1781  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it dangerous if a phone used for crypto activity get stolen after formatted on: September 28, 2022, 12:04:58 PM
I've always heard from smartphone experts that files aren't always 100% wiped off memory cards, ssd, hdd or other form of memories, if my phone gets stolen for example and I have used my phone to store sensitive information like in PDF format or TXT files that consist of recovery seeds can someone get their hands on these files if the phone was formatted before getting stolen?

One of the reason why it never good to store anything important information like seed phrase, password or even bank account details since anything you put on your put can be retrievable by experts on gadgets. So better at early save your password or anything important on offline like book or anything can be access online or thru your devices.
1782  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: September 28, 2022, 09:32:12 AM

@redsun114 it’s normal to be confused about this new feature, because it’s not seen on any other casino as far as I know hence there’s bound be some confusion regarding it. @worle1bm has correctly explained it, but to get a better feel I would suggest you to wager small amounts first so you get used to this innovative concept, and only then would I recommend that you consider scaling up your bets.
Right for better understanding you can join any clan with small amounts and see how it works as it will give you more clarity on it.You also have the option of leaving the clan anytime you wish with your amount so trying is really good option if you want to know how it actually works IRL and make us more aware.

Much better to do that and it give low risk for a gambler while learning how all of this works and they can upgrade to join more bigger clans later on if they are confident about what they are doing with this. Much better also if they read more the discussion happened here because somehow they can learn something about this feature.
1783  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does anyone think it will be much harder to buy bitcoin later on down the road? on: September 27, 2022, 01:34:50 PM
Just wanted everyone's thoughts on how easy it is to get bitcoin now, and what getting bitcoin might be like in the future? For example, I can simply go on cashapp and buy btc, send to a wallet I own the keys to. I can also use localbitcoins, paxful, I mean the list is kinda endless. Will that list become...not so endless in the future as the value gets higher?
What i will encourage you is that to get your Bitcoin and hold since the price is stable in the market. And since the market of Bitcoin is fluctuating, i believe that Bitcoin have its own of propaganda, investing on it doesn't require much thing or deal, because i believe that Bitcoin have its way of increment. Just think of the future of Bitcoin and invest on it. That's my advice for you.

the future of bitcoin is still not clear, we also don't know whether the future of bitcoin will also be bullish again and reach a new all time high,
yes we are indeed required to be optimistic, but we also have to think realistically,
because if bitcoin really will never pump get to new ATH, of course we can accept it because we have a plan B

Don’t lose hope on Bitcoins. I mean it’s too early to say that Bitcoins won’t rise again.
The marketcap of the coin already proves that what is Bitcoins capable of.
Yes I too agree that it’s taking a little longer time, but trust me, the more time it takes, the more high it will bounce back.
Currently Bitcoins are at a best price, so before it’s too late, buy as many Bitcoins as you can.

Its not early but rather its crazy thoughts that bitcoin will not rise again since if we look at the past price level then compare it today we can see how much healthier and bigger the scope accumulated by bitcoin. Although we are in bearish season at the moment but all movements are tolerable and for sure in future we can see some great recovery the same on last bearish season where high ups came then it hit another record breaking all time high.
1784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can whitepaper still shows the weakness of a project and their team on: September 27, 2022, 10:22:33 AM
For newbies is a copied whitepaper still a red flag for projects? I heard they don't matter much anymore because big projects do the same thing too, if two projects have the same goals or utility one can copy the other, change some few words here and there?

What advice can you give me based on this? Is it right to say, yo any project that has a whitepaper that looks like another project is a scam or  bad for investment.

Actually yes since if they cannot give any detail explanation towards where there project heading in the future then maybe we can conclude that the owner of the project just want to rush things and plan to scam people. Because they will not give any trash contents to their investors if they are serious on their created products and its roadmap.
1785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Casino Licenses on: September 27, 2022, 08:51:28 AM
Hello,

Is it possible and legal to open an online casino without a license?
I have heard that a license only allows to put users in confidence
What do you think about this?

