1781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: July 09, 2022, 10:50:06 PM

Damn, too busy. Didn't able to catch the @2 odds for Magsayo win. Is the line for him really reached @2? When? That was already a decent bet.

Seems also that Magsayo winning by Decision and KO slightly decrease. As of this typing, it's @2.85 and @4.80 respectively. Or it's just around that range few days ago? Seems all options in favor for Magsayo are worth to bet.

Don't hesitate guys, let's go place a bet for our Magsayo regardless of how strong his opponent is.

We should already used on seeing a PH boxer that up against an opponent with height are reached advantage. Not a really a disadvantage for Magsayo as he also have an advantage over Vargas.

What do you think about this news? is it a good news, or a bad news?

Please share your thoughts about this one, because I read a lot of negative comments regarding this.

Since it's already there and nothing will change now, then we need to treat it as a Good News lol.

Actually, what I think Coach Chot is lacking is not his style or strategy but the hard pressure and impact he brings to a player. His fierce now gone. When Coach Tab is handling the young cores of Gilas, there's a full respect that they need to follow Coach Tab at all cost and we all know what's the result of it.

No choice but to accept it even the majority are not favor for Coach Chot. Let's hope for the best on our Gilas squad.

I already said this before, professional traders are too busy to manage this type of investment. They are serious building their respective trading portfolio and don't have time to organize paid signal groups. We are not just talking about few subscribers here but there are lots. Surely, these professional traders won't bother to spend time organizing that. It's a big distraction on their trading activity.

Use your common sense. Not all paying are legit.

1784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 09, 2022, 10:13:35 PM
There are still rumours about Lakers to trade Kyrie Irving with Russell Westbrook now. This rumours are making me really excited already. Because Westbrook's performance in the latest season was horrible. Lebron was so alone about carrying the team to victories and they had a terrible season. This must come to an end for them. This trade can make a really huge change for this team. Irving and Lebron both would be the leaders of the team and Irving is unbelievably good when it comes to scoring too.

You must be forgotten what's the reason why Kyrie left the Cavaliers. It's no secret that he don't want to be under the shadow of LeBron or even by anyone. I don't know if James-Irving tandem will still work. I'd rather keep Westbrook than signing Irving. My only issue is Westbrook's salary since it's a waste of cap but for me, I like him to stay. Irving's attitude is unpredictable and he didn't bother to think if his decision will affect the team. If only he's the only affected one then he can be an Actress all along but once he turned into something unusual, it's a domino effect for the team.

Westbrook on the other hand just needs to work on returning to his usual self. He didn't become a ball hog in Lakers, at least in most games. He is cooperating with LeBron but the problem is he is always off-night. He just needs a boost and be consistent. Westbrook has a chance to become better again compare to Irving that chances of being unpredictable is always high.

It's hard to managed a drama king on the team. Celtics and Nets knows that lol.
1785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 08, 2022, 11:51:02 PM
Just go on the next weight, no need for him to stay as he body can't squeeze to that limit and this might be one reason that he will lose in his next fight if he insist on the bantamweight. It might be dangerous for him if he go again.

Sounds like it seems easy for you to just say go on to the next weight. Casimero has a problem maintaining weight and you want him to move up lol.

There's a catchweight limit at each division and if you are referring to the literal current weight of Casimero today, that won't work as there's a weight range.

Casimero's weight is even far beyond the next weight class requirements. How can he even compete there? The wise thing to do is obviously stay where he is right now as that was his comfort zone. I'm sure his team will work on his weight problems and turn him into good shape again.

Why are we talking about firing an employee who's just concerned about his family?
Why don't we talk about how to help the addicted gamblers to minimize his gambling activity since he was just keep on losing everytime he gambled?

I think it's the call of the casino manager to either ban that person or fire the employee but I think it's not that too heavy as a consequence to just fire someone just because they want to try to help someone no matter what's their relationship on that gambler.

That's out of the casinos business. If that employee is concerned about his family, there are responsible ways to do it and not in the middle of an ongoing entertainment where gamblers are seriously gambling on their respective machine.

Why other gamblers should be involved in their mess? Didn't you realize that what if there are other gamblers there that losing too and are now serious then all of a sudden there's a yelling incident? It's fine if the argument was between again gamblers but it was started by an employee there which is not acceptable.

When you are at work, be professional and do your job. Everything outside of your work should be settled outside of it of course.
1787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Careful With Your Slot Activity! on: July 08, 2022, 11:40:17 PM
In the first place, we should control ourselves in everything because excessive use is detrimental to our health or it will become worst that make our lives ruined.

There will be really a time that a person should experience a painful thing before they will learn.

It's hard to be in the right mind if the person is dealing with a big loan problem because of their gambling addiction. We are fortunate that we are still responsible for being regular gamblers but other people don't have that behavior.

