If you want total security when playing in crypto gambling sites then yeah, you should use a VPN. And if you are using a premium one that is the best you can do.  I usually use cryptostorm free version and im good to go as it is far better than most premium vpn services.

183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Vexl - New private Bitcoin marketplace by Satoshilabs? on: December 23, 2022, 08:21:24 AM
I hope you all are having a good evening.  I have decided to share this over here because I searched about this apparent new service on the forum and I did not find anything.

I was checking the Trezor hardware wallet webpage today (since there was a new update available for their software), I decided to explore the web and I realized Satoshilabs listed a new project I had never heard about before.

It seems the creators of the Trezor hardware wallets are currently working on a non-KYC, private and possibly open-source marketplace where people would be allowed to exchange their Bitcoin for FIAT (electronic and cash).

The name of the service seems to be Vexl and it is focused on privacy and discretion. If you feel like checking it out, feel free to visit Trezor's official webpage and move onto the "company" section. I prefer to reserve the right to share any links due to the nature of this application and concerns on people's privacy around here.

What do you think about this initiative by Satoshilabs?
If their app manages to accumulate a decent volume, would regulators get involved?
Would you use it or give it a try?
Do you feel any enthusiasm at all for private Bitcoin marketplaces?

I personally feel curious about it, but I'll let Satoshilabs to properly work on it more and let the volume grow before downloading it.

This doesnt look like a desentralized marketplace to me. It looks like much more to something like localbitcoins but in a decentralized version without the hassles of KYC imposition. It looks like the innovation here is that they operate out of a Bitcoin mixer which allows a certain degree of privacy for buyers. It leaves us to know if they will allow swaps between users.

I usually go to Stake.com and Cloudbet but you have several other choices. I especially enjoy going to casinos that have a Sportsbookie, so these two are more of my liking.
If you prefer games like slot games, dice and stuff, you will have a lot more options. Check here for the top-rated casinos in the crypto world!
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what proof must one have to identify himself as Nakamoto Satoshi? on: December 22, 2022, 10:40:49 PM
We always wonder who the real master mind behind the name of Nakamoto Satoshi the creator of bitcoin is.But what exactly would make you believe or convince you that "this" person is Satoshi if he/she ever decided to reveal himself.
There might be infinite wannabes and glory hunters wanting to rise to fame ,given the real Satoshi is one among them how would you go on about finding the right person.

The only way Satoshi has to reveal his identity is through his technology itself. REMEMBER: NOT YOUR KEYS, NOT YOUR COINS. Satoshi along with other early adopters is said to have millions of bitcoins stashed on specific wallets. So, if he signs a transaction from one of his addresses he proves he really is Satoshi Nakamoto. One of the genesis block that is said to be his, is this one: 1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa. You can read more about it here.

This is quite interesting. Thank you for sharing as I did not know about this. As for the movie, I have never watched it, but I guess I already have what to do tonight!
Thanks
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the perfect time to invest in Bitcoin on: December 22, 2022, 06:21:17 PM
Yeah, i do agree this one of the best times to buy bitcoin in several years. I would say even more, now it is the perfect chance for those who missed the train. Bitcoin seems to have hit a bottom and some people are already accummulating. The price can even go further down but I do not believe so. And even if it goes, the price is very enjoyable at the moment as it is extremelly undervalued. I know this because people have been buying making it a strong signal that it is starting an accummulation phase.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Few Days To Christmas - How Are You Preparing? on: December 22, 2022, 08:54:48 AM
Unfortunately, I will have to go to work on the 24th and die to my schedule I have still havent had time to prepare for christmas. Apart from a few gifts and a wiskey bottle I still have a lot to prepare. This means that Ill have to get out from work on the 24 and go looking for what is still missing. Even so, I believe ot will be a better christmas than the previous ones as at least there is no covid regulations to separate my family, so this year all the family will get together. This will be the best gift, for sure.
189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Where to bet in e-sports? on: December 22, 2022, 08:49:03 AM
I have never tried betting in e-sports. I know that a lot of you guys do a lot of betting in e-sports and would like to hear your opinion on that. Is it worth it? And what are the best places for that?
190  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to play poker with crypto ? on: December 22, 2022, 08:32:17 AM
I usually play poker at the SwC Poker room. Apart from being one of the oldest crypto poker rooms in the book, it is also one of the most trusted ones in the industry.
191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: World cup highest goal scorers update discussion on: December 22, 2022, 08:26:21 AM
Unfortunately, we could not add Cr7 to this list this cup. He didnt score that much in thia competition as he also didnt had too many chances. All in all, Messi ended up having a much better cup than Ronaldo and took a new score back home.
192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: December 22, 2022, 08:22:48 AM
Yeah, I would use AI to help me with my betting strategy. While the AI software would gather all the available data for a specific bet and select the most probable outcome, I would take of the human part of the investigation and would certainly have a very positive outcome. Moreover, many Casinos already use AI to collect data about their users playing habits.
193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Using Bonus Buy or Not Using Bonus Buy? on: December 21, 2022, 06:31:19 PM
I have often played slot games at some trusted casinos these past few days. While playing, I often buy Bonus Buys and I do that in many slot games.