In new era for sure you need a license before you can operate a casino, but if you insist to do this since you want to bypass the legal matters then for sure you will not pass to those gamblers who's meticulous upon selecting a casino and ask those casino a license so that they or majority of gamblers could trust them. This is normally happening especially here so go get a license first before trying to operate a casino here.
1786  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It Is Dangerous To Completely Rely On Cryptocurrencies on: September 25, 2022, 02:19:45 PM
I think it’s dangerous to completely rely on just one thing. Whether it’s cryptocurrencies or something else. Relying on one thing would no doubt bring about disaster in the long run. Look at the earth today; we’ve relied on oil for decades and cant just switch to another source of energy overnight.
The reason why cryptocurrency is more dangerous to rely on is because of the volatility of the market,  it is something that can't be predicted.  Depending on it as a source of income you can't tell when is the next dip and how long it will last, and just imagine one who has invested all his/her money on cryptocurrency. Having another source of income will help from being panic when the market is bearish.

The scenario where we can't assure to earn passively due to volatility reason maybe one of the reason why its dangerous to rely only on cryptocurrency especially if you only know trading to earn crypto here. But if you have skills and can able to do certain jobs around maybe this will change the phase since actually for having multiple jobs on crypto can give you positive result.
1787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin island in the Philippines? on: September 25, 2022, 09:48:31 AM
All of this is nice and good or at least it sounds so.  But I wonder how many of these islands/resorts/countries are Bitcoin True or Bitcoin Fairweather?  Are they all in when the next bear market hits or will they temporarily or permanently close shop for Bitcoin.
This is what I currently thought of when I first heard this news.
It is possibly the worse time to announce a new endeavour to begin another bitcoin island.
If this term sounds familiar thats because it is!
(.....)
Exactly! For sure they are just using these kinds of phrases or ways to promote their project. There is already lof of cases like these, like "Bitcoin City, Bitcoin Country, etc."
That way seems they will lure people's attention, even just a headline on some articles.

One of the reason why I don't believe on certain headlines because for sure this will be another form of click bait for people to read their article but as well maybe to promote their project. The government have final say about this and this kind of plan will remain plan if no government acceptance especially on local will accept this plan created by certain individual. So even if this is a good plan still people need to be careful since for sure more hypes coming from it might it can cost them financial loss so they need to be careful on anything they can read on imternet.
1788  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 24, 2022, 10:13:44 PM
The SEC doing some follow-up is the reason why I said if we're going to count 1-10 the casinos that will make use of XMR in the future it will be only 1 casino which believe may be created by a privacy focus project.
The exchange like Binance has to surrender to the authorities because it's never a DEX, to begin with, but I'm surprised that they never delist Monero.
Having said that, I just want people to understand that no matter how we like privacy and no KYC for huge withdrawals on casinos since Cryptocurrency is the talk worldwide we will never escape the KYC aspect except if a privacy focus project creates a no KYC casino but if we consider the risk involved it doesn't worth it.

I think this trend will continue and probably get more extreme in the future
governments sanctioning privacy tools and people having to find alternatives if they care about privacy
it won't be different with online casinos.
The trend will always continue since there is so much potential and opportunity involved in cryptocurrency and get more extreme in the future because the world is going digital this is the reason why the US government believes they need to set regulations for cryptocurrency so they can support it totally and never be left behind.
What would you expect? Government would be always like that, they do really love on touching up everything and would be avoiding that they are letting themselves getting behind on what ever new trend or discoveries or innovations that do exist.
You could really anticipate that whenever there's new then always expect that government would really be trying out their best to have a good grip of it.
Even we do have crypto casinos that currently existing but sooner or later they would really be still heavily regulated despite on making involvement with crypto.

People need to know that government regulating the casino or any other platform is not bad because they just make sure that they are following the legal procedures before they can operate their businesses in their country and it add another extra protection to costumers because we can assure if the casino or platform is well regulated then we can say they are legit ones. Although some part of it maybe government will create laws that required us to pay tax on our crypto income but I think its still fine as long as we can use crypto and can able to continue to use the platforms we want.
1789  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Microstrategy purchased again 301BTC. Is this a sign? on: September 24, 2022, 12:53:24 PM
MicroStrategy buys 301 BTC at an average price of $19,851.00 or worth 6M$.

Everyone knows this is the ultimate bearish indicator. The price is now bearish due to the upcoming Feds meeting regarding interest rate too. Are you shorting the news? What price do you think is the bottom considering the interest rate that Feds released is too high to what economist expecting?