The problem is already there and I just hope that person who is dealing with a $9,000 loan and runs away will found a way to help himself.

I also hope that his family and friends are doing their best to reach out to that person as he badly needed big help from anyone.
1788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino can play a role in changing fortune? on: July 08, 2022, 11:35:09 PM
People who are addicted to gambling are never good.  Gambling depends entirely on luck. If your luck is good then you will see that from a gamble you can change your luck at one stage. But in the case of gambling, I blame fate the most. Many people have changed their destiny a lot by focusing on this gambling. Again there are many people who have lost all meaning of their lives due to this gambling. I mean this gambling depends entirely on luck.

All gamblers have luck but most of the time, it doesn't use for good. Most of the time, when gamblers feel lucky, they will push more for longer playing not realizing that the big profits that come out from their luck are now slowly depleting. Until everything is now zero. Regret and disappointment will follow. After recovering from that problem, they will come back again and plan to stop now if ever they will hit a big profit again. Here now comes their luck and they are now in profit but their plan on stopping didn't happen because of the mindset that they are lucky, why should they stop?

It's good to see that someone like the story shared OP learn to take advantage of his winnings and didn't fall into gambling addiction. But even though the story ended in a good and happy ending, don't ever think of gambling your last money thru risking at gambling casinos. Not all have the same destiny.

This is probably the worse game of Mikey Williams, looks like SMB really did a great job on defending him because he is still not in double-digit as of now. Well, the game is not over yet, let's see if he will explode in the last and final quarter.

Unusual to see Mikey Williams having that off-night performance. It looks like SMB really goes hard on him.

The scoring machine guy from TNT was able to stop by the SMB and successfully manage to limit his usual average.

SMB is now returning again to their fierce performance now especially that JMF is now doing his usual JMF thing like before.
1790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 07, 2022, 11:56:49 PM
Porzingis has good stats but if you look at his impact in the actual game, it's not that much that's why Dallas let him go. Now, that he was out in Dallas, they became a better team and they beat the Suns IIRC in the playoffs who is the favorite to win the NBA championship. I think they should also try to trade Porzingis for a younger and a healthy player/s.

Porzingis has an impact and is considered a big piece for the Dallas Mavericks but the guy is injury-prone. Aside from that, it's no secret that Luka and Porzinigs have an ongoing cold war and that's not good for the team. I think Mark Cuban itself shared that if I remember it right. It's just wise that Mavericks let go of this player but I'm sure that same behavior of him will be noticed again playing alongside Bradley Beal on the Washington Wizards.

Hoping for good health on Porzingis. One of the best players in the league that were hit by multiple injuries.

Actually, this case not from gambling sites just playing android games named "Higgs Domino"

I have searched that Android game and can't believe that person you are talking to risks a big amount playing there? The reviews are horrible and mostly worst. What on earth that person is doing and trusting that worst application game?

I just hope you are not shilling that game here. Or is your story really true?

But regardless, the lesson you have shared does make sense.
1792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Recent Experience at a Land-Based Casino on: July 07, 2022, 11:44:00 PM
If you were the casino manager would you fire the casino worker for interfering with your business or would you ban the gambler from visiting the casino?

It's a big violation committed by the employee. There are lots of people there and it created an alarm and scandal. There also might be some gamblers there focusing seriously on their gaming slots and machines and that yelling resulted in a distraction. It's frustrating for those gamblers.

Since you are there so what's happened next? What happened to the worker? Still, continue to do his work after that yelling incident? What happened to his relative? Did the nephew successfully manage to push his relative out of the casino?
1793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 07, 2022, 11:36:50 PM
Nah! I don't honestly think that Spence Jr. would accept a 40% cut of the purse, he's been already vocal about it that he should have the bigger slice as he has more belt in the table and I think Crawford will happily get that 40% though just to make the fight happen because if this drags again then Crawford will be on the disadvantage.

There is no official news released that both parties are disagreeing with the cut. Maybe there are other things that it's not allowed to share in public for now about what's the current score, progress, and status of the negotiation of this fight as it might affect the pre-planned working deals. Just come to think of it, both boxers are desired to face each other and they are very vocal about their anticipated match.

Whether on what part they are still not agreeing, that will surely be settled as they progress.
1794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 06, 2022, 11:56:51 PM
Right, that's why majority thinks that at least GGG has won 1 already against Canelo. But the judges really messed the scoring in the first 24 rounds. He was a cash cow already and that *might* just the special treatment for him.

That's the best thing that we wanted to see, the set of judges, knowing the controversy behind those two fights, should not be biased and score the fight fairly.

Honestly, that might be true. The fight is close making it easy to adjust the score for Canelo. During that time, Canelo is a money-making machine that lots of money flowed every time he fights. Losing that one will have an effect on his value at that time.

