This is a libertarian type forum. The main idea of it's management is the least possible interaction in other's people affairs. So get used to it.
But that doesn't have to mean complete lawlessness. Here where the decentralization aspect comes in - the community should cope with and police it by themselves. I wonder if one of the escrow guys would ever concider starting a full fledged bitcoin escrow website? You would enter the specific details of each transaction into a webpage. it then gives you a quote and you can then submit it so an email gets sent out to the buyer/seller to which they can commit to the transaction after signing up. Everytime the transaction is updated with shipping or tracking info it is automatically emailed to all 3 members of the transaction. Is there such a thing?

Anything but muslims
lol.... so the problem will be solved if they convert to Christianity? I dont care what ficticious religion they choose practice, as long as they dont yell discrimination as we force our countrys laws upon them.

I guess the argument they will make is that banning them wont stop them from scamming; they'll just create a new account and start over again with a fresh slate.
I understand that. So cant they block that IP address to make it a little less streamlined for them? its like shooting fish in a barrel. IP blocking someone is almost useless. There are tons of proxies/vpn's and even simpler are dynamic IP's. Negative Trust from "default trust" list will drive most of the business away from the scammer though. Even still, ban the username, along with their IP address and email address. They then have to make a new hotmail/outlook account and register again with a different IP on bitcointalk.org. I can make multiple scam accounts on ebay or troll accounts on youtube but after a while all of the verifying becomes so tedious that its not even worth the effort. We need that here. The goal isnt to eliminate scammers (impossible) its to make it annoyingly difficult to have multiple accounts.

Hi, I have a MSI 280x and a Sapphire 7950. I was wondering what would my 2 .bat files look like because I want to run 2 instances of cgminer to use the gpu's to their full performance? Thanks
7950 and 280x are a pain to run together because of the different -g values. Sell one off on ebay and buy another to match up the cards and save yourself the headache. That will allow you to run one .bat file with one setting for both cards. Much easier to deal with when tuning.

I guess its how i was raised. If there is a problem, find a solution.

Scammers welcome!
Scammers roam freely after they have ripped people off? Why does the board have moderators?
This is just like alibaba. There are no rules. "Do business with trustworthy people." "Use Escrow" Of course, but when the scammers are admitting to scamming people and continue to chat in the thread and post on the boards like nothing happened, this is ridiculous. Ive seen message boards ban people for saying the word nigger and yet someone can admit to stealing $80 from a board member without consequence.
I realize there is no way of protecting everyone. Can the board ban certain people and use their IP to make it a little more difficult to sign up using a different alias? Sure they will attempt other ways of scamming but jesus make it a bit less easy for them. Set up a BTC anti-scam account members can donate to and hire someone to monitor the marketplace.

I installed a 3rd 7950 TFIII on my mining rig the other day. It ran for a full day and now it is intermittently causing my PC to freeze. Its an MSI 7950 Twin Frozr III. I have noticed in cgminer that the frozen screen sometimes shows very low 5*C for temp or something outrageous like 342*C. Seems like its temp sensor is screwed and intermittently fluctuating is causing the computer to freeze up. Are there any tests i can do on the card? Is the sensor replaceable? Try another driver perhaps?
I have rotated the cards around and this card is the troublemaker.
Thanks

"Minion driver is now available We have completed the first version of the driver for the Minion and submitted it into cgminer. This driver has been tested and certified on FPGA. After several months of tests we have concluded that in order to achieve the best efficiency with our code, the Minion will have to run at 1.01Ghz. For this reason we have increased the number of cores from 64 to 99." Does this mean the minion/x-1 will be overclockable to 150gh/s? From the blackarrow forums... y_boonstra, on 03 Jan 2014 - 05:35 AM, said: "Is it true.. that we can overclock the units with almost 50%? as you reduced is to keep up the efficiency ?" blackarrow on 03 Jan 2014 - 01:32 PM, said: "This is not correct. By reducing the speed at the design time, the whole chip (netlist) changes." Normally, we expect 20-30% overclocking capability. Note that this is not supported or advertised officially because we cannot guarantee it."

There is no competition dude What can be bought today will never make back in terms of BTC Roi, what can be bought tomorrow (mounts later) same shit
Quick and dirty calc may diff will be around 13,824,412,552 so even at $1.49/Ghash you are not breaking even F...K
Thats a pretty outrageous prediction. How do you come up with that? 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.49/Ghash That means $149 per this one ASIC?! I do not see any product of this price on their site..?! How can this be possible and true? Sorry for my misunderstanding and thanks for clarifying and... clearance! Nah that is 1.49 USD per 1 gigahash. Actually now that i look, im not sure which product $1.49/gigahash pertains to.

Try using an actual computer to view your coinbase to confirm its not the app that is showing messed up info, then report back.