No one know what will be the bottom but for this news spreading anywhere maybe we should buy sell while everyone got hype from this current news created by Micro Strategy since for sure to many manipulators are using this so that they can earn while many people got FOMO on the actions they do. For now I will try to take short since its risky to think long while we are still in bearish condition.
1790  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Internet detective Shahan is likely a future scammer on: September 24, 2022, 08:23:50 AM
Actually his name is shasan, not shahan.   Grin

But I also did not see any reason to report your thread since first of all it has nothing to do with this forum.

If you want to push your business like almost every other company that should not be somebody else's business.

Is worse is Indian name. People from country turn out to be the biggers scammers.

Bitconnect made by indians.
Racist much? Scammers come from every country dude. I wouldn't condemn a whole nation because a select number of users turn out to be scammers. You should laso lock this fake accusation thread as you're not really accusing the guy of anything but pissing you off.

He will not lock this thread because he enjoys trolling people who answer back regarding what issue he want to raise and he go beyond his topic and act as a total jerk. So for sure he can't really give genuine arguments towards his claim and I guess its good to ignore this guy since he don't have any supporting facts toward his accusation to the user he mention.
1791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much money do you leave in crypto casino? on: September 23, 2022, 11:41:53 PM
If I make profit then I’ll make sure to get everything even if I gamble occasionally since I want to enjoy that profit and spend somewhere else. I guess as a small time gambler leaving some funds on the site might still be ok especially if the site is good enough to ensure your security and you can really trust the site. Though it’s too risky if we are talking about huge funds here because if I have that money it’s ok for me to pay for the fees as long as I have my money in my wallet and have the control over it.

i am fine with leaving some funds also from time to time. if you feel you need to bet some lines later on. but if not, not really leaving funds even if the casino is a very reputable one. sometimes unexpected circumstances may arise like you can't access your account for so many reasons, like you lost your phone and you can't use your 2FA, or unforeseen attack to the site. you'll never know what will happen, so better secure your funds and just transfer when you need to play.

But for sure those issue can be fix by providing our KYC details especially if you put a correct information by registering your account. This is the reason why Kyc on know casino is important so that if this issue will occur we can make sure that we can retrieve back our account.

But also if we don't do anything wrong to make our account been freeze then there's nothing to worry about on our balance but to have assurance since there are casino offer zero withdrawal free much better if you take out your money out of the platform since hacking issue is big issue need to consider so to became more safer much better to do this every time your done playing.
1792  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much do you care when you wear a commercial Signature? on: September 23, 2022, 09:49:57 PM
I care a lot about the reputation of the signature am wearing even though I don't accept responsibility for their actions, but am in constant contact with the ANN thread here, and the moment I see that the project has deviated from its original intention and has exhibited shady behavior I will not hesitate to end my cooperation with them. Because if I keep wearing their signature innocent users may be tempted into clicking my signature and if they get scammed in the process then I have contributed to that incident.

I always care about platforms reputation because I don't want scams use us to promote their business to scam other people that's why I research and listen to the community feedback before joining the campaign. If I found out that the platform have running un resolve accusation I will end up my participation because I don't want to cooperate on what they are doing.
1793  Economy / Gambling / Re: Euphoriabet.io NO KYC Crypto Esports Betting and Roulette on: September 23, 2022, 10:46:18 AM

We do not require KYC if the player does not violate the rules, we can request KYC if the player is suspected of cheating , betting on contractual matches, multi-accounting
You should know better, all casinos will ask for KYC if they violate the rules and are suspected of cheating but they are not promoting themselves as a no KYC casino, if you're promoting as a no KYC it's literally no KYC, the readers will take it as it is based on your title, you will just invite cheaters in your site because you promoted your casino as no KYC, but if they know that there is an exception then they will think twice joining and cheating the casino.

Good point, there should be no KYC at all when a site claims to have NO KYC. For me it sounds like a marketing strategy only because maybe OP know that most people in this forum against KYC, so he use that words to attract people. Yes it can be misleading because most people do not read ToS or T&C before joining a platform. In fact KYC might be asked for some specific reason as stated in ToS. Basically it is the same with most other reputable casinos in this forum. They do not implement mandatory KYC and they have a term related to KYC but they do not claim to be "no kyc" casino.
Its like fooling around once they implement KYC since they supposed to be a non KYC compliant as they claim that on their thread. So if they ask this then maybe this is a red flag because they can make this as an excuse for people who doesn't want to provide it to hostage their money if they don't do this procedure. But anyways let see how they can serve quality experience to their bettors.
1794  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BE AWARE OF THIS CASINO on: September 22, 2022, 09:23:40 PM
Always pay keen attention to a service you are going to use to avoid such disappointments. The suspected fraudulent casino has scam accusations stretching all the way from 2018. Had you looked up a few scam accusations, I don't think you would have deposited any money to them.
The fact that support has not responded to you for that long only means one thing, you have been scammed.

