I think not all crypto coin can survive because there are so many shitcoins that is coming out and don't have any value. When bitcoin's value gets high so many shitcoins also come out and they are the ones who dies first.

I prefer long-term investments because I do not spend a lot of time to earn and I do not want to try daily trades because I think it takes more time to make a profit as you need to check if your trade goes well at all times
I also prefer to do long term investment in the coin which I think will have a big pump. I can see that in ethereum and bitcoin, doing trading with this two coins can sure give you a good profit. |

In my opinion, it depends on bitcoin and ethereum. When they fall, many coins go down.
Maybe because alot of altcoins only trade with bitcoin and ethereum, and because these two coins are dropping the value of the other alts also goes down too. |

Ico projects have become very long, they go for almost 6 months. Of course the money is frozen, respectively, for half a year. Very few projects are left that are fast as in 2017
There is a big difference in the ICO of 2017, in the ICO of 2018. Last year it was a great experience for me, when I first joined in the bounty. I earn big amount of money and later on I put in an investment in ICO. But this year 2018 is not good because my investment is now 50% down and I do not know when it will recover. |

I think we will more comfort if we holding bitcoin or ethereum or top 10 coin in marketcap. Holding altcoin have more risk that we hold bitcoin or ethereum because some altcoin have low liquidity in market. For me I think it is still best to hold bitcoin or ethereum, because even though the market price is down at this time, there is still a big chance for it to grow and back to a high price. So if you are holding a bitcoin or ether, there is aslo a big chance for your coins to earn big in the future. |

Bittrex and Binance are my favorite exchanges for transaction and trade. They have a good customer support system and a professional user interface.
For me I prefer poliniex, it has a wide number of coins listed in the market and it makes easier to switch between those exchanges. They have an instant exchange with a minimum fees only and its probably the lowest in other exchanges sites. |

If you prefer long term you should try bitcoin and Ethereum. But if you prefer short term you should try altcoins. It depends on you, if you prefer fast earnings go short term and try altcoins  I prefer bitcoin and ethereum in long term, these two are both good assets, And for short term Altcoin like ripple or Iota these are good for trading and buying. |
