181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future for cryptocurrency? on: March 30, 2019, 09:40:10 AM
With blockchain data can be stored in a decentralized public book.

With cryptocurrency, we can make anonymous transactions without centralized intervention.

If you add speed and spread to the public, then the future is cryptocurrency.

How do you think?
I think it will be a problem for governments of all countries in the world. Black deals will be intermingled there and that will not help law enforcement search for criminals. This is also a disadvantage of anonymity in transactions. To be able to use worldwide, blockchain technology needs further improvement.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting ETH on: March 30, 2019, 09:37:27 AM
I find it interesting that ETH price started going up weeks prior to hard fork after the hard fork it looks to be consolidating and now moving back up again. what could be the factors to this price movement? I like it though, very good for quick trades.

Anybody notice a change in performance or speed of ETH? I have not move any of my ETH so far, I really can't tell yet.
I think you should buy more than ETH. The upcoming ETH will release ETH 2.0 version and it seems to be expected by many investors. Buy early will get better price. A series of good news will come and you will see ETH can increase to $ 200.
183  Economy / Economics / Re: Where to sell for cryptocurrency? on: March 29, 2019, 11:46:25 AM
This is really a risky sale. I do not believe in such new areas. Because we need to sign a contract and the state department needs to verify before the contract is finalized.
I think you should buy directly instead of using crypto to trade.
184  Economy / Economics / Re: Are You The INTELLIGENT Cryptocurrency Investor? on: March 29, 2019, 11:41:50 AM
If you wish to be an intelligent investor in the cryptocurrency markets, you are about to get your chance. The speculators have gone home, the optimists have packed their bags and the pessimists are running the show.

While we may be lacking in the financial data required to obtain true intrinsic value estimations we now have the opportunity to look for real companies, building the future, expanding their size and generating revenues and profits.

If we assume to know that the current sentiment is negative and that we are likely sitting in the depression stage of the market cycle, we can then compare this list of high-quality companies to the current pricing, stage in the cycle and their past market values to arrive at a value approximation.

The Intelligent Cryptocurrency Investor

Recently I have been reading “The Intelligent Investor” By Benjamin Graham. I have read a lot of trading and investing books, so it was interesting that I had not read this iconic piece already. There is a wealth of old knowledge in this book that still rings true today. In fact, I have found recently that reading old books, or “classics” often gives you a better summary of the core principles around a topic than the new editions.

Let me set the scene with a quote from the book.

The whole point of investing is not purely to earn more money than average, but to earn enough money to meet your own needs. The best way to measure your investing success is not by whether you are beating the market right now, but whether you have put in a financial plan and a behavioural discipline that are likely to get you to where you want to go. In the end what matters isn’t crossing the finish line before anybody else but making sure that you do cross it.
It’s easy for us to lose focus on this, with the constant feed of price data and news headlines our brains can become completely overwhelmed. Cryptocurrency investing is unique. It involves a much larger degree of speculation than stock market investing because there is a distinct lack of hard, factual and financial data.

This means you need new frameworks for valuation and trading, which is why for cryptocurrency I have leaned towards focussing on the technical analysis of long term trends and market psychology. I believe this is the approach I will be using for a long time yet, as I cannot see a wealth of new data flooding the scene any time soon.

The Intrinsic Value Of A Cryptocurrency
While we cannot accurately speculate on the intrinsic value of a cryptocurrency without insider knowledge of assets, revenues and profits we can evaluate the opinion and beliefs of the market participants. In value investing the first step is to run the numbers and decide what the overall value of the business is by looking at its current net assets, it’s past performance and conservative future revenue earning potential. Yet in cryptocurrency, we do not have this data. What we are left to make our judgments from is past market values and market psychology at that time. Doing this will give us an approximation to the “true market value” (different to the intrinsic value).

For example, if a cryptocurrency has been falling into an area that it held previously on a number of occasions, you can assume that this level was a fair market value for that cryptocurrency. However, what you need to add into this technical calculation, is the emotional state of the market at previous times, and at this current time.

