181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any advice for a newbie? on: March 20, 2018, 07:17:07 PM
Hi guys,

Newbie here trying to set up a crypto profile. 1 month ago I had heard the name Bitcoin but didn't know what it was other than a digital currency and had not heard of any alt coins so bear with me  Undecided

I don't have a huge amount to invest, thus far i have 0.13 BTC and 2 ETH, 2.6k XRP AND 50 OMG. I want to keep adding to this and keep it for as long as needed, i  am not really interested in trading as i don't understand this space enough to do that.

Any ideas or thoughts? Should i move any of these around? Concentrate on adding to bitcoin? Add to XRP/OMG etc etc???

Also i have a ledger nano s en route to keep my coins.

cheers
You definitely need to learn how to trade in the market. This is very important, because ultimately you will need to buy and sell coins. You should be able to buy and sell coins at a market price.  Wink
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You have 1m dollars.. on: March 20, 2018, 06:55:28 PM
If a have that amount of money I think I will never use all of them to invest in cryptocurrencies or all in a bank. I will use the half of it to invest in crypto and the other half to the bank.
I'll never go to the bank with that kind of money. Inflation will eat some of this contribution. It is much better to invest some of this money in crypto currencies, especially when the market is on the decline. Only a crypto currency can increase these funds several times.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: March 20, 2018, 06:28:39 PM
I believe that soon a lot of money and state regulation will come to the sphere of crypto currencies. This will revitalize and strengthen people's confidence in crypto currencies, perhaps this will trigger a new round of development of this technology. Personally, I truly believe in it.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do if bitcoin decreases? on: March 19, 2018, 09:35:47 PM
i think the correct respond for investors if bitcoin price decrease is, keep holding and buy some more.
bitcoin won't go to 0 price. it is the opposite, bitcoin will become more expensive as the demands of bitcoin increased.
Of course you should always look at long-term investments. With bitcoin, nothing will happen in the near future. Moreover, the break-even point of the miners is about $ 8000. Therefore, the price of bitcoin should not fall below $ 8000.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is 1ETH=$10,000 worth the possibility? on: March 19, 2018, 09:22:12 PM
What do you think?
This year will definitely be very interesting for ethereum. We have already seen a dizzying fall down this coin, now it is time for such a dizzying upturn. Therefore, I hope for a high price for a coin, maybe it will not be 10 000, but I hope at least a couple of thousand.  Smiley
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do i sell my altcoins? on: March 19, 2018, 09:10:50 PM
if you get airdrop, and already know the value, you should also know where to sell your airdrop token, because usually they the airdrop also announced, tokens can be sold in the market where, idex, etherdelta, forkdelta, or bitrex. and if the price is still too low, you better keep it first, but if the price is high enough, just sell it. because it's free coins.
Yes, to sell or not to sell a coin is necessary depending on the situation and the price. You can easily find out the price of a coin on the coinmarketcap website, on the same site you can find out on which exchanges you can trade with a coin.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin making alts useless on: March 19, 2018, 06:59:45 PM
Yes, altcoins follow bitcoin, but is this bad? When bitcoin grows, then almost all the altcoins grow. I think that in the future some altcoins can make a worthy competition to bitcoin, especially the high hopes I get from ethereum.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: full-time cryptocurrency on: March 19, 2018, 06:51:28 PM
Yes, all this is individual. It's probably not worth to quit a good job for the sake of crypto. Crypto currencies are very volatile, so you can get a good profit or lose money. It's better to try crypto currency in your spare time to understand if you need to do this or not.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: March 13, 2018, 09:08:47 PM
I prefer to keep each coin in their official wallet than leaveing all of them on exchange. It is always safer to hold it in wallet but it requires a lot of effort and hard disk space to store all that wallets, the cons is it's troublesome to move them if you want to sell some of them.  I don't like leaving them on exchange because there's always risk of hacking and your account can be suspended for some reason.
I fully agree with you, it's calmer for me if the coins are in my purses. Crypto exchanges many times cracked and not always users received their money back, and if money was returned, then after some time. Yes, it's more complicated, but more reliable.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins are going to change our lives? on: March 13, 2018, 07:11:22 PM
too many altcoins are newly created, but only one of them gonna change our lives, but its difficult to know which coin is, well I rather to stick a trusted coin, has potential and good for long term it will change your life,. the altcoin is ETH.
I would not say that only one coin has a future, and all the rest is garbage, it is not. But I also believe that not all existing coins have a future one. Most likely in the future there will be only 10-20 main coins, and all the others either disappear or will be merged.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🤔 South Korea introduces new tax on cryptocurrency exchanges on: March 13, 2018, 07:03:35 PM
Paying taxes means that South Korea acknowledges that digital currency transactions such as bitcoin are legal. Great news! And this tax is already low relative to some countries, right?

