Depends on if you pay monthly VPS, or host VPS yourself. To configure node though you need single address with 25,000 BSD in 1 transaction.
So you only need it once for that transaction? It's not like you'll lose it? You rent a server for 5$/MO and lock 25k as collateral. While collateral is on place - masternode is working. You can quit anytime - coins are still on your wallet. Configuration is pretty easy - look for the guide and server-installation script on github. If there's any problems - contact me. Yes and 25k BSD stays in masternode address while node is running. Node payouts will go to same address. You can move funds, but if you go under 25k BSD node stops. |

Why does cryptopia require 100 confirms for a deposit on bitsend when most for other coins it's just 20?
Can you perhaps ask them to change it?
They did also did 100 confirm increase on Bittrex when segwit was activated. Yes is very annoying, new update has been stable for months no more need for this much confirms. I agree is very annoying. The transaction from my wallet to Bittrex took few seconds and after it took many hours to confirm the transaction. Why by the way need 100 confirmations. Does anybody know? They did it to make sure no bugs and all transaction fully confirmed to exchange no issues. But, segwit implemented was months ago so not known why they do not move back down to 8 or something less than 100. |

Thank you! Now I understand it a lot better... I really just wanted to test solo mining and making sure I understand how it works. Now I also know that the difficulty is too high for a test, lol.
Coming back to the wallet... I seem to be getting this a lot. This is from the debug.log file. Wallet just starts, then disappears without opening. Only way to fix this is to delete all the files and start all over again...downloading the blocks from scratch takes forever!

EDIT: Delete the blktree folder and wallet can start again, but then it needs to sync again from scratch... Restore the folder and wallet doesn't start again
How often is this happening ? Are you shutting down your machine incorrectly ? The trezarcoin blockchain is quite small since the coin is quite new. A full sync shouldnt take more than 1 Hour...I usually get a full sync in 25 mins. This is now getting beyond stupid!!!! Everything was perfect the whole day. System crashed. Shut down, then started up again. ALL other wallets working perfectly well ACCEPT for TZC wallet. Exact same thing just happened again with the exact same code in db log. WTH? EDIT: Full sync takes nearly the whole day as my internet isn't THAT great. 10mb/s ADSL line. Make a copy of the TZC data folder, zip it and move somewhere safe. If wallet crashes, unzip folder and replace files will save time resyncing. Works when my wallet crashes. |

Since 1 of November masternodes count drop down from 360 to 230, but payments still old ~ 27 BSD/day. Why? Why YoBit does not respond to support tickets or PM on forum? I have lot of coins stuck in cold storage transfer, why can't they fix?
I am having issue with withdrawal "Transfer from cold storage". I have opened support ticket and PM warden. Anything else I can do?  The same here with me i have the same problem with over 2k WBB...confirm status is still : Transfer from cold storage... i need my coins urgently.....please yobit do something and fix this. Transfer was cancelled, coins returned, wallet was out of sync of a while though. Waited for wallet to be back online... tried transfer again... now same issue Transfer from cold storage. Please YoBit can you fix WBB please? |

Just sent some BSD to Bittrex, they now need 100 confirmations? WTF? Now it takes hours to confirm, why would they need this?
I think that's just a temporary thing due to the recent wallet update. It's not atypical for exchanges to increase the amount of required confirmations when there is a wallet update as a precautionary safety mechanism. Makes sense, was wondering that myself. Waiting for 100 confirms is a pain in the ass though lol. |
