It's going to be tight.  But at least they have broken the silence.  All we can do is hope they bust ass and finish the project so the Neptunes ship ASAP.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: March 04, 2014, 03:39:29 PM
BitMain's S2 isn't likely to be a new generation, just an improvement to the first gen.  The new U2 has a heatsink added and that's about it.  So don't expect great things.  They may be playing the "keep some bitcoins in your wallet" game to stop you from spending your money elsewhere.

Yeah, but they are shipping and delivering, as opposed to KnC who isn't shipping and worse, isn't saying shit!
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: March 03, 2014, 02:52:36 PM
I corrected your post for you.
Now I am just as pissed at KNC as the next guy, however you do not know Bitcoinorama's situation, I on the other hand do know what is going on through a private conversations with him. I am not going to get into details except to say, I corrected your post to reflect accuaracy as I know it.

so if you're communicating with orama and you've been saying there's going to be no physical miners delivered but only cloud hashing then we should take it you know more than you're revealing.  No?

I'm sure you swore to secrecy but you should give us more of a hint if you did in fact know something that's going to help us out.

 Huh Huh Huh

+1 ! We would have more infos if you have... Smiley

Yes seriously what the fuck why can't we get a straight answer!  Angry  Making provisions for new 30 amp circuits, distribution, racks, and they won't even ship our hardware?  WHY are they doing this we trusted them and they are killing us!  Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

Good.  They brought it on themselves by being fucking assholes and screwing us over with their "datorhall"/bullshit delays.

They've turned into scumbags.

What I don't like is being so entirely staunch in one idea that any other ideas become impossible to consider

Last year I said we knc customers should be treated like shareholders in their company, as we had given knc the money to exist.

And that if your shareholders asked you for an update, you wouldn't ignore that request. During September and October, knc ignored us completely - for weeks on end.

I thought their attitude to customers was woeful, especially us October batch people who paid a massive premium for their products - who took a chance on a company who begged us to take a chance on them and promised to "never forget the help you have given us" etc.

That "never forget the help" attitude all changed when they shipped.

Their whole attitude became contempful and greedy. They seemed to hate their customers. They were shipping fault goods and making customers keep them as long as they were achieving 400GH (what was originally promised), while pretending they were over-delivering. Late and faulty and exactly what you paid for is not over-delivering. They did the absolute bare minimum to meet their obligations to customers and made it impossible to do anything about faulty goods without losing even more earnings.

I was on everyone's ignore list for saying knc were greedy and contemptful to customers in October/November. I suggested it was a bad idea to buy into Neptune (or knobtune, as some of you may remember my "pet" name for it), as it was plain knc felt no obligations to anyone but their own bank account now. Lot's of bells started ringing when they were suggesting they were making massive progress, like a 20nm project was something they could do without too much hassle, while the rest of the world was still trying to get to grips with it.

I maintained my stance about them, when pretty much everyone was again me and telling me to get lost and hurling abuse at me.

After all that, you think I should give knc the benefit of the doubt? Forget it. I could see they were greedy assholes and it's being proven again and again over the last few weeks.

If knc disagree with anything I say on here, I'm more than happy for their company representative to come on here and respectfully clarify what's going on.

In fact, I asked their Director of Communcations at least 3 or 4 times the day the "Plan B" newsletter was released to face us and answer everybodies questions. He refused. The only post he made was in the maxcoin thread. He logged in for another three days, then his account went dormant (as I said it would).

So once again, this is complete comtempt from knc and their representatives. How disrespectful to completely ignore your customers after that kind of bombshell?? Maybe he'll come back after a week, when he's had a chance to think up some excuses or lies. Maybe not.

Knc know they f#@ked everyone over and now are just looking for an entirely new customer base of cloud hashing customers (and noobs to pay for "neptune" - the name of their 6 month 3TH cloud hashing contract). They think their neptune customers are fucking idiots who can't see how they are being f#@ked over. And they offer pathetic little bs titbits for people to read into, like today's "we are getting closer to the launch date of Neptune", which says nothing but promises lot's if you read into it. And all the gamblers will be thinking "I know better than anyone else - I'll go for it" and will hand over their cash.

Naw, I'm not giving that bullshit the benefit of the doubt.

If I'm wrong and they don't mine a single bitcoin out of the datacentre until April and they deliver knobtune in April, I'll apologise to whomever I've offended.