Block chain new technology is born, the first wave is very normal!

This is really good news, I also see only positive in this news. This really means full legalization of the crypto currency in South Korea. But some news agencies can present this news as negative, so we need to carefully analyze every news.  Wink
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blood-Bath Over? on: March 13, 2018, 06:49:45 PM
Again BTC found a support around 8000 figure. That means 8000 support level is strong enough. Now BTC will re-test the 11750 (recent previous high). If BTC closes above 12000 in daily chart, it is a sign of end of bearish market. If So, BTC will move to 17k (Fib level) before next correction.
I was also pleased with the fact that bitcoin did not fall below the level of 8000. I think that in order for your forecast to come true, we need very good news about the crypto currency. I hope that soon these good news will appear.  Wink
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your biggest regrets in cryptocurrency? on: March 13, 2018, 06:16:24 PM
Most of all I regret that I did not learn about the crypto currency at the very beginning of its invention.I am glad only one, it is better late than never.

I also regret that I did not start crypto currency before. I even had the opportunity to do this before, but my laziness did not let me do it.  Cheesy
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH v NEO on: March 12, 2018, 08:56:57 PM
NEO is also a good and promising project, but I like Ethereum more. If you compare these two platforms, then ethereum has a clear advantage, on this platform there is a very large number of new projects.  Wink
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like airdrops? on: March 12, 2018, 08:17:11 PM
I stopped participating in airdrops because very few projects issue coins. Of the coins received, only a very small part really has value. Yes, sometimes there is information that some project has distributed airdrop coins, which cost a lot, but this is one case of a thousand.  Embarrassed
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All coins are now dying, what do you think? on: March 12, 2018, 08:07:25 PM
as I noticed all the coinas are tied to Ethterium, the Ethterium began to fall and together with it most coin, but not all, there are coins that have preserved stability and even continue to grow up
Find coins that do not fall at the moment is very difficult. Personally, I have all the coins in the portfolio very much fell in price. This is very difficult from a moral point of view.  Lips sealed
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low prices, are you excited about the situation? on: March 12, 2018, 07:45:49 PM
It's good to happen and a huge opportunity to buy but it's not healthy if it happens more often. I've been with crypto for more than a year and bear period occurs longer than bull period so just wish that you are really buying at the real bottom price.
Now coins have low prices, this makes us think that now is a very good time for buying coins. But coin prices may drop even lower, so many investors decided to wait until the situation stabilizes.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethreum the new king of crypto? on: March 12, 2018, 06:19:46 PM
Ethereum in my opinion is a strong and stable coin and it has the potential to grow a lot, but not more than bitcoin
This year, ethereum will not overtake bitcoin, it's too early for that. But I think that it will be possible in the next year or in a year.   Smiley
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] SAPIEN NETWORK - Take Back Control Over Your Social Experience on: March 09, 2018, 10:44:13 AM
Good afternoon, I have a problem.

When I joined the bounty Signature campaign, I did not fully indicate my ethereum address. I copied and sent you the address without the last digit, now you have an incorrect address in the spreadsheets, 1 character less.
my user tulpash
the spreadsheets specified the address: 0xe855B47F745983FfEc52D7786Ce38Fd7B5c481f
correct address: 0xe855B47F745983FfEc52D7786Ce38Fd7B5c481f6

Correct this please.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Easiest way to stop ICO scam is on: March 06, 2018, 08:57:54 PM
Let ICO holders automatically send coins to your Ethereum wallet just after receiving your Ethereum

Just like, betrium.co is doing.

KYC is really useless for crypto currency traders.

scam is always there but you could eliminate most of it. I strongly you follow Ian Balina (youtuber). He developed his own data matrix to determine which coin is good or not. He started out like everybody else in 2017 and in the end he is millionaire. Don't follow him every step but learn his process and apply it on next ICO
Thanks for your advice. I'll watch him.
I think crypto community have to develop some anti-scam rules.
Mandatory escrow for ICO for example.
Yes, it is necessary to develop new methods of fighting fraudsters, current methods work very poorly. It remains to rely only on yourself and do a detailed analysis of projects.