Which is the most profitable or generates the most profit between buying a Bonus Buy or playing normally without buying a Bonus Buy?

This made me curious because I tried it in several games such as Gate of Olympus, Mental, Fire in the Hole, Sword of Ares, Land of Zenith and others. And I see that buying Bonus Buy is more profitable. Is it really like that? What slot games often allow you to win more money by using Bonus Buy?

Note: Buying Bonus Buy allows us to win more money, while playing normally does not guarantee we can win some money.

I guess that is a wrong perception. IMO, buying bonus only allows for the casino to get more profits. Casinos often do this sort of bonus offer, but these offers are normally deceiving and lead gamblers to spend more than they should.
194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar world cup Final Predictions on: December 21, 2022, 06:24:00 PM
~snip~
Well, this is something that we all know very well, the only thing is that I think that in the semifinals things got very rough, where without a doubt Argentina and France set the example, and the semifinals cannot be denied, but they were super exciting , my dream ending was that CR7 could arrive with Portugal, and having seen CR7 vs Messi, since they have received a lot of criticism, but things always happen for a reason and if everything happened like this it is because it had to have happened like that, the champion Argentina was indisputably one of the most promising, the bets were almost equal, both for Argentina and for France they were equal.

I think most of the world kinda hoped that Messi retired with the world cup trophy.

It was like a happy ending of a story, everyone loves a happy ending Smiley

And now we just need to wait four more years to see the next version of the world cup, with many more teams qualified, and in North America: Canada, USA, and Mexico will be hosting it in 2026.
Argentina is celebrating its success in winning the world cup trophy, Messi is one of the happiest figures for this success. Now he has got what he wanted all this time, the demands of the world cup trophy have been fulfilled which is the end of a beautiful story during his career with the Argentina national team. 2026 may no longer have Messi's name in the Argentina squad, but after winning the world cup trophy he had said he still wanted to play as world champion with Argentina.

I wonder why he would have said that because he already won his last worldcup and that should be a good end to his career at worldcup.
Why would he want to play the next worldcup. May be he would lose which would be a bad end to his worldcup career.
I personally think he won't play the next worldcup but continue to play the other matches.

I guess that a lot of us were expecting to see messi vs CR7 at the finals. It would be amazing and story would be written around it. I know that many of the sheiks in Qatar were also expecting that to happen and some even bet millionson that option, but unfortunately, it did not happen and Im afraid we will never have thesame chance ever again.
195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are we ever going to see this on gambling platforms some day. on: December 21, 2022, 06:16:22 PM
Do you mean like PvP gambling? I remember reading an article in the past that there are some platforms that allow you to bet on yourself and play against someone(who bet on themselves) on an online game(whatever game you are playing) and the winner takes the pot. I forgot what platform it was. anyway, I don't know if we'll see this in a casino because I feel like they'll need to create a whole different platform just for this type of gambling. also, I am pretty sure there will b

e concerns regarding cheating.

I guess this would be little bit like e-sports betting right!? I believe it would be an excellent idea to have a gambling platform where you could play and gamble at the same time. That way, yeah, bets wouldnt rely that much in luck but rather the skill of the player.
196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: wallets that work with bet365 on: December 21, 2022, 02:56:05 PM
Do you know which e-wallets or online banks work with Bet365, like Verse or Zen? Does Zen still work?

That is a good question. A few years ago when I was using the Bet365 website they only had crdit card, bank transfer and PayPal option and did not accepted cryptos. If they changed this is great news, so I will be following this thread to know more about it
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Best Crypto Exchange For Altcoins? on: December 21, 2022, 08:52:04 AM
Hi,

I want to purchase some alt coins. I have some Bitcoin on Binance that I plan to move over to my Trezor. I see people talk a lot about smaller cap coins that is not on Binance. What exchange has the best meme and alt coins out there? Where can I check the exchanges with most alt coins?

Thank you in advance

My advice is for you to go for the most popular ones and avoid shaddy exchanges. Imo Binance is owe of the best and most trusted altcoin exchanges out there, so my advice goes for Binance. Other than that, I also use kraken.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing with your alt bags on: December 21, 2022, 08:36:24 AM
Hopefully, you are wrong and altcoins will hold. Bitcoin is now trading around the 17 k mark which I believe to be a base. It seems to be holding and an accummulation phase as started. If this is true, we will see the altcoins holding as well
199  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Here is my analysis about btc on: December 20, 2022, 06:49:20 PM
BTC seems to be forming a bear flag i the daily time frame. Currently, it is going towards testing the mid line of the flag at $17k level. If by any chance we break and close above $17k level then we might test the $18k-$18.2k level once again.

If BTC gives daily close below $16k then this bear flag breaks down and in that case there is high possibility we see another low of BTC. For invalidation of this bearish scenario, BTC needs to break the $18k level and hold abbove it.
200  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does a trading strategy becomes obsolete? on: December 20, 2022, 06:44:34 PM
I guess so. I take it that if you keep using the same strategy over and over, it tends to wear out at the end af time. Especially, if you are going for the same strategy in front of the same players. That way, they will end up umderstanding your strategy and it wont pay off anymore. The same can be true for a specific casino. If you are constantly using the same strategy in the same casino, they'll end up knowing how to make it fail.
