181  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [project] api.loyce.club: crowdsourcing Bitcointalk data on: November 18, 2019, 04:13:30 PM
@LoyceV An important security tip for your API project :

I strongly recommend that you block access to all files except those that need to be seen.

Let me explain :

If you go to your domain "http://api.loyce.club/", it is possible to consult all the files.

Currently it is not very embarrassing ( And for my API project it will not bother me since I have already added a file to handle this ), however if one day you include a source code with sensitive information ( Login / Password ), it will block access to the file containing this information. Otherwise, it will be possible to recover this information very simply.

To block this kind of file / folder with Apache, I recommend these two links :
- Blocker a folder : https://stackoverflow.com/a/19118529
- Block a file: https://stackoverflow.com/a/11729748

Hello,

Your presentation is interesting. However you say to have more than 5 years of experience, to testify, it would be more interesting to show what you have already created.

At least by adding screens / link of your already made games, or even to propose a portfolio Wink

Good luck for your research.
183  Other / Meta / Re: LoyceV's Trust score images - request them here (and use in a post/table/BBCode) on: November 18, 2019, 02:31:30 PM
Okay, no problem.

I will probably better detail the README in the evening ( With more details on the use once installed ).

If you have questions / problems, do not hesitate to tell me about it Wink
184  Other / Meta / Re: 10th anniversary art contest on: November 18, 2019, 02:26:40 PM
Glad, you liked my work. Currently I am not sure how I wanna roll this project so I don't think it would be nice to make it open-source now. If I decides not to go further with this project then will make it open-source and hope you guys could take it to another level.  Wink
Yes, I purely use PHP for this project. No other server side language or library.

Okay, yes I understand Cheesy

If one day it becomes Opensource, I would be interested to know, indeed I would like to see how you manage the integration of images Tongue

In short, I stop the off-topic, I will try to follow the project from my side !

Edit :

I would recommend you to create a topic dedicated to your project Wink
185  Other / Meta / Re: [CONTEST](POLL LIVE) 10 years of Bitcointalk commemorative Coldkey ($500+ prize) on: November 18, 2019, 01:56:32 PM
I voted, but I must say that the choice is really hard ha ha !

Little question, how much will each model be sold ?

Because suddenly, if it is possible I would take the version of "plvbob0070" ( According to its price ), in addition to the model that I reserved ^^

Thank you in advance !

I had this idea from the day Theymos announced 10th anniversary art contest. What could be better than a custom card for every Bitcointalk member! I see Basorexia made some beautiful cards on Page 38 but again problem with it is that, manually it could only be created for handful of the members and stats are outdated at very next instant. Therefore, I created a script with which a custom real-time card can be created by/for any member on the forum. Here is what I created:

...

Some Examples:
...

Note: I use BPIP to get trust ratings. Currently trust ratings on BPIP are not accurate for most of the members so reputation score maybe uneven at the moment. I will try to resolve that or wait for BPIP to show correct data.

Waw, excellent, this is the kind of project I love !

Do you only use PHP to generate the images ? Do you think to make the project Opensource ?

For the fun, this is my card Tongue

P.S : Unfortunately, I have no more merits to send you Undecided

Thank you !

Hello,

De mon coté, je n'ai toujours rien reçus ^^

Je pense qu'il faut clairement être patient ( Surtout moi qui suis arrivé vers la fin ) Tongue
189  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Trusts API. on: November 17, 2019, 02:16:52 PM
Just to let you know: I've seen your topic, but haven't had the time to test/install your work yet.

Hello,

Oh, ok, excuse me, I did not know ^^

Keep me informed when you install the script.

It's possible that it needs to configure some stuff on your Apache server for the project to work properly.

( I still have to add details to the project's README file. )
190  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Recruitment for projet "Launch on January 1, 2020" on: November 17, 2019, 02:09:44 PM
I am a web developer, the post of dev explorer could interest me.

Where are you based ? Do you accept tele-work ?

You will find on my site a small glimpses of the projects that I realized( In French ) :

Thank you.

Hello,

A small message to warn that the API project for trusts is ready to be used.

The project is in Opensource on Github :

I speak in more detail about this subject here :

Having not yet given my opinion on the proposals listed, I allow myself to make my favorite list here Smiley

And ... Because I like this draw !

P.S : I do not have the talent of graphic designer to propose myself a model Tongue
194  Other / Meta / [Log] Archives of actions in "Stake your Bitcoin address here" topic. on: November 16, 2019, 05:40:35 PM
Hello,

This is the continuation of my bot project to check the signatures.

