1781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: January 06, 2017, 12:53:16 PM
Yes I can control myself when I gamble because of the rare fact that I gamble for the enjoyment and not for the money like a lot of other people.
Good, if you find enjoyment when gambling.

Control is an important factor, before I was gambling I also pray and hope get the luck that is winning. The most important thing is not to mind too think about gambling and only focus to win. Believe me, when we lose then we must think our money to donate for others.
Gambling cannot be influence by anything. Experience, expertise, and studying it will not change the fact that the odds of winning is still the same. So indeed what you must focus on is having fun with it and trying to win. Just remember two things. Do not try to make it a living and never ever gambling money you cannot afford to lose.
1782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: January 06, 2017, 12:40:35 PM
In my opinion fast increase in bitcoin's price makes investing more dangerous, since it makes more tempting for owners to commit exit scam. For example, many casinos now have over control of over 1 million USD of funds in their bankroll and anonymous owners who might vanish at any time.

i agree and we should be careful when we want to make investment in any programs. maybe we can make investment in medium amount so we don't have to be worried and we can watch our investment is grow but we must select only the good casino.

"Only the good casinos" are there bad casinos too? All of them are offering you exactly the same chances, because you lost your money on one it doesn't mean it's rigged or bad - you assumed that risk when you deposited your money. What you must look for is a safer investment. A lucky gambler can win the bankroll at any time.

Not that they are bad, it's just that their are casinos that would be more profitable than others. Some factors that affect the profitability of investing in casinos is how many bettors gamble at the casino and the tendency of the owners to run away with the whole bank roll. So you have to determine these factors before investing into them.
1783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: January 05, 2017, 03:32:01 PM
I feel embarrassed to gamble to gamble because besides illegal in my religion. gambling is also banned by my family. I gamble but in the end I do to supplement my income. does not always win. but I think gambling can make me entertained for gambling game in my opinion

Then online gambling is really for you. Here you won't be judged by anyone but yourself. Just don't talk about it outside of the online world. It would be hard though, since everybody you will talk regarding gambling would only be online people. Gambling for fun is nothing to be ashamed off though. The trick is just enjoy gambling and don't try to profit, usually you end up poor when you try to earn from it.
1784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling investment is zero sum on: January 05, 2017, 11:06:44 AM
Gambling investment is zero or negative sum, considering the house has to profit.

So why are you guys do bitcoin gambling as an investment instruments? OR merely just for the fun, like going to a physical casino.

Gambling is never an investment regardless of zero, negative, or even posit sum. Even if you give a negative house edge, in the long run the casinos will still win. People here are investing into the casino's bank roll and not really on gambling itself. More on people gamble in bitcoin casinos similar to why people gamble in real casinos.
1785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much do you think keeping logs is effective in gambling? on: January 05, 2017, 06:23:24 AM
For me I just take a mental note of how much I am gambling. I just, for example, a lot around 0.01 for the month as my gambling fund. When that bank roll is gone, I just quit for the month and wait for next month. But if that amount still remains after that month then I withdraw it and place another 0.01 as my new bankroll.
1786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: So should I make this bet with 1 bitcoin? on: January 05, 2017, 03:28:40 AM
Go all in man, there's no rush better then the feeling of going all in and winning! Best feeling in the world.

Oh, man. I'm really sorry that you are thinking that way, because it's so typical for a gambling addict. I hope you were joking though.

What I really can't understand in the OP is why it was impossible to withdraw the winnings? The OP is saying of this like it was predetermined, but why?
When I registered on their site I deposited fine of course and won some btc in a rather large bet so I cashed out.
Then just 3 days later I finally won a larger parlay for 0.495btc.
I then proceeded to withdraw the entire amount of the account when I noticed it did not go thru like the one just 3 days before did within less than 5 minutes. Then I see it was denied in the transactions page.
So I questioned online support and they said to read the email sent to me from the security department.
I uploaded the information they needed to them and then they are still questioning my account access to my requests to withdraw 44 hours later.
So yes I just knew that this would happen and did this so to see what they have to say for themselves now. They still have not responded so I do not expect them to do anything with my account as it is.

