There are certain games that Twitch won't be allowing streamers to play while on their platform but, it's not generally gamblers that will be out of Twitch.
That's why for streamers, they'll only have to pick another game where they can still stream without compromising and violating Twitch's rules about gambling.
As for Drake, he's got the platform and he'll be big wherever he goes, his audience and followers will go to just to watch him.
I don't think switching games will be all it needs. The streamer needs to find a sports betting-centric casino or a poker-centric casino based on the announcement, which doesn't tick most casinos since almost all of them have a variety of dice and slot games that Twitch has banned (yes, as long as any casino contains these games, they're not allowed to stream it).

Quote
So, we'll be making a policy update on October 18th to prohibit streaming of gambling sites that include slots, roulette, or dice games that aren't licensed ...

As you said though, Drake just needs to switch platforms but honestly, a loss in the audience is inevitable with that imo.
It's still Drake and he's got solid audience so that's not going to be a problem for him because we're going to see flock going with him wherever he leads them.
As I understand the rule, it's okay to place with the casino that has other banned games as long as you'll only play the allowed ones. That's how I understood it and maybe there are more clarity from what they have with the release of that statement.

<snip>
But so far as posted by Xposed they are still starting live on Twitch about 7 hours ago. It also indicates that there are still possible policies that have not been set by Twitch.
It is still good fine to stream slots until now. Based from Twitch's announcement, they will implement the new policies on October 18th this year. From the last time I heard about them, I think they said that they will soon announce policies regarding this matter. But in general, all gambling streamers, specifically slots, dice, and roulette streamers can still stream these games until the said date.

<snip>
Even if YouTube were to allow hosting for gambling content, 0% chance that survives 10 years let alone even 1 year.
I know some content creators on YouTube that solely create contents about gambling for years. Until now they're fine.

You're wrong here, Twitch doesn't ban gambling streamer e.g. Drake because he's gambling on sport betting, not luck based games e.g. slots, roulette, dice etc. The problem is Twitch banning the site e.g. Stake, if Stake separate his casino site and sportsbook site, of course they will can advertise on Twitch.

What do you mean exactly with this? If Stake, as a separate entity, goes live on Twitch that is okay? Stake is a gambling entity, and it's not safe from Twitch's ban since they are a gambling platform.
What i only understand is Drake's content on Twitch wont get banned only if he use sports betting content on his streams. Since twitch wont ban streams related to fantasy sports, poker and including sports betting.

Also, Stake wont get banned as a platform on Twitch, only the game related content like dice, slot, roulette, etc.

Gambling content, if it's allowed, might get demonetized presently, might get deplatformed eventually. Live streaming of this might be illegal now, or will become illegal eventually.

If you don't see this, you haven't paid attention to the censorship meta of Big Tech the past 6 years.

It becomes more and more abrasive with time. Unless it's celebrity gossip or some sanitized mainstream narrative, it's on it's way to getting banned.

i figure all crypto gambling streamers will go to youtube. but as you know that won't last long.

youtube will do what they do best, censor the biggest channels as soon as they are settled in.

Stunna, can you make a site thats just for crypto gambling streaming?

you would make millions from it.

i love watching slot streamers. its great entertainment.
It will take effect from 18 October 2022. By reason, in an effort to protect users from potential harm. But there are still many solutions by using other similar platforms for the media.

Why you are assuming that they won't last long in youtube? Are you expecting that youtube is going to do the same as twitch did? No I don't think so because I've seen different contents in youtube and some can even be called inappropriate but they haven't been removed up until now.

Other than youtube, there are other streaming sites out there which are not strict as twitch. They can always use that. They can also create their own streaming platform as you suggested. It will never be a problem for them since they have a lot of money. They can hire a good website developer and then run some promotions. Pretty sure that many top gambling sites or those who got removed from twitch are going to migrate there.
I am something new and I have learned a lot in the casinos, Drake is a very influential character, I think that wherever he goes, he can destroy because he moves masses, he is also very cool and that is what people like, if they say to a network similar to Twitch I'm sure everyone would fly there. Stake is the biggest casino in the forum ? they have a lot of publicity and their site is quite easy to manage, and they sponsor many athletes and soccer teams, that means that their success is great, in duelbits they are also doing things well, and little by little they are having more cvisitors, more players who want to keep coming in and winning.

I doubt that user will migrate to other platform just to follow those gambling streamers. I don't see any platform that has a rich userbase close to twitch. Gambling stream becomes popular on twitch because of there giveaways and tempting jackpot content but those users are gamers that just spend there extra time on watching on gambling. The percentage of viewership of online gambling on twitch is a small portion only to the general viewers.

We need a social media platform that decentralized so that this will not happened again. This same scenario will always repeat if the other platform is still centralized because of the regulators rules for user safety.

Some streamers creates their own website to connect with Twitch, it includes the stream elements feature of Twitch wherein you can also buy from the store of which that particular streamer is offering. Perhaps for these streamers, maybe they can just migrate to their own website if they want to pursue the gambling stream even without Twitch.

SteveWillDoIt was advertising Stake and it had been banned from Youtube (now he's on Rumble). So I think Youtube will also ban other glambing streamers from Stake if they try to migrate there.
Regarding other platforms, I don't think viewers will subscribe to a new platform just to see streamers gambling sponsored money on slots or roulette. People watch them because they stream others things usually. But I don't think many people are interested in channels fully dedicated to gamling.