But as far as I'm concerned - and I'm pretty much unwavering on this, having got faulty goods from them and contemptful service - knc are a bunch of greedy assholes, with total contempt for customers, who see customers as idiots and only tolerate them to take cash out of their stupid hands.

I'll stick to that opinion and I'll debate anyone telling me how great knc are. And I'll ignore people like you, for starting pretty much all your posts with a slight or insult directed at me. You expect to throw bs at me and then expect me to engage you on a respectful level? Please.

The current state of affairs pretty much to the letter.  Fuck KnC for this detestable bullshit.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: February 14, 2014, 02:20:58 PM

if you're referring to me, you dont have to be scared, i dont bite...

I bought, paid for 2 jupiters one october rig for 10k plus extortionate shipping -  it was 3 weeks late and a piece of shit!!  Still is!

A november rig that was 5k plus slightly more extortionate shipping, it was also late but a pretty good piece of hardware!

then i paid 10k plus EVEN MORE extortionate shipping for a customer humiliation deal Neptune..

and a further 10k plus EVEN MORE extortionate shipping, like they just cant get enough, for a B2 neptune which i requested a refund for on the 2nd of February. still waiting...

as for being a shill for ANY of these shitcunt financial rapists, im proud to announce i have way to much integrity & self-respect.

so that blows all your half-assed theories right out the window, and finally if its FUD you want to discuss i think they are doing and have been doing a mighty fine job on their own since their 2 fraggles decided it was finally time to STFU!

what a difference a spineless gimp or two makes, eh?!

..... Oh and hahahahahahahaLOLOLOLOLl HAHAHAHAHAHAHaaaaahahahahaha @ that shit i highlighted in red!!!

theyre so awesome you guys....

'Leave KnC Alooooooooone'

Edit2Add - i am now at 2.3Th despite KnC refusing to sell hardware they have in stock and i barely make 0.5btc per day TODAY!

Some days its 0.3!!

so tell me what our 3Th rigs are gunna be worth in march when it aint gonna be working for US...

how about in April, when theyre still hashing away with it and we aint got shit?

May?

June?

July the 1st when they kindly offer the option of cloud contract at extortionate rate vs wait til fk knows when to get ur hardware that they couldve EASILY sent to us in january in the form of 3 - 4 jupiters??!!

its not as if we havent fkn paid them yet!!

In case anyone missed it, im keeping my Day 1 'thanks for funding our entire operation now fuck you, MwaHaHaa' rig...

ive never cloud-hashed before, cant say im looking fwd to it...

Agree 1000%

This thread is getting full of FUD posted by the same few accounts over and over again.  That leads me to believe that they are either shills for another manufacture or they couldn't afford to put money down on Neptunes but wish they could.  So they want KNC to underdeliver, and do bad, so that they feel better.  It's one thing to have a strong opinion and want to share it, but to keep spamming it and shout down anyone with a positive view just makes you a troll.  You know who you are and you can pipe down a bit now.  Then, if you are correct you can quote your post and gloat.  I can see why Orama doesn't want to post.  So far KNC has been the best bitcoin ASIC manufacture so far.  So I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt to deliver until proven otherwise.

On the contrary, I had big orders with Jupiter and again with Neptune.  THEY WOULD NOT EXIST IF WE HAD NOT FUNDED THEIR PREORDER PRODUCTS.
If our assumptions re their "datorhall" and Neptune is not what is actually happening, then they need to do a considerably better job communicating.  Instead we can only conclude O'rama is not posting because Sam and Andreas have turned into greedy assholes.  What they are doing is unconscionable.

190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: February 13, 2014, 07:50:06 PM

What should infuriate you all is that while we were begging for a few upgrade modules around Nov/Dec of 2013 this plan was already underway and they were rolling off 28nm off their assembly line as fast as can be AND they were taking your money for Neptunes with one hand and reducing your chance of ROI on those same Neptunes with the other hand.

At this moment you are being robbed just a little more every hour.

We are talking adding a full Petahash and there will be another 2 or 3 right behind it.

Your Neptunes are ALREADY paperweights.

Sam went to the Josh school of customer f*cking and he got a PhD!

Indeed.  If a massive DC was always the plan, it would have been one thing to do it with private funds.  Instead they made promises, built the company and used customer money for everything.

Now they have betrayed and screwed the people who let their company exist.  Hope they can sleep at night.

We'll need some input from Swedish speaking members, but this looks like video from the new datacentre.

With machines hashing already. Mining the bitcoins to compensate the Neptune customers in July Biffa?