If they just gave me an answer from their representative here and not side step my inquiries from the start this would not have gotten to this point.

The only way that they can possibly have me retract everything that I have said about their reputation as a reliable and honest sportsbook site is to reimburse me the 1.16638btc which would include the 16mbtc that has still not been refunded to me under their own promotion rules since my account has been like this since monday night.

This is the problem with new gambling sites. When their bettors win big time they question the gambler why he won that much and ask so much other questions and verification. Also, there are some gambling sites that suddenly change the TOS of their bonuses and the game itself just to prevent some big winnings to be cashed out. You should file a scam accusation here and tell your story so that people would know. Just remember to get all your proofs first. So they won't be able to delete your proof.
1787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be considered a "high risk investment"? on: January 04, 2017, 12:37:53 PM
Gambling is indeed a high risk activity but it is not an investment. It's high risk because you can double you money or even x1000 it in just one second! The risk is really high and the return is too. But this cannot be an investment. Gambling is gambling. There is no way this can be investing as you are just relying in chance and nothing about investment.
1788  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I Have A Unique & Awesome Idea For a New Bitcoin Website, But I Need Help. on: January 03, 2017, 02:45:05 PM
I think it would be a problem that you only have an idea as your asset. Not having anything else would really be hard to execute your idea. Probably what you should do is that you find a partner that has either assets to invest in the idea or find some programmer that would create your idea. Then probably if you have everything planned out then create a proposal that you can present to the community so you can create an IPO of your idea.

TWENTY THREE DAMNED BITCOINS?!

Who the hell did that guy pray to? What do I have to do to get that much money? That could buy a house or a really nice car. People would totally kill for that much money. I wouldn't win that much for sure since I don't gamble too much. LOL
1790  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: INNOVATIVE & AUTOMATED BITCOIN TRIPLER PLATFORM on: January 02, 2017, 02:12:27 PM
Deposit and say good bye to your money. It may look like your money is doubling or tripling, but in truth what you see are just numbers adding up. When the time comes you want to withdraw those numbers then you would not be able to get anything. The site teaches math in truth and people pay for it.
1791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Value Odds by Granxis & Secret Of Gain on: December 31, 2016, 10:28:42 AM
Well then, good luck with you thread here. I would still watch your thread too and see if I find anything good. I hope to find some great insights from your placed bets. But maybe you could give some explanations regarding your tips so that people would understand why you are betting on the odd. Good luck again OP.
1792  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling with 0.01 bitcoin on: December 31, 2016, 10:25:27 AM
0.01BTC is enough to get you some experience in the gambling world. I suggest start with your favorite sports gambling, at least you can guess the things there. Always keep this in mind that Gamble the money which you afford to loose, doesn't mean that you will loose but never gamble the money for money. Start with a fun. Smiley

That is good advice. First try to gamble in something you completely understand and feel comfortable to play in. Sports is really a good way to start. Since people know how the game works then you know how to bet on your favorite team. You just have to know how odds work in sports books.
1793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Value Odds by Granxis & Secret Of Gain on: December 31, 2016, 10:02:20 AM
So basically this trying to find a mistake in the odds declared by the book makers. How would you do it though? I would be interested in learning this and would like to apply it on a NBA odds. How do you determine that an odd is wrong and we should bet on that odds on the sports book?

Respectful michkima

First of all, I am not looking for mistakes.
Follow my work rates and make notes, then make comparisons.
Weather conditions, player injuries, team status, rate changes are the leading factors.
These factors increase the likelihood of winning.
Yes I am recording the rates for the NBA, so I am recordings data of them.
I can share it in NBA if you want.
Again, I am not looking for errors at times.
With Respect and Love

Sorry if I did offend you, but I did not mean any harm.

I would just like to know your methods. As in your OP, you mentioned
Quote
many punters try to find a match where they believe the bookmaker has made a mistake when quoting the odds and wagers on such matches are regarded as value bets
So I assumed you were talking about finding an error.

