsea scored 2 goals in a match was in 2022 against Bournemouth. Tht is really bad.

Dotmund on the other hand is a team that know how to score goals and except Chelsea's defense are extraordinary on Wednesday, Dotmund would score. Dotmund may not have the best of defense' but they believe in outscoring the opponent and at they moment they can outscore Chelsea.
1789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 13, 2023, 08:28:36 PM
Actually I am more worried about PSG's condition, which has even suffered consecutive defeats in two matches, namely by Monaco and Marseille. while Bayern seem to be getting better. However, this match will be very fierce. and of course it is very difficult to determine which team will be superior. But it seems I will take the risk to choose Bayern. and I'm pretty sure this match will be very exciting even though the conditions of the two teams are not at their best.

It would be an exciting match. PSG have not been amazing recently and the opposite can be said about Bayern. Bayern looked tired and done during their first few games of the year but there is a resurgence in form from them. Bayern look like the better team.
But with the availability of PSG's front trio, Messi, Neymer and Mbappe, their might be a chance for PSG. The midfield and defense of PSG have not been convincing, especially the defense.
I'm really anticipating that game because it has to predict. I just hope both teams don't end up playing too cautiously and the match ends up being boring.
1790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 12, 2023, 10:22:57 PM
All the pressure to Real now which I think clearly understands that their chances to win La Liga are real slim this time so they should most probably shift their full focus to the Champions League.

It's still a very long season so you never know. I want Barcelona to win the league but they can't relent now. They're 11 points ahead now but they should remember that Madrid have a game in hand and they also still have to face Madrid for the second leg. Barcelona have a lot of work to do if they are to win this league. Injuries are also coming at a wrong time. Hopefully they don't get any more injuries because the Europa league is about to start and the Copa dey rey is around the corner too.
They should just take it one game at a time and fight hard for it game after game.
1791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how many times have intended to stop gambling on: February 12, 2023, 07:28:02 PM
I haven't tried to stop but because it's not a problem for me. I play little, with low amounts, being aware that the odds are against me, and always with money I can afford to lose. I take it as an entertainment expense, with the difference that from time to time I come out with more money than I put in.

So, I don't have to set out to stop, and in fact, there are seasons when I don't gamble, simply because I don't feel like it or because I'm busy and don't even think about it.

This is me. I don't gamble like my life depends on it. I stake low amount that don't affect me if I lose. I've gone on a gambling break once or twice but it wasn't because I was gambling too much or because I was getting addicted, maybe it was because I was too busy at that period and I didn't have time to predict games or place bet.
I know how dangerous it is to be addicted and I think you get addicted when you believe you are one step away from becoming a millionaire through gambling .

Experience is the best teacher but it's not the only teacher, I've seen what a gambling addiction does to people so it's best I don't experience it.
1792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 12, 2023, 07:19:25 PM
There are two games on Tuesday, but everyone is focused on the game between PSG and Bayern Munich. Actually, I'm going to do like everybody else and watch this match. PSG have too many injured players. Also, we read a lot of news that there are some minor disagreements within the team. They will continue to be champions in the French league, but I do not think it will be easy for them to advance further in this arena. I think it's hard to talk about the result of the first match, but I think Bayern are the favorites of the tour.

Yea I agree, Bayern are the favorite. PSG are not a serious team. How can you have all the money in the world and not be able to afford a decent team. They're only focused on the front line. Once a couple of players are injured then the team is done.
Before the world cup, PSG looked like the favourite of the tie but right now I don't see how they can beat Bayern Munich. Munich seem to have regained their form and are really ready for PSG. PSG on the other hand keeps getting worst.
Either way, it's going to be an interesting match and I'm here for it.
1793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 12, 2023, 07:13:59 PM
With the convincing win against Aston Villa, Man City are only 3 points behind Arsenal although Arsenal have a game in hand. This is the kind of pressure I would have loved Arsenal to avoid. We all know how Man City can get at this point of the season. They can even get up to 15 games winning streak when they are in that mode. Topping with the fact that Pep is angry at the league because he feels there are direct attacks against them.

I still have a lot of faith in Arsenal and I believe they can win this. The season is still long and anything can happen but Arsenal's chances of winning the league just got smaller. If Man City wins their next fixture which is against Arsenal and goes top of the table then that's a wrap because nothing is bringing them down at that point.
1794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 12, 2023, 01:06:38 PM
Villarreal vs Barcelona

I am a bit worried for Barcelona because they lost Busquets which is got injured and he have to rested at least for 2 weeks this could be huge lost because Xavi always be playing him regularly so this might be will effect for Barcelona performance today but regardless this condition Barcelona has 15 times unbeatable in all competitions and they also unbeated at Villarreal home ground since 2007 i think this indicated Barcelona had good chances to continue their positive records from Villarreal today and i wish the replacement of Busquets will performing well today because i just pick to Bacelona win for this match with the odds @1.73

Villarreal is going to be a real challenge for Barcelona. It looks like one of those games that will end in a shocking draw. If Busquest was the only player missing for Barcelona then it would have not been such a big issue because Frenkie plays that role very well these days. He can be paired with Gavi and Pedri in midfield but the loss of Dembele is a problem. I guess Xavi will start Ansu Fati and play a 4-3-3 formation or start Kessie and play Gavi on the left wing.
I would like to see Fati given the chance to prove himself and win his confidence back.

