Altcoins are dying as people are helping to pump Bitcoin. Money is travelling from altcoins to Bitcoin. It is like a pump and dump scheme for Bitcoin to try to revive the cryptomarket.
It means that not a lot of money is really coming into the market, but the money come from the altcoins market?

The idea of the possibility to exchange your coins directly in a stable coin without going on an exchange is really good.

We don't really know if it is the exchanges, bots or peoples who are manipulating the market. But cryptocurencies are certainly manipulated. You can only try to guess what they are going to do.

I don't think you can earn anything with dead cryptos. As there is no servers to maintain the blockchain alive and there is no exchanges. Just forget about thoses cryptos. I have some coins which are now dead or have never been traded on an exchange.

It is better to not store your password on your computer. Yes, it can make it faster to find your password on your computer. But it also make it faster for a hacker to get the password.

Lol, it is impossible but anything can be made in a picture with photoshop or another image editor. One XRP can cost 1 million USD too in a picture. It is nice to live in a dream.

Because most people seem to prefer to trade Bitcoin than other coins. That's why new and old projects are suffering as money only flow currently into Bitcoin.
Does thoses new traders are interested by altcoins? For the moment it is difficult to know. But a lot of them don't really care about altcoins i think. That's why Bitcoin is increasing, but altcoins don't move.

You have a lot of anonymous coins. Most of them are forks of Monero or ZCash.
Electroneum, DigitalNote, DeepOnion, ZClassic, Bitcoin Private. A lot of them are considered as scam coins (ZClassic, Bitcoin Private). Others have lost a lot of their value.
Their marketcap is not extremely low. But volume of exchange is low or extremely low.
You can also look at Shield (XSH) too. Its marketcap is less than 1 million. There is surely more new and old privacy coins. You should be careful as exchanges tend to stop the trading of coins with low volume of exchange.

Ethereum has a bigger potential than BAT as it is needed to participate in ICO. But now, some companies prefer IEO and ETH is a little less used. But ETH is still the best altcoin.

It is not so simple to do proper research. And sometimes professionnal look like bounty campagin can become dead or scam. Look for example a Envion ICO. Nobody did expect this after several months after the ICO. Doing proper research can protect you a little, but it is not 100 percent guarantee.

Nobody really know which altcoins are going to increase or not. Some are increasing compare to BTC and some are just following Bitcoin. We need to wait more to really see if it really happen.

Yes, this can happen. It can make you lose all your coins. That's why you should use a wallet where you have access to your private keys.
But the worst is the disappearing of the coin. Having a coin in your own wallet doesn't protect you from this. I have witness some disappearing of coins like WhaleCoin.
And some airdrops have never been listed on an exchange and just disappeared.

Now it is time to buy altcoins it seems. It seems that Bitcoin is going to be stabilize. I hope we will see a surge of altcoins as they have lost a lot of value compare to Bitcoin.

I think it is a partial bull run, but i am afraid that this dump was a sign that it was the top price. I hope that altcoins are going to recover. But it is also possible that they are never going to recover compare to BTC. It is possible that people are more careful and trade their coins more with USDT than BTC.

I don't think there was a reason for this dump. Just some whales who think it was enough profits. I think it is going to be difficult to go higher than $14000. It is not impossible, but it will depend of thoses whales, if they are going to come back or not. And if new whales are going to enter the game.

Altcoins like Bitcoin Cash are more volatile, because there is less money being traded in altcoins. They can increase or fall more easily. Bitcoin Cash can maybe go to $1000-$2000 if Bitcoin can reach $20000.
But can Bitcoin really do it this year? With the help of Libra coin, cryptocurrencies have already returned at a good price.

It is sad for the altcoins that people are only interested to trade Bitcoin. Ethereum did lose a lot against Bitcoin since the beginning of this year. Are altcoins going to recover now?

Dogecoin now has a stable value compare to USDT. It is losing against BTC, but it might one day return to its glory as it is a very popular coin. But for the moment, it is the year of Bitcoin.

It is tempting to sell altcoins for Bitcoin, as Bitcoin is dominating the market and altcoins are plumetting against Bitcoin. The strongest altcoins are falling too compare to BTC. But i think one day this might stop and we should see a reversal after.
