181  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: NordFX: Trade Bitcoin & More with Leverage 1:1000! on: February 02, 2018, 04:51:27 PM
You cannot usually even find 1:1000 leverage in Forex, where the market is so much milder than in cryptos, and there is a reason for that. With 1:1000 your capital will simply vanish at the first oscillation of the price in the wrong direction.
182  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: EOS and ADA, Or is there another option? on: February 02, 2018, 04:45:57 PM
IMHO i would have invested in eos and zilliqa. both are very promising projects. i think they are better investments than ada.

This is the first time I ever hear about Zilliqa. Would you also care to give a few reasons why eos and zilliqa would be better than ada? Otherwise this is a non-informative post which is telling us nothing.
183  Economy / Speculation / Re: Keep calm, and take a coffee. A trader said... on: February 02, 2018, 04:30:01 PM
You are right. For this reason I had placed days ago a nice 2 BTC buy order at 8000$ to buy the upcoming dip. I made just one little mistake. This morning as I saw everything crumbling I have panic deleted that order. Emotions have defeated my rational decision. The result: I have missed a profit of at least 1500$.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lesson - History of Bitcoin crashes on: February 02, 2018, 04:20:27 PM

📉 - 87% from $1166 to $170 November 2013 to January 2015

The Nov 2013 - Jan 2015 crash was the most brutal because it went on so long - 14 months in all. Towards the end I started to think it would range trade between $150 to $250 forever.

The short sharp crashes are easier to deal with because the psychological pain only lasts a few months. Lets hope the current crash is one of the short sharp ones.

This is exactly the period I have chosen to enter Bitcoin, LoL.  Cheesy
It was not funny at all, I did all possible mistakes except one: I have never sold, especially when losing 87%. I am only sorry now that I didn't buy the dip at that time.
185  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people says gold is better? on: February 02, 2018, 04:16:18 PM
Beyond the little fact that gold has 5000$ of history as a store of value, which is difficult will get obliterated, gold will probably spare you the experience to see it a 20,000$ one day and at 8000$ a few weeks later.
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: France, Germany to make joint bitcoin regulation proposal at G20 summit on: February 02, 2018, 04:13:17 PM

Things are getting better and better each day. You're regulations are not a bad, It means acceptance by those country. When they regulate the use of certain things like digital currencies it means that they are accepting those new technologies.

Well, this has some logic, we can see the bright side of regulations. I don't like state control over this sector, but if this is the lesser evil, than better so. Syll much better than governments cracking on whatever smells crypto.
187  Economy / Speculation / Re: The big schock coming! But to which levels? 8500 or further? on: February 02, 2018, 03:54:48 PM
Hi guys and girls,

I think the time is there for the big shock in price.
I do not know how low it will go. If it continues from here (9200) it will go to at least 8500, maybe 6800.
I still see a lot of potential for bitcoin to grow, but this kind of correction (backtest) is nessecary to go back up again.
There is enough money that wants to flow in, so i would not worry.
I keep my position and am ready to buy a little more!

To which levels do you think we are heading?

What happening now is a big dip in my crypto experience, the price now is at $8.5K and still dumping. A projection that the price will go down near $5k. I will think it on a positive side that, this will be a good opportunity to buy again. Hope that this will stable soon.

In The past at some point Bitcoin was 60$ and it went down to 2$... THAT was a big dip. People who bought at 60$ and sold at 2$ might have regretted it later on.
188  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 2018 the most crucial year for bitcoin? on: February 01, 2018, 01:51:57 PM
Well, in a way it could a crucial year, given the dramatic price action of the past year and possibly of this year too - and the governments willing to take decisions about the status of Bitcoin. Yes, I am inclined to think this could be a crucial year.
189  Economy / Speculation / Re: The big schock coming! But to which levels? 8500 or further? on: February 01, 2018, 01:50:11 PM
I guess the price will bounce around the lowest Fibonacci retracement level, which if I remember well should be around 8100 or surrounding. However, it is still to be proved that the bounce will be definitive.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Storage Beta! [NRO] Neuro — cryptocurrency for neural networks! PoW&PoS on: February 01, 2018, 01:47:43 PM
I didn't find any Whitepaper, and the ANN is also not too much informative about what makes this Neuro project special, which problems it solves. Would be nice to have some more data.
Devs have disapeard since August so there is not any information about this project. It is no Team, no whitepaper, no roadmap.... Sadly. Huh

It is a shame that so many people pretend to be ready to launch a new project which in fact does not really exist. I don't even think these are scams, just devs making bad reality checks on their possibilities and limits...

192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does bitcoin crash occasionally? on: February 01, 2018, 12:18:36 AM
Have you ever heard the word "market"? This refers to a context of buyers and sellers, the buyers are convinced that the best thing to do is to buy, the sellers are convinced that the best thing to do is to sell. You wouldn't ask this question when the buyers ("the bulls") are in control and the price explodes to the upside. Well, when the seller ("the bears") get in control, the opposite happens. In cryptos, the swings are very extreme - that's it. But of course, big whales manipulate the market too. This happens in every market.

