hello guys. i just come accross this topic. searching for answer why my rank don't increase eventhough i have already 191 posts and 182 activities. i am not complaining though. about the merit system, must i going to spend it to incease my rank? thanks for the answer.
Still no idea regarding merit system? OMG! just read first the start of this thread to educate you regarding merit system. As of now you have 10 merit point, you need to reach also the requirement before you rank up. you need to collect 90 remaining merit before you rank up into full member, because even your posts reach 1000 together with your activity. You will remain in to member if you cannot reach the 100 and up merit points. |

Many users are creating thread regarding Merit/Smerit system, until now they cannot know the logic of this system in bitcointalk community. Some users are continuously complaint and giving negative reactions regarding this system.
As I see in meta section are flood of topic regarding Merit/Smerit system and because of that it was results of redundancy and spamming. Now not only Bitcoin Discussion, Economics, Economics Speculation and Trading Discussion are experience of shitty posts and spamming even "META SECTION" hopefully that bitcointalkers were get over to the latest system. Because weather we like it or not that is fixed and cannot change by anyone.
We may expect that all participants of bitcointalk accept the fact and move on regarding merit systems my eyes are hurting reading redundant topics.

Those accounts are still make a cheat, as per validation it was already reported but still they trying to cheat. Myether wallet is safe, because it was given unique password aside from the original password. However on the past months more accounts would be hacked due to unidentified reason, until now I cannot know what happen to my account because almost $3000 would vanished in split days. I already concerned it to the administrator but still not yet reply. Now I cannot used my MEW for the safety of my other coins, maybe if the amount lost in my account is back then that's the time I trust again into this wallet.
Hacker or now are too much intelligence because they can hacked my accounts without any knowing, So lesson learn to many users of MEW be alert and try to monitor your value in your account.

Only the author of the merit system can make a decision if they increase or decrease the needed merit points before rank up. I think many users were disagree with that suggestion, since most of the participants of this site now are complaining regarding merit system.
However as of now complainant were already lessen maybe because they understand now the good intentions of this new rule. Therefore many bitcointalker are willing to improve and evolve their posts quality.
I think nullius have a a good intention why they can suggest it, but we need also to consider the other people. Almost more of the bitcointalker are not first language the English so we need to understand that it's hard for them to construct a concrete sentences.
Other than that let's also hear first the comments or opinion of many before deciding to change the rule. I hope I cannot offended the others.

I was relieve when merit system started, because numbers of shit posters and spammers were lessen in bitcointalk. Aside on that most of the posts now I read had a lot of knowledge and very helpful, also more participants of this site are starting to make high quality of post. Now we can see the large improvement of the many users, so be thankful to theymos for making this system.
I believe that evolution of posts will happen in this community, because more people are wants to excel and grow up in this site.

On my own understanding, merit system have a huge advantage because spammers were limit to rank up. As I see on the previous more shit posters are immediately ranked up even their posts are below low quality. In addition even their posts are nonsense and not helpful for the others they continue ranking up because they get activity every 2 weeks.
But now due to merit system they cannot ranking up rapidly if their posts are not constructive, so they need to work harder if they want to gain merits.

Hero: 5merit perday
Full Member: 2 meri per day
member: 1 smerit per day Merit system now are running so well in this site, so I think your suggestion are not needed. Giving merit daily is impossible to happen, imagine 2:1 merit/smerit do you think that merit of DT's, staffs and moderators in this site are unlimited? How funny suggestion, if you want to gain merit just work for it with your own. Create posts that can help other people to excel, because as I see the merit system you propose is only for the lazy people. |

Advise ko sayo stay away sa mga mega thread tulad ng mga yan, base sa tanong mo hindi yan makakatulong sa pag improve ng english vocabulary natin kasi kung gusto mo mag improve kasabay ng pagkakameron ng merit syempre pumili ka ng mga thread na alam mong makakatulong ka sa kapwa mo at make sure na correct ang grammar mo. Hindi mo need sobrang haba ng reply basta ma express mo ng maayus ang gusto mong sabihin ok na yun kesa habaan nag reply na redandunt naman ang kinalabasan.
Na observed ko din yang thread na yan at nakita ko ang bigayan nila ng mga merit kahit non-sense at not constructive na mga post nakaka received ng merit kaya those thread is for members who are greedy to have merit and not for members who want to improved their vocabulary specially knowledge about crypto.
Salamat sa advise, kahit naman mega thread iyon may sense naman iyon iba pinaguusapan doon kahit papaano. Minsan nga lamang sa dami ng nagpopost doon di ko na maintindihan iyon iba pinaguusapan, pero may mga times naman na may mga natututunan ako doon. But it was not banned because this coin are always followed to the terms and condition of respective country, aside on that they also followed the rules and regulation of each country. Alam ninyo mga brother sa totoo lang, kahit gaano kasense at kaganda ang post ninyo hindi talaga nila kayo bibigyan ng merit. Siguro bibigyan nila kayo pero mga 1 or 2 merits lang, hindi ninyo ba nahahalata simple reply ng ibang DT's pero 10-50 merits agad. Kahit nga minsan ilang word lang? Saka kahit mga DT's binibigyan din nila mga alternative account nila. Totoo naman na walang makakatulong sa atin kundi sarili natin pero gusto ko lang naman ipabatid sa inyo na sana magtulungan tayo di man tayo magbigay ng merit dito sa Local board try ninyo din review iyon ibang post ng ibang kababayan natin.
Pero kung di kayo sang-ayon sa aking mungkahi ay ok lang naman iyon at least nasabi ko sa inyo ang aking saloobin. Sa akin din naman nakakatulong sa pagunlad ng aking English Vocabulary ang merit system pero sana maging fair din sila. Kung tutusin kaibigan sa kaibigan at kalahi sa kalahi ang labanan dito ngayon sa merit system.

For now it was impossible to happen, but due to low demand and supplies of crypto in the market it was possible to happen. $4000 is amount that was hard to accept because more of us had create a good foundation of coins in the market. but remember that we start lower than that amount so just believe and supports that, because sooner it will recover more than we expected. Yes as of now price was normal, no more large changes so its better to be quite and hold the amount you have in your wallet because it was possible to increase amount in the future. |
