i think he means 850 m usd lost on marketcap of bitcoins but i think that was only small when compare to the total market of bitcoin which was billions . i didnt saw a noticeable decrease today so i think this cannot cause a correction . what happen instead was only a minor decline which was still normal because some people sells thier coins from time to time . I am curious what is the OP's reaction now that btc is going up?
if he is a hater then his reaction will be bad but if he is one of us that supports bitcoin then his reaction would be great . |

THe anonymity is a problem. Many individuals here that has taken a lot of courage to scam users. This because the identity are not known and the best way for the hackers to be free from any traces to be known when they have done hacking or scamming activity. I just wish that this feature of cryptocurrency will be remove.
decentralized and anonymous was main feature from cryptocurrency market.as we know in each transaction in blockchain could not tracked.it just contain tx has transaction .moreover if hackers selling their hacking result in dex exchanges.no solution to track them. alot of cryptos are not fully anonymous . one example of that is bitcoin where you can still be traced if they search and follow your public address but if the bitcoin is mixed using a mixing service , that would not be traceable anymore . bitcoin or cryptos anonimity is not really a problem but its an advantage because people can have a freedom . i think what we only lack is the knowledge on why some people are falsely believe that bitcoin is bad and not legit . |

Even if we change to a new and innovative exchange such as IEO, we must also consider to know more about it. I mean money business is not a joke, that you would invest in an exchange and give your 100 percent trust that your money would give you so much profit. What i like to say is there should always be a 50/50 trust situation and not giving all of your trust to any exchange whereas scam can be practiced.
of course . that's why there is a saying " invest only what you can afford to loose " because all investments are risky no matter how trusted or secure the company or the project that you will be investing with . and what is the point of investing on newer exchange's ( ieo ) where you can always go for the trusted exchanges ( ieo ) such as binance , kuckoin , houbi and others alike ..... |

That's why i buy bitcoin cash with my money every month, i actually same like you, spend some money to buy crypto every month but not big amount $100 like you, only $20 or even less. My understanding for IEOs is basically instead of project handling raising funds etc. It will be for an exchange to do so.
I think the funds that will be collected will still go for the development of the exchange . so i think ieo's dont really differ from an ico . An IEO hosted by Yobit or Binance can clearly not be compared. In other words, the exchange gives more credibility to the project regardless of whether it's worth it or not.
Yes . people will only be basing on good exchange so that they will have a confident that they wont be scam and they can also gain confident that their investment will grow . Am I the only one who thinks this is actually a bad thing

Afaik bitcoin already reach 6k last week but now we are on the new month ( may ) . the price of btc was currently sitting at 5,700 + usd and everyone is expecting that the price can climb up to 6k usd again based on the movement of bitcoin . Yes I think bitcoin can reach $6000 this month. This is not impossible. Because you see the number of investors now and the huge number of merchant and company that already accepting bitcoin as a payment
Number of investor or the number of development are nothing against the volatile nature of bitcoin . even all of us are expecting that bitcoin can possibly reach 6k usd , still there is a possibility that the price could nose dive and will move in a reverse fashion . |

No you gotta be kidding me . believe that there is no such thing that a coin can skyrocket up to 100x times not even bitcoin . bitcoin can only pump for up to 3x to 5x times of its current value . its also almost impossible to find a coin that can easily pump since all crypto coins are verry unpredictable and are prone to market manipulation . your best bet is to only stick on the trusted and well known coins such as bitcoin and bitcoincash because they are more prone to price increases

investing on some crypto coins out there does not mean that you are chasing/looking for another bitcoin or or the next bitcoin . the only reason on why you invest on something else is because you wanted to earn extra profit aside from your current bitcoin investment but ive also seen a couple of threads saying that there is a coin that could potentially turn to be the next bitcoin but of course people wont easily believe on those claims because bitcoin is the only one and the original bitcoin .