Very true.  Bitcoin can be manipulated by these big players.  I am thinking right now if the Chinese government is one of these big players.  They always ban bitcoin.  By doing this kind of announcement, people will panic and se their bitcoins.  Price will go down and they will be able to buy coins.

Chinese Government could be one of the players, and wall street sharks for sure is another one. They control also the mainstream media and when the mainstream media starts a campaign against bitcoin, you can bet that someone there is buying the dips Smiley
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: February 01, 2018, 12:15:10 AM
Not all criminal activities can be linked with Bitcoin
Bitcoin cannot be used with any kind of criminal activities
But we can can agree that with the use of Bitcoins, those who are into ransom has increased their chances of not blowing up their cover.
Those who use money as payment to drugs, gun smuggling can use Bitcoin to pay and remain unknown
However, not every criminal in this world are into this kind of technology, keep in mind that there are more small time criminals out there that those who are big time and small time ones prefer cash and fast money.

Bitcoin's Global Circulation, Low Transaction Costs, Anonymous, Duty Free, Regulatory Immunity and Low Transaction Costs determine that it is vulnerable to criminals.

Unfortunately true. That is the saddest part of bitcoin together with many advantages. I even kind of believe that criminal money has a lot of impact on current bitcoin prices. As their demand grow, price did the same with that.

Hmm, let me point out again that the US Dollar's Global Circulation, 100% Anonymous when in cash, non traceable when in banknotes and Zero Transaction Costs while carried inside a suitcase determine that it is even more vulnerable to criminals.
194  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Bloodbath.. on: February 01, 2018, 12:10:57 AM
It seems that bloodbath is already at its end, even if you can see a lot of weak hands bodies on the battlefield.
It was just a result of a deliberate manipulation, made by big players, just to push out of the market small investors and to buy at low price.

Not so sure about that. Analysts expect one more dive of BTC towards the 8000$ area, which would most likely trigger another selloff of altcoins. I guess we will find out this week, not later.

Spoke too soon. Its not over yet, this is the 2nd time that crypto fall, somewhat recovered but we are not out of the woods. I thought that recovery will continue, but its not a case of bull trap again. Although its green again, its below $11K unexpectedly.

Yes, there're some 'experts' saying that bitcoin could dive further south, in the range of $7500-$8K. I guess, only time can tell, prepare ourselves for the worst, either you bail out early or stick to the market as long as you can. Your call.

Some analysts also speak about the 4000-5000$ level, a dive which would match the price pattern of 2014... THAT would be the worst scenario - let's hope it would stop in the 8000$ area though.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will be see bitcoin as international currency? on: February 01, 2018, 12:07:17 AM
No chance we will ever see bitcoin as international currency - LoL. But we will one day for sure see some other cryptocurrency as the main international currency. Unfortunately, I am afraid this will happen only the day that the banking system will have found a way to be in control of that 100%. I hope I'm wrong though.
Hopefully they won't. We will see how fast will grow development of quantum machine, this is the closest problem, I think.

This surely is an issue, which however Bitcoin could bypass just by turning to PoS. A more relevant issue is the political will by the governments to accept it. And I don't think this will ever happen.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A good way to monetize Bitcoin in Europe: can you recommend one? on: February 01, 2018, 12:04:11 AM

Before I forget, I DON'T WANT to use Coinbase at all, I have had very bad dealings with them.

Thanks!

I have your same problem. I was planning to use Coinbase, so I would be very interested to know which bad dealing you had, so as to avoid your same bad experiences.

Thanks for your recommendations! Coinbase arbitrarily closed my account one day because I was setting up a revenue share programme and I activated the merchants section. They basically pulled the plug on me, without even giving me any option at all to reply, simply saying that they don't want to deal with sites based on revenue share. I even tried to reason with them sending support requests saying "OK, as you wish. I don't agree with the image you have painted of my business... but I am happy to use the account without merchant services as I was doing before".

I was totally ignored and to date if I try to open an account with my ID it still tells me that I am banned. And I did nothing wrong. They just ASSUMED that I would have run a dodgy business when that was not the case at all.

That's very bad.... so I have put a big X on the name Coinbase and I would rather send my BTC somewhere else.

And I am not even mentioning the outrageous fees that they apply.... Smiley

Wow, this is really interesting, thanks for sharing. Is seems that the bigger one company is, the more rigid become their rules, no matter how absurd they are. Well, if you really need it and you don't find alternatives I guess you are aware that you can always ask to a close relative of yours that you can trust to open the account instead of you...
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how much percentage of ones savings should invest in coins? on: January 25, 2018, 02:09:22 AM
It is difficult to speak about percentages, since it can change from case to case. The right answer is that you should invest in coins only the money that you can afford to lose. This has been said again and again, but never enough.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indonesia bans Bitcoin on: January 25, 2018, 02:07:28 AM
This is not a ban of Bitcoin. A ban of Bitcoin would be if thet would close exchanges, and go after people who trade Bitcoin with each others. Indonesia has just said that Bitcoin is not money so it cannot be used to buy goods. Anyway, Bitcoin has stopped to be money the day it has become an asset that people buy as a store of value. So much ado for nothing.

Well, as soon as you learn how banks are creating money just out of thin air EVERY TIME they give a loan, when you hear statements like this one you can't but start to laugh like crazy Cheesy
