181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO WE REALLY NEED MORE STABLE COINS? on: March 31, 2019, 02:42:43 AM
For me, more coins mean a more stable market place for crypto. This doesn't mean that I support crap coins. It's just better for most of us that there are more choices in the market. Its all up to us how are we going to scrutinize them.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you thing Cryptocurrency can last forever? on: March 31, 2019, 02:36:36 AM
No, many people can not recognize crypto currency and consider it a fraud.
Paper money looks safer Grin

Plus, there are a lot of older people who are brought up differently.
While all the heads of state will not give up paper money and will not declare the currency a single currency, nothing will change ...

But this will never happen, because everywhere there is a lot of corruption.

I think it will. All those older people will eventually, sorry for the un-humane logic, be replaced by new ones. Look at the PC computer and mobile devices. Nowadays kids are easy to teach how to use it. It seems that its already engraved on their minds right before they are born. So I think cryptocurrency will last and it will be hand in hand with fiat.

184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make profit from a dice game? Have any unique strategy? on: March 31, 2019, 02:13:25 AM
Hello everybody!! I am in crypto from 2016. But I have not much experience  about gamble. You can called me as a bigginer in gamble. Mainly I want to know about dice game first. I have visited and registered some gamble site and trying to play dice game with bonus amount. But I did not succeed yet.
So I want to know how you guys can make profit from dice game? Have any unique strategy for dice game?
I think the best strategy in a dice game is that you should be good in predicting the outcome of the dice.

Been into dice games nearly close to 5 years now, i haven't heard of prediction of the outcome of any dice game that had worked. Dice game is purely for the lucking ones and not by prediction and strategies. Is hard to know but, the truth is; nothing work on dice than luck when play on dice platform. Checkout my signature campaign and give it a try, maybe it will your turn for luck.

Prediction from a dice game really is not possible. But you can read your data on winning and check for its statistics. This same strategy is used for trading. But in trading the statistics your using is based on your self, how you manage to trade. This way you will see how often the dice makes you win. Check out how batting averages work.
185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How gambling sites can cheat you on: March 31, 2019, 02:06:33 AM

Setting up 2FA through Google or another type of authentication app also helps against cases of actual  account theft, and though thieves may simply contact site support to remove 2FA from an account after the thief has acquired the password for said account, most sites also stop withdrawals after 2FA's been removed for a day or two so you'll likely have noticed this abnormality before your funds are stolen in a legitimate situation of account theft. It never hurts to have extra security.

How are thieves going to hack an account password if it's encrypted? If it's an inside this might have been possible.
186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do none of you feel guilty? on: March 30, 2019, 03:40:58 AM
Seems like OP took a loss and have he's savings at stake. Nobody pushes anybody to gamble. It's based on your own will to win. It just sometimes doesn't go as plan, like anything in life.

Im confused why there is the option to reverify?

Reverify if in case you needed to reverify. But if you are sure it's the same address as with the device then your good to go.

Quote
So has there been times when the address on the ledger live is different from what is showing on the nano ledger s though?  Also its like you have to put it right next to each other as the nano ledger s goes by real fast for you to make sure its correct?
An infected computer or software could show the wrong address. That’s why there is the device to confirm the address. You can’t trust the PC, but you can trust the device.

if this happened to you on "that" PC then I'd rather double check the address. The PC, as TryNinja says, seems to be infected by bitcoin hacking software. You need to remove that malware or best use a new fresh install PC if the address doesn't match.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is too complicated on: March 29, 2019, 10:31:30 PM
Centralized financial companies are constantly working on solutions to make transactions between different parties as easy as possible, however, the cryptocurrency and blockchain payment solutions are very complicated for the average person to use.
Until this is put in check, cryptocurrency payments will never have a chance to overcome fist.
i think you are right, crypto transactions nowadays are very complicated, especially waiting time for confirmations, most of cryptocurrencies are taking so much time to complete a transaction, so unless we can finish this problem, we will not be able to use cryptos in daily life soon.

Bank transactions are much more complicated and it also takes time, though I think the transaction problem you are referring to is from the last ATH it's different now, because banks will need to verify every transaction manually. With bitcoin, the transaction is verified automatically and you can even check the verification progress. Plus, isn't creating a bitcoin wallet easier than creating a bank account?
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Get Rich Quick - Bitcoin on: March 29, 2019, 10:16:55 PM
Seems like a great series I will try to watch it. Well as for anything new, it is really good to invest in it. Just like the dot com explosion that got Bill Gates and many more a billionaire. But as the trailer of that series said, but it needs a lot of resources.
190  Economy / Economics / Re: How to wake up a bear? on: March 29, 2019, 10:03:16 PM
Friends, what are you doing now, when the market situation continues to deteriorate, in your opinion how to take advantage of such a serious decline in order to win at least something? Did you manage to wake up the bear and get at least a small profit? Have you bought any coins in the hope of growth in the new year? I  am only waiting for the market to wake up.

