I am using stock bios. It is very strange. It was recognized as a r9 390 and after restart as a r9 290. My friend told me that it is because of RAM (2gb). I don't want to buy another one if I am not sure about that.

Guys, it doesn't work. I have reinstalled windows and amd display driver. When I started mining it showed me the right graphics card. Radeon r9 390, 8gb. After I have restarted and installed msi after burner, it is showing me r9 290 again. I can't understand where is the problem. Can it be because of msi, ram (2gb) or smth else? I have tested both my graphics cards and the same result...

Hello!
Somebody knows if I would be able to boost an AMD professional graphics card? (Frequency, undervolt and so on) For Mining, Yes its possible, how to do it will always depend on the card for RX480/470 580/570 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1882656.0Other AMD Cards https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1676474.0I mean is it the same as for normal graphics cards for gaming? Or I can use it just with factory characteristics?
So it means that it is a bit harder to boost the professional card but it is possible in msi?
entirely different, it requires bios mod Thank you! I will have some Radeon Pro Duo Professional, which means a graphic card with 2 rx 580, if I am not wrong? So I guess that I will have to boost the both rx 580 in the graphic card. I am just guessing. I will se more after I have the card.

try replacing trixx with smth else. I had problems with trixx and a lot of errors and they disappeared when I installed a msi afterburner.

well my suggestion for you, if you are new in mining then Ant miner S9 can be good for you with cheap price, stable profit. Much better than any other gpu mining machine
I agree. Mining with gpu isn't so profitable nowadays. An ant miner would be much better. I have 3 rigs in Ethereum since May and the profitability has fallen constantly.

Exactly. Since it is colder outside they are working perfect at 55-60 degrees with 70% fan.

It is a real dual gpu. I am talking about Radeon pro duo.

Hello guys!
I will have 12 graphics cards and I want to put them on a mother board with 12 slots.
I want to put them on an Asrock H110 Pro BTC+. I have two questions:
1. The graphics cards are dual, which means that Windows will see them as 24 cards? Is it ok? Would I have problems because of that? 2. Will it be enough to have 8 GB RAM? Or it doesn't matter when it comes to RAM?

Hello!
As it looks, electrum doesn't support BTG. I heard that I will have to export later my private keys into the official BTG wallet to get them. Ok with that.
But can I withdraw my BTC from the electrum wallet now? Will I be able to claim my BTG later if I have zero BTC on the electrum wallet with respective private keys?
|
|
|
Electrum doesn't support BTG. But! Here is what you have to do to get your BTG. Export your private keys from electrum, download official BTG wallet and import keys into it. WARNING! If you import your keys into phishing wallet you will lose all your BTC!!!
What if I withdraw my btc from the electrum wallet now? I will be able to claim the btg later when they will release the wallet?

I have 18 sapphire r9 390 nitro working for a year. I had problems just with one card but during July when the temperature outside was 40 degrees Celsius and the card had around 80 degrees. Others are fine. Now the temperature is low and they are just fine with 80% fan.

I think that Bitcoin is now overbought. Many switched on btc just to receive btc gold. Maybe not directly after the fork but in the near term I think btc will have a downside rally after the switch to altcoins.

As currently, Yobit and Bittrex supports it
Bittrex just post an announcement
In terms of perspective, i am not a fan of it as you can see although it has changes in algo consensus, coins specification.
It is still a fork of Bitcoin. Bitcoin should be unique xp
Thanks! I didn't see the bittrex announcement today. I will keep them there then.

Why yobit is the only exchange which supports btc gold? With btc cash it was different. A lot of exchanges supported it. Does it mean that they see btc gold less valuable?

I have signed on the signature campaign but I don't see my name on the list yet...

Sorry for the question, maybe the answer is obvious but I am not sure about it.
Let's suppose that I have my BTC on my computer on an electrum wallet. During the fork I have to do smth or just wait for the BTC gold to be sent in my account?