They may, I didn't know that youtube was also banned, but I believe that it depends on the streamer and what they do to get the viewers. Are you telling me  that drake could stream "anywhere" and I mean literally anywhere and can't find viewers?

Of course he would be able to find some viewers no matter where he streams, I feel like Eddie could do a smaller version of the same thing, of course not as much as Drake but still find some viewers, and that means it is going to be easy to handle. On the other hand, if we are talking about you or me, then it is going to me hard because we wouldn't get a lot of viewers anywhere, so it depends on their fan base, not where they stream.

Am not sure if you are already aware of this, guys, but most twitch streamers started their journey by posting their content on YouTube. Then, they had to switch to another platform because of YouTube's strict policies and they found twitch.
What am trying to say is that twitch became popular because of those people.
If Drake has a big fan base then all he has to do is to find another streaming platform and invite his followers to follow him there.
That platform will become as famous as twitch in no time.

totally agreed on most of the posts here about  that Youtube is more worst than any online platform and I know that even if twitch banned streamer from gambling yet  they will find more accessible and more best way to make luring players.
<snip>

Perhaps for these streamers, maybe they can just migrate to their own website if they want to pursue the gambling stream even without Twitch.
if they are already respected by possible players? then they can just extend their streaming to their own platform but if not? then they need to find other places to perform their business.

I have been saying this since last year that we need a decentralized privacy streaming platform like Youtube based on the blockchain, there won't be any form of censorship and bans, the Youtube platform nearly died off in the past before it survived I don't know why we haven't seen a blockchain-based YouTube like service yet. Twitch isn't that great for content and the majority of the users are from Youtube, both Youtube and Twitch have hate on gambling and only blockchain streaming service can come to the rescue.

Youtube seems the most likely alternative, especially if they are able to profit an extra income from adsense. Actually, this kind of content is really popular there already, there are lots of gambling channels of all sizes. I don't see any other unpopular platforms growing soon because streamers were banned from Twitch for posting gambling content. Anyway, streamers making content about sports betting aren't in trouble at Twitch platform, as it will continue being allowed there, just like sports fantasy and poker as well. The only banned content are the traditional gambling games.

Currently some of the restriction also on the youtube of they think it is all against with their terms they will terminate those even though not too much gambling related they immediately remove those kind of contents else the streamers use different platform. for their promotions related to gambling and if they want to include still, they will make a short clip for advertisement and not the entire content of promotions.
Not that really much since the current issue was thrown out because of some certain streamer which is attached on gambling where they do make out some action just basing into that. They would never

intent to go into certain extent where they would be banning everything even not into those correlated with gambling. It would turn out that this platform is never been worth to do such streaming
and other related aspects.
It would be that just normal that they would really be finding another place where they could stream on if ever they get banned or prohibited on some place.
We do still have other choices left.

For sure finding another platform that is supporting streaming with the gambling is the most ideal thing to do to make sure they can promote at the same time is the gambling casino partnership with them actually right now I can't find out now what they are using because most likely im streaming and watching them with the twitch and Facebook but those highlights only unlike the stream itself.

Even if YouTube were to allow hosting for gambling content, 0% chance that survives 10 years let alone even 1 year.
I know some content creators on YouTube that solely create contents about gambling for years. Until now they're fine.
Even this time im still watching one of my local streamer is living in youtube. In my opinion all of his content never got delete by youtube. I guess youtube was taking action based on the local regulation. This local streamers already doing regular livestream for years.
I don't know what's wrong with it but it seems like that's not a big problem for me personally. I guess this can be seen easily. youtube is not so strict as people said that.

And if those streamers can have followers on their own website, I don't think it will have much effect on them because they can still provide live videos to their followers. And who knows, it could even allow streamers to reach more people to visit their website.

But whatever it is, streamers are sure to find a way out of Twitch's ban so that won't stop them from getting what they want.

As far as I know, Twitch won't really ban crypto streamers and rather will ban content streaming that involves slot, roulettes, and dice games which are streaming from unlicensed casino websites to ensure the safety of the community. They also said that they will strictly impose the ban against the referral links and codes which happen to be rampant in Twitch despite it being prohibited in the platform.

Regarding Drake, surely if ever Twitch will ban his account from streaming there, there would be plenty of platforms he can go to such as his own website (if he has any, since almost every popular personality has one) or in YouTube. They can also build discord community or their own streaming community which his followers can transfer to, to show support for their idol. YouTube might probably the fallback of most of the streamers if ever Twitch will ban everyone from streaming gambling (but I believe they won't). However, YouTube is far worse than Twitch IMO, so if ever, it'll just be a temporary haven for them. Twitch has no additional information about their improved terms of service yet, and we'll soon find out if these streamers will remain in Twitch to stream contents from licensed casinos or not.

Twitch is still hoping they can make a lot of money from that stream because they have other videos that can keep people going to their site. But it looks like sooner or later, the number of people visiting Twitch could decrease if Twitch doesn't do something about it.

Streamers can indeed find other places to put on the gambling shows that have been banned on Twitch, especially if they have a free subscription email service for their loyal viewers so they can send updates to their viewers. Well, we'll just have to wait and see what the streamers will do.

Removing gambling related streams then it would be particular giving out different impressions to other co-streamers whether they would really be affected by that or would simply ignore and stay up on Twitch.

For sure it would really make out some decrease but lets see if on how they would really be able to handle up such changes but pretty sure that they had been fully prepared and aware
in regarding on the decisions that they had made out.

Just like the rest been saying that this isnt only the streaming platform out there. There's still some other options left.
