Best competitors to Ethereum?

I think that the best one is btc. It is the most powerful one and not everyone will think that ether can become its competitor but i think so. To my mind, it is ether that whill take a decent place in the crypto world soon

Make no mistake about it, the closest competitor fro ETH is NEO.  Other potentials are EOS and ICON.  But if I had to say could ETH be overtaken within a couple of years by anyone, then I would say NEO, for all the reasons already mentioned in this thread.

I also think that only NEO can compare with ETH. NEO and ETH have the same functions, and processing speed of ETH and NEO are the same. If I had a lot of money, then I would buy both of these coins and then hold ETH and NEO for about a year

The best competitor of Ethereum coins is Litecoin. Yes, I chose Litecoin because I think Altcoin is a good development besides Ethereum ie Litecoin.

Neo and Eos are main competitor of ethereum. The main net has launched more development and adjustment will follow as roap map explains, it is more improvement than ethereum.

There are only a few coins that can easily be a competitor to ethereum, just like EOS, Cardano, and NEO, those all are good competitors but they will never be better than ethereum.

I am thinking about EOS maybe. It is a new coin currently in it's ICO being called the ETH killer. It was created by STEEM and Bitshares founder Dan Larimer and promises to be an alternative to and much more scalable than ETH with zero transaction fees. Users will be able to deploy smart contracts and Dapps. Thus, EOS must be a good competitor ETH need to consider.

Waves, Komodo, EOS, Cardano, and NEO all of this coins which I guess tries to be a challenger or the best competitor to Ethereum, already many ICO / ITO projects that use their coin base (not ERC20)...but I'm not too bothered by this, because after all they're all competing and trying to outperform the crypto market ruler Bitcoin...

Currently no one is close enough to eth but if you want to chose then it is ada and eos.

NEO is backed by China government, using dBFT therefore it gets faster transaction per sec. In any case I believe at least for couple of years ETH will stay the king of smart contracts

there are many coins that have great potential and can even outperform ethereum like litecoin, ripple, and many more, because in cryptocurrency always have a surprise so all still can happen and nothing is impossible.

None of them because in fact, both don't have demand till this time as you can see the majority of projects are still using ethereum as the main platform. Even those idiots NEO ico still use ethereum to raised the funding from the investors. The majority of them don't even use NEO to raise the funds to develop the product and what a bullshit.

There are a few coins that have a very good development, and I think this will be a competitor to the ETH on one day. This coin is NEO, Cardano and LTC some coins continues to grow and thrive and continue following the ETH. And if one day it is able to achieve such an accomplishment that the ETH was certainly good.
