You might be a little late to the party but metaphorically speaking the party is not over. Most of us who are here are bullish on bitcoin long term and I think that long term plan is 5yrs+. That being said obviously nobody knows
where bitcoin is going to end up and that is the beauty of it. Long story short you can probably still make a shekel or two but you gotta be smart about it and play it correct. Learn first and then trade later I would say.

Yes staking is going well there is no doubt about that but is there anything ongoing currently? I have been reading for the past week nova will add but nothing has happened yet. Btw I am in no rush to get to an exchange as I think development would better serve the project first. That being said an eta on exchange date cant hurt |

Look at the top 10 marketcaps and see what coins you like. Then from there use the % they have in the market and buy that. This makes it easier to get into cryptos before you need to learn a lot. Alternatively you can learn
a lot then hop in. The choice is yours

Episode 1
Dev announces AD #1, delivers it and everyone is happy. Lists the coin in several exchanges and the coin gets its first traction. Dev, community and traders are happy too.
Episode 2
Dev announces more exchanges and AD #2, it does not deliver to all those who join the bounty. Begins with announcements of announcements, especially that Bitrexx is interested in ETHD. Community manager steps in for 2 abundant weeks to defend the dev, stating that he's busy sending the Airdrop. Meanwhile the coin gets even more traction and is pumped over 1$. A so called WP is published and unpublished faster than an appearance of Flash Gordon.
Episode 3
First scam accusations. Price reaches ATH at $5. Dev disappeared for 2 weeks, Cm disappears as well. No sign of announcements but devoted believers expect big announcements very soon. No AD #2 delivered, but ETHD gets listed on tradesatoshi.
Episode 4
Price begins to drop (is Friday). Dev announces that he will announce something big in 2 days. It does not. Price drops to 1.5$. Announcement comes 2 days later (dev was sick, who cares of a multimillionaire project, by the way...) and it is about swapping coins and asking everyone to send to an anonymous contract address their coins, promising a 1:1 exchange for that (in 4 weeks nobody spell checked the OP, by the way... We're still with "Anonomity"). Airdrop #3 will follow after swap completed. People even more angry.
Episode 5
...
And now that people have realized that its a scam coin there is another mass dump off today should not be long before this coin reaches a value of 0.00 |

Storm ICO looks like it will be solid. Another project that looks promising is Etherparty. Both are not discussed in length on here which confuses me but both are legitimate projects that have solid teams behind them!

The more I think about this coin, the more it doesn't make sense that this would be a scam. I really like this coin. I like the privacy feature, I like the name, I like the number of coins. There is absolutely no reason that the devs would give up on this project at this stage. My balls shrunk for a moment there and I was considering selling. However, they just grew back and I'm hodling. Think about it. The devs can make a killing on this coin. They aren't just going to run away and leave their coins inside the addresses. The Explorer still works. The coins are still in the addresses and none of them have been moved. If devs were going to run away, they would have at least cashed out, right? It seems that I'm hodling and I'm comfortable with that decision, regardless of the outcome.
Good luck to us all. We may look like idiots now, but we might turn out to be geniuses if it works out. I've got 2000 and due to the decreased network weight, I'm staking almost 1 ETHD per day right now.
Get comfortable you are in for a weird but long ride I think. Maybe they already have made a killing and just left? Take a look at the explorer and rich list closer because I see some weirdddd stuff happening right now. I would advise selling now before you get in a loss but its 100% up to you of course. |

Now we see all altcoins in blood. Why? Everybody sells their altcoins and buy BTC, because SegWit2x is coming. So, don't worry and just #hodl !
Agreed, when you have two upcoming forks it causes uncertainty in the market and can cause for some bloody days. Should have seen this coming though as the fork in August basically had the same thing happen leading up to it. After the storm is over come November I expect alts to rebound with a decent vengeance. |

OMG airdrop coins I would hold because they have a real working product and probably will be around a year or two from now. If I got other airdrop coins though, I may look to sell a few and then hold a few depending on
how good the project is. It really is dependent on the project though. Ripple, NEM, and Decred all did airdrops and look at how those panned out. Gotta have a good eye for whats going to be worth something come future.

It definitely does seem undervalued at the moment. I would not be surprised if in a month or two it spikes but that is just what I think will happen with a platform such as this. Lest we forget the team is great, and they are
abiding by all regulations in the USA. In my opinion, if you can get USA investors your already a step in the right direction. I guess we will see in a few weeks time what happens to the price point as it stabilizes.

Hmm such slow progression with this coin...how come this is? I thought it would be doing well from the start. Now I am thinking that name is no good as Bitcoin Cash seems to be dying off slowly. Dev can we rebrand and
perhaps change the name? Something a bit more friendly Bitcoin Scrypt? I am not sure if that one is good even it just seems better than the negative brand image we have with Bitcoin Cash, just a thought though.

Well technically it is not an airdrop but a fork. And how would it not be legit if they do it based off snapshot on blockchain? please post some resource for us to be able to confirm. as of now, it is all speculation.
Not speculation it has been well known on BCT for a week now and I have known slightly longer. A simple google search gives you all information needed. Where did you find out about this ? Please give resources so we can see if it's true and prepare if needed. Thank you.

Ok I am new but I'd say that 75% (Or more) of any messages coming from Slack are a scam.
Why would anyone want to use such a plagued platform? Why do ICOs use it if it is such a risk for their clients, their bussiness and their reputation?
What was its original purpose?

Honestly it was a good platform before scammers starting to spam it a ton. Couple that with the fact there is no way to stop those spammers from creating accounts and joining these slacks, you have a big problem. Originally prior to July I think I may have had one or two scam attempts ever. Only one thing I can think of is the real reason for the increase of spam and scamming on slack and that is some people got severely scammed and now these scammers think they can fleece everyone. |