But enough of this speculation though, GGG just needs to clear things here in the trilogy and should be aggressive to do that. It's hard to fight against Canelo on the scorecard if the fight is close. It might be even true that if Canelo-Bivol is a close match, Canelo might win on Decision but it's just that Bivol makes sure to dominate every round for a clear and no-question win.
1795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Kazuto Ioka vs Donnie Nietes II on: July 06, 2022, 11:50:42 PM
but the sad part here is if that he losses this one , maybe he will also retire like the 2 famous Filipino Boxer that face defeat and decide for retirement.

Good decision to retire if Nietes will lose this one. After all his boxing career will be cemented on PH history and possibly, a future Hall of Famer. I even think he's already done in boxing after being not active in the ring for long. Don't know what came up to his mind and decided to return and his comeback was impressive as that was all a win for him.

If Nietes will lose here, I don't think that's because of age but Ioka just improved over time. The feeling of getting revenge also plays a big role as that will boost their determination to win especially since Ioka is in Japan and that's good timing to get that revenge.

About just a week to go, we will now see them clashing at each other.
1796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino can play a role in changing fortune? on: July 06, 2022, 11:45:46 PM
He had only $5,000 when he entered a casino with a depressed mind. His destiny was revealed. He earned about $27,000 with in a week.

What an amazing person he is although not on the part that he decided to gamble to save their financial problem.

It's difficult to gamble with a depressed mind and yet he was able to control that within the week and successfully managed to get $27,000. Just thinking about how he went through that week to get that profit is impressive. The fact that he decided to invest that return on the company, was a good action he did on his part.

The usual case when winning a big amount in the casino is gamblers continue to gamble more but the person in this story never went that way and decided to put the money on good and look at what he achieved now.
1797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: July 04, 2022, 11:45:01 PM
And then we have a shift of the odds again, very strange, I thought that Magsayo will remain the favorite, nevertheless this is where the Stake.com odds are:

Magsayo - 1.97
Vargas - 1.81

So somewhere, this is a huge money suddenly going into Vargas when they saw him being the underdog. So this is another great opportunity for Magsayo's supporters, because his odds went to 1.83 (still good), but the current odds is much better.

As the match approaches, I hope bookies will boost the odds for Mark Magsayo. I hope they will continue to think that the Champion is underrated.

Vargas is really a big deal as a challenger and if Magsayo will able to defeat it, that's a good recognition he will get. More big fights in the future should be expected. Magsayo should do his best and I know he will.

The time now to shake the stage again for the Philippines.
1798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 04, 2022, 11:41:25 PM
And adding to that, the SBP should also acquire players for the national for much longer preparation, unlike what is happening now where the players got short notice and they needed to ask permission with the franchise,

Who are these players you are referring to? FIBA schedules were always posted early, even several months ahead. What franchises are you referring to here?

But for me, Gilas should stay with that young lineup. There's no need for a PBA player to join the craze as sometimes, players here are more concerned about their career (as they have no choice) instead of doing the "call of duty" for the country.

These young Gilas prospects will be enhanced more as long as they are used to playing against international teams. Of course, with good guidance from their Head Coach regardless of who's the one that will take the position.
1799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons why people avoid KYC in gambling casino ? on: July 04, 2022, 11:34:48 PM
They don't trust the casino as the casino might misuse the kyc documents or the gamblers want to gamble without telling anyone that they are the gamblers,  gambling is illegal in their region or religion and they want to hide their identity or there could be any other solid reason?

Sounds like that's not making sense. Why do they play in that casino if they don't trust it in the first place lol?

Losing money is fine as long as no KYC? It's that what you meant here? From the very beginning, they shouldn't risk their money there since they don't trust it.

It's not that way. Gamblers don't want to provide KYC because it doesn't make sense to do it. Gambling sites don't work the same as crypto exchanges that's why even for regulation purposes, KYC shouldn't be mandated at gambling platforms.

Sharing a good long read.
NBA free agency 2022: What we learned during wild first weekend, from Kevin Durant's journey to Lakers' dreams

It's like the Brooklyn Nets just made an experiment but it failed. So what's next? A question that had been itching for many Brooklyn fans.
Durant wants a trade and I think Kyrie want the same.
They will be left with nothing if it happens or a roster with roleplayers unable to create chemistry or they could just stick with the plan and try the experiment one more time just to see where it will go.

Feel sad for the Brooklyn Nets that what they gambled during the time they signed Irving and following Durant failed. It's a lesson now that even if a team signed great superstars, it won't be an assurance that they will be close now to having the Larry O' Brien trophy.

After the failed experiment and the Nets did their best to improve their roster for several seasons, looks like they will go back again to their usual where no aggressiveness to sign a big name won't be a priority.

Not unless they want to gamble again, then it's their decision.