1795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 11, 2023, 11:12:42 PM
AC Milan finally managed to return to winning ways after several consecutive defeats. Maybe for now defending the Scudetto title is a very difficult thing, but at least finishing in the Champions League zone is something that is still realistic for Milan to get.

I can't even say what happened to Milan. They were so good then all of a sudden they became really bad. Hopefully their win today can boost their morale and help them become more consistent. They have a Ucl game against Tottenham on Tuesday so they need to return to form if they do not want to be knocked out of the ucl. Tottenham are not in a very good form too but it would be disastrous for Milan to count on that. And aside the ucl, if they're to make the ucl spot they have to be more consistent.
1796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 11, 2023, 10:03:35 PM
Speaking of chelsea, I still can't tag Borussia Dortmund well enough to be a hindrance to Chelsea in the champion league round of 16. Chelsea is not doing well in the domestic league but will perform extremely well in the champion league.
I'm glad that even with their condition they still made it to that phase of the champion league and I know they will go further than that.

Are you saying this based on how you feel on based on facts? If Chelsea take their domestic form to Europe, they'll lose woefully because they are extremely poor domestically. Dotmund is a team that know how to attack and score goals and Chelsea find it hard to score many goals these days.
I believe Chelsea will some how progress to the next stage of the competition but it's not a certainty. They have to play their lives out if the want to win Dotmund who are also an inconsistent team.
1797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 11, 2023, 09:11:17 PM
Sevilla are really impressing me now with their performance. They are having a quite one-sided game against Mallorca and this has helped them get 2-0 ahead already as well.

This is really the version of Sevilla we would like to see. This is their only way out about not relegating from the La Liga. Mallorca beat Real Madrid maybe but their hands are tied against an effective football by Sevilla now. I hope to see this performance accelerate Sevilla's rise in the standings. But they need to be consistent for at least a couple of weeks first.

I am also impressed with Seville. I knew the sacking of Lopetegui was a good decision. Seville needed new air in their team. They are now playing way better than they did in the first half of the season. You could forgive them for been awful against Barcelona, I guess they were greatly outplayed in that game. Now they've managed to claim to 12th on the table which is really impressive considering how far they've come. The season is still long and let's see if they can make it to the first half of the table. A

I don't think the experience Conte has at Italian league will save him against Ac Milan
Tottenham did poorly today they didn't have control of the game as they did against city
I believe they will loss the next game against Ac Milan during the Champions League

AC Milan is not so different from Tottenham in terms of form and consistency at the moment. We saw how Milan lost their form and started losing matches which made them drop from 2nd on the table to 4th now.
The UCL match between them looks like a 50/50 match to me where any body can win. Tottenham look like the more in form team but I do not like using league performance to judge the ucl. The champions league is a whole different thing.
1799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 11, 2023, 08:01:27 PM
Kane will be the favorite of the transfer window. And if he leaves Tottenham, I think he can do well in new challenges. I think he will be successful in the German and Spanish leagues. Also, Tottenham won't feel too much of his absence. Richarlison and Son might take his position. In Real Madrid, Benzema became a new favorite after Ronaldo left the team. The same developments are likely to happen for Richarlison and Son. They are also very talented football players.

Harry Kane will be so missed if he leaves Tottenham. I don't think Richarlison and Son can do it the way Kane does it. He's a good passer, he helps defensively, drops deep to link up with his teammates and also a very good goal scorer. He's an all round world class striker.

Like I've said before, the easiest place for Kane is Bayern Munich. There he's guaranteed trophies and goals because he's exactly what Bayern lack right now since they sold Lewandoski. But knowing how difficult it would be for him to leave England if he decides or allowed to leave Tottenham, I don't see that happening.
So he can go to Chelsea or Manchester United. Any one of these two clubs is a perfect fit for him cause both teams are in dire need of his services.

I find hard to believe that Arsenal will lose points with Brentford , but I do see this as a very tough and challenging game for Arsenal just because Brentford are having an exceptional run and season so far that a defeat with Arsenal won't leave much sorrow for the fans. Besides this , Arsenal are mentally prepared to give their best in order to win EPL title this season even if what you said about their latest performance is kinda true because they didn't perform at all at a higher level but it was expected after such a godlike run. Grin
The same way I find it very hard to believe that they lost against Everton; having such a chance was belittling, but since they played with every Sense of pride, they lost to a team on the relegations?? Ohh C'monnnn...
Now they've been set to face Brentford on the 7th position, that hasn't much decent wins, -- maybe apart from beating Southampton to a pulp on their last match... Well, let's see what it yeilds....but I know for sure that Arsenal is on huge pressure this time around.
Edit: arsenal is topping the table with only 5 GD points, so I think they'll do everything to avoid losing again.

Sandra 🧑‍🦰

They are so prepared for this game Arteta wouldn't want to miss out on this game again the following week would be a meeting with City at home to if they fail to win today they still have all it takes to loss the next. Meanwhile City are at the verge of points deduction once the case been concluded they will be be going down to eight points or nine in the premier league table