So in reality, you are analyzing the data of every match. I would respectfully ask, what makes your methods different from other tipsters in the forum as well as outside of the forum, if you don't mind me asking.

I didn't offend you Smiley In summary my method; To rate and compare rates during certain periods and share of yours.
Alrighty then. The problem with the method though is that will you disclose the sports book you are looking at to compare rates? Another problem I see is that people who would follow your tips would have to act fast as odds in sports books change quite fast and a minute would be a game changer in your method.
1794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you care about bonuses on btc casino ? on: December 31, 2016, 09:46:28 AM
Do you care about the bonuses casino offers or play regularly and spotaneously without look at it like me ?
Not really but I tend to play at a gambling site first because of a great bonus or a promo that they are offering. I don't usually gamble at a site that I am not familiar with if I don't see any promotions or atleast a contest that they are holding.

Me too. I specially love those promotions that give out some free bitcoins when you deposit in their sites. The ones that directly send the bonus to your own address and not into your account in the casino. Rollovers of the bonuses are quite hard to get since the smallest turnover I've seen is 40 times your initial deposit or the bonus which is hard to get.

1797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: December 31, 2016, 08:07:58 AM
It was indeed a very risky than investment usual, but that does not mean investing in a casino can not be profitable. Investing in casinos can be profitable, but if done correctly. As for choosing investments in casinos must be done very carefully so that no wrong when investing, and you should probably for a short period only.

Your post doesnt make any sense at all. You cant really fo a short term investment in a gambling sites unless you know the future and you could predict when a whale is going to lose a huge amount and then you could freely take your money out once you get profit, it is actually meant to be a long term investment

Short-term is for the gamblers. Investing in casinos means that you are in it for the long-term. For sure your investment would lose in the short-run since sometimes there would be gamblers that will hit it big. But in aggregate gamblers will lose to the house no matter what.
1798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is Gambling Like Investing on: December 30, 2016, 09:07:13 AM
i think gambling is different than invest, although have the same meaning "a form of assets with an expectation of profit in future"

That meaning is too broad and does not truly reflect any of the two. Gambling and investing are extremely different. Yes both have a factor about chance and luck, but they really have so much difference. In gambling you can't change your choice. Once the game starts you already have a fixed number you need to hit. Unlike in trading, if you buy an asset it is up to you when to sell that asset. In gambling the chances of winning will remain the same regardless of being an experienced gambler or not. In trading, the more experienced you are the more likely you will profit from trading.
1799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: December 30, 2016, 08:56:06 AM
It's very simple - do not gamble what you cannot afford to lose.

This might come as common sense to non gamblers but if you look at the gamblers out there they know that they should gamble only a portion of their paycheck, but they end up chasing a multi thousand deficit and losing more money.

Set a limit to your gambling.

you are right, that is the best thing that he can do to set himself a limit whenever he's gambling . he should place a bet with the amount that won't give a huge loss, many people are having the same problem as him but they aren't doing it and mostly even they have set their limitation they used to forget it once their greediness has totally overcome them . they tend to chase their losses and eventually losing much larger amount than their initial bet .

This was my problem back then. I did set a limit, but I never did follow that limit and usually I just deposited more money beyond my proposed limit. Hence that was why I lost a lot of money gambling. Probably this is because of greed and thinking that I can win something from gambling or get back my loses. I learned the hard way that following the limit that was set should be your number one rule in gambling.
1800  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: December 30, 2016, 08:46:38 AM
I think their is no secret of earning, one you can earn through signature campaign if your rank is full member or higher , other you can give your skill for bitcoin, do some trading , so their are so many ways to earn it is upto you which is good for you to earn

You can't earn 0.1BTC in signature campaigns nowadays. But indeed, you can combine all the methods you have to earn bitcoins then you would most likely get 0.1BTC per week. It's not an impossible task, it just takes patience, hard work, working intelligently, and a little bit of luck. I think there are plenty of people earning more than 0.1BTC a week in the forum. If they can do it, why can't we?
