Guess the project crashed and burned before it could even take off.
Unethical release? That was a preventable human error but not something they could not have recovered from.
Major issues with blockchain? Aren't they supposed to test these things out before the launch?

Dev, consider making this web-mining only forever. This would be a great "feature" of this coin; also make it kind of unique at the same time, a good way to differentiate amongst all the other coins. This would keep old laptops and smartphones hashing away happily.
I agree that it makes old dinosaurs and mobilephones viable for mining but whether that is a good direction to go is debatable. |

We had again problem with the datacenter that was hosting the blockchain, website and mining pool, the tests in the blockchain was not done successfully, for this reason, we are delaying the launch of Bytecoin Gold for half of 2018. Well, that's shelved for at least half a year. And we all know how fast the cryptoworld moves. |

Anyone has a solution to the new wallet not syncing?
Tried adding the node, no block source found.
Deleted all block data, still no block source found.
It's just stuck on empty.
Just to confirm, have you tried the bootstrap method? Yup. Was just gonna edit my post. The bootstrap started the sync. Crossing my fingers that it works. |

You have a genesys block, ok but how do you create 1% total javacoin without coin transfer ?

It's called a premine. This is normal for most coins. The first few blocks yield a higher reward and they are strictly mined by the dev team. |

Exactly. Our mission is to be valuable commodity among btc, with total supply 1/10 of btc supply... We are still generous with ratio 10x. You don't need to have 50 BTC to qualify for the second airdrop. You just need to have BTC in your wallet at the time of the snapshot. And the airdrop would be in the ration of 10 BTR : 1 BTC. Which basically means if you had 0.01 BTC at the time of the snapshot, you would get 0.1 BTR. |

Hi. I am a newbie here and a need little help.
I downloaded the daemon and wallet for linux. It is working fine, sync and all. Very nice \o/ .
However, the "help" content from the wallet command line is a bit... difficult to understand. Some examples, maybe, would help.
Basically, how do I create an address to which I can receive Edollars? Is there a command for that?
Maybe some tips and tricks on the first page of this topic, and in the "help" command, would be useful ;-) . Just a set of basic example commands that we need to start with.
(and, BTW, I like the project ;-) ! )
Run the wallet-cli, create a new wallet, enter your password for it and voila, your very own address. The wallet address can be found in a .txt file inside your wallet folder |

Do you have your wallet address like other?
You can use their online wallet generator to get a wallet address if wallet-cli is too complicated. Just make sure you save the seed somewhere safe. |

the text should be like this :
'wallet failed to connect to daemon : //localxxxxxxx. Daemon either is not started or wrong port was passed'.
how to solve this problem ?
