This is the first selloff phase. Soon gonna turbo rocket up.
Dont sell and get owned lol
And how would you know? Because this has happened a billion times before and we have survived every dump. It can't go on forever. This coin will be just like DRK, pop then slowly taper off. I know the devs solid English can go forever that's for sure +1

I get bad vibes from the developer. The lack of fluency in English is shady along with the totally non-English site.
Are you even in the right thread mate? Actually no I'm not. Oops. Wrong thread. Oh my aching.

What ?? Who do you think the dev is? I don't know who he is, that's the issue. I've seen his answers on various sites, and he doesn't strike me as someone who is very intelligent. I think he has alternative agendas. If you don't know who he is, how can you say you have seen his answers on various sites?

Why is nobody talking about the insanely long block times? This is a HUGE issue.
We are taking note and are aware of the delays. The network is secure and safe although some transaction might be taking longer.
Please note that we need your help in this, the more people stake, the more blocks. Also, Bitcoin sometimes has 45+ min blocks.
No big deal... I am waiting to... I think it is a big deal. IMO it is the most pressing issue to address at the moment.

We are (a few of us). A few pages back they said they are aware of the issue, but haven't heard if they have identified the root cause or not.

Good to hear that the issue is being looked at. But comparing it to Bitcoin made me lol. The current block difficulty for XC is almost zero, while it is 10,455,720,138 for Bitcoin.

Does that mean you got over 2k extra coins from staking?
No, those are the number of coins that have been staked. They don't get put back into the wallet balance until the staked block is confirmed. The value of the stake are the fractions of a coin on the right hand side of the wallet.

|
|
Yep same here, no problems with speed I transferred XC in about 15 mins. Were you sending between exchanges?
Last 4 blocs : 21478 2014-05-28 22:47:40 21477 2014-05-28 22:21:16 21476 2014-05-28 21:12:38 21475 2014-05-28 20:48:02 Even BTC is a lot more speed! IMO, this needs to be fixed before anything else. People are going to start to be extremely irritated about long transaction times. Some people already are.

I think there is an error on the website. It's written "90 seconds block time", it should be "90 minutes" Something needs to be done about that. Not sure if I am reading the time right, but the last block was one hour 45 minutes ago?

Is it worth it to install Windows wallet then transfer my 77,000 XC to it for POS?
I don't want to risk losing my coins if the wallet is not fully developed or able to be backed up.
All my XC is sitting on centralized exchanges right now, I don't want to get goxxed or poloxxed.
The windows wallet is developed, it is the anonymizer that is being developed further You won't loose your coins Is it ok to download the source from Git and compile the wallet for Linux? I did this with an earlier release and the wallet seemed to compile and run fine after I commented out the section in the pro file that says "uncomment this section to compile for windows" ( or something to that affect, can't remember the exact verbiage). It seems like it should be ok to run on Linux, but I just wanted to make sure. Actually some updates were made to github the other night that I need to revert, let me do that now No problem. I can wait for the next wallet update this weekend.

Everyone of my "Expected time to earn reward" has come and gone and I have not received anything yet. I see a lot of people asking about this. Is this the kind of "only the big guys get rewarded"?
In the ann post it says that: Min stake time is 8 hours. Max stake time is 30 days. Looks like the expected time to earn reward is just a statistical number, just like solo mining. You are supposed to find a block every eight hours, but you could go 30 days before you find one. Or find 8 in one day. It is probably just variance.

40 minutes between blocks 21188 and 21189 any idea why is this happening? Not enough people staking or what?
Hi, is there anyway we can get the developers to have a look on this issue? I would be interested in hearing why this happens also. Is it related to heavy trading when large numbers of coins/transactions need to be processed?

first payout from cryptoalts is a fact... since start they mined and converted to 44XC my payout was a measly 0.27XC after 6 hr... others better luck? .62 0.72 for me, but I started mining there before the end of pow.

I take it they know to pay in XC because of the payment address? They are mining most profitable scrypt coin then and trading that for XC, then take out fee and send balance to given payment address in username field? I think that is how I am understanding this works:-)
I think you got it. Thanks:-) Another question, or 2.........I pointed 60 of my 160 gridseeds at US Central and am seeing 18% DOA. Is this typical? Should I point my other 10 to another node or the same, and if a different one does it matter which one? Crap, I think that was 3 have you set queue to 0 and scantime and expiry to 1? (its a p2p-pool) I am using Hashra Controlla to run my Gridseeds and there is no way to add those parameters that I am aware of. Never mined on a P2P-Pool to be honest, but DOA did go down to 10% when I last checked. 10% isn't bad. Let them run for a while. They will probably settle in.

(its a p2p-pool) I was going to ask the same thing but I have never set up gridseeds before. On gpu I set queue to zero, but leave scan and expiry at defaults with good results. But 10% doa is typical on p2pool so running at 18% is a bit high.
