1785  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a $500 PayPal loan for 3-6 months. $700 BTC collateral on: February 10, 2018, 07:48:40 PM
Still here with my offer, not using escrow as I would not be able to liquidate the collateral if it drops below 105%.

Happy to go with a smaller amount if you don't trust me, we can keep the same ratio of collateral. We can also do it in segments if you're fine with the fees. Baring in mind I'm currently lending $700 to somebody else, and I'm a brand manager for Primedice, it would be illogical for me to steal your money.

Edit: Interest increased to 2%/month
1786  Economy / Lending / Re: 🌍Looking for a loan from 5 to 100 BTC. 25% for the year. 👔👍👍👍 on: February 10, 2018, 07:42:45 PM
I am an entrepreneur, I can take your and any bitcoins under %.
For a period of 1 year. At a rate of 25% per annum. (The minimum period is 3 months).

Somebody might say that I'm a fraud. But I have the answer for them:
Do you have a Facebook profile for more than 5-7 years? Is it open for everybody?
Do you have a phone number, e-mail in the public domain? Is it open for everybody?
Do you have a professional questionnaire on LinkedIn? Is it open for everybody?
Do you show data on the network? Do you know that it is badly to write anonymously and with impunity without knowing a person?

I have it All, and I do not hide my identity.

Also, when the Bitcoin network was flooded with a large number of unconfirmed transactions, I really helped people, who could not or did not have time to do everything by themselves! You can read my topic on a forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2686039.0

25% is not possible Huh
Look at my topic !!! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2844804.0

There has already earned more than 30%-50% per annum! in one month!!! And There Will Be More !!!
And YOU can invest money in the bank at 2-3% per annum.

Are you able to transfer ownership of the property in Moscow to the lending party?

If YOU are ready to come to Moscow, I can consider this issue.

Please provide more details on the property, what is its value, are you the sole owner, any legal obstacles in using it as collateral? Also, how many bitcoins would you want for the loan amount using this property as collateral. If it is worth my time I may come to Moscow to secure the collateral.
1787  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a loan 0.1 BTC up to 17.02 on: February 10, 2018, 07:05:58 PM

Jewelry, certificates are available.
Simply, I can not yet imagine what else I can argue as a pledge for the lender and provide, other than the above I said in this topic.

Is the $1200 price you mention the scrap value, or the appraised value?

I can give $ 1200 in gold equivalent, and I do not ask how to pay this amount.

What do you mean by gold equivalent?
1790  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do you believe God exists? on: February 10, 2018, 06:18:36 PM
If we don't believe in God then what is our purpose of living? With God everything makes sense. We have something we lived for.

Scientific progression, space exploration, overcoming disease and mortality, and eventually, creating life if there is none elsewhere.
1791  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a loan 0.1 BTC up to 17.02 on: February 10, 2018, 04:44:24 PM
If you can supply gold worth 1.3x the value of the loan as collateral then I can fund this.
1792  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do you believe God exists? on: February 10, 2018, 04:38:49 PM
i believe in God because he is my life and everything

A dangerous mentality. I notice an illiterate/poorly educated undertone from most of these responses.
1793  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do you believe God exists? on: February 10, 2018, 03:48:03 PM
I personally believe that God exist. Because if there is no existence of God then there is no existence of human. God created us for earth and the earth is created by God. The existence of God is everywhere. Rain, leaf, water, clouds, sun all says about existence of the creator and the creator can only God. That's why I always believe the existence of God.

All of these are the greatest evidence against the existence of God.
1794  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do you believe God exists? on: February 10, 2018, 12:04:05 PM
I am a scientist and I also believe in God because there are several things that happen in which science cannot give concrete prove and explanation.

You are not a Scientist.
1795  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why doesn't God simply destroy us for our evil? on: February 10, 2018, 09:57:31 AM
The answer is simple, God doesn't exist. If he does is, he is clearly either impotent, malevolent or has abandoned us.
1796  Economy / Lending / Re: Need .03 BTC loan, ETC collateral. on: February 10, 2018, 08:49:24 AM
I am up .13BTC after returning the loan lol.
Gotta love gambling.

You should be very careful, unless you're doing matched betting you could easily get burned.
1797  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do you believe God exists? on: February 10, 2018, 08:42:04 AM
It not possible for someone to be on the earth without a creator or founder. I believe in God because is the creator  of all universe and is the God that answers prayers and a problem solver.
When most people look at the world around them, they see only the trees; they do not see the forest that is there. It should be obvious that God exists because of His creation.

Good job ignoring all of the counter-points to religion, and replying to only those which support your preconceptions. There is absolutely no evidence that we were created, literally none. A metaphorical book written 2000 years ago is the best evidence AGAINST religion.

If you want to become an atheist, read the bible, you will see what kind of God these people believe in.

The theory of evolution shows that not only is it possible for life to evolve from inorganic matter, the Drake equation shows that is highly probable to occur somewhere in the universe. The fact that we have evolved to a point of self-consciousness means that by necessity we live on one of the few worlds which can and do support life.
1799  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are your favourite theory/paradox? (Preferably scientific). on: February 10, 2018, 08:28:47 AM
My favorite is the predestination paradox and my favorite take on this was on Robert Heinlein’s short story called “All you Zombies”. It was adapted into film and titled “Predestination”
(Sings I’m my own grandpa in the background)

The trailer says "You will love this film". Guess they really have a time machine. Tongue

Added it to the list.

Predestination is a brilliant movie, one of my favourites actually. If you like Predestination, you'll also like Netflix's new series "Dark", it's a German language film but has been dubbed, or subbed. Either way, it's brilliant. The Man from Earth is also a good movie with a similar theme.

Some more interesting theories, scientific goodness for the geeks;

Some of these are just random interesting topics, hopefully they'll be eye opening.

The electron that escapes the sealed chamber

Is it a particle? Is it a wave? Oh.... It's both.

The Tunguska event/Tesla's mishap

Genetic parallelism
