181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we compensate bounty hunters when ICOs fail? on: July 06, 2018, 11:18:09 PM
It is a common thing to see most ICOs stating in their whitepaper that the monies of investors will be refunded to them in case the ICO is not able to reach its softcap. Sadly bounty hunters work for like eight weeks or even more and their efforts go waste. Do you agree they should also be compensated?

I dont think they should be paid because the main reason for conducting a bounty in the first place was not achieved. How then should they pay for an incomplete job or a failed job. The meoney raised from investors is what is meant to be used to pay hunters; If at the end of the ICO, soft cap was not reached and investors are reimbursed, how then are they supposed to pay hunters. Its a simple logic that does not require a lot of thinking.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Crypto Currency? on: July 06, 2018, 11:07:26 PM
Everytime is a good time to invest in cryptocurrencies. It is quite new and has not yet made its mark on the world. I will keep investing and accumulating more cryptos using airdrops and bounties as I see crypto being huge in the near future. I'll rather be part of it now it is at its infancy instead of later maybe when it has already made its mark.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get fast rich in crypto world. on: July 06, 2018, 06:17:05 AM
A friend of mine made millions from bitconnect. The trick is getting in early, eliminating greed and get out early. He bought at a very low price during the ICO and sold at the peak (about $410) and this was his crypto breakthrough. Yes, Bitconnect was a nightmare for some, but thats because they were late to the party and they were greedy. Even those that were wise enough invested when it was $300, saw what was coming and exited very early.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of the cryptocurrency 3 years later? on: July 06, 2018, 06:11:06 AM
How was the cryptocurrency market 3 years ago? That should give you a more clearer image of how it will be 3 years from now. From 2015 till date some cryptocurrencies have seen massive gains from their ICO price and the ROI is above the roof. For me i think the same scenrio is bound to replicate so my advice is Buy more, hodl longer.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Coins are a great LONG-TERM investment ???? on: July 06, 2018, 06:04:48 AM
Hey folks,

what do you think, which tokens are a great investment for 5-10 years?

All people tend to speculate on short-term moves but I am more interested in tokens that will go up x times over the next couple of years...

so to say, the Amazons and Googles of the crypto world.

Which coins are REALLY GROUNDBREAKING in your eyes and why?

I mean Bitcoin started the whole thing but technically there are so much better, safer, faster, more anonymous coins that should take over in the long run.

Please share your opinions

Every coin has an aspect they specialize fully in. When it comes to privacy and anonymity, then Monero , Dash , Verge , deeponion are your best bet cause they guarantee you just that.

But usecase of a particular coin should be what you arr really interested in as it detemines a lot. Ethereum is huge today cause of its massive wide-scale utilization. It provided smart contracts and the capablility to create tokens on its infrastrucure. This brought in more eyes and utilization. The same was experienced with NEO as well. So use case should be your major fofus.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm very disappointed with myself. on: July 05, 2018, 10:39:54 PM
Everybody made some mistakes here as well as the crypto sphere dosen't care about anybody.

I held XRP since 2017 through all the good and bad times and i was very happy to see it touch $0.1 and then i felt it was the perfect time to sell, which i did and then it went to as high as $2.4 .

You could imagine the look on my face afterwards. But i saw it as a lesson: NEVER SELL TOO EARLY AND NEVER SELL TOO LATE.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ICOs choose ETH rather than BTC? on: July 05, 2018, 10:33:03 PM
The availability of the smart contract option answers it all. Bitcoin transactions on the other hand take longer to verify due its scability issues and small block size. Ethereum has the answers and solutions to these problems since it is highly scalable and transactions confirms faster.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why do governments don't make BTC illegal worldwide ? on: July 05, 2018, 10:25:06 PM
In the case of the government,  people now carry out untracealble transactions using bitcoin and other privacy coins that guarantees maximum anonymity and freedom from regulations.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why do governments don't make BTC illegal worldwide ? on: July 05, 2018, 10:22:10 PM
Cryptocurrencies poses a great threat to the government and banks especially. We have seen how easy and cheap it is to make bitcoin transactions and you will agree with me that it is completely stress-free and can be done from the comfort of your couch. This is a major problem as this awesome tech will surely discard traditional bank systems. Banks dont want that as they want to be in full control of our finances and keep extorting from us with the disguise of fees. Thanks to Bitcoin, we can easily transfer monetary value locally and internationally securely, anonymously, cheaply and swiftly. I'm so loving this.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Technology involvements in Top companies on: July 05, 2018, 10:15:05 PM
The blockchain technology in my own opinion is probably the best part of the bitcoin innovation. As good as bitcoin is, the technology powering it should not be neglected.
The blockchain technology has proven to be very good in various sectors in different parts of the world. The solutions it brings to the table are countless.