hi, thank you all so much for the answers. why didn't I immediately post a complaint here? Well, I was waiting for the casino's response, I placed complaints on various sites, I already went here out of desperation. now all my efforts are aimed at contacting casino representatives and withdrawing my winnings. It's a lot of money for me, too, and I was damn glad when I won it. unfortunately, I saw only good reviews on MBit and did not immediately realize that it was just fake.

Can you tell us which other sites you placed the complaints about them? I am interested to know which other platform exists for gambling discussions other than bitointalk.
Also, we are waiting for you to show the screenshot of 11,195 LTC that you won. How much LTC did you deposit by the way?

Hi, everyone! Thank you for your answers and responses Unfortunately, I just don't have enough time to constantly be on this forum and respond to all messages. Here are my complaints: https://www.askgamblers.com/casino-complaints/mbit-casino-issue-with-delayed-verification-won-11-195-ltc and https://casinoguru-en.com/mbitcasino-the-player-s-withdrawal-is-delayed. Alas, I have not been able to achieve great results so far, but I do not lose hope. I noticed that there have recently been many complaints on MBit about the refusal to withdraw money for various reasons. I think this is a great reason to conclude not to gamble there.

Forum users already know the reputation of this casino since for the series of accusations posted against them for sure it gives weight to the people to decide not to gamble their anymore. We have lots of choices to choose from and to avoid mbit is totally not a problem anymore.

Better you should move on in this issue since getting stressed for things which have slight chance to resolve is not worth it anymore.
1795  Economy / Economics / Re: Unemplyment at least 50% how world will look like then ? on: September 22, 2022, 11:45:50 AM
Unemployment will often be a problem, in my country the number of unemployment increases significantly, investors who leave because they want to find a country with cheap work wages, moreover the burden of living costs is getting higher because inflation makes many people do non -formal work.

Pandemic is one contributing factor why unemployment increase since to many business has been bankrupt and many people force to stay at home for long time. But this should not take long term because if people just find ways to live or have second option earnings they can make it, we are know evolving on new technology so if many people will adopt the demand and find better opportunity for their selves for sure this unemployment problem might decrease.
1796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much money do you leave in crypto casino? on: September 22, 2022, 10:22:53 AM
Since most of the crypto casino nowadays offers free withdrawal fee on most of the cryptocurrency sometimes immediate withdrawal after the game is very convenient now but for players like me that usually play on irregular basis, I really want to leave my balance on the casino so that I can play immediately whenever I like.

I only leave money on casino balance if it’s less than 1000$ or less but this is only applicable on casino that I used for more than a year.

What about you guys? Do you leave your balance in your casino balance or you withdraw immediately regardless of the reputation of the casino?

Only small chunk since I can't afford to sleep in a night leaving a huge amount of money on a platform which is out of my control. So I usually deposit low amount only especially if I don't have plans to play for quite long time on a casino.  Regardless on reputation still I very much careful on the amount I spend because I don't want to encounter an issue since even if the casino is reputable or a good one still they are prone to issues.
1797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: September 21, 2022, 09:38:21 PM
I havent been to this thread for quite a bit and I havent been following what is going on
in El Salvador unfortunately. I thought it was still going to be full of negativity.

<…>
As a follow-up to what I posted the other day, it seems that the whole textbook is now available in the following links for anyone to download (in Spanish):

https://github.com/MiPrimerBitcoin/Diplomado_v3.0/blob/main/Mi%20Primer%20Bitcoin%20-%20Libro%20de%20Trabajo%20(V3.0).pdf

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/MiPrimerBitcoin/Diplomado_v3.0/main/Mi%20Primer%20Bitcoin%20-%20Libro%20de%20Trabajo%20(V3.0).pdf

I looked around for it the other day for quite a while with no results, but it seems that the ONG that’s behind the textbook has made it available today through its twitter account, encouraging people to download it for free providing there in no commercial usage of the book.