Not more than 5% though, of course.

It's become clear with everything that's been discussed since the most recent newsletter that this will not end well (for us KnC's customers).  They have completely betrayed us.

Sam needs a fuckin' reality check then bloody hell these guys have turned into assholes.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: February 08, 2014, 01:45:29 AM
If that's the case then fuck their hosted 3TH plan B bullshit.  If the neptune delivery slips I am getting a refund and buying BTC.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: February 07, 2014, 04:32:34 PM

Choice 1 and 3 are mutually exclusive?  Take door number 3 and never get the actual Neptune?

Yes nd. clarification on this.  Damn them I want the physical device.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: February 04, 2014, 10:30:16 PM
A simple read on plan B: Knc will give people with neptune orders 3Th of mining power that would be hosted in Sweden (probably/hopefully sometime in Q2 and NOT on July 1!. Once Neptune (20nm) is produced in Q3-Q4, they will give you an option to replace your 28nm chips with 20nm hashing chips while maintaining your hash rate (or slightly increasing it) in lieu of sending you the actual machine.

How about they give Neptune preorders 3Th of hosted mining power right fuckin' now?
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: February 04, 2014, 07:23:21 PM
For the first time I am considering a refund quite seriously. I think I may refund and buy BTC. Anyone else share my sentiment?

Yes.  This is some straight bs.  They will not sell us any hardware available now, they are taking their sweet ass time with Neptune, and they are constructing a facility that will obliterate the difficulty and completely kill any chance we had of making profit in Q3+Q4 this year.  Their NPS and newly outlined Plan B are a pair of sickening jokes.

All of this after we gave them piles of money to fund their business a year ago, and again on their 2nd product offering, this is how they repay us.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 29, 2014, 10:23:02 PM
Been said already yadda yadda yadda but selling us upgrade modules instead of full units at this point is really friggin' stupid and a waste of time.  What are those of us with Jupiters supposed to do with them?  Not all Jupiters even have the expansion ports installed.

They should quit screwing around and sell some more Jupiters for super cheap.  They have made a lot of money off us especially those of us that returned for the Neptune preorders.  Speaking of which we deserve an official update on the project status right bloody now.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 17, 2014, 07:32:20 PM
Neptunes are still very much in the preliminary design phase.

a bit smelly to get this information just one day after the last batch sold out..

I appreciate the update from Bitcoinorama but my feet are starting to get a little cold after this info. With the difficulty still climbing fast despite the failure of Hashfast and Cointerra to ship thus far, it's obvious there's a lot more incoming hashrate than I was aware of and they will ship eventually as both have working prototypes at this point. Could KNC be producing Jupiters for in house mining? It's hard to believe bitfury/gen 2 avalon could be responsible for it all...

I expected a least a little more concrete Nuptune info from KNC by this point as we're still left with a huge 5 month delivery window that ranges from a nice ROI to a massive loss for us customers that are in effect bankrolling the development of their 20nm miner. His update gives me the impression that they are not weighing the ROI of their customers in the schedule as much as they did for their 28nm development. I really hope that the "Q1/Q2" delivery is sincerely due to their uncertainty instead of intentional misleading like almost all other ASIC venders have been guilty of.

I am also really curious about what the actual manufacturing cost of a Jupiter is now that the RnD has already been paid for. It seems like it would have been a much better idea to refine their existing 28nm product which would allow them to have a 100% solid March 1st ship date as I feel a 700+Gh/s Jupiter should still be competitive by then and very easy to pull off.

I think I will wait until the end of the month and if there is still no official information about their progress I will consider asking for a refund or selling my pre-order.

Agreed on all points.  We're getting buried quick by the difficulty, and if KnC doesn't step it up so the Neptunes ship very early in Q2 we're going to be in trouble.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 17, 2014, 03:40:36 PM

...but please tell me you will at least have room in the case for standard ATX power supplies.  The tangle of wires on the outside of the machine is really quite ridiculous.  It was understandable on the Jupiters due to the time constraints but there is really no excuse for it on the Neptunes.

Perhaps, but the reduced footprint brought shipping costs down significantly. I'll pass the concern on though.

This is a MUST if we want to use datacenters. Also, server power supplies would fit much easier and are capable of higher wattages. Also, server power supplies aren't necessarily more expensive than ATX PSUs when calculating watts/$.

I'm in favor of this as well.  Something similar to the CoinTerra units.