You can do short day trades to earn small profits or join bounties while waiting for the market to look good again. You cannot provoke bulls since they manipulate the market and they are the ones who only knows when should they start making the market green again.
that way we can get good results in market conditions like this, so trading and joining in the gift is indeed a good way to wait for the market to rise again

It a decline most investors would halve their funds kept half for the long term the other half for, you are right, for short trades. Long term investing is one of the best ways for now let's not forget it.
191  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Live Question on: March 29, 2019, 09:52:22 PM
Click on the receive button in Ledger Manager, it will wait for the device, plug in your device.

Once plugged-in go to your bitcoin app on Ledger Nano S device. All those check-marks will marked check and you will now proceed to the next process, Verification. An address will show on your Ledger Nano S device. Verify that is the same with Ledger Manager live and then push the right check mark button on your Ledger Nano S device. That's it.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: By far THE biggest crypto scam EVER… on: March 29, 2019, 09:36:31 PM
I think, why? Why would you rely on Bitcoin Cash and make it grow if, just as you said in the article, it will make the network decentralization at risk due to big blocks? Then bitcoin will still not be bitcoin if it is not decentralized.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth the work and waiting? on: March 29, 2019, 09:15:29 PM
So you have being wearing a signature for more that ten weeks. Each week you made more than 15 post on different thread on this forum. And just when you done with the campaign you have been asked to keep the signature for three more weeks while wait for stakes to be calculated. After stakes are calculated, it takes more than 3+ weeks for tokens to arrive in your wallet. and a month for the token to go on exchange. On exchange, all your token is worth for your hard work is just less than $50.
How do you feel?
How will you react?

This post was from last year but still is applicable and felt today or even worst. Some bounties today didn't even have a time frame. I know a campaign where the spreadsheet is not even updated for a long time. ICOs industry is really doomed because of those scam projects.
194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin in sports betting on: March 27, 2019, 08:00:41 PM
I really wanted to try gambling on esports. Now that I know there is a website that supports them, thank you, may I ask just one question before I create an account.

Do they require KYC at payout or withdraw? Are they like most exchanges?
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting ETH on: March 27, 2019, 07:51:51 PM
This must have been because of BTC's rise. Most altcoins moved a little bit too.. So I rather think this is caused, like most of it, by bitcoin as the largest crypto.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have any chance in the future recent IEO will be like as scam ICO? on: March 27, 2019, 07:47:23 PM
I think yes, on new and unpopular exchanges. The thing with big exchanges like Binance is that they will obviously protect their credibility and continuously check those IEO. This is the one thing that makes IEO launched on credible exchanges hit investors. Simply because of the trust in that exchange.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market prediction 2019 on: March 27, 2019, 07:41:00 PM
You must have got these impressions because of CMC. CMC has been manipulating its data on volume. May I ask you OP if you considered data from the websites like openmarketcap?

198  Economy / Exchanges / Re: KYC and identity theft risk on: March 27, 2019, 07:33:26 PM
Very valid point. I have already submitted the scanned copy of my passport to at least a dozen crypto-exchanges and this is something that I am not very comfortable with. I think I may have to depend on the decentralized exchanges to trade by tokens.
A dozen?! Wow. Why do you even need an account on a dozen different exchanges, let alone need to go through KYC on all of them? You are trusting an awful lot of strangers and and awful lot of unknown security systems to keep your personal details safe. That seems ridiculous to me. If I were you, I would start by closing as many of those accounts as possible, and making it clear to the exchanges in question you wish for them to delete your details and copies of your documents. There is absolutely no guarantee they will, but I would at least try.

If the exchanges are not to be trusted I think it will be hard for us to think that they actually deleted the documents. But I agree a dozen exchanges is ridiculous, given that you handed all of them your privacy. This seems to be a permanent problem for you if those exchanges are fraudulent.

I think OTC selling and buying is the way to go but escrow services are too expensive.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CoinMarketCap faking volume on: March 27, 2019, 07:22:06 PM
Though CMC has been manipulating this exchanges volume for a year now many people still use this website. Simply because it's popular and there are a lot more features than the volume itself. Though volume checking is what people came for. I wish these metrics is customizable enough.

Forget about CMC, you should use https://coinmarketbook.cc/

Buy support is the way to go.

I like this too.. seems decentralized approach for me. But for real data on "Popular" exchanges, I would go to OMC seems data is easier to rely on.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Second Attempt: Bittrex Announces Its First Initial Exchange Offering on: March 27, 2019, 07:02:53 PM
This is perfect. I hope this cleans investors doubt on investing in cryptocurrencies with Bittrex as an intermediary.

When was BreakoutCoin and did it get completed?

I think technically they have the same usage for Bittrex, they both use Bittrex to act as an escrow, but Breakout coin seems to be a straight forward "ICO" using Bittrex as an escrow? Clarify if I am wrong. Is Breakout coin an IEO?