I am delighted to know firstly that a proper Bitcoin education plan has been rolled out
and in keeping with the open source nature of Bitcoin the text is freely available to anyone.

Maybe at early stage of bear market condition negativity will spread because they criticize the decision of making bitcoin as legal tender. But if they understand that certain condition is normal on crypto for sure they can consider a lot of things in it. And its good that they starting to roll out a bitcoin education thing in there since for sure they can learn more something valuable by using bitcoin on theur daily transactions and other more relevant ones.
1798  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is happening with Crypto market on: September 21, 2022, 12:01:01 PM
Quote
The current market is very out of control. In such a situation of the market, every investor has a problem now. From such a high level the market has come down to the lowest level it has become a very expressive language in the mind of every human being. Why the market is going from so bad is really something to think about. Will the market ever recover?

Yes, the market will definitely recover soon because the bearish market will not remain forever, which many professional investors are aware of it in this current crypto market situation. I think, many investors are using this bearish market to buy coins and hold until the bullish market take over before they can sell to be part of those that will smile in the community. Since the green light is preparing to remain stable through out the year, for investors to know that bullish market is very close to both long term investors and short term investors to embrace massive profits from their investment.
It's true that the market will definitely recover but we really don't know when that will happen.
definitely need patience to wait for the bull market to come,
indeed when the market is bearish the price of coins tends to fall and that is why either investors or traders take advantage of it to buy coins

Normal sight to see when bear market condition occur and almost all of the crypto drop since there own holders will also get affected on market sentiments brought up by negative insights by many people. And we don't know when this one ends so the only thing we need to do is to watch and trade according to what position we get in since from this we can still earn even if the market is in bearish season.
1799  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 21, 2022, 08:22:27 AM
I think I disagree with you on this thing.  Abusers will always try to abuse the system whether the casino is on hand stopping them to abuse the bonus and promotions.  The casino had put lots of restrictions even banning or freezing the same IP accounts.  They even clearly stated their rules on both TOS and promotional rules.  It is that these abusers are getting smarter in creating a workaround to exploit the system and bypass rules.  These abusers even extend their creativity to hiring people just to bypass KYC and other stuff.  So basically the casino is trying their best not to get exploited but the method in combatting fraudsters and cheaters are limited.
Hackers and scammers are very innovative as well, they follow the trend and yes with that KYC, they tend to pay people in return of their personal identity which is also happening in my place. There’s a lot of victim with this already, and that’s why we cannot blame the site to strengthen their security with KYC level 2, if Roobet implement this, I’m pretty sure many will get mad again but sooner or later they will realize that it’s for their own benefit especially if its about security.

A reminder to anyone that they should never sell their own data's because those scammers could use their identities for what every they like and if they use the same like this then the authority will find the accused person then the person who sell their identities for KYC purposes will be sued. Maybe in future we can see that level 2 to happen if there will be many cases like this will exist on Roobet.
1800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casino Stake.com sued for $400 million on: September 20, 2022, 10:28:20 PM
It could be a big amount but I don't think it will affect the entire operation, Stake has been here for how many years and I think that is long enough for them to save a million dollars for their revenue. If there is no other way to settle the case I think to continue their business they need to pay that amount. However, I did not see any sign that because this Stake will fall, that is still a very small amount for them, they are a big company right and that has a very popular name kin the online gambling industry and I think they need to come up with this problem.

The question is, would the jury agree that $400 million is a just settlement for the demands of the plaintiff? Before the money is awarded, of course there'd be a trial, and the court will review all the details and see whether or not the complaint can push through or they will drop it. From the looks of things, Stake has the upper hand on this legal battle however that is not up to me or the articles online to decide. Pretty sure Stake would not back down from this as their statement sounds somewhat confident that they have this case on their hands.

There's no way that the court will even think of granting that kind of amount, $400 Million for a settlement? That's absurd! I cannot even imagine that the plaintiff who is a former partner of Stake seriously thinks that the company will just give what he wants. But even before they get to that point, the court will likely dismiss the case because the plaintiff didn't provide serious and solid evidence.

If no solid evidence has been provided then most provably that they dismiss the case but for demanding that huge amount of money from stake maybe freeman have legal basis on his action he do since no crazy people will just declare that crazy amount without holding anything. But let see if freeman tells truth because its up to the court to decide if his claims will be granted or not.