As the title says, this topic will be used to record logs ( Alerts from Opensource bot ) from the "Stake your Bitcoin address here" topic.

If you want to help with archiving of messages, you can by installing the bot !
195  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] Roobet.com Signature Campaign | The Honest Online Casino | Full Members+ on: November 16, 2019, 04:41:40 PM
Okay, if that's okay then it's a good thing Smiley

Thank you.
196  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Trusts API. on: November 16, 2019, 04:34:42 PM
Are you planning to host your API somewhere? API's usually make most sense when they are provided by a third party, so that they can be called from client's side or by other servers. There are even some good free options like Heroku.

Also, you should write the documentation for your API - all the routes, what params they expect and what type of data they return.

Basically this idea of project is not mine, I simply automated the process of @LoyceV with his project.

If he agrees that I offer the API on my domain, I would agree to do so.

The basic idea is that it is him who proposes the API ( To bind it with his project of API ) Wink

Edit :

Also, you should write the documentation for your API - all the routes, what params they expect and what type of data they return.

For that, it will come soon, but I am not very good to do this kind of thing Tongue
197  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you have an idea for checking P2SH signatures with a website ? on: November 16, 2019, 02:42:22 PM
Better provide more details on what exactly do you need and there is no Electrum standard maybe you are talking about Legacy and Segwit wallet? You can sign and verify both p2sh segwit and legacy addresses in Electrum.

Hmm, yes it's true that I was not very clear, I wanted to talk about checking the SegtWit Signatures ( As mentioned @bitmover ).

I don't have much knowledge in javascript but if you are looking for some opensource scripts from github take a look at this links below it might help you to make your own JavaScript program that could sign and verify addresses.

Just added this how to do sign and verifying works.

Okay, thanks for sharing, I'll see what I can do with these resources Wink

...
Code:
HxdlrefJp37AWwOSrcrziBWRjakOb8o4LCD4xMQzQ4XGCMbISyrECrBisdZW2zZf3HsKkbl+BZwBL1Gkr64MUkk=
decoded:
Code:
1f1765ade7c9a77ec05b0392adcaf38815918da90e6fca382c20f8c4c4334385c608c6c84b2ac40ab062b1d656db365fdc7b0a91b97e059c012f51a4afae0c5249
...

Hm, when I try to decode signature with ( JS ) :
Code:
atob('HxdlrefJp37AWwOSrcrziBWRjakOb8o4LCD4xMQzQ4XGCMbISyrECrBisdZW2zZf3HsKkbl+BZwBL1Gkr64MUkk=')

I have in response :
Code:
eçɧ~À[’Ê󈑩oÊ8, øÄÄ3C…ÆÆÈK*Ä
°b±ÖVÛ6_Ü{
‘¹~œ/Q¤¯® RI

Is this normal ?

What exactly do I replace next ?

Otherwise, in addition to checking Brainwallet, I will try to integrate "bitcoinjs-message" ( Thank @BitMaxz ) Wink

If the checks work with this script, then it will be a bonus in addition to Brainwallet.

Hello,

Merci pour l'information, je sais ce qu'il me reste à faire Tongue

Par contre, il se passe quoi si on garde des anciens tokens sur une adresse après la date indiqué dans l'article ?
199  Bitcoin / Project Development / Trusts API. on: November 16, 2019, 12:56:50 PM
Hello,

Today I present to you my new project.

This project is developed following this topic :

The purpose of the project is quite simple, to provide an API that retrieves trusts information from a profile.

At first, go here and follow the README instructions :

Once the project is properly installed and configured, the API is very easy to use.

For example, if you want to get the trusts data of a user in JSON :
- Call : https://api.example.com/trusts/public/api.php?clientId=1305990

This request will return :
Code:
{"warning":false,"username":"lulucrypto","trusts":["+0","=1","-0"]}

This is for those who wish to use this data in structured form.

It is also possible to display the image corresponding to a user simply by using this code :
Code:
[img alt=Trust score loading...]https://api.example.com/trusts/public/image.php?clientId=1305990[/img]

With this url, you will directly see the image corresponding to the profile like this :

You can test the API here :
- Json : https://trusts.bitcointalk.luc-mergault.fr/trusts.json?profileId=1305990
- Image : https://trusts.bitcointalk.luc-mergault.fr/trusts.png?profileId=1305990

And, that's all !

Now, there is more to install the script and test ! Smiley
