Dam, could you link me this miner?

So that's not a 970 and not 54 mh/s then.

There was also a beta miner like I mentioned that is giving 1.5x the performance of the old miner, but it doesn't find blocks.

I don't think that anyone is using the new Nvidia miner, it was a beta by Bitslapper, but wasn't finding blocks, so we reverted back to the old miner and that was left unfinished I remember.

54 mh/s on the 970 is really good, I'm getting that on my 980 @ 1500Mhz. Was wondering what miner you're using as I don't think the drivers would give that kinda boost.

VTC BLOCK??? --

While I was typing, I think that I hit a block with my Win 7 x64 GTX 960:

GTX 960 error result, solo-mining VTC on Win 7 x64

Unlike earlier crashes, it wasn't non-functional when found.  I am still getting the same error 18 minutes later, every 30 seconds.

I am going to go back to Quark on my rigs.  If your get another test build, I will try it.       --scryptr

Solo is broken on SP's several miners, from the newest, every time a block is found, that error pops up.

i think its time to step up to a 980ti and have a look at how this thing works .. is it better? ...  and im not asking about the hashrate Tongue ...
#crysx

I am happy with my card but it has 2 8 pin pci power connectors and can draw as much as 250-300W. Quark is hashing at 26,7 and x11 13 Mhash.

thats nice ... but the draw seems to be huge ...

i have been looking at the gigabyte g1 gaming card ... its a beast ...

http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5472#ov ...

factory oc with BETTER cooling - though the twin 8pin connector will be an issue with the psu selection ... maybe need to redesign the frame specifically for this card - as it will take two large 1500W psu ...

big issue with this is that to buy 6 of these cards in one hit is a wallet suicide - when each card sells here at almost $1200.00AUD ...

BUT - the one machine would generate more hashrate than 3 / 4 of thefarms hashrate ...

ill have to decide what needs to be done soon ... i dont want to buy one card at a time - so that doesnt leave me with many options ...

see what happens - the power draw is the main conern here ...

tanx ...

#crysx

I went with the reference design, as that gives the best power draw. Even the reference ACX's have 1 6-pin and 1 8-pin pci-e connector.

One thing I've learnt is the extra juice doesn't really help at all.

I'm doing 30 mh/s on one of my ti's and 29 mh/s on the other (Quark). 1481 Mhz and 1477 Mhz respectively.

Anyone reach 100% trust weight by now?

Makes sense Viz, your coding is great, unlike many coins/assets, haven't really had a hard fork since you guys pre-test everything prior to launch.

Right now, all one can do is sit tight and enjoy the ride.

I gotta say, I'm not a believer in that ASIC thing, that just seems to be a bunch of horse.

I've had lower and higher ASIC cards, both OC quite well, and also the higher hasn't always been the best. Basically, most of these cards OC till a certain limit, regardless of how well they're made.

From what I've seen, extremely bad cards can't even hold their factory boost clock, but then again, it's got nothing to do with ASIC.

Whats up with the rich list?  When I dumprichlist, I can see my address on the list, however the balance is about a third of what is actually in my wallet.  It was the same when i first looked at the rich list a few months back.  It looks to me as if the rich list is not accurate.

Viz, please can you explain what you have done to the diff etc on GPU channel?  I notice the reserve balance is averaging a lot higher.  The block reward goes from 63 to 39 whenever it feels like it now, it used to be when reserves dipped below 500.

How are people finding mining on GPU channel now?  I am finding it a lot harder to find blocks, however the higher block reward does compensate for this a little?  Also still getting far too many rejects still.

Yea I've noticed the higher reserves too, and the difficulty also jumped a bit, after the POS kicked in.

Although I did find ~ 70 blocks a couple of days back.

This guy needs another rig just for staking, especially if he's running multiple wallets, and it wouldn't take more than 20 - 30 watts.

Not sure what's with all the math, but just staking barely takes any cpu usage.

My wallet is stuck at block 342,409, 10 hours behind. Version 0.2.0.0 Release

I'm not sure if you were running the wallet from scratch, but if that's the case, then I also had just copy pasted from the old coinshield folder and I was good.

I believe in what Viz said that with recyclers, we can have a steady and stable price, rather than touching low and high extremes, which isn't good for any asset.

Spreadcoin is not included in this fork. If you donate 0.1 btc I can send my private spreadcoin miner release 9 with  improved hashrate.

Ahhh....  thanks for the explanation.
For clarification.. would the private one be just spreadcoin or all algos?

Just Spread coin.