Let’s say that as price approached this specific level, and it then broke down. Did the price break down because of the overall negative market sentiment? Or was it due to more negative market opinions of the individual asset in question? If it was caused by an overall shift in the market sentiment, there is a chance this asset dropped below its true market value due to the manipulation in overall emotions. However, if the price dropped in a time of overall positive market sentiment, it is more likely that there is something specific and different about the asset in question.

Determining The Top Of An Asset Bubble
Now, all of this information is useful to determine the potential bottoms, and the true market value of cryptocurrencies, however, it is most helpful when judging and profiting from the overvaluation of assets.

As we talked about earlier individual cryptocurrencies are highly speculative in nature. Combine this with the fact that the majority of the investors are non-institutional or “average” people we can begin to create a clearer picture. The result is a market environment much like the early years of the stock market. A plethora of new valuation methods are being created, and the market is still dominated by emotion.

To use the terminology of Howard Marks, we see the pendulum of investor psychology swing back and forth, at an incredibly fast speed. What would usually take weeks, months or years, happens in hours and days. This is due to a lack of sophistication, liquidity, and players in the market. One of the main lessons I have learned in cryptocurrency is that what goes up, will almost always come back down.

We can use our framework of fair market value to observe assets that have been pushed up above this level and are likely headed for a retracement. We can also use this framework to inform potential buying opportunities as prices approach fair market valuations.

The Psychology Of An Intelligent Investor
Back in the spring of 1720, Sir Isaac Newton owned shares in the South Sea Company, the hottest stock in England. Sensing that the market was getting out of hand, the great physicist muttered that he “could calculate the motions of the heavenly bodies, but not the madness of the people.” Newton dumped his South Sea shares, pocketing a 100% profit totaling £7,000. But just months later, swept up in the wild enthusiasm of the market, Newton jumped back in at a much higher price — and lost £20,000 (or more than $3 million in today’s money). For the rest of his life, he forbade anyone to speak the words “South Sea” in his presence.
Why is this relevant?

The problem illustrated above is that nobody can predict the top of such bubbles or price increases. In the case of cryptocurrency, prices often take time to return to their fair market value, but they usually do. There are miniature bubbles confined to a handful of assets expanding and popping constantly because nobody believes, or can accurately assess the “intrinsic value” of these cryptocurrencies. There always becomes a price so high, that nobody wants to pay it anymore. Then the news turns negative, sentiment shifts, and the crowd moves from that “hot” asset to the next “hot asset”.

“The market is a pendulum that forever swings between unsustainable optimism (which makes stocks too expensive) and unjustified pessimism (which makes them too cheap). The Intelligent Investor is a realist who sells to optimists and buys from pessimists.” — Benjamin Graham
In cryptocurrency, our main role is to assess the cycle of emotions, and how that cycle is correlated to price, and I believe the above quote serves that purpose. In cryptocurrency, the optimists are usually proved wrong, and when the last pessimist falls, those optimists will take control yet again.

“Investing isn’t about beating others at their game. It’s about controlling yourself at your own game.”

