I want to put 100$ in crypto currencies every month. Which coins in general would you recommend for mid- to longterm investment? Which coin should I choose this month?
I already have some of these coins: Waves, VEN, SRAT, SNGLS, NEO, ICX, DBC.

Thats a rare suggestion you got there buddy  . bch is not always been suggested when someone ask for recomendation on what are the good coins to invest but i do agree with it  . bch is a coin that can pump too much next to bitcoin   . @op  im surprised that you didnt include btc as your primary investment .  bitcoin should be your priority because bitcoin can give you a good income and it works for both short and long term  investment  .

I think if you want to invest in these two altcoins
but actually there are many choices if you want to invest in altcoin. I think the current situation is not as risky as the previous year, especially if you are doing a short investment or daily trading.

Always have some BTC. It is the strongest coin, and the most resistant to price drops. It's the closest thing you have in crypto to a guaranteed price rise.
After that I would say split into different categories of coin so you're covering different markets, smart contracts, IoT, fast payments etc.

Agree, I make bitcoin a portion of around 35%, the rest is altcoins namely Binance, EOS, ethereum, Litecoin and so on, for security of course sharing money in many places is a better thing.

Priority indeed the average person prefers to invest in bitcoin. so it's only natural if you still believe. just like me when I invest myself a lot of allocations I give to bitcoin are clearly profitable.

I think if you want to invest in alts that you indicate above it is better I think to make some small percentage to that and put most of your investment to bitcoin itself, the chance that the price will raise up is very high per month as you can look into the chart rather than investing and putting some on alts, I am not against with alts but investing to bitcoin is much better.

Unlike you, I prefer investment in altcoin assets, such as ethereum, EOS, and BNB. because my capital is not so big, so I am collecting most of the altcoins with greater profits than investing in bitcoin.

From what you have said it seems you in for a long term investment.  In that case you are not too concern with the initial price fluctuations.  I will advice that you buy into top projects with real life use. These types of coin usually perform well in the nearest future   coins like BNB, EOS, CND STEEM
