181  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why are we still at this price? Review of bearish thread titles... on: January 19, 2014, 09:36:18 PM
people expect a big drop since up trend broke. this is a common mistake. doesn't mean a drop isnt coming. but people get unrealistic about the timing.
182  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will Litecoin ever see prices above 40 again on: December 15, 2013, 12:20:34 AM
eventually, sure. i think the altcoins, and specifically litecoin, go through cycles that are based contextually on the btc/usd price action. litecoins will certainly rise in price again, but in the mid term, i think we may see some down movement. i say this because i am also expecting some down movement of btc against usd.
183  Economy / Services / Re: Advertise Bit777 & Peerbet! (currently closed for new entrants) on: December 15, 2013, 12:16:56 AM
others who haven't been paid out by this guy, send me a PM. i'm considering running a signature campaign to inform people that bit777 does not pay out its advertisers. i can't pay much -- you'd probably make more advertising for him, but hey, it looks like he won't pay you anyway, right? anyway, PM me. just gonna test the waters, see if there is any interest.
184  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: December 15, 2013, 12:00:59 AM
Until it doesn't need to anymore.

That looks bullish, so does bitcoin.  long=win win
could you elaborate? how does it look bullish? not talking about long term predictions, just in the short term.  Smiley
185  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 12, 2013, 10:51:15 PM
if anyone is too sure of themselves around here, it's the bulls

that's all i can say
186  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to Recognize a Bubble (for the stock market.... see any similarities?) on: December 12, 2013, 10:50:32 PM
Buble is if some stock or commodity is overvalued. Bitcoin is now undervalued, so you cant see buble now

On what basis is it undervalued?
yes, this is another one of those assertions.....
187  Economy / Speculation / Re: Serious bitcoin price discussion. Bears only please. How far will it drop? on: December 12, 2013, 10:49:17 PM
But it seems to me, given the insane price rise lately, and the fact that very few people appear to think it could fall as far as the April ATH, that there is a decent chance it could fall that far or further.
indeed. that's the flip side of the "everyone thinks it will fall but it wont" argument. thing is, i see much more "up up up" posts than anything else, and vast majority thinks under 600~ is impossible.
188  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: cryptsy order book wierdness? on: December 12, 2013, 10:44:22 PM
the cryptsy trade engine is pathetically horrible, the books are quite inaccurate
189  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who have litecoin for sales ? on: December 12, 2013, 10:43:46 PM

191  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will bitcoin reach $10,000 one day...? on: December 12, 2013, 10:19:52 PM

192  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trying to be creative but obviously giving up hope, failing to see the benefit on: December 12, 2013, 10:10:00 PM
I would have been better off continuing to do the GPT sites and cash out Paypal.
I also see these faucets. They don't give you much either and they seem very limited. I'd rather work harder for more than do captchas for less.

Do not use free faucets to try profit, it is just waste of your time
not if btc is worth 1 million someday, hehe
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest all my money into QRK Coin on: December 12, 2013, 10:08:40 PM

195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 12, 2013, 10:06:44 PM
ouch, poll results are lacking
196  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to Recognize a Bubble (for the stock market.... see any similarities?) on: December 12, 2013, 10:05:46 PM
This is interesting and useful but as all the others say BTC Is NOT A STOCK and will never be one.
ok. a lot of people say this, though, without adequately explaining how its price movement does and will differ, specifically. in other words, it is an excuse to do no analysis whatsoever.
197  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New Member on: December 12, 2013, 10:04:46 PM

198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: alt coin comparison on: December 12, 2013, 10:04:07 PM

199  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 12, 2013, 10:03:36 PM
China looks for the 8th time like it might break the trend, but the latest move is on no volume.

I for one love the stability. We can hang out here for a couple of weeks and id be ecstatic.
just calm before storm. i dont see sideways for weeks at a time after that runup and drop
200  Economy / Speculation / Re: Serious bitcoin price discussion. Bears only please. How far will it drop? on: December 12, 2013, 10:01:09 PM
Most people are looking at 600 the same way they did 50. So on a down trend I would expect the buying to start between $620-$700.
how do you know that?
