1781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Which play to earn and Metaverse project do you think will dominate in future on: October 25, 2022, 11:54:51 AM
Between Axie Infinity, Yield Guild Games and Apecoin which one do you think it's worth buying for long term hold? Also if you are ask to name your one to five play to earn with the metaverse project which ones will you pick?
1782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Solana be the next Ethereum??? on: October 23, 2022, 06:11:28 AM
I doubt this, solana have failed multiple times and the problem of shutting itself down out of nowhere still persists, Ethereum never had such problem in the past, I am thinking that another project will take Solana's place very soon unless the developer fix it's never ending problem.
1783  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Nigerian Leads the Crypto (Bitcoin)World in Africa on: October 23, 2022, 05:38:00 AM
Indeed, Nigerians are so into crypto and BTC but how accurate is this image of yours OP? No one knows, Nigeria consist of smart people and since the country is striving right now crypto seems like the smartest side hustle to look into, but honestly, I expect India and Venezuela to be so closer by.
1784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Trident Protocol on: October 22, 2022, 05:56:23 PM
Some bounty hunters don't know what they are doing, they are ready to wear any signature code for any project without proper investigation, I can still remember this Trident protocol and I knew it was a scam since day ONE, I was surprised that many went ahead to promote such gimmick project.
1785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to earn aside from bounty campaign and airdrop on: October 22, 2022, 04:26:27 PM
Sei Network have confirmed that they will distribute tokens to their testnet participants, this is a example of an incentive airdrop but I am not sure of others, I focus more on bigger projects like Arbitrum, Zksync and Layer Zero.
1786  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: October 22, 2022, 01:26:36 PM
I am lost, why the implementation of web3.0 when it doesn't matter to a gambling platform? I don't see how this platform have anything to do with Web3.0, correct me if I am wrong, I've tried this platform out and it's no different from another gambling platform
.
1787  Economy / Speculation / Re: My advice to you regarding bear markets. on: October 22, 2022, 12:23:23 PM
The bear market is where the real crypto money can be made, either BTC bottom is in or not you have nothing to worry about if you are using the DCA technique.

Not all altcoins deserve your money, most have no potential and they did well in the last bull season because of hype, be careful when choosing altcoins.

I believe that Metaverse and Play to earn still have some role to play in crypto space coming years, so much hype around this use cases.
1788  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's up with ranking on: October 22, 2022, 11:19:24 AM
High rank members are early to register on this forum, no more no less, you can still get a bad advice from high rank members so it's better to do your own research, there are high rank members up to legendary that have red trust for some reason, my advice is no matter who is sharing an advice with you always do your own research.
1789  Economy / Gambling / What is the best thing to do if this happens on: October 21, 2022, 10:53:32 AM
Assuming you gamble on a mid to high-rated gambling website and you won big but they refuse to pay up, what and what are the legal way to make sure that the platform pays up your money?
1790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Seeking more knowledge on: October 21, 2022, 09:24:08 AM
To put up simply, allowance is the maximum funds(tokens) that are able to be spent, if something bad happens, the attackers could have all the funds within your wallet. In case you set an allowance, let's say, 10 DODO, the attackers can only steal 10 DODO. You can also revoke the allowance, which in this case, that means the funds can't be moved without your authorization.

The term token approval or token allowance is interchangeable. You can learn more about it on https://metamask.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/6174898326683.
Thank 🙇 you Sir Owlcatz and Sir vv181, your explanation and links are very helpful, I stumbled on this while doing some research so I needed to make sure I am doing the right thing with my wallet, you've been very helpful, God bless you.
1791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gala potential? on: October 21, 2022, 08:39:35 AM
Gala is a very good project, I trust the project more than other play to earn games because it works just like the Steam Platform, one problem though, Gala games have a massive total supply and I don't like it, right now I only have 5000 Gala in my wallet but I believe the project will lose more value in the long bear market, let your entry point matter the most, this is what will define how many X you will make in next bull market.
1792  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this possible? on: October 21, 2022, 07:25:22 AM
Clipboard hacks and keyloggers are very popular but still I don't joke with my PC, avoid inserting any USB Drive in your PC, this days it's better to use Sender software to send file to people, do not plug their own USB whatever into your PC, you don't know what they may have in mind for you.
1793  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is crypto hot wallet that bad on: October 21, 2022, 06:35:47 AM
Human errors are what leads to the loss of assets using hot wallets, if you are very careful there won't be any breach, even if you fail to handle your hardware wallet properly you will still lose your assets, it's better to learn more about safeguarding your wallet to avoid losing your assets.
1794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you get over a bad loss? on: October 20, 2022, 02:00:55 PM
I lost 500$ in a minute trading an altcoin, this is the money I planned to use for buying at least three different altcoins for long term, when I lost that money it hit very hard, I kept remembering for the whole week, I believe it's not the money I was prepared to lose. I hope this answers your question, if you are able to get over a loss very quick its because you are prepared to lose the money.
1795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Listing on the Cryptocurrency exchange for $2k on: October 20, 2022, 10:46:21 AM
This is a brand new exchange because I've not heard of that name before but your listing charges shows how bad this exchange is, 2k for listing a project is shitcoin developers dream, Azbit and P2pb2b that are king of shit exchanges charges even more.
1796  Economy / Economics / Re: DCA In, DCA Out, and Taking Profit? on: October 20, 2022, 09:17:40 AM
DCA have been very helpful for me so far, my tokens amount keeps increasing since last June 2022 when BTC dumped to 17500$ since then I am used to taking profits and wait for some dump to buy back and wait for some recoveries and do the same thing over and over, with patience DCA can grow your crypto bag better.
1797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Seeking more knowledge on: October 20, 2022, 07:13:23 AM
What is the meaning of unlimited allowance in Revoke.cash website? I am a new user and I heard this website can help you terminate unwanted connections in your wallet, I tried it today and this is what I get, I don't know what I'm looking at, maybe anyone can help.

1798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mnemonic is no longer safe? on: October 20, 2022, 07:04:09 AM
As far as I use Non-Custodial Wallet, I think Mnemonic Phrase is very safe, I've never experienced any hacking either. BTW I use Trust Wallet. Coin98 has high credibility, they are on par with other Non-Custodial Wallets such as Trust Wallet, imToken and others. So I don't think the problem is coming from there.

I don't know for sure why your friend's wallet got hacked, but I think it has something to do with interacting with a fraudulent smart contract. Your friend may admit that she's never done that, but who knows?

For this problem I only have a suggestion not to use the wallet anymore, or to make sure that your friend's wallet is not connected to a project, you can check it at https://revoke.cash/, hope it helps.
I have heard about this Revoke.Cash but I don't know how safe the website is, have you used this yourself? Is it safe for any wallet users to connect to? Seed phrases are safer offline, maybe his friend copied the Seed phrase online, in mail or in PDF, I've seen people keeping their seed phrases in the most stupid places.
1799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Still mining FluX? Its kinda profitable today on: October 19, 2022, 12:43:09 PM
This is why its good to keep track of all the coins you are holding, imagine someone bought thousands of flux and lock them away waiting for 2025 before they sell, they will be shocked to hear that the coins are no more supported by the developers, lesson here is always keep track of your coins.
1800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethernity Chain Price Prediction, ERN Forecast on: October 19, 2022, 08:44:44 AM
Move your topic to altcoins speculation

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=224.0

Invest only what you can afford to lose that's all I have for you, I thought its Ethernity Cloud at first, no one can guarantee the outcome of any project so it's better to be on the safer side.