I really like your last sentence. I am struggling with myself to keep calm when investing. I have felt bad times many times and have failed many times when my self was not assertive. I was hesitant to place buy or sell orders.
My greed and lack of knowledge made me disoriented. so I think the best quality of an investor is control. If he takes control of him, he is definitely a great investor.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2019 be the year of Altcoins ? on: March 28, 2019, 12:32:07 PM
Do you think that 2019 will be a good year for Altcoins ? and if yes which of them will performance the most ?
Well, I don't think this is a good year for altcoins. I think this is a good time for potential IEO projects and a good time for the coins to grow.
You have also noticed that recently, Huobi, Kucoin, BNB, Bitmax, Bgogo are increasing very high prices and it is saving the market from quietness.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the market improve in 2019? on: March 28, 2019, 12:30:48 PM
Many people have lost a lot in 2018.They hope that the market environment will be better in 2019.But I think that if we want the market to recover, we need to wait for two years.
right. 2 years is the minimum time for the world's financial markets to recover. all changes need time to adapt and grow.
But the crypto market still brings a lot of money for me at the present time. Potential projects have been saved by exchanges and it's an opportunity for me to use all my savings to invest.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: eth coin prices slowly rising again? on: March 27, 2019, 02:08:02 AM
today I see the coin price starts to rise again, is this the initial up and down or will it go down again? I'm sure everyone will expect the eth coin will rise again, if you now have eth coins, will you sell it now or still hold back? eth coin holders or btc are not in a hurry to sell the co. thank you
I currently hold 20 ETH and I have no intention of selling it. It is a very good altcoin and we cannot sell it at such a low price. Our market has stabilized in the past 2 weeks and this has never happened since the beginning of 2019 until now.
I believe it is preparing for bull run and the price of ETH will definitely increase by more than $ 300 in Q3.
188  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHY DO WE NEED A TRADING PLAN ? on: March 26, 2019, 09:37:39 AM
I really realized my mistake through your article. I seem to have let my emotions control my portfolio. I was greedy and did not place a sell order at the target I wanted, I also did not place a stop loss to avoid risk.
thank you, seems like i will become a professional investor after reading your article. Grin
189  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much money and which rule follow for trade?? on: March 26, 2019, 09:34:19 AM

Our current crypto market has returned to balance. there was no dot-com bubble and no more powerful pumps. This is the time for us to take advantage of the crypto market innovation events to make money.

190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you long on, and why? on: March 25, 2019, 10:04:06 AM
Minus the obvious BTC for the looong term win, I'm going long on:

(1) Sia
(2) Dent

Here's why:

(1) They're both really cheap right now
(2) They both seek to unsettle massive players in established markets. Sia is smashing cloud storage players and DENT is disrupting data strongholds in mobile
(3) They are already delivering fantastic products

What are you long on, and why?

I have no thoughts on long-term holdings in the crypto market. It takes time and a certain amount of capital for a long time.
Can you confirm when the value of Sia and Dent will increase? If it grows two years later, how many opportunities will you miss?
Don't invest too soon. Please specify a good time and hold it for 1-2 months.
191  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the global currency cannot be 100% internet based and if we will have one on: March 25, 2019, 09:57:37 AM
Hey guys what do you think ?

Will we have a global currency?

I personally think that the idea of global currency will benefit citizens, there won't be exchange tax and other things , but at the same time it will kill the competency of the countries that the political leaders think is important , there will be no more best to worst currencies , no exchange rates and nothing.
Will it be beneficial?

I think the benefits are more than compensating for the bad effects.

I think this wide variety of currencies  do have some advantages
If we will have a global currency will it be internet based?

I don't think it can be internet based because more or so there will always be a sector which doesn't plan on using the money and worse who doesn't know how to use the internet and how do you plan on giving this advantage to the tribal people ? It will be worse , it will be like , if someone wants to kill the economy of the world entirely they just need to shut down the internet and everything, every transaction will stop.

Please share your views ?
I don't think that's a good idea. The forex market is currently very large and it is joined by many people around the world.
Besides, having a common currency will not bring a positive effect. developed countries will no longer want to continue to grow because they will contribute to the whole other country even though they contribute little.
This is a pretty bad plan because it has no logical division.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Got a Job after loosing hope in Bounties on: March 24, 2019, 03:30:01 AM
Hi,

I was a bounty hunter just like many others here. Was hoping that i can earn my living by doing bounty hunting rather then kissing someone's azz 9 to 5. But it looks as if the cryptocurrency world is not ready for us or may be not willing to accept us anymore.
So after sticking to my beliefs that it will grow and good times will come, but the time has come that i have to look for alternates and here i am sitting in an office doing "YES Sir", "No Sir" and hoping that i can have a financial stability to avoid doing job anymore.