Bitcoin and fiat are both currency but gold is not . bitcoin and gold are both an investment asset but fiat is not . by looking at my analysis you can clearly see that bitcoin can work for both currency and asset use .so bitcoin is i think the winner between the three of them . But but but .... The only disadvantage i think of bitcoin is bitcoin dont have a physical form while gold and fiat do have their own offline version . and fiat is still the king when it comes to offline transactions . while gold is still the king when it comes to offline investments |

Yes because market cap or demand says it all . the coin cant be on top if its value is only small but it isnt only the price that matter the most . coin usage is also important . We know that Ethereum's supply is unlimited so its inflationary meaning its hard for it to top Bitcoin's market cap although there is a possibility that it can (maybe 1% chance or lower).
oh really ? i didnt know that before . all of the time i thought that eth's supply do have a limit and dogecoin is the one and only crypto that has unlimited supply but thanks for the info by the way . anyway , they say that the higher the supply means the higher the chance that a coin can rise , one example for that is doge coin . First of all , there is no such thing as steady here in crypto as we all know that cryptos are volatile . second of all , i prefer the unexpected pump than a slow gradual price and i believe everyone will agree on me because that is the only time that we can sell our coins at a good price . third of all , ill still be satisfied no matter what happens to bitcoin whether there will be no more higher pumps that can occur in the future .

Well, let me explain according to my own opinion:
When price increases, it means bitcoin has more value in usd, so logically value of fee in usd rises too.
what's the connection of usd to bitcoin ? you mean the fees are payed in usd ? fees are actually measured on bitcoins while other wallets/exchanges measure the fees in usd or other local currency depending on what country you are in . But also when price rises, demand increases too but supply continues to grow as usual. When demand increases, number of transactions increases too which means in order to get confirmation quickly, you have to pay high fee.
the dump or the bear is the one that can trigger demand although some people are still/also buying when they see that the price of cyptos are growing . demand increases too but supply continues to grow as usual when demand increase , isnt it the supply decreases ? |

The block chain and cryptocurrency adoption should be inherited in gaming platform such as those famous game developers and operators: Garena, Riot, Origin, Steam and etc. there are more money there
other game companies that you mentioned above are infact supporting crypto payments before and one of them is steam but i heard that steam postponed thier partnership with crypto . idk the exact reason but i think it might be the unstability of crypto as a payment method . while other game companies might yet planning if theyl soon accept crypto or not . I think it is much convenient to just rely on crypto about the funding of game credits.
relying alone on crypto isnt a good idea because not all can be able to use a crypto . |

Bounty managers are not responsible for the scam projects IMO.
depends on the manager . some writes a disclaimer or a notice before they start a campaign that they are not responsible if what happens with the campaign while other managers didnt bother to write this stuff's . if the campaign turns unto scam or wont pay . he/she the manager is and the campaign owner are both responsible for that . Which bounty manager with mind will take the scam project bounty campaign for ruining his reputation?
many managers on this forum did that before , idk if there are still manager that do this silly things . they risk thier reputation for a huge pay on the campaign that they manage . |

not all digital currency are anonymous because when you say digital currency you are reffering to all online payment methods such as paypal , payza , skrill and also cryptocurrency , etc... only cryptos are known to be anonymous . |

I think if you invest now in Bitcoin, then you can have a future profitability of more than 20% per year.
Per year ? No i dont believe you . last year was a proof that you cant earn 20% per year because last year all cryptos are in hibernation mode . not just last year but also on other previous years . bitcoin is unstable but its still profitable just dont calculate your potential earnings because you will only get dissapointed at the end if ever your calculations failed you . Altcoins, it seems to me, are now dangerous for investment.

I appreciate your opinion, but I don't think that is possible with new coins that use the ethereum network because the coins that use the ethereum network for their price will follow ethereum, moreover you say you will pass bitcoin in such a short time it feels impossible.
there is a popular saying that all alts/toks are always following the price of bitcoin but in my opinion alts/toks can possibly surpass bitcoin if there will be a dedicated investor or whale to pump them . yet there will be no more bitcoin because bitcoin is only the one and the original even if some alts/toks will surpass the value of btc . snip .....

what do you mean by line's ? headlines ( news ) or line of the people that are buying bitcoin's ? or line of the price ? there is a sign that the price of bitcoin will go up and it did actually happen , the price go up after a day or two but the price went down again . good thing that the price are now stable again . Try to buy on a regular interval if your unsure what the price will do.
why buy on a regular interval if you are unsure about the price ? isnt that a risky move ? for other unkown cryptos maybe but in the case of bitcoin . i think its okay to face the risk because bitcoin is already proven that its price can recover and can grow more in the long run . |
