181  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] New faucet rotator on: February 26, 2014, 03:33:48 PM
All of the new Bitchest faucets was now added to the rotator, under the new tab "B". They seem to work like Coinbox faucets (some were even old Coinbox faucets that just switched over to Bitchest) but they currently pay a bit more (in most cases 50% more).

Bitchest, haha great name.

Yeah, noticed it too ^^
182  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make 0.002 BTC very fast? on: February 25, 2014, 07:51:45 AM
The fastest way would be to buy them (at Bitstamp, BTC-e, Localbitcoins or any local exchange).
The easiest way would be to use faucets. Almost all of them have a minimum payout ranging from 0.055 to 1 mBTC (0.000055 - 0.001 BTC). It would still take around a week to get the bitcoins, though. To find faucets you can use this faucet rotator.
You can also try to sell signature space or services.

If you have a decent/good graphics card (AMD is strongly preferred) you could also try mining. If so, just download GUIMiner scrypt and then I would suggest mining at Middlecoin, where you mine different alt coins that are then automatically converted to Bitcoin. This method would probably take a week or two, depending on your gear and how much time you spend mining per day.

Of all those the best is likely to surf faucets, but I would not use the one recommended there. Try satoshico.in or faucetsurfer.tk

Just saying, many faucets listed there pay out less (at least at satoshicoin) and it's easier to find the higher paying faucets at the site I've linked.
183  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need recommendation for good faucet software on: February 25, 2014, 07:48:02 AM
I have used a few different scripts.
Microwallet in my opinion has the best/modern one, if you do not play with the layout too much, the ad placement is good for converting into clicks.
https://www.microwallet.org/api

Does the Microwallet faucet allow for multiple coin types? For example, if I wanted to setup a DogeCoin faucet at doge.mysite.com and a MintCoin faucet at mint.mysite.com, could I do it (with two separate databases and installations, of course)?

Also, can users use their own wallet addresses?

Microwallet accepts normal Bitcoin addresses, yes. But it doesn't support alt coins. MasterFaucet has built in support for some alt coins, and I think MyFaucet could work too if you modify it.

There is MyFaucet, MasterFaucet (using VirtualCoin) and Microwallet's own software (using Microwallet), if that was what you were looking for. Personally I've tried MasterFaucet and I made a faucet which uses Microwallet's API, both worked fine.

186  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Domain Name Registration on: February 24, 2014, 02:41:37 PM
I've heard bad stuff about Godaddy some while ago, I don't know exactly what it was though. Anyway, I borrow this thread a little: Is there any good domain provider for .com/.net domains where I can pay with Bitcoin?
EDIT: I guess Moebius327 kinda answered my question :S
187  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] WetCoins Faucet on: February 24, 2014, 02:28:50 PM
Hello! It seems like a nice faucet, so I added it to my faucet rotator under the tab "M" (Microwallet) Wink

BTC King seems to be back: http://www.bitcoinking.net/
Cannot confirm its legitimacy, though.
EDIT: Reborn, they have a 25% referral program if I remember correctly, wouldn't be that hard if you're the webmaster of a large rotator like for example landofbitcoin.
190  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: List of sites with free BTC on: February 24, 2014, 12:35:52 PM
Btw, more can be found at http://free-btc.cu.cc/rotator/
There you can easily see which ones are the most profitable. Also, most of the sites are confirmed legit an paying out.
191  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] New faucet rotator on: February 23, 2014, 06:40:59 PM
I added more faucets and there's now over 120 faucets listed on the websites, and I also try to keep them as updated as possible (keep in mind that if you find a faucet that has incorrect information or if it is disabled, just contact me and I'll fix it ASAP). However, is there anything you users would like to see changed with the website or have you got any suggestion for a new feature?
192  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cheap bitcoin hosting? on: February 17, 2014, 06:47:13 PM
Hi, should you still be looking for a VPS company, take a look at this ddos protected cloud hosting for bitcoin offer.
I'm sorry, but I already found a good host (CleverPuffin).

196  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please Help on: February 15, 2014, 12:25:29 PM
Also, a bit offtopic but it's pretty much useless to mine Bitcoin with GPU. I suggest you mine an scrypt coin like Litecoin or Dogecoin instead (you can download GUIMiner Scrypt to do it easy). If you want to get paid in BTC, you could mine on a site line Middlecoin which lets you mine different scrypt coins then automatically sells them for Bitcoin, and pays you once you've reached 0.001 BTC.
197  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Where do I get free Bitcoin? The maintained list of verified free Bitcoin Sites. on: February 14, 2014, 05:11:00 PM
I would like you to consider readding http://free-btc.cu.cc/#!/faucet
The popups are still there, but appears 10 times less (down from 20% chance of appearing to 2% chance of appearing).

What was unacceptable was the redirection to another page right after one uses the link... not cool even if it happens 0.2 % of the time.

Do you mean after you submitted? Because that's completely removed. I just talked about the popups, and if you don't like them you could just Ctrl+W the few times they appear.

I mean when I clicked on the link to your site it instantly opened a new tab for some other site and took me there.
Maybe on other browsers it would be a pop-up instead of a tab?

And why don't you send the payout instantly to microwallet for users that use their microwallet username, instead of making them wait to build up 5000 satoshis ( which would be dust if sent to a Bitcoin address instead of microwallet )?

I can't have Google Ads or similar on my site, which lead to me having very little incomes. Before these changes I was only able to send about 10 satoshis (and still I lost money). But of course, you might prefer 4 times smaller rewards and no referrals.

I would suggest that if you are only running the faucet to make money then you should find another line of work that pays better.   Wink

This list is to help newbies get started with receiving and using Bitcoin, not to help website operators make money.  Sorry.

I'm not trying to make money, just avoid losing lots of money. I pretty much want to go +- 0, and I try to adjust the payouts so I can do that.

Well good luck with that. But remember in order to be considered free and to get included on the list you need to make sure you don't make people jump through a bunch of hoops and annoy them in other ways. The point is to help newbies and make using Bitcoin a positive experience.

I will overlook my ads and see if I can make them more profitable so I can remove popups and lower the cashout limit/increase payouts.

Thanks. Let me know when your site is ready.

The popups are now completely removed, minimum payouts slighty increased (from 20/40 to 25/50) and cashout slightly decreased (from 50 µBTC to 40 µBTC). I hope this is enough.

EDIT: I forgot to mention. I had to reduce max payouts from 40 µBTC to 35 µBTC, but they are very rare anyway. I also reduced the wait time from 20 seconds to 12 seconds.

I don't know about other advertisement providers, but personally as a publisher, CoinURL has been giving me more than A-Ads.
