I feel so late to the party. Coins now are very expensive, like $5800 for Bitcoin and $345 for Ethereum... then $5 - $30 for other coins. I take a look at the blockchain explorers and see big holders of coins, for example some people have 1000+ bitcoin, a lot of people have 500,000+ ethereum. These people got the coins when they were 1 penny each, now I have to pay $500 for the same coin?
Why are the coins so expensive today? Can I go back in time and get them cheaper?
Even if I put in a lot of my money, I only get a fraction of what people were able to get 1 year ago. 1 year ago people got coins for 1 penny and stashed 100,000 coins for $1000, now I have to pay $1000 just for 1 coin?!? I feel so ripped off!
Also I knew about Bitcoin when it was $30, and I knew about Ethereum when it was $7! I was alive in these time periods and was looking online and reading about these things but it all flew by!
Am I too late to the party? Is it a good time to get buy today or should I find a way to time travel back in time?
My frustration is BIG.

reading whitepapers is a great source of information for new people to the cryptospace, alot of these concepts seem very not needed sometimes I recommend you new folks to read Mybit whitepaper it will definetely open your eyes to a few pockets of the blockchains usage with certain sectors of the cryptosphere.
Anybody else has a couple of informative whitepapers, that opened your eyes to a certain technology or undervalued market or just good information?

Whitepapers contain all the important information and essentials. Although it has a lot of information needed to read, a lot of details but to find a good project then we need to read them. I agree with you that there is too much redundancy and incomprehensible information, but reading it all is a great way to judge the nature of a project. Also, there is no better solution. |

So many persons learn Crypto trading through the hard way, with no guidance from any angle and I happen to be among these categories of persons... And one thing I understand is that, those that learn through hard ways always do best!

But the truth is that Crypto trading is very easy compared to forex/stock-market.
You can learn Crypto trading on your own without any help from anyone, but you can't do this with forex/stock-market.
The best way to learn about Crypto trading is to play around with the market with a small amount of money.
Or if you have any altcoin, you can spare some unit, take it to the market, do some buying and selling, do it over and over again, it doesn't necessarily mean you must buy the same altcoin. Buy other altcoins.
If you can keep up with this within a 2weeks, You will see results.

I want to put some money into BTC, just in case, I also wouldn't mind learning to profit off trading them weekly or on a daily basis, I see potential. It looks alot more easier than forex and quicker than stocks.

In my view, the most common mistakes of these traders are always towards the crowd. It is a very misleading thinking for traders nowadays when they look at speculation / investing like gambling. The worse thing is they never analyze the altcoin or ICO project they are about to invest. They just ask the experts to make a decision without review. That makes them forever poor and never rich. |