Businesses are already adopting the blockchain model but blockchain technology has not fully reached its maximum potentials. I'm glad big players are crawling their way in, that way, others follow and enhance bitcoin's chances of being one of the best technological innovations of all time.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of CryptoCurrencies on: July 05, 2018, 10:04:02 PM
Hello, This is my first post within the general forum area. I am happy to be a part of such an important community. I don't have to convince anyone here of the importance of Crypto-Currencies. I am curious what some people think about the future of these currencies. Do we consider them commodities? I am curious if Bitcoin/Litecoin/Namecoin/etc will ever be traded on an open market much like currency exchanges or NYSE. They are currently traded on an open market but the transfers are limited to payment systems that can be difficult. My question is this: Does anyone believe that Bitcoin will be traded on a massive level alongside other currencies like the Euro, U.S. Dollar, etc? If this happens than Bitcoin could likely become the worlds largest digital currency. However, until Bitcoin can be adapted to large-scale physical dollars or coins they will remain a digital currency. They are obviously much more secure than credit cards and financial market holdings. I hope that Bitcoin can become more of a liquid asset. That would change the game indefinitely. The more liquid the currency the more available it becomes and the transactions become easier. Anyways.... I appreciate anyone's insight into this matter as it will help me decide whether to invest in Bitcoin for the long haul. Thanks!

See you on the other side,

Mahonias Mavrostomos

I've been in this crypto sphere for quite some time and one thing is certain, cryptocurrencies are here to stay. We have seen their capabilities and the benefits that comes alongside them and we can all agree that these digital currencies are tbe future.

The cryptocurrency market is still at its infancy stage and we shouldn't expect a lot from it just yet. With time, its going to be one of the most important additions to our world.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mining is costly... on: July 05, 2018, 09:58:13 PM
This is the exact reason why we have altcoins. What bitcoin can not do, these altcoins are expected to do.

Some altcoins are very cheap to mine and accumulate swiftly. The trick is, spot a good altcoin with awesome potentials, should be a mineable coin. Check on how the mining is done and you follow accordingly. You might be in for a lucrative source of income with time.

Some altcoin mining requires just your PC And this is very good. Think Mining Bitcoin is too expensive? look for an alternative, Mine Altcoins.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are banks and governments scared of Bitcoin? on: June 30, 2018, 11:28:05 PM
The government and banks always want to be in control of the wealth of individuals but bitcoin has denied them that since it is decentralized and beyond control from any central body. Bitcoin is already becoming a disruptive force to the way banks and huge financial institutions operate. Very soon their practices will be scrapped and bitcoin will achieve mass adoption.

They dont want that and thats the reason they look for all possible ways to ban cryptocurrencies. But they will continue to fail in their attempts because 'BITCOIN AND CRYPTOCURRENCIES HAVE COME TO STAY'.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $300 million transferred for 4 cents in fees! on: June 30, 2018, 08:45:10 PM
The innovation of bitcoin exposed all the deficiencies of the traditional banking systems. The above transaction was a huge one, yet it cost near nothing and takes little or no stress to be received on the other end. Bitcoin is definitely the future and it will be a disruptive force to transitional banking systems.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It could take 2 years for the market to recover on: June 30, 2018, 08:32:30 PM
You are right about the fact that market fundamentals have changed but I disagree that the crypt market will take 2 years to recover. We have seen how quick the crypt market builds up momentum and with all the better utilities cryptocurrencies are gaining, we are sure to get new investors and this will ensure swift market recovery.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters should be paid in ETH on: June 30, 2018, 08:28:26 PM
I couldn't agree more. The bounties paid to hunters Causes prices to decline and this is not what investors want. If bounty rewards are paid in ETH, it ensures that the tokens supposed to be paid retain value that huge sell orders would have taken away.

This should be taken into consideration by various ICO bounty campaign managers.

198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favorite Exchanges? on: June 28, 2018, 02:49:46 PM
I love decentralized exchanges. Decentralized exchanges makes trading easier and faster.  We dont have to create withdrawal requests, support ticket and pay listing fees. Every transaction is automated and delivers on the go. DEXes are the best in terms of performance and speed but no good UI.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where's the bitcoin hype gone? on: June 28, 2018, 02:26:38 PM
Even haters kind of dissapeared Smiley

With all going on right now, like the bans here and there, regulations and the rest, bitcoin is bound to lose favor from potential new prospects and the hype alongside.

Markets are bearish at the moment as well. Contributes to a lot as new big money(investors) will see the crypto as too volatile and restrain from investing.

But things are bad now, but crypto is still an infant financial market. There is so much room for improvements. JUST SIT, WAIT AND WATCH.