Seriously looking for suggestion to gain financial freedom and don't have to do a job anymore.
This is bad. I also hoped a lot in the bounty market but everything broke down when the price of BTC dropped.
we should not complain anymore, we need to find new solutions. Investing in IEO projects will now be better. Spending too much time on bounty or part-time jobs will only waste your time.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: new coins are worthless! on: March 24, 2019, 03:27:27 AM
yes maybe not everything is like that! everything needs a process, but the fact is like that.
sometimes I think, what's the use of them making their own cryptocurrency but when entering the market there is no further price development. after that it feels like dead!
I hope I don't misjudge.
it is only for coins that have no potential. Sometimes they create it just to pump and dump. then they will leave and don't care about the price of the coin anymore.
because they just want to earn a small amount of money from investors. That is considered a scam project.
We should analyze it carefully before cooperating with them.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it right time to Buy Alts? on: March 17, 2019, 02:32:12 PM
guys...alts are bleeding ? great discounts going on, which are tempting ...but since btc gold on oct 25th and later nov first week btc hardfork coming...so ppl move their stash from alts to btc to get free money as result of fork.... so is it right time to jump in or wait few more weeks and buy right before fork? share your thoughts
I think this is the best time to invest in altcoins. a gradually recovering market will have great advantages from government incentives and many other factors.
If you have a pretty high balance, you should invest in altcoins before its price goes up.
It is also a way to help your currency keep its value over the years.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how to promote the cryptocurrency. on: March 17, 2019, 02:29:26 PM
There are lots of cryptocurrency are created in this situation but still very some of them were interested by the people to invest so how to promote the remaining coins to reach the people to invest.
It's really hard for people who aren't really knowledgeable about blockchain technology.
This is a new platform and is considered the most confusing for other types of technology.
I think the model expansion will take a lot of time and the press must help us in this.
196  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think this BEAR MARKET will LAST? on: March 16, 2019, 04:32:10 PM
This bear market will last for a long time and it seems to be stable for a long time. because the recession always needs a long time to stabilize and so does our crypto market.
So let's stop thinking about when the market is growing fast. Instead, think about how to make a lot of money in this bear market. that's should be a good idea. Wink
197  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with crypto or fiats? the right one? Your experience? on: March 16, 2019, 04:17:19 PM
I trade with crypto currencies. I have a small experience in it. The amount of profit i get is very less but yes it depends on the amount of investment i make. I have seen my friends trade with fiats at currency market. The amount of profit they receive is more than i do. The main thing is, the investment they make is lesser than i make.

Kindly share your experience?
simply because they have smarter strategies than you and have a good understanding of the money market. But remember, money is never easy to find and you won't know how much they will have to pay for.
You can still earn more money in the crypto market or stock market if you get a better strategy or a new direction.
198  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: best coin for long term investing on: March 16, 2019, 04:12:13 PM
please tell which is best coin for long term investments
[/b][/i]
surely it will be Binance. If you are interested in the exchanges of the crypto market, you will see the greatness of BNB in the past. It saved the crypto market in this bad situation.
You should hold it before its price goes up to $ 30.
199  Economy / Economics / Re: Who controls the market? on: March 15, 2019, 01:59:55 PM
In my opinion, those with a lot of money will be able to control the market and come up with strategies for the future perfectly. Our decentralized market will often face many legal incidents and black organizations can always manipulate the market comfortably under anonymous wallets.
This is a real problem and I'm wondering if the decentralized market can last long?
200  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin be worthless? on: March 15, 2019, 01:54:58 PM
Currency failure generally occurs due to the type of hyperinflation, and there is always the potential for technical failure, currency competition, political issues and so on. As the main basic rule, there is no currency that can be considered very safe from failure and difficult times. so is it possible that bitcoin can become worthless?
Too much value of Bitcoin is a negative trend and we should not overdo these ideas too much. Clearly, bitcoin can handle inflation and it always grows and grows over the years. But limited supply also makes it difficult because if everyone uses Bitcoin, it won't be enough to meet.
so I think we should still use 2 currencies to create a stable and developed economy.
