I am hodling few coins in an exchange and do some trading. Cut losses were fine with me 'coz I'm a bit scared of high loss, I am just playing in a safety mode. But, while many are happy with the eth's continuously pumping and traders are happy to see the market's optimistic view, I am still here waiting for the Eth to drops heavily like at least $30. So, I can buy some and will experience the fruits of eth's benefits as well.  Is it possible now, to reached down it's value like that? Like hello? I've been waiting for a couple of months. Lol Am I the only one here, in the contrary of patiently waiting for eth to dump like hell? I dont think it happens because Eth already gains trust to big investors and as of this moment the existence of etherium plays significant role to ICO's especially etherium based ICO's . I also don’t think that we will ever see Ethereum decreasing to such a value ever. Such good days are gone now. However, there will be many dips in future from time to time but expecting such a high fall is just fooling oneself around. There is one more reason and that is bitcoin. Ethereum and almost all of the coins depend on bitcoin for making progress. They do whatever bitcoin does. Bitcoin will never bleed a lot. |

Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin are great boards and may be the priority of many people. But if you have to choose one of the three, I tend to choose ethereum. Ethereum becomes the most potential for the future because many ICOs use it. Thus, the demand for ethereum from time to time will continue to grow and the price will increase. I won’t criticize your choice but my honest suggestion would be to give bitcoin priority. Ethereum does not have as much support as bitcoin has. It has the largest community of investors and rich guys also embrace bitcoin first. They are supporting this coin. Ethereum totally depends on bitcoin so no altcoin is actually the real stuff. I want to buy few Altcoins which have some strong good concept and which are beneficial for the crypto world somehow.
Of course my intention is to make good profit but I do not want to invest for that sole purpose.
I would be interested in something in which I get profit by holding and not by selling when it reach a particular price.

I think in the long term to defer the need but not all and at least a small part, and gradually smaller pieces to increase your stocks for the long term. If someone is buying a bitcoin then it is not easy for him to buy a whole of it at one time but other than that, all the altcoins can be easily bought in one shot. BTC is just a way too expensive. Spending 8k to 10k dollars is not something that most of us can afford. But no altcoin is as good as bitcoin for long term investment especially the mentioned ones. I don’t think they even hold a future. |

I havebeen try many different trading since 2 years, those are forex trading, binary option and crypto trading, between all these in my opinion binary option is has higher risk than others, because when you wrong direction you money totally in lose. I prefer doing crypto trading that paired with USDT because this is more easy for me to gain profit and has less risk than others.
Increasing the amount of knowledge which you have is no doubt a very good thing and that this will surely help you in making more better decisions in the future and that you will be able to make more effective earning at that time. the best way of learning more things is to keep on learning more new things related to that of the crypto market on internet and that you need to learn more from the experts. |

Holding of other coins besides Bitcoin is not a bad decision at all as if you are not handling the Bitcoin and have not enough knowledge than you can surely trade with other crypto currencies but with little struggle you can be a millionaire with Bitcoin. ETH is also a good investment and people should also invest if they are sitting with no investments and freely moving around. Ethereum is also profitable but can not reach to Bitcoin so better choice is Bitcoin. |

Yes, this can happen if in the next few years. Currently, it is not possible, although ETH is appreciated, but they can not compete with BTC. The current price of BTC is too high, many times higher than ETH.

you can invest which how much you want even with $1 though. but remember more amount, also more profit for you. in this case i see you want to invest your $500 to buy a coin and hold it for a long term. i suggest you buy ethereum, that is a really good coin for investment i think. or perhaps try to find one of a good coin which has potential in the future and buy it when the price still cheap. I would advise him to go for bitcoin or bitcoin cash. Though it does not sound like a good idea to invest in BTC now while it has grown to 10k dollars but even 0.05 of this digital coin can bring more profits than an Ethereum. If not this, than bitcoin cash which is more volatile than Ethereum can bring some good profits.The only problem with altcoin king is it’s a way too slow. |

We also have to look at their team, their white papers and their project roadmap, and then we consider to invest in the project. That is the opinion of other friends who have commented here and I agree with them. If large volume could have produced any big profits, Ethereum would have been far better than bitcoin but things are damn opposite. Bitcoin is far above all altcoins in regard of producing profits. Bitcoin has produced millionaires already. A scarce amount plays a vital role in growth rate of any coin.Above all, I don’t think there is any need of wasting time in checking out new projects. Stick with the old ones. |

If you have $2000 then you should buy ETH, EOS, WAVES, and BTC as well.Because this coins are very stable and good for long term investment.So add this coins with your portfolio i think you will get a good profit from them.
I would suggest to go for bitcoin first because it is soaring up these days. Though it would have been a lot better if this investment was made few weeks ago when bitcoin was roaming around 5k dollars but still, this is a golden opportunity of earning big profits.Other than this, I am not in favor of Ethereum at least. There’s a high chance of a possibility that Ethereum will replace bitcoin in the top of cryptocurrency. Well, We all know that Bitcoin is the King of Cryptocurrency but Ethereum has a higher demand right now. but I don't think that bearish trend is over because, in the cryptocurrency, everything can happen and without any warning. maybe this is over but I think we still need to wait for another time to see all coins getting increase higher. we still far to see the price is back to higher price and I think it will like this for temporary but soon all coin and not just bitcoin will increase again.
By over, it never means that we will never come across decline ever in future. Digital market is still in its infancy and volatile. Fluctuations are done both way. The price grows up and falls down from time to time and this will keep on happening until there is stability in the values. But that is not very easy to attain. It takes many years before an asset becomes stable and that also don’t produce profit. |

Trading is risky but better than holding. Let’s just first differentiate between the two terms. Trading means holding a coin for as much time as someone likes to, selling it out, then buying it again. A trader targets at buying low, selling high. Holding means selling out coin for once and all. Trading generates profits from time to time while holding can yield it only once. Definitely, trading is better. |

Of course it is possible that an altcoin could replace bitcoin, however, I don't see ripple being the one to do that. Ethereum could have the potential to dethrone Bitcoin, but there are other blockchains that could accomplish that as well.
Sorry but if it was possible than why it has not happened so far. I think it has already been a long time that we have Ethereum with us. You are talking about replacement, ETH has not even come closer to bitcoin’s level. I myself am a big admirer of Ethereum and ripple. The transaction speed is 1000000 transactions per second, it folds much more than the Nano and has more advanced functions. So I disagree with your point. if you have free time, read about Credits, it will amaze you. That was so cool and here I thought bitcoin and Ethereum are assets that can be expected to make us rich. Just because these provide fast transactions which actually all digital assets do, doesn’t mean they are the right ones for investment. Besides, being an investors. The main focus should be on the amount of profit which can be earned instead of secondary factors like speed. |

Not totally going to the moon but I think the racket is preparing for the launch going to the moon, I see its progress today with +7.29% increase, I just hope this month they will reach $5 flat.
I also hope it happens so that Cardano holders might enjoy some profits after all. But it is said that this coin is available in large amounts and it may not be able to grow as much as holders are expecting to and to be very honest, I don’t find any potential in this coin that will cause it go to the moon. Even if crosses 5 dollars, we can’t call it big profits.It is just some profit after all. |
