I have hand sewn a life sized wearable bitcoin. It is made of two hulahoops connected by a stick attached to a lampshade that fits on my head. These odd objects don't matter since they are just the frame that the fabric bitcoin exterior fits over and can't be seen. Im going to wear it different places and pass out little pieces of paper that say something, what should they say?

yes, but the current structure has served me well. I work hard, pay my taxes, and expanding my family. The current system provides much maturity and predictability. The current system doesn't provide a reasonable possibility of some unknown entity with no transparency holding 20% of the market. btc has documented prof of almost 20% of the early generated btc being held by a hidden entity (Satoshi or whatever it is) This mandates this currency to an amount of unpredictability that many people will not buy into. People may ask for a schism of the block over this. there isn't any danger about how have that 20% of BTCs, what is your point exactly? :-| |

chavon, acá tenemos un problema, tenemos una wiki oficial donde todo eso se explica, pero esta en ingles ( http://en.bitcoin.it), YO inicie la traduccion de esa wiki en nuestro propio subdominio ( http://es.bitcoin.it) y pedi ayuda a la gente de este subforo, pero ni una sola palabra a sido traducida por nadie mas que yo. no es tanto de crear una guia paso a paso, ese material existe pero en ingles, si quieres ayudarme con la traduccion registrate con tu mismo nickname en la wiki y entra en las paginas que aun no estan creadas (ya los enlaces a estas existen, solo hay que agregarles contenido). el metodo es facil, solo copias el texto en ingles, pegas en la pagina en español, encierras eso entre <!-- un comentario --> y borras de él lo que ya tienes traducido, puedes editar la Introduccion para que te des una idea. claro esta, no uses el traductor de google u otro robot :-| mas que solo para que te traduzca algunas palabras o parrafos para que entiendas lo que dice el fragmento y escribas lo que entendiste en la wiki al español. saludos! Seguramente que tenemos un problema, yo de manera correcta pedi si alguien podia explicar paso a paso y resulta que la respuesta genero una infinidad de preguntas aun mayor a las iniciales. O sea, si alguien te hace un par de preguntas basicas (inclusive hasta mal formuladas por ignoracia de todo el sistema), y vos le respondes con unos cuantos agregados (que parecen ser obvios)...generas muchas mas dudas. Otro problema es el uso de lenguaje coloquial...si se te complica mucho te explico yo, no tenes que ir a una wiki ni a un traductor. Yo particularmente, no tengo problema en traducir...pero si no entiendo lo que traduzco seguramente obtendria una traduccion similar al la de google u otro traductor. Saludos en realidad tener una wiki permite a la gente indagar mas en el tema, si fuera en el mismo idioma seria aun mas genial. las preguntas saltaran independientemente de si se explica paso a paso o no, seria normal que preguntas aparecieran, de todas maneras el sistema Bitcoin no es nada sencillo, su complejidad deriva de un buen sistema anti-fraude. seria genial que ayudaras a traducir, si trabajas en la wiki con tu mismo nickname podrias generar buena reputacion cuando vayas a vender a otros, creedme, aqui te investigaran antes de hacer algun trato contigo  . Si no comprendes algo, solo lo dejas comentado y pones un aviso en la pagina que estabas traduciendo, asi de simple!. saludos! |

En bitcoin basta con darle a "Generar coins" para que empieze? Como eligo si quiero CPU o GPU?

si, con eso puedes "generar coins"... pero es el metodo menos efectivo conocido por el hombre para generar bitcoins xD, eso es porque la dificultad actualmente es de unos 244139.48158254 (segun blockexplorer), antes, cuando el proyecto se inicio, la dificultad para generar un bloque era menor y la recompenza alta (de unos 100 BTC), pero claro, eso ya es historia. Actualmente la mejor manera de hacer mineria es unirse y participar en un grupo de mineros usando una GPU, usar el modelo 5970 de AMD te haria procesar unos 802 Mhash/s, que con un poco de matematica cortecia a un Bot del canal de IRC oficial del proyecto Bitcoin es: The expected generation output, at 802000 Khps, given current difficulty of 244139.48158254 , is 3.30415365839 BTC per day and 0.137673069099 BTC per hour. el cliente oficial usa CPU, para utilizar GPU te recomiendo el GUIMiner, si puedes instalar el interprete de lenguaje Python y las demas dependencias que necesitas para correrlo no tendras ningun problema, claro, si tienes una tarjeta de video decente te servira de ayuda, si no es tu caso (como lo es tambien para mi) te recomiendo usar un programa de mineria que use CPU. contestando a EasyMony...cual es la diferencia entre comerciar con wallet o con myBitcoin? que es eso de la llave publica, llave privada secreta, etc
creo que seria mas sencillo si alguien se tomara la molestia haciendo el "paso a paso" Ej crear cuenta en un foro:
1-Click en registrar
2-llenar datos
3-finalizar para confirmacion de mail
4-verificar mail y garantizarlo
