Tough learned lesson. Never ever make a transaction without using escrow. In any otc thread, there are tons of scammers. Semux's tread is the same. The other option is waiting to buy on exchange after listing. Maybe not a more secure option after seeing how exchanges are hacked every month |

When I started investing, ethereum was less than 1 dollar  But those times are never going to come back, 1 dollar was fine back then since as you said you needed that to buy 1 ETH if we use your analogy we need at least 462 dollars to buy 1 ETH right now, anything less than that is simply not enough, bitcoin fees can be quite high so investing a dollar is just a waste of time and as time passes the minimum amount needed to invest in crypto is only going to grow. He could find the equivalent to bitcoin in 2017 and then wait for 10 years... trading money for time |

I can't see the devs of eth sleeping for some months... Coins with a development team are improving and getting new features as needed. A change won't happen overnight.

Ethereum needs to fix the network saturation problems before going bigger. With current state will turn in bitcoin2 with expensive and slow transactions.
